Hi I'm wondering if you know how old was Genjutsu Hozuki was when he died and when he died I think he died before Tobirama death in Year 33

First off, the name is not Genjutsu.

It is Gengetsu Hozuki.

Secondly, there is no official statement that reveals Gengetsu's age.

We can only estimate his age based on his appearance and compare him to likes of Tobirama and Second Raikage.

The fact that Gengetsu wasn't present in the first kage summit might indicate the possiblity that He could be considerably younger than Third Mizukage (who appears to be a few years younger than Hashirama Senju).

What do we have now is Hashirama's age which is probably 26 at the time he invites other villages' leaders to the first kage summit. Gengetsu may be 10-15 years younger than Hashirama or simply just inexperienced and not a well known shinobi at the time.

If i were to estimate his age at the time of death (which i think is before Tobirama's death as the most plausible scenario is The Second Hokage's sacrificed fueled Hiruzen's motivation who succeeded at ending the war), i'd say that he looks like a man in his 40's but if i were to consider the kage summit perspective then he is supposed to be in late 20's-early 30's.

Does it make sense? I mean this is a man that is fighting in world war. I expect him to look way older than he actually is due to intense pressure and stress that atmosphere had on his body.

Genetics also play a factor as Hashirama doesn't look much younger than he was shortly after becoming the hokage, and Hashirama had died around 10-15 years after founding konoha alongside Madara. Tobirama is like that too. It's only natural if Gengetsu is around the same age as his peer Tobirama but seems like an old man in comparison.

I'd say he was 35-40.

I feel like I will never understand the people who think that Kakashi should have stayed dead in the Pain arc, since according to them he doesn't do anything relevant afterwards. I feel that if that had been the case, Kakashi would have had an unfinished character development. For me, people forget all the nice moments the character gave us (like, for example, him carrying Naruto), or all the characters he saved, or that he was the one who discovered how Obito's technique worked and that he was also the one who made the plan to seal Kaguya. Idk why they think he should have died there...

Without Kakashi

-Obito’s reveal would have held no weight. Like honestly the only reason we feel anything anout Obito’s reveal is because of his connection to Kakashi.

-Sasuke and Naruto would never have sealed Kaguya. The two of them were trying time and time again and it wasn’t until Kakashi entered the fight with Sussano and put into action a plan of his own that they FINALLY succeed.

- Obito would have never come back to the ‘good’ side. Naruto knocked some sense into Obito but Obito only gave up fighting at that point. It was Kakashi who brought Obito to their side in the fight.

-Sakura would have died, MULTIPLE TIMES. Heck, just from the change to the lava dimension her and Obito would have died as it was Kakashi who saved all of them.

-Obito’s heart would never have been destroyed, thus destroying Madara’s seal on it and giving Obito the freedom to break away from Madara.

- Naruto would probably have approached Danzo about sasuke and been locked away, forcing him to sit down and leaving no one to approach the Raikage about Sasuke, or forcing him to go Rogue to try and fight for Sasuke. It was Kakashi who chose to ignore rules and take Naruto to the Raikage to plead for Sasuke’s life.

-Sasuke would have killed Sakura. End point. Naruto saved her the second time, but Kakashi saved her the first time. If Kakashi was dead Naruto would have arrived to a dead Sakura.

-No one would have brought Naruto to the village and he would have passed out in the forest after his interaction with Nagato and Konan. It was Kakashi who arrived looking for him and carried him back to Konoha.

- Danzo would have been granted title of Hokage right away without struggle. Kakashi was the only one offered up as an opposing choice, and there was no one else the elder’s or even the daiymo would have seriously considered (For the daiymo connection matters, as shown by how quickly they recognized Kakashi by him being the ‘son of the White fang’

But most importabtly

That would have been an absolute shit ending. Kakashi is a character who has always been about dying to protect his precious people.

That was what he thought his worth was. Dying to protect ither’s and the village.’

Him living is what he needed.

Him living allowed him to realize he had worth as more than just a weapon, and that he was allowed to heal and be happy.

If he stayed dead in the pein arc he never would have gotten closure about Obito and Rin’s death, which would feel empty as by that point we’ve learned a bit about his past.

It’s the whole ‘gai should have died in the war’ shit all over again.

They could have died, but then they would just be feeding into the idea that they were fodder for the greater war machine with no worth other than to die for the cause

Kakashi, Gai and other’s living was the purpose of the story because Naruto’s goal was to have a world where people didn’t die needless deaths.

Kakashi surving was part of Naruto achieving that goal

Putting an end to countless needless deaths.

It’s why Nagato brought the people of Konoha back. He realized that he was perpetuating what he had felt by killing others, and by placing his trust in naruto to change things for the better he chose to display that trust by being the first step and bringing those he killed back.

