Random tips
meditate for 10 minutes right before you study session , doing so helped me focus 10x better while and finish stuff 10 times faster
my fav study routine that allows me to finish all my work faster : as soon as you wake up meditate for 10 minutes and then study right away , your brain absorbs information much better as soon as you wake up and you’ll find yourself easily focused
this seems quite obvious but reminding myself of it throughout the day has helped me significantly , focus on yourself and only yourself , never compare yourself to someone else , your soul is unique , different and has its own purpose , by comparing yourself you’re insulting your uniqueness and individuality
take medications if needed , go to a therapist and ask him to write a medication for you , there is nothing wrong with that , taking medications helped me focus better
discipline and consistency is all you need , always try to plan your life out , being disciplined is what makes you confident in your abilities and yourself
help others as much as possible have a “ you win , I win” type of mindset
Drink sm water duhh
romanticize your life , buy cute stationary
start your day with veggies or something healthy at least because what you eat first thing in the morning is what determines how hungry you’ll be for the rest of the day
put face masks from time to time , using sheet masks literally cleared my skin

Jalan cerita

🌍 Why Is It So Easy to Get Distracted in Today’s World? 🤯
Have you ever sat down to work, only to find yourself scrolling social media or watching videos an hour later? 📱 It’s not just you—the world today is built to pull your attention in every direction. Let’s explore why staying focused feels so hard in this age of distraction.
1️⃣ The Attention Economy
Companies thrive on keeping you glued to their platforms. 🤑 Social media, apps, and even ads are designed to grab your attention and keep it. The more time you spend, the more they profit.
2️⃣ Endless Notifications
Every ding, buzz, and pop-up is a call for your attention. 📳 Notifications interrupt your flow and shift your focus, making it hard to get back on track.
3️⃣ The Myth of Multitasking
We’re often told multitasking is a skill, but in reality, it’s a trap. 🌀 Switching between tasks splits your attention, making you less productive and more distracted.
4️⃣ Information Overload
We’re constantly bombarded with information—from news, emails, and social media updates to entertainment. 📚 Our brains can’t process it all, so we end up jumping between things without focus.
5️⃣ The Dopamine Trap
Every like, comment, and share triggers a dopamine hit, making distractions feel rewarding. 🎉 This creates a cycle where your brain craves more instant gratification instead of focusing on harder, long-term tasks.
6️⃣ FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)
The fear of missing something exciting keeps us glued to our devices. 🌟 Whether it’s the latest trend, message, or video, FOMO makes it hard to disconnect and focus on what really matters.
7️⃣ Stress & Overwhelm
When life feels overwhelming, distractions become an easy escape. 🛑 Instead of tackling what’s in front of us, we turn to things that feel comforting and easy.
💡 Reflection: Distractions aren’t just about technology—they’re rooted in how our brains react to the modern world. Understanding why we get distracted is the first step toward reclaiming focus.

setting boundaries
identify your limits: understand what you are comfortable with and what you are not. this includes physical, emotional, and mental boundaries.
communicate clearly: express your boundaries to others in a straightforward and respectful manner. use “i” statements to convey your needs without blaming or criticizing.
be consistent: enforce your boundaries consistently. if you let others cross your boundaries without consequence, it can undermine your efforts.
practice self-awareness: regularly check in with yourself to ensure your boundaries are still serving you well. adjust them as needed based on your experiences and feelings.
respect others’ boundaries: just as you set your own boundaries, be mindful and respectful of the boundaries set by others. this mutual respect fosters healthier relationships.
seek support: if you’re struggling to set or maintain boundaries, consider seeking support from a therapist or counselor. they can provide guidance and strategies tailored to your situation.
be patient: setting boundaries can be challenging, especially if you’re not used to it. give yourself time to practice and improve your boundary-setting skills.
use assertive communication: being assertive means expressing your needs and rights while respecting others. it’s a balanced approach that helps you maintain your boundaries without being aggressive.

Filling Your Cup: Small Acts for Self-Development and Mental Wellness
Tumblr media
It’s easy to feel drained by the day-to-day hustle, but I’ve found that the little things can make the biggest difference when it comes to self-development and mental wellness. Recently, I’ve been focusing on filling my cup by intentionally incorporating small acts into my routine—whether it's taking a 10-minute break to meditate, reading a chapter from an inspiring book, or simply going on a walk to clear my mind.
These small moments of peace add up, making me feel more grounded and centered. The best part? They remind me that self-care doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. It’s about showing up for yourself in the simplest of ways, little by little, every day.
Sometimes, it’s as easy as writing down three things I’m grateful for or setting a mini goal for the day that focuses on something positive—anything that pushes me towards growth while helping me maintain balance. These small acts might seem insignificant in the moment, but they truly add up over time, creating a foundation for better mental health and self-confidence.
So here’s to filling our cups, not all at once, but drop by drop.

why i am starting to hate watching self improvement youtubers
self improvement has been the trend lately everyone hopping with advice on how to change your life n all
the problem is no matter how much advice they give
their experience and environment will never be like yours
they are giving advice based on what THEY went through
and you guys dont have the same purpose
sometimes the advice they give is the last thing that you need to hear
its not about storing and grabbing as much advice as possible that will make you successful
but rather adapting to your environment and circumstances so well
and to master it and become well adapted you gotta be mindful and focus on your life
even animals adapt to their environments and thats why even bears come in many colours depending on which habitat they live and how they can survive better
white bears are white to camouflage
if we replaced white bears with pandas they wont last for over 2 weeks
imagine pandas sitting and watching white bears talking and taking advice
i know thats the most random example ever
but i had to bring a real example from the real world
most of the time its about being focused on your own path and thriving at it instead of looking at others
personally i wouldnt take advice from a random person on the internet who probably finished their whole academic career years ago
and is going through different circumstances than i am
yknow what is true power is now a days ? something that will get you ahead of 99% of the world
ITS FOCUS
no one is focused anymore
everyone is overstimulated
wasting their life away
just being focused on your own self will get you ahead in life
