Alastor and Y/n, partners in crime, the fuel and the fire. On a first glance, it would be assumed she was his fuel, the coal and dry leaves he fed himself by. Once anyone got to know them -- and god, what trouble a person was in if they got to know them -- they quickly realized it was the other way around.

Hand in hand from day one, from childhood. Running from the cops, washing the blood off one another's faces. In the living world and life after death, nothing could tear them apart. He was the soil she planted herself in, he was her rock and Y/n? Well she was Alastor's everything. He'd do anything at all for her, all she had to do was ask.

For a decade, they terrified the living world. They were the reason to double check the lock on the door before bed, they were the ominous shadow at the corner. When cold death wrapped them in his reckless grasp, they turned their terror on Hell.

The pair made a name for themselves quickly, filling up the airwaves and making waves in the underworld. For generations, they reigned supreme. For generations, they knew no fear. Then one day, they simply disappeared.

When Alastor reappeared on the streets seven years later without his shadow, the town was alight with gossip. No one knew where he had been, where she still was, or why he had returned but Alastor quickly rebuilt his operation, setting up shop at Lucifer's daughter's Hazbin Hotel along with several of the souls he owned.

The hotel's other residents and workers were distrustful of the man, to say the least. He was shifty, wore a constant smile, and rumors circled around him like birds of prey. That was until about three months into his stay, at least.

Angel hadn't meant to eavesdrop. He'd been coming down to the bar for a drink and a rant of his own when he'd heard the familiar, crackling voice of the Hotel's host.

"I just... I miss her so much, Husk."

He sounded sad, utterly dejected. Angel crouched down on the staircase, hiding his slim body behind one of the ornate posts supporting the railing.

"You keep saying that but do nothing to go find her. She disappeared the same time as you, you know." came Husk's gruff reply.

"I know she did."

"You keep saying that, acting like you know something. Admit it: you don't know shit, Alastor."

Alastor's radio waves faltered, squeaking slightly. Angel tensed in terror, wondering if he'd been found out. This was clearly a private conversation, and the Radio Demon was testy at the best of times. Right now he seemed positively furious.

"Don't test me, Husk." Alastor said after a moment, breaking the tense silence, "She... we both got roped into something. I am doing my part, she is doing hers."

Angel straightened himself up, deciding it was high time he entered the room. He still wanted that drink, after all. He let his feet fall heavily on the stairs, alerting the others to his presence. Husk turned toward the sound, meeting Angel's eyes as he entered the bar. Alastor, on the other hand, kept his back to the spider demon.

Taking a seat beside Alastor, Husk immediately poured Angel a drink and slid it across the counter towards him.

"So, tough night, Smiles?" Angel asked, turning to Alastor who downed the rest of his drink in a single gulp.

"I don't know what you're talking about, my good fellow." Alastor hummed in response.

There was a threat in his voice, but Angel could tell the demon's heart wasn't in it. Everything was just, odd.

"Yeah... sure..." Angel scoffed, taking a sip of his own drink.

"Radio man was crying to me about his wife five seconds ago." Husk grumbled and Angel's eyes went wide.

"You have a wife?" he asked, turning back to Alastor, "I mean, I get it. I'm in to the whole 'tall dark and creepy' thing too but, you care about someone? I don’t know if I can see it.”

Alastor's eyes narrowed as he turned on Husk. The cat demon rolled his eyes in a brazen display of disrespect. He knew his master well, knew this was the only thing he had any leverage with the man on. With a deep breath, Alastor placed his hands firmly on the bar top and pulled himself to his feet. Not saying another word, he disappeared into his shadows.

That had been the first odd occurrence. Of course Angel had told Charlie and Charlie had told everyone, had even approached Alastor about it. The Radio Demon brushed it all off with skill and for a while, things were quiet.

About a month later, the second strange thing began happening. Alastor had always had a certain sway over shadows, everyone knew that. However, he very rarely used them, brought them out if it wasn't to hide him or take him where he needed to be. Then, suddenly, one began to follow him.

"Uh, Alastor?" Charlie had timidly approached him the first time she saw this happening.

"Yes, Charlie my dear?" Alastor asked, turning to face her as he tossed his microphone in the air, catching it neatly in the center of the stand.