The three kunoichis were put in different units according to their abilities. Here is an explanation to their assigned roles:

⇨ TEMARI was placed in the Fourth Division - Long-range, with ninja experts in wide attacks and distance fighting.

Their role was to collaborate with the Intelligence Division to support the other units. They are also the shield of the shinobi of the front lines.

Although the commander of this division was officially Gaara, Temari was the temporary leader of this division during their confrontation against the Third Raikage. She also led the Wind Release Team against him and against the attacks from the Ten Tails.

⇨ SAKURA HARUNO was placed in the Third Division - Intermediate-range, with ninja experts in above average speed and physical strength to aid in combat taijutsu.

Their role was to support both the close-range and the mid-range units in the front lines.

Sakura and other medical ninja of every division officially joined the Logistical Support & Medical Division during the peak of the war. She was second in command, aiding Shizune and healing countless shinobi and defeating the White Zetsu from eliminating the jōnin medical ninja.

Against Madara Uchiha, Obito Uchiha and the Ten Tails, Sakura "became" the Logistical Support & Medical Division for the remaining of the war, by herself or using Katsuyu to heal the Alliance and provide them with chakra and energies to continue their battle or rescue her allies from other dimensions.

⇨ INO YAMANAKA was placed in the Fifth Division - Special-range, with ninja from clans possessing hidden ninjutsu and battle formations.

Their role was mainly provide support and specialized attack tactics. They also may join other battalions that are in tight situations.

After the death of her father, who was in the Intelligence Division in charge of connecting all divisions telepathically with each other, Ino "becomes" the Intelligence Division and connects the leftover members of Alliance telepathically and sharing her comrades' plans.

Chunin Exams 2: Mountains of Madness [Kaito x Hanoka]

Two weeks after the first stage of their chunin exams, the Genin who had advanced assembled in front of a mountain range, for the second stage.

“This is dull, but I guess it can’t be helped…” Darui muttered, the Raikage having assigned him to proctor this second stage of the Chunin exams.

“The mountain range behind me is known as the ‘Mountains of Madness’, as the name suggests, people who have entered have gone mad from getting lost. Each team will be given a ‘heaven’ or ‘earth’ scroll like these,” he explained, holding a scroll up in each hand. “You have a week to reach the top of the tallest mountain with both to advance to the next and final round.”

Next, he showed them a piece of paper, a contract. “If you still intend to enter, please first sign your labiality waiver then make your preparations. We will be observing, but you are all on your own out there,” he added before taking his leave.

“Of course, if we sign the waver, then they cannot be responsible for anything that happens, including death…” Kaito realised, gulping a little. Was it really worth dying for?

“What? Are you scared Kaito? That’s the whole point, isn’t it? We’ll be going on missions more dangerous than this, if you don’t have the guts for it, we can go and become chunin without you!” Masaru barked at him, ready for the life-or-death challenge.

“While you do have a point there, we do have a week to reach our goal, we shouldn’t rush into it and maximise our survival,” Tatso admitted in thought, understanding Kaito’s fear and Masaru’s eagerness. If they took their time, they should be fine.

“I guess you’re both right…” Kaito wondered how Hanoka and her team were doing, and the chances of their teams having to compete against each other.

The fact that it feels like Kishimoto was genuinely planning everything that happened to him, the way his abilities work, the aesthetics the drama, he's just really interesting to me

Breaking Down Naruto: Blood Prison Part 5

Part 4

Broken Rules

The way the Celestial Prison jutsu works, the prisoners will be lit on fire if they get too far away from Mui. Now, because Naruto fell into the sea during an escape, that doused the flames. But then Naruto and Ryuzetsu, also marked with the jutsu, talk in a rocky outcropping far below the prison. You can see the distance to the prison at the 30:11 mark.

How far away are they, exactly? At the end of the movie, Mui was still on that flower-shaped platform, but the escaping prisoners started to burn before they even got all the way down the steps from the front door. But Naruto got all the way out of the prison, to the cliff, and then was dragged to that spot far below the cliff.

Shouldn't Naruto and Ryuzetsu have hit the limit of their leash sitting there? It would depend on where Mui was in the prison. And I will admit, I am AWFUL at judging space without hard numbers. But it seems to me like the two of them should have lit up like candles just by being in the cave.

A Broken Clock

This is a small follow up to an earlier observation. Remember when I discussed the timing of the attack on the Raikage and the Hidden Stone?

Well, in the final scene of the movie, Kakashi says that after the mug shot came around, Tsunade "kept a 24 watch on Naruto." By 24 watch, do they mean someone watched Naruto around the clock, or that he was monitored for a full 24 hours?

The attack on the Raikage was "last night," so...okay, let's create some hypothetical numbers to make this easier. Let's say Naruto was carted out of the Hokage's office on the 15 of the month at 2 PM.

