This is my ultimate list of medications wich can help you with loosing weight<3
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”<3β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Β 1. Stimulants:
Methylphenidate, Adrall, Methamphetamine , Dexamphetamine, Lisdexamphetamine, Dexmethylphenidate: Stimulants prescribed for adhd, leading to an significant decrease of appetite, especially in the first months.
Bupropion: A stimulant prescribed for depression. Same effects as the other stimulants I mentioned at 1.
Modafinil: A stimulant prescribed for narkolepsy. Same effect as the stimulants i mentioned above.
Ephedrine: A stimulant prescribed for narkolepsy and hypotonia. Same effect as the stimulants i mentioned above.
Norephedrine: A stimulant prescribed for hypotonia. Same effect as the stimulants i mentioned above.
Pseudoephedrine: Used for nasal congestion, cold and allergy treatment. You can find it in many over the counter medications :)))
(Misusage of stimulants can lead to addiction)

2. Others:
Atomoxetine: A non stimulant prescribed for adhd. The effect of decreased appetite is often not that strong in comparison to stimulants.
Fluoxetine: Also known as Prozac, is an SSRI- antidepressant. Leads to an decrease of appetite, unfortunately only in the beginning few weeks to months of medication.
L-Thyroxine: Prescribed for hypothyroidism. Leads to an decreased appetite in the first week. (I don’t recommend it, the side effects are not worth it, the effect on your appetite isn’t that big)
Topiramate: Prescribed for epilepsy. Leads to a decrease of appetite. (Just don’t!)
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”<3β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” However I actually do not recommend you to use medications to suppress appetite. Misusage of medications can be really harmful and dangerous. If you really want to, please inform yourself about side effects and dosage. I also do not recommend you to use any of these medications long term. Always think about if it is worth it.
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”<3β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
3. Laxatives:
Stop trying to reduce your calorie intake with laxatives. It won’t work. Ts can get really damaging for your health and won’t even help you lose weight. Only thing that can work is sodium sulfate with lots of water. All of the other ones will only create an illusion of you losing weight while in reality the only thing you lose is a lot of poop and water. It imbalances your electrolytes which can be really dangerous, especially when you use them regularly.

I've done it all - attended Alcoholics Anonymous twice a day, five days a week. Memorized the fourth edition of the "Big Book" from cover to cover. Admitted myself into two different rehabs, staying 60 days each time.
What has ultimately kept me sober from drinking is confiding in my therapist and taking a combination of Acamprosate and Naltrexone twice a day to curb alcohol cravings.
I drank heavily for nearly two decades, and frankly have the experience and genetic predisposition to confirm that addiction is not a choice.
But sobriety and self-care are.

If I’m going to therapy for weed addiction (I do not use this word lightly)… anyway… can she really be mad if I’m going into therapy high. I’m much more talkative.

I'm just saying.
If someone has to struggle through every minute of their life, already tried every coping mechanism, medication, and professionals available to them, and the only thing thing that relieves up to 80% (I would even take 10%) of the agony they experience on a day to day basis, and improve their quality of life, and for some people is even cheaper than the total cost of seeing professions and being on medication, and can be easily accessible, and the only thing you have to have is a triple espresso and you're good for the day, then respectfully, I don't care about your opinion.
I hope this reaches the people who understand what I'm talking about, and know that they're not alone.

Funnest fact: substances that full your perception of pain make physical changes in how your brain feels and processes pain sober. And not in the direction of "less pain". Prolonged narcotics use can and does lead to hypersensitization of pain signals leading people to need more opiates because they don't have the tolerance for the original pain, let alone the New and More Spicy Pain.
Yes this includes emotional pain from trauma.
Using drugs is an ongoing traumatizing event.
fun fact: any policy on drugs that isn’t harm reduction is going to cause addicts to suffer and die