"Well, we were just wondering if everything was... okay?" she asked, her hands behind her back and a pointed gaze on the shadow.

"If everything..." Alastor trailed off, following the path of Charlie's gaze and realizing what was going on, "No, no my dear. Everything is quite all right, quite alright indeed."

"Well, okay... If you say so." Charlie had relented after a few moments, unsure of what else to do.

Eventually, the members of the Hazbin Hotel grew used to the shadows, they too slipped out of their minds. Overcome with impending doom of the extermination just a month away, Alastor's strange behavior was no longer a priority.

That had been until the third odd occurrence came into being. It was Sir Pentious who had noticed it first, drawing it to the group's attention as Alastor walked through the lobby and past the group doing trust exercises there on his way to some meeting or another with the other overlords.

"Sir Pentious?" Charlie had called, trying to bring him back to earth as he watched the place Alastor had occupied, "Sir Pentious?"

"Pentious!" Vaggie yelled and his head snapped to her, "You're not coming up with some new plan to attack Alastor, are you?"

"No!" he quickly exclaimed, waving his hands frantically in the air, "Not at all just..."

"What?" Vaggie asked through gritted teeth, advancing a step forward, her spear in hand.

"It's just... doesn't that shadow Alastor has had following him well.... doesn't it kind of look like a woman?"

Husk broke out into wild laughter while Angel widened his eyes.

"Oh, he's definitely lost it now." Husk exclaimed as he calmed himself, clutching his stomach, "If I knew Y/n was the secret to breaking him down, I woulda done something about it years ago."

"No you wouldn't have, ya big talker." Angel teased, elbowing the cat demon lightly.

"Y/n?" Sir Pentious asked.

"Alastor's wife. That was her name." Husk replied.

"Did you know her?" Charlie asked.

Alastor had left the hotel, the threat that had held their questions at bay for months was gone and the topic was right. Husk nodded.

"So, what's she like?" Angel asked suggestively, "Is she more of a dom? Does deer boy like to get dicked down by his lady?"

"Gross." Charlie shook her head, her hands to her temples, "I do not want to know that."

"She's a good kid." Husk said after a moment, "She's nice..."

He trailed off.

"But?" Vaggie prompted, sensing there was more that he wanted to say.

Husk sighed.

"If you think Alastor is trouble, she's a fucking house fire set for the insurance money."

"So probably not interested in being a guest." Charlie dejectedly stated.

Husk shrugged.

"You never know. It has been seven years since anyone has seen her. Alastor allegedly knows where she's at but, he hasn't gone after her. Just keeps whining to me about it so, I don't know. Maybe she's changed. I doubt it though. Sweet as a pea, sharp as a knife."

Charlie had never felt such relief as when she learned Alastor had not died in the chaos of the battle. The hotel was destroyed, heaven was pissed, Sir Pentious had died but, at least he was alright. They rebuilt the hotel, Alastor's same shadow of a woman trailing after him wherever he went. After about a week, thanks to all the angelic and demonic powers involved in the construction, the new Hotel was finished.

It was just as they put the finishing touches on the place, hung the portrait of Sir Pentious they'd commissioned above the fire place, that a portal opened in the lobby. Everyone tensed, banding together behind Charlie and Alastor. Angels were coming, they were sure of it.

A crash echoed from the other side, a sharp yell and then something tumbled through the portal. With a flash, the portal disappeared behind the shape of a person huddled on the floor. She coughed violently.

Alastor's eyes went wide. Everyone else was too distracted to notice, but if they'd have been paying attention, they would have seen his shadow disappear.

The girl was filthy, her clothes torn and her hair tangled. She let out another, sharp cough before slowly lifting her head. Alastor took a trembling step forward.

"Y/n?" he asked, his voice soft in disbeleif.

A smile, wide and sharp, split the woman's bruised face in two.

"Hey hun, I'm home."

In a flash, he was at her side, helping her to her feet, checking her for wounds.

"Jesus, Y/n." he sighed, "You're a mess."

"I know."

"Y/n-"

"I know. I shouldn't have done it, you don't need to lecture me. I didn't have a choice. It was you or me, Al. I couldn't... I can't... I had to. You've gotta understand."