If the attack on the Hidden Cloud was "last night," that would be the night of the 14th. If Naruto had been monitored for a full 24 hours before that, it would have started at 2 PM on the 14th.

So...was the attack on the Hidden Stone on the 14th, or even the 13th? As I said before, the two villages are very far apart. Even fudging the time with ninja speed, it is ridiculous to think Kazan was able to go from one place to the other even in the span of 24 hours. Even if went via water, there would still be the overland journey.

The only way you'd be able to do that is if you had a system of Flying Thunder God seals set up across the continent, as in the fanfic How Long is Forever?. But that is not the case here. So, yes, the movie can't even keep its own timing straight.

That is, of course, assuming the 24 watch was for 24 full hours and not just "an around the clock watch for some indefinite amount of time."

Mood Whiplash

When the credits are over, there are two post credit scenes. The first is a somber moment at the graves of Ryuzetsu, Mui, and Muku. The second is the Hokage's office right after Naruto was carted off, a scene which has a very lighthearted tone.

People on TV Tropes have commented on the severe mood whiplash of putting these two scenes together, and they're right. It's incredibly weird and doesn't work at all.

Look, there are shows that can pull off that sort of thing. I used to watch Legends of Tomorrow, and one of my favorite episodes, "Moonshot," is a prime example. It ended on a dark and dramatic moment...and then had something very silly in the ending credits.

The difference is that Legends was very good at mixing genuine drama with a level of over the top insanity that made you wonder if the writers were on some illicit substance. Also, their humor didn't make the characters look like horrible, stupid people.

Incredibly OOC

Probably the most egregious mistake this movie makes is with regards to characterization. This movie makes the Konoha supporting cast look like a bunch of disgusting jerks, to put it politely. Jerks, and also idiots.

Naruto is sent to Blood Prison by Tsunade as a ploy. They know something's up, and they've been working with the Hidden Cloud to find the stupid box, though what caused the two to suddenly team up for this, I don't know. The ease with which they just let this happen, and not even bringing up the Transformation Jutsu, feels like betrayal, and it is meant to.

Not that Naruto ever has any feelings about that. Because who would want or expect that, right?

Once Naruto is gone the lights come on and everyone sighs in relief like they've just wrapped up filming on a movie. In fact, in order to capture exactly how bad this scene is, allow me to give you a transcript of the conversation.

Sakura: Say, I didn't overact, did I?

Kakashi: Lady Tsuande, you are cruel. After the mug shots came around, you said you kept a 24 hour watch on Naruto.

Tsunade: What are you saying?! Kakashi, you're the one who suggested we go along with the enemy's plan. You'd better apologize to Naruto later, Kakashi.

Kakashi: Huh? Me? **Puts his hands behind his head** But Lady Tsunade, you said you wanted to proceed carefully since this was a joint operation with the Cloud.

Tsunade: **Huffs** You do what you must to deceive the enemy!

Yamato: Naruto's probably feeling very hurt.

Everyone: **Looks at the door with the first real semblance of guilt**

Kakashi: When he comes back, we'll let him eat all the ramen he wants at Ichiraku.

And that's how the movie ends.

Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised that this idea was Kakashi's. Not one bit. This is the same man who threw his fresh genin into the Chunin Exams when he'd barely trained them. The guy who abandoned Sakura to train Sasuke. The worst instructor in the series.

Why was this guy named Sixth Hokage again? He couldn't even take care of three genin, and you put him in charge of the village?

How Dumb Is This Plan?

Let's go over how stupid this entire plan really was. Konoha can see that Naruto has been framed, and somebody wants him in prison. More than likely, they'd want him in Blood Prison. Something is clearly going on.

Thus, everyone decides to use Naruto as bait. They do not tell him a thing because he'd blow his cover. They throw him into an unknown situation where he could get killed. And, I know what you're saying, Blood Prison is rather peaceful. But you're overlooking the obvious.

Naruto was in intense pain from the curse seal. He nearly drowned, and was only saved from that by Ryuzetsu. And if not drowning, he could have been incinerated if he got too far away.

Did Konoha know that's how Blood Prison restrains inmates? If the prison is being run under their supervision, they should have. And any idiot could probably have figured out that Naruto, if he was left in the dark, would try to escape and risk incineration. Or if the prison master is in on it, he could incinerate Naruto deliberately.

And then there's whatever's going on in the prison. Somebody is trying to get Naruto somewhere where he will be isolated and unable to use his chakra. That puts Naruto in a great deal of danger. Plus, he's a jinchuriki. When a jinchuriki is targeted, doesn't that raise your alarm bells? What if someone tried to extract Kurama, Extraction is supposed to kill you.

On top of all that, Konoha sent along no support. No one inside the prison or outside. For all the talk about use Naruto to play into the enemy's plan, there's no one watching him. This turns your "Naruto is bait on a hook to catch the fish" scenario into "Naruto is just the bread we toss into the water to feed the fish."

