https://fortune.com/europe/2024/07/09/mayor-of-athens-overtourism-greece-not-viable-visitor-tourism-economy/
Nothing new but the Greek government should really invest on other aspects except from tourism. Like yes it's profitable but it can't be the only source of income alongside with agriculture.
OH MY GOD yes! Kudos to Haris Dukas for saying this, I suppose it's still a very unpopular and brave opinion among the politicians, who are known to care only for the short-term non-viable benefits.
I have a lot of feelings and thoughts regarding overtourism, given that I started this blog exactly because I am interested in the tourist industry, in touristic promotion in general.
A few days ago I scrolled through an article which was saying that some smaller country in Europe is getting more and more tourists and aspires to reach Greece's numbers by also competing with us over our tourists for a similar tourist product (beaches and sun) and there was this tinge of annoyance I felt because it's a cool country and I have been there but I have an opinion on this, so I was like somewhere between "bitch please" and "why, are we doing something wrong?". I mean, I wish the best for them but the annoyance was about kind of targeting tourists interested in Greece with cheaper offers and also because I am interested in this, the travel promotion of Greece, even as a hobby, so you know it sort of affects me, lol . But as I was scrolling down the article, I saw the other Greek comments and they were like "Good, let them go there and leave us in peace".
This gave me such a pause. It was one of the few times I found the comments shaking me towards their direction instead of making me angry or sad. I paused and thought, shit, they are actually right.
Let's be real, Greece does suffer from overtourism. Not only this but its overtourism is very disproportionately distributed in the country. Greece's travel product is also badly, old-fashionedly promoted (still the sun-and-beaches of the 70s which was only targeting Northern Europeans). All these create those masses of tourists following blindly the horrible itineraries of poorly informed, outdated travel agencies. Half of these people have no idea why they are coming and what they are supposed to be seeing and doing in every place.
I will go back to the notorious example of "Santorini is overrated and Greece has no trees" that you will hear a few of them say. You have people boarding a plane from the other side of the world to visit and stay on a half-submerged volcano crater and they are wondering where the forests are! People really have no idea where they are going and what for. Now this is a type of tourism we resolutely do not need. If you have to explain to someone what Santorini is AFTER they have gone there, everything was entirely lost on them, it was doomed from the beginning.
One of the most maddening videos I have ever watched was an American woman doing a travel video. She followed the AmericanTM tourist plan: she found a resort and just stayed there locked until the day of her return came. She also had just become a mother and she was dragging the baby in a different continent, only to walk it around the resort over and over. For some reason she made a youtube video for this. She didn't say anything negative but obviously if I knew nothing about Greece and I watched this, I would be like "wow what a boring place Greece is, you can't go anywhere, it's just a resort and a small market nearby". Is there really a need to overbuild the country with such massive resorts only to accommodate people who have no idea why they are coming and what they are supposed to do once they come?
Ultimately, tourism must NEVER be the main product of a country's economy. NEVER. It is very unsteady, unreliable business and when it starts doing too good, it means it will very soon ruin the country. The tourism industry must always remain steady, balanced and viable. There should be a predetermined viable percentage of area and investment that should be dedicated to tourism in every region and NEVER surpass those limits. In short, tourism should be only a side business for a country's economy and not the main thing. Even as a side thing it can become destructive. Look at how the Spanish and the Italians have started taking wild measures against tourism. There are literally protests in Barcelona with people asking tourists to leave to their face. We don't have this in Greece yet because for us it is our main industry so we still prioritise the financial need but it will soon happen here as well.
There is urgency to boost the first and especially the dead second sector in Greece. There is just no other solution. There is no light in the end of the tunnel. The first sector should not expand a lot (because its shrinkage the last decades led to the improvement of the once overexploited ecosystems, we do not want to undo this) but we should boost our produce's quality and its prestige in exports. Is there any Greek who hasn't discussed with their family that the local produce often tasted better than the imported one? Literally all of us. Greece can not produce in quantities but it can produce in quality. One example, I don't know if you know it; Greece sells olive oil to Italy and Italy rebrands it as Italian olive oil (which so far is more well known worldwide) and exports it internationally. This is an agreement between the two countries from which Greece gets fast and sure money and Italy covers deficits in the quantities required by its importers. All is well but Greece is once again getting the short end of the stick, because in the long term consumers who buy this olive oil and like it will form an affinity for what they think is the Italian olive oil and not the Greek one. Greece loses from the prestige it could perhaps have gained and it loses the chance to sell Greek olive oil more competitively for what it really is. Like, every choice we do as a state is a shot in our face. I don't know how we do it. It's a talent.
