British people: these avocados must go they're past their prime please won't someone eat them

The avocados:

#British stores label avocados as ripe or not because people don't know how to tell by picking one up with their hands #these labels are almost always incorrect btw #we stayed with my in-laws for passover one year and I brought a bunch of avocados that were varying degrees of ripe so I could #have avocado on matzah for breakfast each day #and my mother in law just looked at the stickers saying they were ripe and freaked out that they were going to go bad and had to be eaten #and just served them to everyone for lunch on like day 2 #without asking me!#I was so mad #half of them were decidely not ripe yet #for context: I have digestive issues and brought a lot of my own food to accommodate for it so she didn't have to #and you know how she served them? cut in half #on a plate #with a spoon #no salt no dressing no anything just eat half an avocado with a spoon #we went out and bought a bunch more the next day and I showed her how to tell which ones are ripe but I'm a salty bitch and I'm still mad #it's been like 3 years #also if one more Brit tells me they've made guacamole only to serve me a bowl of mashed avocado that saw a grain of salt once from a train #I will lose it

#mom asked me to cook breakfast so I made the usual but for some reason it's too salty apparently #(it doesnt)#so now she's telling me that I'm a failure followed by a bunch of sermon on why I should leave my job and get married to a girl and #shave my beard and don't eat anymore so I can actually be happy and not useless #(apparently I'm not happy now) and also says thank you mockingly. Great mom #what a fun trip #also ive been telling them can we go to this specific shop i wanna see if i can find cheaper steam deck there and they all start getting #angry on me on how selfish i am for just asking that #and how i dont care about my mom because my mom isnt interested on used game stores #like what the fuck #i paid all of the tickets for her here why the fuck am i not allowed to go to where i want #pissing me off #i wanna go homeeeeee #honestly im not excited about this trip no more i just wanna go home and just go back to work and then at night i draw and play ffxiv #the only one excited i have is disneyland on the last day but i can think of several ways they ruin it too #my mom definitely will be like im tiredd go find a chair and so i have to wait for her #i hate this trip

Ever since I started cooking more, I keep seeing videos from a lady who cooks for her 3 kids and husband using veggies and fruit from her garden and some "cheap" products (I use quotation marks because nothing is cheap anymore). And istg EVERYONE is judging her for everything - the quantity of salt, spices oil, fried stuff, fillings, sauces, everything!

And now I saw the same type of video about a low income middle class mom cooking not for a family of 7, but 7. Most comments are very positive despite the food looking like shit to me (I am not American, so I don't get their taste and dishes unlike the other mom and her nostalgic recipes), but this one and the reply...

#my ex's current partner is italian and he is always a bit huh regarding salty foods for breakfast instead of something sweet like biscuits #so maybe americans also don't do veggies for breakfast #but this is so funny for me cause the kids are eating gravy(?) sausage eggs and a huge glass of a red sugary drink #but how dare you suggest veggies for breakfast?