Oh, you might point to Maroi. But that just raises the question of whether Konoha knew about Maroi. And if they did know about him, did they really need to send Naruto in, let alone blind?

Maroi only started looking out for Naruto because Killer Bee asked him to. His real mission was to find the box and destroy it. In fact, Maroi seemed perfectly okay with letting Naruto die, and Naruto acknowledges the guy is a jerk (but his "friends" are totally okay).

If Maroi were real support, he would have been ordered by the Raikage to guard Naruto as part of the joint mission. But he was not. If he were real support, he would have introduced himself while in prison. But he did not. He only revealed himself at the end.

I don't care how dumb you think Naruto is or how he might blow the trap, I think a little trust is in order here. And don't forget, while Maroi manipulated Naruto into getting into solitary as a way to protect him, ultimately, Naruto's life was saved by Ryuzetsu when she fished him out of the sea.

Does anyone know the show Young Justice? Season 1, episode 11, "Terrors," was a prison episode. The Justice League knew something weird was going on with a group of ice-themed supervillains. They all seemed to want to be in the same place, that being Belle Reve, a maximum security prison designed for super criminals.

To investigate, the League sent in some of their teen heroes, having them pose as other supervillains. This prison was heavily guarded, and all prisoners had shock collars that were also designed to negate their specific powers. Nobody in the prison knew the true identities of our heroes turned spies, because the League couldn't be sure who was in on it.

Do you know why that plan worked so much better than this movie?

Since the collars were designed to negate the powers of the specific super criminal and the heroes, Superboy and Miss Martian, were impersonating two different people, their powers were largely unaffected. This included Miss Martian's telepathy.

They were not sent in alone. Yes, they were kept in separate wings, but could still interact with each other physically on certain occasions, and always stayed in psychic communication.

There was someone hidden outside the prison monitoring the situation. That person was Aqualad, and he was in constant psychic communication with Miss Martian.

Yes, things still went wrong. Chaos happens. But the heroes sent into the prison were in a far safer position than Naruto was. This entire plan was incredibly dumb, and the only reason it didn't kill Naruto pure luck from someone outside anyone's control.

Everyone is Awful

Kakashi's raw stupidity, I can believe. I don't want him to be that stupid, but canon hasn't exactly helped. And as for everyone else? It's completely out of character.

Tsunade cares about Naruto greatly. She sees her little brother in him. She's one quarter Uzumaki herself. Naruto is the boy that dragged her out of her pit of misery and self-loathing. This is how you treat him? You throw him in there with no support? This isn't just some mission, he will be far less able to defend himself and you know it!

But no, she tries to deflect blame onto Kakashi, even though she agreed to it.

And then there's Sakura. She doesn't seem bothered by this at all. Look, Naruto gets on her nerves. He has for a long time. But they're teammates. Sakura cares about him. Sakura has a kind, warm heart. In Wave, she felt compassion for the people who were starving, and a need to help them. She should not be acting like this.

Worst of all, Kakashi says they'll just make it up to Naruto with ramen. I just...what? A bowl of ramen can't fix this. A hundred bowls of ramen can't fix this. How simple-minded do you think Naruto is?

And that's another thing. I'd almost wonder if Naruto is out of character, too, based on his lack of reaction. Naruto has been a bit too forgiving of people that hurt him. Just look at how easily he took being lauded by the village after Pain. But even the series had him acknowledge actual lingering resentment.

Naruto is hot-headed. He's gotten angry at stuff before, including poor treatment. Why is he not angry now? Why is he not upset? It's a perfectly normal human reaction and yet it's not there at all. It's not even discussed.

Who thought this was a good idea? If you have to make the characters blatantly OOC, stupid, and awful to make your story work, you have failed.

Oh, and to top it off, there's one other thing about that final scene. As Tsunade talks, her breasts bounce several times. This is not something that usually happens in the series, probably because the animators don't want to waste the effort animating that. But it's happening here.

Is this supposed to add to the light-hearted tone? It fails. All it does is show how completely out of touch this movie is with good writing, or any semblance of sense.

How to Fix Blood Prison

Who do you think was the most wasted characters in Naruto? And just for fun, who's someone you think was actually used the perfect amount?