(BTW no bad feels to Italian friends, this is only critical of the Greek exporters' choices, both Greek and Italian olive oil rock but I am sure if the roles were switched and Italian olive oil was sold internationally as Greek, you would too maybe feel a little awkward about it.)
I won't even go to the second sector, I won't even go there. I will just say, whoever had PITSOS electric devices in their house in the early 90s ... is probably still having the very same devices right now as we speak. I know my parents do. PITSOS devices are what we call in Greek "bad dogs". They just don't ever break. At least not in the first 30 years of usage. Fortunately PITSOS re-opened but it will take ages for them to regain all the lost ground and even try to compete now with the foreign brands, even on a local level. And they have been so ruined that I can't tell their new products will be of an equal quality as the old ones. Greece had a lot of industries. It even had good fashion industries. It's crazy that it was much better self-sustained pre-EU. By the way, I am not blaming the EU or the tourists above. No, I am blaming the Greeks for getting worse and worse and worse at managing themselves.
Should I go to the merchant navy? Let's have a laugh. Greece is still miraculously the world leader in merchant navy with Greeks owning the 25% of commercial ships in the world. Of course, a few decades ago it was the 50% but we would certainly do our best to lose that. The problem is that most of the tycoons have left the country and have their bases in the UK and other countries due to a better tax system and they sail under different flags. The funny thing is that I was reading some articles and the president of the Greek tycoons was saying that they come constantly in contact with the Greek state to discuss all this, there is interest on their side to come back, to work things out but it's always to no avail. At this point, even the TYCOONS can't work in Greece!!! XD Top that. By the way, I am not concerned about how the ship owners will get by, trust me, but these businesses are always two-way relations. Imagine all the bases, all the shipyards, all the ship making, all the jobs in ship making and in the commercial navy. Imagine owning 25% of world's ships and NOT being an international leader in shipmaking. Plus, Greeks have historically and traditionally been seafarers, this is a quality of ours we should keep cultivating, even as part of our heritage, even for the heck of it.
We have destroyed all this and have thrown all our efforts to a badly planned, unstructured mass tourism. We are running towards self-destruction head first in every possible way. There are so many foreigners who are totally sold on the stereotype "Greece has no economy, never made anything". It wasn't like that. We had and still have fine produce. This is why Greek food is considered tasty. It's not having super complex, surprising recipes. It's the quality of the produce that makes Greek cuisine famed for being both tasty and healthy. We used to have good or at least very decent industries. I think apart from cars we were pretty self-sustained on most other things. And we used to have balanced, healthy tourism with travellers who knew why they came and they often came back again and again and even stayed for life after pension because they knew why they did it.
So, I am not against tourism, I will never be but it needs to become quality tourism again and a SIDE thing for us as well. When I say quality tourism, I do not mean luxe / expensive tourism because I hate the idea of a place being inaccessible to someone who truly desires to visit it, unless they are a millionaire (let alone that luxe tourism would also stop locals from travelling inland, which already is happening) but tourism needs to become intentional again. Meaning, a tourist should be a traveller, an explorer. They should understand what they come for and take their time to explore the country properly, with respect and genuine well-meaning interest to the best of their ability. By the way, this should apply for every country. And this is honestly the safest way you can have an authentically good experience in a new country.
As for those smaller countries which try to reach Greece's numbers, well, good luck for the five years until your country gets utterly ruined.

Excerpt from this press release from the Department of the Interior:
Today, the Departments of the Interior, Agriculture, and Commerce released a report outlining recommendations to enhance community-led economic development by creating jobs in the sustainable forest product sector and outdoor recreation while supporting healthy, resilient forests. This report was developed in response to climate change impacts, workforce and housing shortages, and barriers to intergovernmental coordination in rural forest-dependent communities and builds on President Biden’s Executive Order on Strengthening the Nation’s Forests, Communities, and Local Economies (E.O. 14072), which he signed on Earth Day 2022.
The report’s release comes during Climate Week, as the Biden-Harris administration continues demonstrating its commitment to addressing the climate crisis.
America’s forests provide millions of jobs and underpin local economies, particularly in rural communities. The Biden-Harris administration is mobilizing historic resources to help these forests and communities thrive. Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, and Great American Outdoors Act—in addition to annual appropriations—the Administration is providing historic funding for wildfire risk reduction, innovative forest products that create jobs, restoration and forest management to help our forests better withstand extreme weather events, outdoor recreation investments such as campgrounds, and research and development programs. The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management’s 21st Century Blueprint for Outdoor Recreation, USDA Forest Service’s Reimagine Recreation initiative and Department of Commerce’s U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation program are also advancing public lands management and the outdoor recreation and tourism industries, for the benefit of current and future rural communities.
Today’s report provides recommendations to further these efforts by encouraging greater collaboration among federal agencies to deliver the resources and services that rural, forest-dependent communities need and to foster economic resilience.