"Sweetheart-"

Y/n cut him off again, her speech a single, constant, stressed-out stream.

"It was stupid, I know. I know. I really do but, she gave me the option and I couldn't say no cause then if I said no you'd really be the one in trouble a-"

Alastor raised a hand gently to her cheek and Y/n's words caught in her throat. She looked up at him, meeting his eyes at last.

"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."

His voice was soft, so quiet the others could barely hear him. Y/n's cheeks flushed a bright pink. Her hands found the lapels of his jacket, holding them lightly.

"I.." she stuttered, her mind racing.

With a sigh and a slight shake of her head, she gave up in the search for words and buried herself in his chest. Alastor wrapped his arms around Y/n, pressing her tightly into his frame.

"God, I missed you." she said, her voice muffled by the fabric.

Alastor pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head.

"I love you." she continued, "I'm so sorry."

Alastor pulled her off of him, leaning down the slightest bit so they were eye to eye. Y/n, wiped a stray tear away, letting out a slight, sad laugh. Alastor's eyes traversed her face, caressing every crevasse.

"I'm so glad your alright but, I don't understand." he said at last, "How are you back? The deal..."

Y/n nodded and Alastor's eyes went wider still. Leaning on Alastor's shoulder for support, she turned her eyes onto the rest of the group.

"You must be Charlie." she hummed softly, meeting the young demon's gaze.

Taking a deep breath, Charlie stepped forward and nodded.

"Yes, I am. I run the Hazbin Hotel, which is where you are, to help rehabilitate sinners."

"I know." Y/n nodded, her voice quavering slightly, "I've heard so much about you. You... my dear, it worked."

"I- what?" every other question died in Charlie's throat, shock shot through her body like a bullet.

"It worked." Y/n confirmed, "You did it. I had a deal, a deal which Alastor went to your side to get me out of. If you succeeded in redeeming a soul with his aid, I would be free. And here I am."

"Here you are." Alastor repeated, spinning Y/n to face him once again.

She wobbled unsteadily on her feet. Catching sight of this along with the numerous wounds all over her body, Alastor scooped Y/n up into his arms like he did when they had first been married, when they had crossed the first threshold together. Y/n looped her arms around his neck, exhaustion seeping in with the relief as she let her head fall on his chest.

"Vaggie..." Charlie began as she turned to her girlfriend, "you don't think..."

"Pentious?" Vaggie asked and Charlie nodded.

"It's gotta be." Angel confirmed.

"You did good, kid." Husk smiled, patting Charlie on the back.

Y/n raised her head at the sound of a familiar voice, her eyes opening.

"Husker?" she asked with a smile.

The cat demon stepped forward, bowing slightly.

"Husker! I-"

"Enough of that, my love." Alastor cut her off, tapping her nose gently, "You need a shower and some rest. You can meet everyone in the morning."

Y/n crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes as she looked up at her husband.

"Promise?"

"Yes, I promise." he sighed.

"Does that mean you're staying?" Charlie asked tentatively and the couple turned to her.

"Whatever the little lady desires." Alastor stated, looking back down at his wife in a lovestruck daze.

"Yes, Charlie. We're staying." Y/n laughed, "Things need to start changing around here and I don't see anyone else doing a god damn thing to make that happen except for you."

"I.." Charlie was speechless, the kindness this fear inspiring woman was directing towards her, having never met her before. What Husk had said made sense, she smiled, "Thank you. I don't know what you did, but that you both so much."

"Anything for my favorite girl." Alastor kissed Y/n softly.

"Oh, get a room." Angel scoffed, rolling his eyes.

Shaw pack headcanons i have

Gabe helped Marie in looking after Milo, alongside the Talbot family, who helped whenever they could. Marie felt guilty about the whole thing and would try to pay them as thanks for looking after Milo and the trouble theyve cause since Gabe was a single father raising David, on top of leading a pack, while Asher's parents were already raising two kids and took on a third kid whenever they could.

But they turned her away every time telling her that it was no trouble at all and enjoyed having Milo around. On top of telling her, that packmates look out for one another no matter what.

Gabe was once found passed out on the couch cuddled with the pack kids who were also knocked out like a light.

Gabe also taught Milo and Asher how to cook or try with Asher. Even with David's and Milo's help, Asher just couldn't grasp the concept of it.