Woof, where to begin. Well, if you're talking about wasted female characters you gotta start with every single female character, I think

No, wait, granny Chiyo got it pretty good. She had her own personal arc, fought a main villain and went out on her own terms in a pretty emotional moment. Even when she got revived in the war she didn't get screwed over, which is pretty rare

Tayuya from the Sound 4 too. Yeah, she was only a disposable mook, but she had a badass design, some sick summonings, kicked Shikamaru's ass, and got killed by Temari. Short, sweet and to the point. The rest of the sound 4 as well were pretty good for being disposable mooks

All the jinchuriki except Naruto, Killer Bee and Gaara got screwed over too, literally offscreened and they got fuck all backstory or development. Same with the biju

The raikage and the tsuchikage got done decently well, though unfortunately I can't say the same about Mei Terumi, the mizukage and the only person in the series with two bloodline limits. You'd think someone like that would be front and center on every fight, showing her vast arsenal of elemental jutsu, but alas, she was a female character in Naruto, so she was fucked from the beginning

Danzo also got wasted. He was hyped as the dark face of the ninja world, and when he finally got some action it was with a hax Uchiha jutsu. And then he died with some half-assed bromance with Hiruzen

Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu got done dirty too. Karin specially, but the boys as well. It's a crying shame Jugo never got to meet the reincarnated Kimimaro, that would've been great to see

Kimimaro was actually used the perfect amount. He came, beat Naruto, served to show Lee's drunken fist, showed off the best level 2 cursed seal design, nearly killed Gaara and died like a beast. Respect

I feel like if we're talking about Naruto character we gotta add a third category besides "wasted" and "perfect" which would be "death by overexposure". Here would be characters like Orochimaru, who went from one of the best villains in the series to... uh... whatever the fuck he became when he got revived

Kabuto too. I don't like that he transformed himself into a dragon sage but it would've been a decent end for his story I think, trying to one-up Orochimaru and failing. Him getting a rushed redemption and ending up running an orphanage was. What the fuck were you thinking Kishi. Seriously

Minato would fall in the same category. Flashback!Minato is a spectacular ninja, truly deserving of the title of hokage. 4th ninja war Minato is lame, makes stupid names for his attacks, and got two power-ups he didn't need and shouldn't have gotten at all

Hot take maybe but I think Kakashi should've stayed dead after the Pain saga. He got one good moment after the war, which was his second fight with Zabuza, and that was it. The whole Obito storyline wasn't good for anybody (although it made one spectacular fight in the anime), and him choosing to become Hokage because Obito asked, when TSUNADE WAS RIGHT THERE was a very bitter pill

Oh yeah speaking of Zabuza and Haku, they both were great. Getting resurrected actually helped show how much Zabuza loved Haku and how much of a travesty the edo tensei jutsu was

Jiraiya was also done perfectly. Whether he was a good character and whether him being a pervert killed his likeability are debatable topics, but he was a good mentor, a great fighter and went down like the best, paving the path for Naruto. I only wish Pain had recovered his corpse and used it to invade Konoha, can you imagine the emotional damage?

Speaking of Naruto's mentors, I think Iruka was done pretty decently. He didn't get much, true, but what he got was generally good

Kisame was done great, I think. Mysterious, massively powerful, kicked his cheating sword aside when it got too horny for Killer Bee's chakra, killed himself to avoid an info leak and even after death he got one up over the good guys

Itachi, not so much. He certainly got too much overexposure after his death. Sadistic criminal Itachi was great. Kind-hearted, super genius, had-the-qualifications-to-be-Hokage-at-12-years-of-age Itachi felt like too much

Oh yeah, here's a niche one: Hanzo of the Salamander. The guy who fought the young sannin to a standstill, who gave them the title of sannin, got revived, had an unnecessary flashback bromance to a samurai and incapacitated himself, and didn't get to do anything cool at all

And well, let's close on a controversial (maybe?) note. Both Naruto and Sasuke got death by overexposure. Sasuke's storyline was way more of a mess than Naruto's but neither of them were good

Hi! I really like how much effort you put into pulling canon examples to illustrate points on your blog. I also really love how much enthusiasm you have for best guy Kakashi! On the other hand, constantly ragging on folks for deviating from canon is exhausting.

For example, I know Kakashi/Gai/Obito have the same build. MOST Naruto characters have the same build. I personally don't find the same-y builds fun or interesting, so I like to change it up. It's a personal choice, I know it's not canon (though I'm just as happy to see canon Kakashi as any AU Kakashi), so you *really* don't need to constantly say "fandom take note, X isn't canon". Either we know and we consciously choose to deviate or we don't but you've already perfectly illustrated your point with screenshots, so underlining it with a statement like that comes off as belittling at best-- even if you mean it as friendly ribbing.

I say all this because I genuinely don't think that you're ragging others on purpose. I do think it's an expression of friendly frustration that isn't landing the way you intend. At the end of the day, though, I don't follow you for what fandom thinks, I follow you for what YOU think. I follow to hear the ways YOU love Kakashi. The posts I enjoy most reflect this-- the ones where it's all "this is why I love Kakashi" and not "fandom is wrong for loving Kakashi X way".

First of all, I was really having a hard time answering this ask because you seem like a really nice person and I don't want my answer to seem harsh or upset you in any way, I literally just kept typing things and then deleting them so believe me, this is the nicest way I found to explain my thoughts.

