I appreciate this ask a lot. It's not that it's annoying (because it's SO cool knowing how much people love the fic, for sure), it's just pressure. I see you with your awareness and consideration of how the thirst for a sequel might be affecting me and that's really kind and thoughtful. So, thanks so much for that, really.

I'm certainly less averse to revisiting the relationship outside of the Coachella context because that's been played out. How do I write something new and exciting to me as the author that doesn't feel repetitive or derivative of the first if it's the same people in the same place? So this is certainly more palatable. Who knows. I might have a dream that worms its way into my brainstem about these two that I won't be able to ignore and one day you'll log on to a sequel ;) It's impossible to predict, as I was saying earlier.

Oof, seasonal depression is the worst. Hang in there! And I hope you can talk to someone if need be! (I am in no way a trained professional but my asks/inbox is always open if you need a sympathetic ear.) I love seeing the gifs you come up with but mental health always comes first and no one on this site worth their salt would be mad at you for taking a mental health day (or week. or year!)

The greatest injustice ever faced is that I almost certainly started the still thriving "clown husbandry" tag on here, but any discussion about it (from a know your meme page to a youtube video with 500k views) says it's a joke of "unknown origin" or credited to this post, likely bouncing off of mine (which was actively circulating at the time with like 30k notes):