David was skeptical about Sam at first due to the whole Quinn incident. Only did he feel like he could truly just Sam around Darlin when he saw how Darlin acted with Sam around, along with the transformation they went through whilst Sam looked after them.

Note: Seriously, David was ready to throw hands with Sam if the man had done something he did not like at all. And Sam KNEW IT, k, the poor vamp was fearing his life because he could feel David's intense stare from across the room.

David has a natural fast reaction and has caught pack members and items that have fallen or slipped.

David wished for once he was great with words or comforting people in general, wishing he could've done something better for Milo and Darlin (separate) rather than holding them tightly as possible as they cried, practically acting as their shield during their time of being extremely vulnerable.

Asher is the biggest cock blocker and wears it like a badge of honor, that is till Milo teamed up with Darlin and David and all three blew up his phone like crazy for a week straight. Preventing him from getting in a certain mood with babe.

Asher once answered the door fully shifted, taking Guy by surprise only to deepen his shock, when Asher took the food from him and closed the door behind him using his back paw, leaving Guy completely stun on wtf just happened.

Asher has a history of accidentally headbutting, hitting a bit too hard, or knocking someone over whenever he gets hyper.

Milo, though the youngest, very rarely cried as a child/teen. The first time Sweetheart saw him cry was receiving the news about Gabe's passing and during the funeral service. Though he slowly realized after the whole inversion, he's allowed himself to be a bit more vulnerable than before.

Milo wished his mother had left his father, wondering just how different their life would've been than actively rotting away due to his father gambling addiction at the time.

Given his background, Milo can quickly adapt to unexpected changes and knows how to basically fix anything or knows how to make things last longer. Becoming the "repair man" among the current pack kids who'll come to him whenever they have something for him to fix.

I know many have jumped on the bandwagon that the jacket Darlin wears belonged to either David or Gabe. I personally believe that it once belonged to Asher, who gave it to them after finding them wandering outside without a jacket one cold night. So Darlin hangs on to it because he's one of the true closest friends they made at the time during their teen years.

Darlin and David struggled in getting along with one another as teens due to David not being used to Darlin's destructive behavior and Darlin being overwhelmed by David's protective/caring nature. However, after a few awkward hangouts, they became close friends over time until the Quinn incident. Leaving David extremely hurt because he had thought they were genuinely close friends to the point that Darlin could've come to him about anything and he would've done everything to help them without question at the time.

Darlin, similar to Milo, on not being the biggest crier within the pack kids, felt overwhelming, relieved to see everyone they deeply love and care for alive and okay. That Sam crying was enough to send them into crying mess as the two tightly held onto one another.

Angel being labeled as a heat radiator by David, still gets overly warm despite having light bedsheets, have kicked off the sheets and sometimes unconsciously kicked David out of bed as they moved around to the next coolest spot within the bed.

Angel who managed to convince Darlin to rough housing with them in their shifted form due to David not budging in fear of accidentally hurting them. They shortly learned this was a mistake, as Darlin absolutely knocked the wind out of them first round before shifting back in a panic. The two laughed the whole incident off but kept it a secret from Sam and David.

Angel knew the concepts of cooking, but because of their workaholic nature, they just found ramen and preprep meals easier to deal with. Slowly forgetting how to cook overtime until David taught them.

Babe, who's used to having a few bruises every now and then after rough housing with Asher as the two have a history of getting carried away. Don't worry because Asher not far behind them, bearing his own bruises from whenever he tried protecting Babe from hitting something or falling onto the ground.

Babe who's accidentally scared the absolute hell out of Milo and Darlin by accident once, after mistaking them for Asher. Though Asher intentionally has sent the two towards Babe's direction knowing that they're waiting to get the jump on him.

Whenever Babe has trouble sleeping, and they've done everything they can with Asher help in trying to back to sleep. Asher will shift into his wolf before getting back into bed, and curls himself around Babe which works like a charm because not a moment later they're finally dozing off while giving Asher some good old head and ear scratches.

Sweetheart has to clarify/translate that no they don't have an actual kid, that the son Milo is referring to and is constantly gushing about is Aggro, the once feral stray who is now a very pampered chonky cat.