Second, speaking my mind in my own blog is not ragging on ppl, I've never once replied to those fan works with anything negative, I always just scroll past it and then go vent with my friends about it.

Third, when ppl just can't accept a mlm ship without completely changing one of them to make him fit into the wife role because they can't see beyond an extremely heteronormative view then I have to keep reminding the fandom. When ppl can't accept a ship of 2 equal partners and have to change them to make one the stronger masculine one and the other the helpless feminine one then I have to keep reminding the fandom. When I bump into so many ppl who genuinely believe those fanarts and fanfics because it's been years since they watched/read Naruto and everything they see now is this type of content that they no longer remember the real Kakashi anymore then I have to keep reminding the fandom. When this is really effecting ppl's views of Kakashi to the point that I keep seeing ppl saying that he's so weak and small and helpless that he can't even lift the sword that he literally wielded like a total boss with ease in canon then I have to keep reminding the fandom... You have no idea how many ppl I met who really genuinely thought that Gai and Obito are really twice as big as Kakashi and when I told them "actually no, that's just fanon, they are actually the same built in canon" they didn't believe me at first until they went and looked it up themselves, and that's just the ppl that I spoke to, there are thousands of others who really don't know. You are really underestimating how fan contents affects ppl's views, for example, the majority of the fandom thinks that Kakashi was a useless Hokage just because of that old "blow up the moon" meme that never actually happened, on the contrary he's the one who STOPPED the Raikage from blowing up the moon, no one even remembers all of the great things Kakashi did as a Hokage and only remembers that meme that was the opposite of the truth. I keep reminding the fandom because when content creators do stuff like that "for fun" they don't make it clear that they changed stuff and that's not actually how it is, the misconceptions this type of fan work creates is so much bigger than you think and unfortunately it's unrepairable, even my constant friendly reminders aren't going to correct it but I still do it out of frustration first and hope that at least someone might see it and know how it actually is, because I joined this fandom when Naruto ended to keep sharing my love for Kakashi with other fans who loves him too but most of my days in this fandom, I really miss Kakashi because I can hardly find him anymore between the endless Kakashi slander and hate for things that isn't even true, the misconceptions and the way ppl change him so much that he stops being him anymore. I'm here because I want to see the Kakashi that I fell in love with not someone else's OC committing identity fraud! It's not Kakashi anymore if we're going to change everything that makes him, him!

On the other hand, you have no idea how wrong it is that ppl just can't accept a ship where both partners are equal without one of them having to be smaller and weaker or it won't be "fun", it wouldn't have been an issue at all if that's how they originally are but for ppl to change them because "it's boring" for 2 equal ppl wether in their size or strength to be together that's when it's not fine, it's 2023 and yet ppl are still not able to get over the idea that couples can't work without looking like a wife and a husband, they can't both look like men or it won't be "fun", there's a difference between having your own art style which is actually fun, and deliberately changing the designs of 2 characters who have the same built to make one of them twice as big as the other and it's even 100x worse when they change their skin color too on top of everything else, I don't think I need to explain this one.. like man, if you have a size kink then why not ship 2 characters who canonically has a size difference instead of doing this, there are plenty of characters who have size differences like, Itachi and Kisame, or Kisame and Gai or Kakashi and Ibiki or Jiraiya and Sakumo or Sasuke and Jūgo... Etc.

In the end, I'm sorry if any of what I said seemed harsh in any way, that was not my intention, and there's nothing wrong about expressing myself on my own blog because even tho I strongly disagree with that type of content, I never go to artists blogs to force my opinions on them, instead, I block the tags that can prevent me from seeing the things that I dislike as much as possible and express myself in my own space in my own blog so I can at least remind someone of the real Kakashi that the majority of the fandom seems to not remember anymore because that's the Kakashi I fell in love with and I joined the fandom for, and give him some of the love and credit he deserves but hardly is getting nowadays.

Something I find funny is that some people/fans say and actually think that Kishimoto didn't know what to do with Kakashi's character after the Pain arc (as if everything that comes after that arc was a last minute invention). It seems strange to me since at no point does the character make you feel that he's in the way or that he's unnecessary in the story. Literally, without him, Obito's revelation would have no weight..

Do people just read/watch with their eyes closed??? Kishi had so many things he had Kakashi doing

Kakashi was the leader of the tactical division in the war with Gai as his second in command

Kakashi was the reason Obito’s big reveal held any real weight. Without him Obito’s reveal would mean little and would have just been better to stay as ‘Madara’

Kakashi was the narrative foil to Obito. Kakashi was the one who lost so much but never gave up, where Obito turned his back to the world upon seeing how broken the system was and what that broken system cost him

Kakashi is the reason Obito got up to fight again, except on the side of the alliance

Without Kakashi Obito’s heart se all would never be destroyed. Chidori is the perfect move for that because it cuts and slices through the body. Naruto’s rasangan cannot do that and a one V One fight between Obito and Naruto wouldn’t have been nearly as meaningful/epic.