The report proposes fostering community resilience by better connecting communities with the many existing tools to navigate climate-based risks in a way that also builds sustainable economic development and healthy forest practices. In addition, coordination across the federal government and with partners can help communities tap into existing resources to pursue their economic development plans and address bottlenecks or barriers to delivering support.
The report also emphasizes how forests benefit underserved communities, including Tribes, which are disproportionately affected by climate impacts. For example, the Interior Department and Forest Service's Equity Action Plans seeks to enhance Tribal co-stewardship and promote equitable access to cultural and recreational opportunities for all communities.

─── ⠀ ✿ ˒ ⠀ ❪ SOLARIA GARDENS is a fictional entertainment company, founded by KANG SEONHEE in 2007. solaria was the latter of the two subsidiaries of GEMINI INC., which was a conglomerate founded by APRICUS CULTURE’s ceos, JEONG KARIN and kang seonhee, in 2000.
after her experience as an idol in the first-generation group, INOIR, seonhee aimed to make a company that protected their idols from toxic fan culture as well as toxic company environments. despite it being her most vocal passion since leaving inoir in 1998 and through the founding of gemini inc., seonhee wouldn’t go on to establish her own company until 2007. even in 2007, after the establishment of solaria, the company mainly focused on buying contracts from pre-existing groups and revamping their public images and freedom as artists. girl group RIVETING, which debuted in 1998, had their contract bought out by solaria garden in 2007 and became the first artists under the company. because of the standard solaria gardens exhibited, they started to be known as “the group savior." a few months later, they acquired the contracts of the once-boy group MUNDANE, who originally debuted in 2005. solaria gardens went on to reunite the full group for a one-off album and individually signed all the previous members of maturity.
the company's first group was ET/DEUX, which was a female duo, both of whom trained with gemini for three years before being signed specifically to solaria. this began the elusive solaria training program, which has often been labeled as elitist by the press. in 2009, solaria only had 3 original groups, and with the help of ENTVISS ceo WILLIAM KIM, solaria gardens launched a trainee program called PROJECT: SOLEIL, which included an instagram page for trainees to show fans their progress and a tv program that showed the inside of the solaria training program. even now, their training is focused on refining the skills of trainees from gemini that suit the solaria gardens image, which includes perfecting vocal and dance skills as well as fitting each trainee into the solaria gardens space concept. as of now, the company has gone on to debut every solaria-specific trainee. after many years of william kim’s involvement in solaria gardens, in 2011 it was announced that he and kang seonhee had been married for over a year and that he’d be going from an investor in the company to a co-owner while also being gemini’s head of pr. it is rumoured by any news outlets and business insiders that william has always been the brain of the operations, while seonhee is the heart, which is evident by the couple's close-knit relationship with all of their artists.
other than the obvious gemini-level talent from all of the solaria artists, solaria gardens is mostly known for their in-depth company lore, which intertwines all of their artists into a bigger picture story about space and stars, which all of their artists promote. quoted by seonhee, " the storytelling isn’t because we want to confuse fans; it’s because we value family at solaria, and the story really brings our talent together. " for seonhee, the family dynamic of solaria is the goal, and the ceo is known for forcing groups to go on hiatus when their chemistry dwindles.

Brazil expects record number of foreign tourists this year
Fake news related to Brazil are one challenge in attracting visitors, minister of tourism says
Brazil received 4.9 million foreign tourists between January and September this year, 12% more than in the same period in 2023. Just last month, there were 445,400 international visitors, the best result for September since official records began in 1989, according to data from the Ministry of Tourism.
The plans to boost the tourism industry in the country, the potential to be explored, and the goals already set for the sector were the topic of a live session held Monday in the series “Caminhos do Brasil,” an initiative by the newspapers “O Globo” and Valor, and the radio station CBN, sponsored by CNC, Sesc, Senac, and their federations.
To discuss the topic, Celso Sabino, minister of tourism; Marcelo Freixo, president of Embratur; and Ana Carolina Medeiros, president of the National Council of the Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies (Abav), were brought together. The session was moderated by Glauce Cavalcanti, journalist of “O Globo,” and Marcello Corrêa, Valor’s coordinator in Brasília.
The agenda included topics such as strategies to enhance the promotion of Brazil as an international destination, the development of new products and tourist regions in the country, as well as opportunities for generating employment and income. A relevant part of the debate also involves the issue of sustainability, considering the social, economic, and environmental impacts of tourism activities.

LSM was literally a money launderer.... the good music will follow an idol no matter where they go if they are talented. so you shouldn't be worried if jaedo leaves sm. if you are a fan, you need to be by their side, not sm's. what if sm doesn't pay them too? if sm was scamming CBX out of their money you don't think they are doing to other artists? if i remember correctly LSM was hoarding all the wayv money for himself 😭
I'm not on SM's side, I don't work for them, and I'm not a company stan.