Sweetheart who's a bit wary of cats and dogs due to not being around them growing up. Especially wasn't used to such a very vocal and affection cat. Milo who helped them slowly get use to Aggro's presence, though every now and then they sometime end up profusely apologize to Aggro after thinking they did something wrong to upset him or had accidentally hurt him.

After Sweetheart healed all of Milo's wounds from his hike with Asher, they couldn't hold back the tears anymore and broke down crying telling Milo how terrified they were because they immediately thought of the worst had happened for him to even sustain these kind of injuries.

The reason Sam won't let Darlin fret over him when it comes to his limit whenever he's healing them. Its because he saw how Darlin didn't blink an eye to the fact they where basically on death's door first time he came to heal them, and can't stop wondering if he had taken any longer if he would've found them dead on their couch.

Sam's usual intake of caffeine is typically 2-4 cups of extremely strong coffee just so he can feel that small energy buzz. And everytime, he leaves baristas amazed and terrified on how someone like him can intake such a scary amount of caffeine without feeling some kind of aftereffect.

Sam bought one of those rope toys for large dogs as a way to test out Darlin's shifted strength, and made the mistake of telling Darlin that they didn't need to hold back......he soon found himself being flung forward and into the ground as if he was a mere ragdoll.

Also now just has a basket of them, due to whenever the others came by to visit, they would end up obliterating them as if it was nothing, not to mention they also took a dig in testing out their strengths against Sam's without having to getting hurt. Even if they did manage to get hurt, Sam would heal them shortly after.

It had been 11 months when you both first hooked up.

Somehow, you'd both kept it on the low. Joe broke up with his girlfriend a few months ago and ever since then the routine was the same, after a game or practice, he'd want you. If he was away he'd let you know on the way back to campus.

But along time, you both realized the feelings were very mutual. You both started caring for eachother, and with you being a basketball player and him being a football player, it was extremely difficult to hide your relationship. No posts, locations had to be off when you were both around eachother. Easy, or so you thought.

After Joe's eligibility at LSU ran out, he moved back home. Long distance was never easy, going from someone who was down the street to someone across the country destroys a person, especially when you both never came clean to eachother about the thoughts you had about eachother.

So when March Madness started and LSU being a strong contender, he knew he had to watch you. He knew he had to support you and while he was expected to wear orange and black, you'd still be wearing purple and yellow (with a mix of gold) for a bit. The first rounds were easy, blowing out teams that barely made the cut by 50+ points.

And soon you were called a MVP, awarded titles for Player of the Year and even became a overall pick of the WNBA, but with all of that the quarterback still watched on the sidelines. When someone asked him in public about a girlfriend, he'd always shake if off, shut down the topic or just ignore it entirely.

But in the championship, and your birthday being the next day, one of your teammates decide to post a picture without blurring or cropping out Joe's face midday.

And as you texted the last message, Joe called. Knowing he fount out about the photo leak, you pick up the phone.

"Why the hell is there pictures of us on the internet. I thought we were on the low." Joe says, his voice sharp

"I thought too."

"Your teammate shouldve never posted that photo, I never got to admit my feelings for you or requested for us to be posted together." He replies

"Well you thought wrong y/n, I really love you. Im not trying to play you but just give me one chance. Ill be the last, i promise." His voice seems weak, the weak spot opening up to something youve never seen.

The two of you both stayed on the phone for a bit before hanging up, knowing it all subsided and he gave you the reassurance of a comfortable soft launch, you decide to go for it.

finished the Henry danger movie and it had its moments mostly with Henry and jasper but the end of the movie was very unsatisfying and I know Henry has never been the most perfect friend but he just felt so ooc and assholeish in this movie and it never really gets resolved. the silliness was completely gone almost and jasper's personality was sanitized except for his obsession/loyalty to henry, which henry didnt even get to react to or acknowledge that much in a way he would have done in the OS because he was too busy mewing and standing there looking attractive. I think this ending for Henry danger as a whole is unsatisfying with Henry saying "I lost my whole childhood to being kid danger, I dont want to be captain man" and then leaving swellview to just become. captain man 2 but not. hes still a superhero he just didnt take over for swellview. I thought that the arc between jasper and Henry was going to end with Henry realizing how much he needs jasper and how theyve been friends for years and years and hes been a shitty one and that jasper deserves to be treated better by him but instead it just had Henry give jasper the torch to protect dystopia when jasper never wanted to be the big hero he just wanted to be equals with henry. and then its treated as a satisfying ending for jasper and Henry to separate for them both to be superheroes