Without Kakashi, sasuke and Naruto loss to Kaguya. They were losing. They kept losing. It was Kakashi’s plan that finally allowed them to win.

Without Kakashi, Naruto approaches Danzo about Sasuke and probably gets thrown into a prison cell where he either has to sit his ass down or go rouge to save Sasuke. Kakashi took him out of the village against rules. Kakashi took him to the Raikage. It is because of Kakashi that Naruto got to plead for Sasuke’s life directly to the raikage

If Kakashi had not taken Naruto out of the village Naruto may never have learned the truth of the massacre and subsequently told Sasuke he was willing to ‘bear the burden of his hatred and die with him’

Sakura would have died. Multiple times but most importantly against Sasuke. It was Kakashi who saved her first. Even if Naruto saved her from that, Kakashi saved her from the ten tails attack that killed Neji, the lava dimension, kaguya curb stomping her. Without Kakashi, Sakura is dead.

Without Kakashi, Gai never would have hit his mark when he opened the eigth gate. It was Kakashi who kamuied away a piece of Madara’s shield so Gai could land his kick.

Without Kakashi Danzo becomes Hokage unchallenged, and Konoha is scrambling for a new leader after Danzo’s death.

Speaking of, Kakashi is the only Hokage (before Naruto) who is officially choices not just by those who would follow him (shikaku) but the other Kage’s who would work with him. Kakashi was suggested by Gaara and unanimously agreed upon by every single Sage as someone they could work alongside shortly after Danzo’s Bs was revealed.

Kakashi was made to do so much. Without him the story would be incredibly different. I know some whinners want him to be ‘irrelevant’ or ‘useless’ but he’s not

The story needs him

If Kishi actually struggled to figure out what to do with him, he would have made him a POW like he did with Yamato. He would have simply removed him from the story in some way, rather than giving him a meaningful important role throughout the war arc

(Repost) Naruto/Boruto Headcanon: Chocolate Flavored Potato Chips, The Marriage of Karui & Chouji pt.2 - THE LOCATION

Many arrived in the Land of Cloud a few days before the event, giving them enough time to drop their things at the hotel and do some sightseeing. Sasuke tried to spend 3 full days locked in his hotel room to avoid any trouble but tired of being harassed by his friends, he went downtown to visit around. While Karin and Suigetsu went their way, he met the clown in person; Shisui was diving into various street foods like a Tasmanian devil.

Guy wanted to be 100% prepared for the celebration so he engaged in an intensive training session with Lee. They decided to climb the various Rocky Mountains surrounding the main city. Kakashi having nothing better to do tagged along with them to Guy’s extreme excitement.

The time has come for the event to start. With the help of designated buses, all the guests make a 30-minute trip towards the higher levels of the city. They reached a huge modernly designed building. It stood out from the other surrounding structures by being carved into the gigantic rocks making the area. Kakashi sighed ‘’Well I guess, the ceremony will take place in the Raikage’s residence’’

It seemed scary and lacking life from afar but getting closer the impression changed. All guests were greeted by a ‘’red carpet’’ decorated with a wall of flowers. It is result of the Yamanaka Clan’s efforts for the decorations and flower arrangements. Thanks to Ino, Chouji’s wedding is the festival of flowers.

Here the guests are greeted by photographers. It's time for group pictures and to look cute. The photos are taken as memories but also to give away as a souvenir in a photo book. It is a great way to number the guests and establish who’s missing. Appetizers and water are distributed while waiting for the gates of the building to open and the signal to enter/proceed with the event.

Shino looked at him, ‘’Did you see a flying chihuahua Kiba?’’ he asked in a calm tone. The brunette couldn’t decipher if he was mocking him or being serious. Kiba snatched an appetizer from one of the waiters and forcefully grabbed Hinata by the hand who was in the middle of a conversation with Sakura & Tenten.

“Come on Hinata, let’s go take our group picture!” leaving Shino behind clearly fuming in anger.

If it wasn’t for his mask, Kakashi would choke in all this pollen. Tenzo doesn’t understand how he can have 100 dogs but crack his neck and break his back when it comes to plants, he thinks it's so refreshing. So does Guy who is consumed by the beauty of youth represented in this magnificent place.

Sasuke made it to the place with Shisui (don’t know how he did it) seeing this grown buffoon trying to talk to anyone who passed by is making the raven cringe. Shisui is growing out of his initial anxiety and getting comfortable. Itachi was nowhere to be found.

For a second, he thought his older brother ditched the event without warning (which is not his style). The plausible scenario relieved Sasuke. From where he is, he can see Madara posing in front of the cameras like he is some celebrity (he really thinks he is). On the other side, Obito's pride can be felt escaping every cell of his body since he is getting stopped every 10 minutes so other women can complement the beauty of his girlfriend.

