What's the deal with Millie's family? I joined the fandom not so long ago and never really paid attention to the cast, so I'm unaware...

oop, it’s actually a long story and i probably will need to do a separate post lol but millie’s parents are controlling and manipulative. millie is the family cash cow and they keep milking her. her parents and siblings are more like her employees, with daddy in charge. millie’s production company is co run with her older sister. her brother is her photographer. i think the brother’s girlfriend/wife is in control of millie’s social media and florence. and i get the vibe that millie takes care of her little sister so she is extremely parentified. as for millie’s social life, mum seems to call the shots. it’s alleged that she searches on social media for older men to date millie. she has been groomed into flirting with men in the industry for better roles and opportunities, was groomed by drake, and it’s possible her relationship with jake was set up by mum. millie’s engagement ring belonged to mum but that’s ok because she always wanted the ring apparently.

millie is very inconsistent in what she says about her family. her parents are her best friends and she wants them to travel everywhere with her, even for work. but she also said last year that she wishes she spent more time with her family instead of working. and it’s a fact that she was travelling and staying in hotels alone at age 12 to do interviews. her parents would have no idea where she is and don’t even bother watching her projects. she said this like it was a very normal thing for parents to do. i believe she genuinely loves her little sister but her older siblings seem… ugh. especially her brother. she apparently once said she missed noah a lot during filming season 1 and 2 because they didn’t have much screentime together so they weren’t on set at the same time much, and she really wished that noah was her actual brother because it felt like he was.

i probably should stop here, lol… but one more thing: the audition tape she did for ST where she was crying? those were genuine tears. she was being pushed and berated by her dad, and ST was the family’s last chance to make it big.

Tumblr and Wordpress are preparing to sell user data to Midjourney and OpenAI, according to a source with internal knowledge about the deals and internal documentation referring to the deals. 

The exact types of data from each platform going to each company are not spelled out in documentation we’ve reviewed, but internal communications reviewed by 404 Media make clear that deals between Automattic, the platforms’ parent company, and OpenAI and Midjourney are imminent.

The internal documentation details a messy and controversial process within Tumblr itself. One internal post made by Cyle Gage, a product manager at Tumblr, states that a query made to prepare data for OpenAI and Midjourney compiled a huge number of user posts that it wasn’t supposed to. It is not clear from Gage’s post whether this data has already been sent to OpenAI and Midjourney, or whether Gage was detailing a process for scrubbing the data before it was to be sent.