So it takes them a bit to get together because after coming back from the Never Realm, Zane is in Single Dad Mode. Transitioning Kotori from isolated palace life to like, regular girl middle school, is a lot of work! Making sure she's still a priority (and still FEELS like a priority) in his life while also balancing his duties as a ninja is also a lot of work. there's not much time to dedicate to a romantic relationship in a way that Zane feels he could sustain- he will NOT set kotori aside to pursue anything, and he doesn't feel right about potentially neglecting a romantic partner because of his responsibilities as a father. so, for the first few years post NR, he's not interested in dating at all.

...of course, whenever you say "I'm not interested in a relationship" is when a relationship finds you lol. I think Zane and Cole have been dancing around the idea of a Them for a while, and yes the NR incident puts a huge dent in their immediate future but it doesn't derail that train entirely. Cole knows what it's like to take care of a kid (Wu during hunted) and he knows it's a ton of dedication and time, so when Zane gives off those dad focused vibes Cole steps back and allows Zane and Kotori space to adjust. He does his best to help where he can and support the two in whatever way they need.

Kotori bonds with Cole extremely quickly. He loves music, and they connect a lot over his record collection! He introduces her to a lot of different bands and takes her out to concerts and he really encourages her talents and skills with different instruments. He goes to every band competition and talent show she performs in. Zane's pretty protective of Kotori, and Cole is the person he trusts most with her.

Despite how Zane is not looking for a relationship, he and Cole quickly resume their dance. He goes to Cole for advice and listens heavily to Coles thoughts on raising Kotori. Years after the NR, Cole comes to Zane with the idea of them becoming something more serious-

and Zane says no.

It's not that he doesn't Want Cole too, but... well, he's still not sure he can balance the two parts of his life. Kotori is only 16, she's still got a lot of life left and he wants to be present for every single second.

Cole can respect that, but he also owes it to himself to try because he's realized he Loves Zane. and he loves Kotori. So he suggests they try something casual- no titles, no hard commitment. just dating. and they can see where things go. if it doesn't work, that's okay- they can just go back to being friends and they can both move on knowing they at least tried. there won't be any what-ifs between them. (Besides, theyve basically been dating this whole time- just without the kissing and other stuff.)

Zane is open to that and, after talking to Kotori about how she would feel about him dating again, agrees to try. Nothing serious, just casual.

they are locked in within like 4 months. for lifers. Basically married. Zane quickly realizes that his fears with dating- that it will split his attention away from his daughter and cause him to stumble as a father- were all wrong. Being with cole only enhances his life with Kotori. things get way, way better.

the transition from single father to little family is basically seamless. Cole is already another Father to Kotori before he and Zane even begin dating. Now they've just made it more official.

Kotori is a little scared at first- she was Zane entire world when she was a kid, then she lost that single-minded devotion when they came back to Ninjago and Zane had other responsibilities to tend to- what happens if she loses even more of him to a romantic partner? But She also loves Cole a lot, and of anyone her dad could pursue he's the one she feels safest sharing her dad with.

Kotori also wants Zane to be happy. If Cole makes him happy, then she can be okay with losing him a little.

Just like Zane though, her fears are quickly proven unfounded. Cole brings a new love and warmth to the two of them and only makes their lives better. She never felt like she was missing something when it was just her and her dad, but gaining cole just makes that already content feeling more fulfilled.

