im worried i may giving a skewed view of it cus i can really only talk from like my half remembered perspective from when i was 11 LOL but i really think everyone should watch it, and then read the manga after bcs thats the order i did it LOL. just grit your teeth through hidekis WACKY ANIME DISTRESS over chi being like half naked it gets deeper as it goes and i guess the main thing to remember that this isnt really love a Love Story between Hideki the boy and Chi the girl, its actually talking more generally and abstractly about humans relationships with persocoms/technology and love.....this is more clear in the manga and the anime like most animes loses a lot of subtlety and nuance of the original writing...but its very beautiful....and it changed my 11 year old life and who doesnt like computer girls + stan sumomo