I'm also a freelancer, a person who prefers financial instability to working for a company and following someone else's rules. Never lasted more than a year in an institution.
You, fans who cry your faves need to leave their company this instant, are very naive and detached from reality. Many of you don't even yet pay taxes or feed a family.
Good music doesn't follow nice idols. If it was so, the talented yt singers and indie artists would have showered the world with bangers and got money from their talents. Instead of singing covers in local bars and their tiny yt channels. Somehow it is "factory produced" pop-stars and rappers instead who get famous.
There is no "dating app" for producers. You need to know people, have connections, or be the one everyone sends their demos to. It was hated by the fans Chris Lee who travelled around the globe and collected all those European and American producers. It is SM's money and reputation that makes aspiring Korean producers send them their tracks in hopes of being chosen.
There are very few songwriters among idols. Even fewer idols who can be a manager or a CEO. There are more than 3 hundred idol companies in Korea, and only 5 or 7 are really successful. Even Pledis with self-producing 17, an idol group second only to BTS in popularity, was bought by Hybe (i.e. they had to sell themselves otherwise they couldn't continue).
Look at Jessi. She is very talented, she is good at variety, she knows a lot of people in the industry, she writes her own songs, and she struggles non-stop. She was scummed by one of the people who she hired, an orginiser for her concerts in Europe.
Look at Kang Daniel. He was and stays one of the most popular idols in Korea, he is a phenomenon. He opened his own company, he works like a horse on tv programmes to promote himself. And even his album sales started to go down.
2019: 500,134 copies sold
2020: 603,961 copies sold
2021: 320,114 copies sold
2022: 404,261 copies sold
2023: 171,552 copies sold
Where is Chungha?
I'm not saying it is impossible to become famous on your own, or that staying with one's company is always the best choice. No. It's business. Both sides use each other. Being a part of a big company has its downsides. Being independant or a part of a small company also has its downsides. SM is not strong in acting area, so leaving it as an actor (D.O.) or musical actor (Kyuhyun) makes sense. When it comes to idol music though?
You mentioned CBX.
On June 3, Ten Asia announced that Baekhyun has established his own company called "I&B100" and founded it on June 23 of last year before the issue of renewal contracts with SM was raised. Baekhyun will continue to work "separately and together" with SM through his own label during the contract renewal period. On June 19, SM and the three members announced that both parties had resolved their differences over contract dispute and the members had decided to stay with the agency.
Why the talented and super famous Exo members "resolved" their differences instead of leaving the hateful company? Because they are not stupid. They fought for their rights and improved their terms, but they still need SM's resources, the money that participation in Exo will bring. Baek's company is a production company. He can safely run it, make trial tests, learn the craft. And only later, when everything is running smoothly, when he gained reputation and trust, he can go into real independant sailing.
OK. Doyoung or Jaehyun leaves SM today. Where will they go? JYP? YG? The most famous and successul current soloists are Taeyeon, Baekhyun, Taemin (SM/Kakao), IU (Kakao), BTS guys and PSY. PSY has his own company, but Jessi left him, Hyuna left him, his boy group released only one EP and dissapeared. He is a bad producer and CEO, apparently.
Open their own companies? Doyoung didn't even finish school. He wants to be a CEO one day and he will. However, right now he has neither the capital, neither the fame to pull it off. Everything he gained was through SM. It is not enough to find a good song. You need investors who will pay for your MVs, you need album distributors and streaming platforms, you need PR managers who will look for tv-appearence opportunities and BA deals. You need translators and editors for YT content. Will Doyoung find them all on the street? With tens of years of experience under their belt?
NCT got their own centre. The right way for Doyoung is not to leave SM, but seize this centre, get producing and creative control over it, get all the executives under his thumb.
Different idols suit different companies. Soyeon wouldn't be given the free reign over her group in SM. It's because Cube failed with CLC, they risked it and tried to trust her talent of a producer. G-Dragon wouldn't become G-Dragon in SM either. And 17 became self-producing because Pledis was postponing their debut, didn't have money. On the other hand, Taeyong wouldn't have become Taeyong outside of SM. If Soyeon is a dandelion capable of growing through concrete. He is a capricious rose in need of a glasshouse.
SM is a company built by its artists as much as by the staff behind the scene. The older idols walked for newer idols to run. Taemin had to fight for the right to have more influence on the production side of his albums. Key fought for his vision. Kai invested his own resources. Seulgi and Taeyong? Practically produced their first albums. Shinee, even 127 gave out snacks to their first fans to slowly build a fanbase. Riize sold their single 1mln+ and are on top of brandrep after half a year after the debut.