What is Reverse Ford's relationship like with Stan and the Twins post weirdmageddon?

ford's in a bit of an interesting position post-weirdmageddon.

see, because ford never gets a metal plate for himself, there's not really any sort of twin switcheroo that can happen, so instead, the one who gets their memories all zapped away is ford. and he went in there genuinely believing he wouldnt come back- much like stan- but for HIM, that's because he had become the same sort of monster that deserved to burn like will was. that he had abandoned everything in the selfish pursuit of power. so when he started remembering things again and realizing it was because his family was actively putting in the work to get him back (with NO strings attached this time), he was. STUNNED to say the least.

he kinda doesn't know what to do with himself. the kids are working on undoing what short damage theyve done in the time theyve just been kids growing up, stan's even turning a new leaf, but him? he was the one who made the apocalypse happen and helped urge on mabel to get the rift. he tried getting mason to join him, he kept will locked in a deal for years, he threatened stan into getting his house back, he lost fiddleford's friendship... all that.

he's pretty quiet for the first few weeks because, like, mason and mabel, they can still learn to be regular kids instead of performers. stan was always a failiure in their parents' eyes, so he never put TOO much stock into the whole 'put on a show' thing. but ford has been constantly charming people into getting what he wants, and hasnt stopped since the moment his mom handed him the phone and went "here. read the lady's fortune. make sure to include how happy and prosperous she'll be if she buys our tarot deck". it's hard to turn that off. so for a while he just chooses not to try at all.

i imagine it isn't until he reconnects with fiddleford that he actually ends up trying to get closer to stan and the kids, because fidds is like "youve been handed the best thing you could ever have on a platter: a new beginning. dont go wastin it now!"

stan and ford are slowly but steadily learning how to actually be brothers again and express how much they matter to each other (cos they spent a LONG time trying to usurp and use the other), ford is trying to explore mabel's various hobbies and they talk fashion ALLL day, but i think the one ford is really concerned for is mason. he sees a lot of himself in that kid and wants to make sure he knows that ford regrets all of the stuff he did and not to be like him. yknow since mason was REALLY into all that magic stuff

at the end of the day, hey, it could always be worse! he could be in some sort of therapy-prism! but that's ridiculous right.

You scared him after you left, when he sent out people to find you

Sure, the bed doesn't feel as warm as it used to

And it feels like he's trying to grip onto thin air when grabbing you

But he is going through something

He won't admit it to you, but you know he's scared to let you go

He doesn't let you out of his sight anymore, not that he ever sees you leave

When Bi-han wakes up, he does not see you next to him

He panics, throwing sheets and gasping for air

‘Bi-Han?’

He stops. You don't sound the same since they found you. You sound horse, raspy. He thinks it's because you are scared- or something that can be explained

‘Where were you, why did you leave..?’

‘I’m sorry honey, I didn't mean to scare you. I won't do it again’

Nonetheless, ever since you came back, you've been saying all the right things

You know you hurt him- and you want to fix it

okay the loop pronoun thing its like its like the splinter in my mind that sticks out just enough to get caught on stuff and irriatate the stuff further in.

because they start off with the royal we before going oh wait thats a personal thing not how other people refer to you. so that with the masking literally everything i am genuinely completely undecided on if the pronouns are like they actually just dont associate any with themselves anymore, their lying and covering it up so siffrin wont suspect anything or if its like they just need some time to be around people again and then itll be like ohhhhhh thats why i like these right.

and from there it goes into we literally have no idea how they act around people. okay they were siffrin but now have been so completely transformed by the looping that they are different enough to qualify as someone else.

they get called shy by the party but is that because they realize talking to them will have permanet consequences? is it because they remind them of who theyve lost? is it because they just havent talked to anyone aside from siffrin?

if they got comfortable around others would they be sassy like they are around siffrin?

loops everything is so wrapped up in the timeloops that its like there is almost nothing that can be said for sure about how they would act outside them at this point its like yeah they were siffrin but theyve forgotten all that and are different at least somewhat from everything.

the looping time really has utterly crushed them and then remolded them into something new and it is shown so so well through what is and isnt there about them and its so irritating they are literally a puzzle begging to be solved and the pieces are all blackened from fire and some are a bit out of shape and its like this used to be a solvable puzzle but at this point who knows!

yesss i do think the they/them was just the quickest default that they at least knew they didn't hate, and they're no longer Siffrin Enough to share siffrin's preference for he/him or they/them, though they may now (or one day) have their own preference for they/them. sometimes i give loop more pronouns later because there's no way they won't change a lot post-loops! (or in aus where they've otherwise had more time to think about it and try things out.) i'm fond of she/they/it loop but i may be biased lol

WE JUST KNOW SO LITTLE ABOUT THEM!!!

we know they were siffrin, a long long time ago.

