Twisters: A review by a very nostalgic Twister old guy from the 90s.

I met up with the boys beforehand. 2 beers, an order of deep fried cheese curds. Keep it respectable.

We loved Twister back in the day. It was a staple in the college house VHS tape pile

This new one is a fun actioner

The main scientific conceit is preposterous, in line with the original. Respect.

There's a little Dorothy fan service

The 90s version used more animal growls for tornado sounds. That was better.

There's no Dusty. If you know, you know.

I love me a band of ragtag misfits. This one doesn't have that, much to its detriment

Soundtrack: Mark Knopfler and Stevie Nicks will always be better than whatever this modern country music bullshit is

i was thinking about that post comparing Jessica Rabbit as an asexual to Barbie and an asexual and then i thought of the Neil Gaiman post (was it a post?) about Crowley and Aziraphale being asexual sexless and then this happened.

They are so optimally shaped for maximal cuteness.#That's a creature that was designed to be fluffy and sit on things. What is there to *not* love!#I know there is more significance to the whole exchange but really...I think Lan Wangji deep down just wants to hold cute creatures.#His hands are big and gentle and not meant for swords! They are made to be filling rabbit hutches with fresh hay and petting chickens.#This is to say; Lan Wangji's problems could all have been avoided if he was a farmboy.#He can still be a farmer. a little preview of my first-semester senior thesis, Lady Cottontail: Knight of the Warren! It's a middle-grade graphic novel following a rabbit knight and her journey through multiple animal kingdoms to find her warren's kidnapped princess. this is just a taste of the full thing, which right now comes in at 46 pages for just act 1! I plan to continue it next semester of course but working on it for the last few months has really given me a new love for these characters. and a new hatred for drawing trees. i drew so many trees. anyway :) i hope you like it lol