Compare Hansol and Sungchan. One left. One stayed. Where are they now?

KinnPorsche is my first view into BL fandom. Every time BOC announces something the comments from many fans are all about what they want instead and how the announcement is bad for the artists they have. Wtf? This level of entitlement from fans who have no insight into the actual business or plans is so disheartening. Is this normal? Like they announced a tour date for HK and people are like why another tour date, we need a series, we need the artist to be actors etc. Do they think making a series costs nothing? Do they not recall we got 14 WHOLE amazing episodes? It all breaks my heart.
Hey, I don't usually talk about fandom drama but sure I'll bite since time it's about business and I guess there's going to be new people coming in once in a while (hopefully!) wondering about why the fandom is so messed up.
Anyone who doesn't want to hear about the merry-go-round of drama from the last 6 months, should probably bow out.
So it's a bit of a multi-fold problem.
(1) You're right about the entitlement, but part of it is because many fans are coming from a background of engagement set by kpop where there is so much contentification of the idols' lives and their work schedule is really unsustainable and harmful.
Fans will hear that and go "boohoo the company is abusing them!" and then turn around and demand an insane level of content/access and not put two and two together... In fact, some fans named kpop agencies as better talent management companies when they headed to KPWT Seoul like many of those agencies aren't notorious for working their idols/trainees to the bone. It's inheriting a set of expectations from a toxic industry where the core content also is smaller/more bite size (songs vs. whole series).
(2) BOC is an extremely young company and are facing growing pains. Some things they've done from the KPWT promotion and talent management side are genuine missteps that need to be corrected. For example, they announced a KPWT date in Vietnam and then later had to cancel the date after it was apparent the scheduling was too tight. In the cancelation of the date, they also misspelt the name of the city (HCMC), which was named after a revered leader in Vietnam. Fans had already started booking travel/hotels around that date so it was already a cause of inconvenience and fans felt even more upset because BOC refused to apologize for the misspelling. Some of it now is genuinely fans being overreactive, but a not-small part is friction that was built up from missteps BOC made earlier, and thus is now leading to fans feeling sensitive whenever they feel that they are being slighted.
A lot of fans already decided they dislike BOC so there's no incremental improvement BOC can make at this point to win them back. But there genuinely was a lack of comms/PR leadership and planning by the company in the middle of this year.
Somewhere in the middle of these two - fans feeling like BOC does not take care of their artists and the lack of socmed/PR/comms leadership is the Daemi problem. feel free to search "kinnporsche daemi" on YouTube to learn about that. I know at least one person made an explainer video and I'm not also interested in talking about it.
(3) BOC is also competing within the Thai BL industry with GMMTV, which produces the majority of BLs that air in Thailand. Again, this is a problem of expectation setting. GMMTV is a well-oiled machine that consistently turns out bad to mediocre to acceptable products like clockwork. BOC served a single Michellin-star quality feast, but fans are looking at GMMTV and going "They're going to McD's five times a week" as though those two experiences are comparable.
(And a horrible machine in some ways -- it was recently exposed that an assistant director was using his powers to predate and he was arrested so like, fans really need to ... not hold GMMTV as the standard).
I'm not saying fans' expectations are valid. They are not. But a lot off fans were on BOC's side during the airing KPTS and had been rooting for them, and there is an explanation for why some fans now have unfavorable feelings towards them. The fact that they dug their heels in and refused to apologize / openly acknowledge improvements are needed when they made obvious missteps made a lot of people who generally feel neutral about them like myself not that inclined to stand up for them in other instances. Combined with toxic industry standards coming from other fandom (kpop) and industry (Thai BL) angles, it's not really surprising to me that this is where we got to.

How Is A Film Advertised: Things You Should Know About Advertising A Film
Marketing a movie is no simple task, but we’ve got some strategies and creative ideas to shed light on the entire process. Many film companies have successfully employed these tactics to promote their movies. In recent years, there has been a lot of buzz around movie promotion and marketing. It’s crucial for a movie to be marketed effectively to reach as many people as possible. Producers must dedicate ample time and resources to promote their films. After all, how can you expect tickets to sell if people aren’t aware of the movie? If ticket sales fall short, the movie could end up being a flop. Timing is a key factor in movie promotion, and getting it right is essential. Therefore, you need to be aware of some strategies that are mentioned in the section below going for film advertising.
What Is Film Marketing?
