Perfect Butterfly 🦋

Wrote a poem and finally finished drawing it oit. Check the break for the poem:

Caterpillars gorge on food 'til they become a chrysalis

Destroying their own body inside to make a new one

Turning into a butterfly

A beautiful butterfly

Caterpillars are always hungry

Biting off more than they can chew

Take on so many things until you can't take it anymore

Hide away

Destroy what you hate about yourself

And come out anew

And then do it again

And again

And again

So when will this caterpillar

Become a beautiful perfect

Butterfly?

Lineart Tips Part 2 Copy Paste Transform Lineart 🌹 (Subject: Ruby Rose from RWBY reimagined as a Reploid from MegaMan Zero aka my RWBY MMZ AU) Never be afraid to use the tools and functions your art program provides you. They're there for a reason. While there are some artists who prefer to draw things by hand, not every artist who uses digital art programs has the patience for that. Sometimes the Transform tool is helpful for fixing up some corrections of a drawing like fixing the perspective, making the drawing upright, fixing the position of the drawing, etc.

Lineart fun on IbisPaint pt. 1 🌹 (Subject: Ruby Rose from RWBY but reimagined as a Reploid from MegaMan Zero aka my RWBY MMZ AU) When you're using IbisPaint on your phone/tablet using your finger/stylus w/ no pressure sensitivity on a tablet, the best way to simulate pressure sensitivity/ add more weight to your lines is by drawing over them (and erasing as needed). It also helps to draw the lines in different layers AND colors so that way it's easier to stay organized and not get layers mixed up.

Finally made a proper reference of my RWBY OC Freesia Krysalis, a huntress and journalist that specializes in documenting Grimm and crime. 🦋📸🌂

Her weapons are a modified travel umbrella with a spiky chain called Spring and a pocket pistol called Sting

Been writing some poems in recent months

I've been thinking about illustrating some of these poems into poetry books at some point (released as PDFs/audiobooks. Unsure about physical copies yet)

Here's one I wrote during my commute today

Tick tock Tick tock Stop the clock A break from the seconds, minutes, hours "Finally" we say Time to eat

Tick tock Tick tock Chilling to the clock What to do during this leisurely hour? Eat, and then what? Draw, read, game, watch, scroll, sleep?

Tick tock Tick tock Alarm o clock Time to work, here ends your lunch hour Make it to EOD as they say Tomorrow we continue more of this deadlock

She's a journalist with a huntsman license that creates documentaries for combat schools and huntsman academies on Grimm

So this is a SillySketchSaturdaySunday I'm very proud of.

SyLens is programmed to counter against a nefarious A/I. B/c these A/Is in the story involve a lot of surveillance, I thought about a cyber skeleton key program of some sorts.

I've been getting more into learning tech recently. It's also been an interest of mine for years but it's been kicking harder than ever which is also why I made this piece.

It's concept art for one of my stories, but it also means a lot to me both in a creative and personal level.
