Lineart Tips Part 2 Copy Paste Transform Lineart 🌹 (Subject: Ruby Rose from RWBY reimagined as a Reploid from MegaMan Zero aka my RWBY MMZ AU) Never be afraid to use the tools and functions your art program provides you. They're there for a reason. While there are some artists who prefer to draw things by hand, not every artist who uses digital art programs has the patience for that. Sometimes the Transform tool is helpful for fixing up some corrections of a drawing like fixing the perspective, making the drawing upright, fixing the position of the drawing, etc.

Blake Belladonna, fanart original costume design for a future season, line art baseline

A couple of details for the full version/alt text description:

Blake is a humanoid character with cat ears. She is aged 20 to 30. She wears a mostly white costume with black accents and embellishments. The costume features thigh high stiletto boots and an ankle-length coat which belts around her waist. Under the coat she wears a dark bodysuit with gray body armor on the torso. Blake has long waist length hair that is tied up in a ponytail. The hair is black and wavy with some blonde streaks. End alt text.

Part of my intention with this redesign (and the Yang piece that is in progress) is to bring together some of Yang's yellow coloration and Blake's black coloration to each other to represent their relationship and unity.

Soooo I’m finally posting the old Ruby piece I was working on last year…

THE COMPLETED VERSION THIS TIME 😅

This has been the first major art piece I worked on digitally in a quite a long time and was… I think the first time I’ve drawn anything RWBY related properly like this in a very long time too- plus based on my limited times drawing ruby- still probably in the “one of the first” I did <^_^'