Film marketing is the strategic process of promoting and advertising a movie to its target audience. It involves creating awareness, generating excitement, and ultimately driving ticket sales or viewership. Film marketing encompasses various elements, including trailers, posters, social media campaigns, press releases, premieres, and partnerships with other brands or media outlets. The goal is to build anticipation, engage the audience, and ensure a successful launch for the film in theaters or on various distribution platforms. Effective film marketing is vital for a movie’s commercial success in a competitive entertainment industry. Unlock the Power of Film Marketing and Advertising in India with Khushi Ambient Media Solutions. Elevate your brand’s visibility and connect with your target audience like never before. Let’s make your cinematic dreams a reality. Get in touch with us today to start your journey to movie marketing success.
Identifying potential partners enthusiastic about collaborating on film promotion
Whether it’s a big-budget blockbuster or an independent film, establishing partnerships with various brands and celebrities is essential for an effective movie marketing strategy. To promote blockbuster movies, official collaborations or unofficial product endorsements play a vital role. When a producer has the support of a strong celebrity presence, they can leverage the celebrity’s vast social media following to boost the film’s promotion. For instance, consider Salman Khan, who commands a staggering reach of approximately 70.2 million people on Facebook alone. Associating with such influential celebrities on social media significantly broadens the film’s audience base, creating a substantial platform for movie promotion. These partnerships enable the film to rapidly connect with a massive audience in a relatively short period, amplifying its reach. Join hands with Khushi Ambient Media Solutions today and unlock the potential of your brand’s advertising success. Let’s create memorable marketing campaigns together. Contact us now and let’s make your brand shine.
Some notable brands that have proven to be effective partners in this endeavor include Nokia, known for its innovation and global reach, which can help create captivating mobile campaigns to engage audiences. 93.5 Red FM, a popular radio station, provides a platform for extensive on-air promotions, enhancing the film’s visibility through its wide listenership. Lux Soaps, with its association with glamorous stars, can add a touch of allure to movie promotions. Make My Trip offers opportunities for travel-related tie-ins, tapping into the wanderlust of potential viewers. Lastly, Close Up Toothpaste can provide a fresh and vibrant angle to promotional activities, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Partnering with these esteemed brands can bring diverse and impactful marketing strategies to the table, contributing to the movie’s overall success.
Harnessing the power of online platforms to engage and captivate a wider audience
Marketing agencies serve as the swift and expert solution for building a fresh fan base within the film industry. Through paid marketing, a film can swiftly gain recognition among a vast audience in a short span. Leading marketing agencies effectively present the film in the market, employing advertising strategies across television, online platforms, radio, and more. These agencies represent a contemporary avenue for promoting movies, leveraging their capacity to connect with diverse audiences across multiple platforms. Elevate your brand’s success with Khushi Ambient Media Solutions which can be your Partner for Film Marketing and Advertising in India.
Establish Your Distribution Channel
Don’t overlook the potential of offline channels when promoting a film. Building offline distribution networks is a fantastic strategy to captivate fans. This approach involves the dissemination of tangible materials like stationery documents and personalized printed items to engage audiences effectively.
Organizing engaging quizzes and contests to captivate and entertain the audience
Engaging in contests and competitions online stands out as a highly effective method for boosting audience participation. These activities strike a perfect balance between offering low risk and promising high rewards. Contests consistently ignite excitement and generate buzz on social networking sites, providing a significant advantage when it comes to promoting a film. For example, ahead of the release of the movie ‘Mary Kom,’ the producers orchestrated a pre-launch contest on Twitter to promote the film. In this captivating contest, the fortunate winner had the incredible opportunity to meet Priyanka Chopra and enjoy a screening of the movie alongside her. This approach represents one of the most ingenious advertising strategies employed for blockbuster films.
Engaging actively during press conferences
Press conferences represent one of the most influential tools for generating publicity. They play a crucial role in shaping the audience’s perception of a film. During these events, the press conducts interviews with key actors and directors involved in the movie. The primary challenge lies in skillfully and effectively engaging with the press. In addition to journalists and media outlets, social media influencers and fans are also invited to attend these gatherings. Another effective marketing strategy involves organizing mini-press junkets in major cities to promote the film. This approach allows fans to interact directly with the film’s star cast, creating a more engaging and personal experience.
Showcasing Of Trailers
Movie trailers are essential in sparking excitement among the general public for an upcoming film. They are distributed through various channels, such as television, YouTube, and social media platforms. Additionally, you can catch them on the big screen during intermissions or before the main feature begins when you visit the theaters. For avid movie enthusiasts, these trailers are not only entertaining but also intriguing. They serve their purpose effectively by generating anticipation. Many people still prefer to catch a movie on its opening day, and these trailers play a vital role in spreading the word and igniting excitement throughout the masses. Elevate your brand with Khushi Ambient Media Solution today and captivate your audience like never before.
