Hello anon! I'm gonna answer this question by sharing what scenes in the show were so good that I want to experience them somehow. First of all, a love that defies rules of time and death, loving the same person in all of your lives is something extraordinary in itself.

Well, I'm gonna go with the drunk Khun Yai reciting the poem. For me, literature has always been a language of love. There's nothing more romantic for me than someone sharing their favourite piece of literature with me. I mean, if it's a piece that they have written themselves (for me), I would instantly ask for their hand in marriage.

Also, another scene that I really liked was the fireflies date/picnic that they had. I'm not an outdoor person but I would really enjoy going for a small picnic in a park.

Alex’s hazel eyes sparkled with wonder as they watched the sprinkling rain become a downpour. Alex looks back at Hugh, a golden-tanned young man with blond hair and fores-green tips. Alex reaches out their bronze hand, leaning on the rickety porch railing, and feels it becomes wet from the heavy clouds. A smile spreads on Alex’s lips as they practically skip down the porch stairs, somehow not breaking it as they hop down. As They reached halfway down the walkway, Alex turned and gestured for Hugh to come over to them.

“Let's go!” Alex said, excitement and the sound of rain against the metal roof blurring Hughs's heedful warning. Alex tried to yell for Hugh to come down to them.“What? I can't hear you! Come here!”

“Wait right there! I’ll come to get you!” Hugh yelled, running out to grab Alex before they could get too wet, but they were already soaked from the rain, their usually bronze skin noticeably pale. “Alex! You don’t have another set of clothes! You’re soaked! Get back on the porch!” Though the words were harsh, he said them with so much care that it made Alex almost laugh.

“I’m fine, baby!” Alex said, an open mouth smile showing off their gritted teeth that were practically chattering.

Alex met Hugh’s loving gaze; both hearts fluttered in their chests. “Let's get you inside, love. You're soaked!”

“Yeah, I suppose,” Alex sighed, their smile dropping slightly - at least until he turned his back, then they got a devilish smirk. “If you can catch me!”

Alex quickly and easily twirls out of Hugh's light hold on them. He tried to catch them, but Alex was halfway across the yard by the time he had turned around.

As Hugh chases Alex, He can’t help but watch as the person in front of him runs and dances around in the rain, their smile never fading and their laughter music to his ears. His eyes soften, and he smiles back at them. Alex stops momentarily, sensing his eyes on them, and when they turn around, they see Hugh smiling at them. Hugh can’t help but runs as fast as he can, catching Alex and twirling both of them around as the rain seemingly never stops. Alex wraps their arms around Hugh, pulling their body closer to his. Hugh ran his hands through Alex’s ebony curly hair, kissing their full lips and pulling them closer- if possible.

Hugh pulled away, putting his forehead again Alex’s. He let out a heavy sigh, his smile softening into a frown. “How do you love someone like me? I'm not perfect, and I gave you every reason to hate me, and you definitely hated me for a moment. Yet, you still found the good in me, and you fell in love with me. It’s a miracle, and I’ll never understand how I got so lucky, but I’ll never stop showing you how grateful I am for you.” Hugh spoke softly into Alex’s ear, sending a chill up their back. Or maybe they were getting cold from being in the rain for so long. Hugh thought to himself.

“Because what happened to you was your choice. You tried not to be an asshole when we first met; if anything, I was mean to you because I thought you were like them, and you still saved me.” Alex’s voice was just as soft, and they spoke slowly - less prepared to respond than usual. “You helped me escape, you kept me going, and you became my rock - even when we weren’t next to each other. I love you so much, Hugh.”

They embraced each once again, Alex shoving their wet face into Hugh's damp neck and Hugh resting his head on Alex’s. They stayed like that for a moment; it wasn’t until Alex began to shiver more that Hugh swiftly picked up Alex and carried them back inside the cabin. Both young adults got drenched, and Alex was left a sneezing mess.

“I told you not to go out into the rain, weirdo,” Hugh complained, setting down the more petite person on the toilet. He turned on the water, running them a lukewarm bath.

“But I wanted to dance in the rain,” Alex said, giggling and resting their head on Hugh's back.

“Yeah, and what if you’re sick now? The common cold probably can't kill us, but the flu can. Oh God, what if you got the flu!”

“I’m not gonna get the flu from dancing in the rain!” Alex had slightly pushed themselves away from the green-haired man, a pain in their chest as they looked at their feet with a pout, whispering barely loud enough for Hugh to hear, “I can take care of myself.”

“Hey,” Hugh said sweetly, trying to get Alex to look back at him. He tucks a finger under their chin, their bronze skin soft and wet. He pulled Alex’s face over to look into each other’s eyes. “I didn’t mean it like that. I worry about you sometimes.”

Alex looks into his eyes before they look away, biting their lip and blood rushing to their cheeks as Hugh unintentionally gives them puppy dog eyes. “I know, it's just that I’ve never been able to do that, and I always wanted to. I don’t care if I get sick. It was worth it; I’ll be fine.”

Hughs's gaze softens, and he sighs, moving his hand from Alex’s chin to their cheek, cupping it and bringing their face closer to his. “I just want you safe, babe, that’s all.”

“I know,” Alex smiles at Hugh as he looks up and continues to prepare their bath. That’s why I love you.