we know how they act with siffrin, who doesn't yet know who they are, during the timeloops -- which are all three very big and specific criteria.

and then we know how they acted in acts 5 and 6, which are also super unique and unreplicable situations! obviously in act 6 they were just faced with the fact that a happy ending was possible all along but it can now never be theirs, on top of this being the first interaction in which siffrin knew loop's identity and loop knew siffrin knew. and then in act 5, this was their first interaction with the party as loop, which only happened because of desperate circumstances, and started off on the very wrong foot of utter devastation at not being recognized, which meant they abandoned their plans and improvised, all while everyone is super worried about siffrin and then trying to navigate the fucked up house. very weird and overwhelming situations!!

you can draw clues about how loop might act post-canon from all of these things we know, but you can't just straight up extrapolate, yknow? their in-game feelings and motivations just will never again apply in the same way, post-canon. and on top of the new contexts in which they'll be living, their trajectory will surely be strongly affected by their immediate post-canon circumstances, to the point that even putting them back into more-familiar contexts somehow would now provoke new responses. they could go in so many directions!! we just don't know!!!

sometimes people are talking about how loop would act post-canon and they say things so definitively and im like. man i think it depends 😭 we know so little about them and they know so little about themself.

THEORY TIIIIIIIIMEEEE!!!! chat, it is time for me to finally actually share this theory of mine because i am INSANE over this

dragons rising is directly paralleling the original seasons of ninjago. the new generation of characters is walking the same path, following in the footsteps of the ninja.

rise of the serpentine + legacy of the green ninja - season one

the beginning. this is where everything starts. the first threat is introduced, the lore begins to get explained, all that stuff.

the ninja are rookies, being trained by wu. the new ninja are rookies being trained by lloyd (+co). the serpentine = beatrix + the dragon hunters. it seems like the big bad is garmadon, turns out its the overlord pulling the strings. it seems like the big bad is beatrix, turns out ras has been pulling the strings. lloyd unlocks his power and defeats the overlord, sora unlocks her power and defeats beatrix. a lot of these are just smaller, more basic parallels. but bare with me.

rebooted - season two part one

here is where the parallels get slightly more noticeable, at least to me. we have 'big group of evil people, being led by the one who was pulling the strings last season', aka the overlord and the nindroids in rebooted, versus ras and the wolf masks in dr. the overlords goal is to get out of the computer world, and regain a physical body/power, versus how ras + co want to bring back the forbidden five. the overlord needs lloyd to do this, ras needs bonzle to do this.

then, when all seems lost, when it seems that evil is about to win, someone stops it. zane sacrifices himself to destroy the overlord. bonzle uses a burst of her power to close the portal. both of them were treated as objects by the big bads, both of them sacrificed themselves in the end to stop evil from winning.

tournament of elements - season two part two

(idk if i should label this as spoilers for s2p2, i think its been out for long enough??)

this one is even more obvious. im pretty sure everybody noticed the parallels between tournament of elements / tournament of sources. we got the ninja go to a tournament not for the tournament itself, but to save zane/to find out who is behind the the archdragons deaths. roby and skylor with their evil family members. zane and cole trying to get escape chen, bonzle and kai trying to escape netherspace. the tournament was rigged and also someones stealing all the powers. but theyve been stopped, but someone has been lost (garmadon having to sacrifice himself / arin leaving for ras's side). overall, a ton of parallels.

possession - season three (or possibly just s3p1, we dont know yet)

arin. we all saw his character arc. he is directly. paralleling. morro. its painful how obviously history is repeating itself. season 3 is going to parallel possession. but this time, instead of it being that morro's story was in the past, this time it's arin's, and its happening in the present.

i think morro is going to talk to arin. we have the leaks/rumors that he is coming back. we see what is happening to arin. after everything, after morro finally redeemed himself, realized how painful the path he went down was, he would not want arin to do what he did.

this is where things have a chance to change. the ninja have a chance to realize the path arin is going down, a chance to stop history from repeating itself. they have a chance to save him before he no longer wants to be saved.

so anyways! 😁 thats my theory, ive had it for a hot minute but with the rumors of morro coming back/just generally more to back me up after part two came out i NEEDED to share this or else i would spontaneously COMBUST.