At Khushi Advertising, we specialize in creating impactful marketing partnerships with the film industry to help you achieve your desired results. Through our collaborations with leading production houses and blockbuster movies, we provide a unique opportunity to introduce your product or service to a national and global audience. Our approach is rooted in the idea of how brands can shape consumer behavior, influence their choices, and seamlessly integrate into the narrative of a story. Our primary strategy and ultimate goal revolve around presenting and promoting your brand to the audience in a way that enhances visibility, recall, and resonance.

Digital Marketing Tools
Digital marketing: What Is It? The use of digital channels to promote goods and services to customers is referred to as "digital marketing." Websites, mobile devices, social media, search engines, and other channels with a similar function are used in this kind of marketing. With the introduction of the internet in the 1990s, digital marketing gained popularity.
Emblix Acedemy is the best training institute and provides best Digital Marketing Tools to get professional.
Digital marketing is frequently seen as an additional strategy by businesses to reach customers and comprehend their behaviour. It has some of the same ideas as traditional marketing. Traditional and digital marketing strategies are frequently combined by businesses. However, unconscious prejudice is one of the unique issues that face digital marketing.
youtube
KEY LESSONS Marketing to consumers via digital channels, including as websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms, is known as digital marketing.
Internet marketing, which only takes place on websites, is distinct from this type of marketing.
Digital marketing deals with luring clients using email, content marketing, search engines, social media, and other channels. How to stand out in a world that is overrun with digital marketing advertisements is one of the main issues that digital marketers confront.
Implicit bias is one of several problems with digital marketing.
How Does Digital Marketing Function? Marketing is the term used to describe the activities a business engages in to advertise its goods and services and increase its market share. It takes a mix of sales prowess, advertising knowledge, and the capacity to deliver items to end customers in order to be successful. Marketers are experts who perform these duties either internally at businesses or externally at marketing agencies.
Traditionally, businesses concentrated their marketing efforts on print, television, and radio. These choices are still available, but the internet caused a change in how businesses interact with their customers. Digital marketing became useful in this situation. Websites, social media, search engines, and apps—anything that combines marketing with consumer feedback or a two-way connection between the business and its customers—are all used in this type of marketing.
Companies were driven to alter their marketing tactics by emerging technologies and trends. In the early years of digital marketing, email rose to become a common marketing technique. The focus switched to search engines like Netscape at that point, which enabled companies to tag and keyword products to stand out. Companies are now able to track data and respond to consumer trends because to the growth of websites like Facebook.
Nowadays, businesses can sell themselves, their goods and services, and themselves to consumers more easily thanks to smartphones and other digital gadgets. People prefer utilising their phones to access the internet, according to studies. In fact, a Pew Research Centre research found that more than 75% of American adults frequently use their phones when shopping.
1) Interactive digital marketing is frequently utilised to target particular client base groups. Receivers and Sources Advertisers are frequently referred to as sources, and the people who get customised advertisements are known as receivers. As McDonald's did with shift workers and travellers, sources frequently target very particular, well defined receivers.
The business used digital advertisements since it was aware that these customers constituted a sizable portion of its late-night business and used digital gadgets. McDonald's targeted them with adverts displayed at automated teller machines (ATMs), petrol stations, and websites that its consumers frequently visited, encouraging them to download the Restaurant Finder app.
Channel Types for Digital Marketing
As previously mentioned, print (newspapers and magazines) and broadcast (TV and radio) advertisements were the traditional methods of marketing. These channels are still in use today and still exist. Digital marketing platforms have changed and are still changing. The eight most popular digital channels that businesses can use to strengthen their marketing efforts are listed below. Remember that certain businesses could employ many channels in their endeavours.
Website Promotion
All digital marketing efforts revolve around a website. It is a very effective channel on its own, but it also serves as the platform for a number of different web marketing efforts. A website ought to convey a brand, a product, and a service in an understandable and memorable manner. It should be quick, simple, and mobile-friendly.
Paid-Per-Click Promotion
Paid advertisements can be used by marketers to target internet users on a variety of digital platforms thanks to pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Advertisements for goods and services can be displayed to users who are conducting searches on Google, Bing, LinkedIn, X platform (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, and Facebook using PPC campaigns set up by marketers.
These ads can target users specifically based on their hobbies or geography, or segment users based on demographic traits (including age or gender). The two most widely used PPC systems are Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
Content Promotion
Reaching potential customers by using content that appeals to them is the aim of content marketing. The typical process for promoting content is to publish it on a website and then use social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation, or even pay-per-click campaigns. Blogs, ebooks, online courses, infographics, podcasts, and webinars are some of the content marketing tools.
Email Promotion
One of the most successful digital marketing methods is still email marketing. Email marketing is not the same as spam email, despite the fact that many people think it is. Companies can connect with prospective customers and anybody else interested in their brands and products with this sort of marketing.