After a loud bell sound, the doors are open. The guests are guided towards large stairs decorated with magnificent flower decorations. They are led to a large terrace where the first venue will take place.

Sakura was mesmerized along with her shinobi sisters. They decided to spend the first venue together since for the second venue the tables are assigned and will probably be paired with their bandmates. As expected, the terrace is fully decorated with nice flower arrangements, it is where the “formal’’ part of the wedding takes place including the exchange of rings, the bride walking down the aisle, the kiss, etc. This part included important guests and direct relatives of the couple only.

“What did you do this time?”

Mito, his beloved, wonderful, cunning wife, had sprawled herself on the engawa wearing nothing but pine green lingerie that deliciously complimented her pale complexion and dark eyes. Her red-painted lips stretched into a lascivious smile as she gave him a half-lidded once-over that sent a shiver of arousal through Hashirama’s body.

“Why, isn’t it obvious?” she asked oh-so-innocently, lightly stroking her collarbone before slowly, agonizingly, sliding the left strap of her bra down to her shoulder. Hashirama couldn’t help but stare, transfixed by the beauty before his eyes.

If the circumstances had been any different, Hashirama couldn’t possibly have restrained himself from giving in to such divine temptation, but Hashirama knew his wife all too well—this wasn’t “Welcome home, anata, I have a little surprise for you”-Mito, but “Ravish me on the Hokage-desk, where everyone could walk in on us until you’re too satiated to realize I accidentally blew up half of the Senju district”-Mito. And Hashirama would rather fix whatever Mito had caused now than later when it blew him up in the face.

Forcing his gaze upward to her eyes before losing his mental battle against the primal desire of flesh, he gave her his best puppy-eyed look and pleaded, “Mito, please just tell me what you’ve done this time, so I can deal with the consequences in time.”

The way her lips formed into a pout after being hit full force by his big, pleading eyes was practically begging to be kissed, and it was only thanks to Hashirama’s hard-trained self-restraint that he didn’t immediately give in. “How can you even tell every time?”

It was the bright red shade of the lip paint that gave her away—Mito only used that one to butter up Hashirama, as he once discovered after too many such incidents. Not that he was going to tell her that, otherwise he’d lose the only advantage he had against her sly schemes.

“Mito…”

“Fine, fine!” Mito relented, then let her hands wander lower to the bottle of sake she had strategically placed between her legs like the minx she was. A pitiful whimper escaped Hashirama’s throat at the same time as Mito continued, “The diplomat from Kumo was rather rude, so Imight’vekilledhimalittlebit.”

Hashirama’s eyes were still glued to the bottle between Mito’s legs as his mind wandered to dirty places involving Mito’s lingerie and Hashirama’s mouth, so it took him a while to fully grasp what Mito had just said. When the realization hit, however, he winced as if he had been slapped. “What do you mean you killed the diplomat from Kumogakure?! A diplomat, Mito!”

“Only a little bit!” Mito reassured, which was no reassurance at all.

“What?! There’s no such thing as killing someone a little bit; either he’s dead or he isn’t!” Hashirama felt a headache coming on. He had known he should’ve entrusted Tobirama with the diplomatic talks—for all her refined vocabulary and poise, Mito had as much tolerance as Madara. Which was none.

“He could be deader,” Mito opined, eliciting a laugh born of hysteria from Hashirama, “I didn’t even summon the Shinigami!” Because that was supposed to make the situation less dire, somehow.

Hashirama just stared at her in speechlessness, the headache growing stronger by the second. Konoha was screwed. Not even his charm could convince the Raikage to keep the dispute, which had been getting worse and worse over the past months, civil after Mito had killed the diplomat. Perhaps they could dismiss it as an accident? Maybe Hashirama could frame another village for the death? Then again, Hashirama wouldn’t want to be the cause of a war between two villages just to keep his own safe…

Sensing Hashirama’s spiral of thoughts, Mito interrupted him by purring, “Well, now that that’s settled” —nothing was settled, actually— “how about we do something about that sake between my legs? Preferably using your mouth, hm?”

That brought Hashirama’s slow descent into madness to an instant standstill, and his gaze met Mito’s once again. Smirking like a sly fox, only accentuated by the growing claws from letting some of the Kyuubi’s chakra bleed through as she enjoyed the power boost it gave her during their play-time perhaps a little too much, Mito slowly slid off the other strap of her bra as well, in her eyes a come-hither look.

There was only this much self-control Hashirama could exercise, and he had definitely reached that limit. He all but lunged at Mito with an almost animalistic growl escaping his lips as he finally did what he had wanted to do the moment he had found his wife like this after coming home.

In retrospect, it didn’t matter if Konoha went to war with Kumo anyway, Hashirama decided.