Many digital marketers add leads to their email lists using all other digital marketing methods. They then develop client acquisition funnels employing email marketing to convert those prospects into paying customers.
Use of social media
A social media marketing campaign's main objectives are to increase brand recognition and foster interpersonal trust. As you learn more about social media marketing, you can employ it as a channel for direct marketing or sales as well as lead generation. Twitter and promoted posts are two instances of social media marketing.
Affiliate Promotion
One of the earliest types of marketing is affiliate marketing, and the internet has given it new life. Influencers who use affiliate marketing to promote other people's products are paid every time a lead or sale is generated. Millions of dollars are paid out each month to websites that sell products from numerous well-known corporations, including Amazon, through their affiliate programmes.
Video Advertising
One of the most well-known search engines in the world is YouTube. Before making a purchase decision, many internet users visit YouTube to learn something new, read a review, or just to unwind.
To launch a video marketing campaign, marketers can choose from a variety of platforms, such as Facebook Videos, Instagram, and TikTok. Integrating video into SEO, content marketing, and more extensive social media marketing efforts helps businesses use it most effectively.
Text Messages
Companies and nonprofit organisations use text messaging, also known as SMS or short message service, to tell clients about upcoming sales or to provide them with possibilities. SMS marketing campaigns are another tool used by candidates for political office to promote their platforms. With the development of technology, many text-to-give initiatives now enable donors to make a direct payment or contribution by sending a short text message.
Digital marketing is distinct from internet marketing. Digital marketing can occur through mobile devices, on a tube platform, in a video game, or through a smartphone app. Internet marketing is advertising that only appears online.
Digital marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
It's important to keep in mind that key performance indicators (KPIs) are used by digital marketers just like they are by traditional marketers. KPIs are quantitative means for businesses to assess the effectiveness of their marketing over the long term and gauge how they stack up against the competition. Corporate plans, financial objectives and successes, operational activities, and even marketing efforts are all areas that can be measured.
Some of the most popular KPIs that marketers can utilise to assist businesses in achieving their objectives include the following:
Blog Posts: This KPI can be used by marketers to determine how frequently a business publishes blog posts each month.
Clickthrough Rates: Businesses can use this KPI to determine how many email deliveries result in clicks. This covers the quantity of recipients who open emails and click links to complete transactions.
Conversion Rate: This metric concentrates on call-to-action marketing campaigns. These initiatives solicit people to take specific activities, including making a purchase of a good or service prior to the expiration of a deal. By dividing the total number of requests made by the number of successful engagements, businesses may calculate the conversion rate.
Social media traffic measures the volume of interactions with business social media pages. Likes, following, views, shares, and/or other quantifiable activities are included.
Website Traffic: Marketers can monitor how many people visit a company's website using this indicator. This data can be used by corporate management to determine whether the layout and style of the website influence sales.
Challenges in Digital Marketing
For its practitioners, digital marketing presents unique difficulties. Digital marketers must stay current with how these channels operate and how users interact with them as they proliferate quickly. To effectively sell their goods or services, marketers must be knowledgeable on how to leverage various channels.
Because recipients are being overwhelmed with more and more competing advertisements, it is getting harder to hold their attention. It can be difficult for digital marketers to analyse the enormous amounts of data they collect and then use that data to create fresh marketing initiatives.
The difficulty of properly acquiring and utilising data emphasises the need for a marketing strategy based on a thorough comprehension of customer behaviour in digital marketing. For instance, it can be necessary for a business to employ various methods, such as website heatmaps, in order to understand the customer journey and emerging patterns of consumer behaviour.
Even when marketers and businesses take every precaution to prevent it, implicit bias still manages to find its way into digital marketing. The term "implicit bias" describes attitudes and preconceptions that are formed unconsciously.
Algorithms are crucial when businesses create their marketing plans since they form the basis of digital marketing. These algorithms are frequently developed with the goal of being objective. However, the outcome isn't always what was intended.
This is thus because different people, such as engineers, developers, data scientists, and marketers, all of whom have implicit biases, code algorithms. This implies that they might unintentionally programme, input, and modify data.
Even adding stock images or videos to a campaign can introduce implicit bias. Companies could accidentally utilise photographs and films of heterosexual White people while ignoring Black people, Native Americans, and people of other colours, as well as persons with varied body forms and abilities.
A digital marketing agency: What Is It?
A company that specialises solely in marketing to consumers via digital platforms is known as a digital marketing agency. This include developing and implementing campaigns for business clients across a variety of platforms, including social media, pay-per-click marketing, videos, and websites.
What Does SEO Mean in Online Marketing?
Companies can use search engine optimisation (SEO) to drive more traffic to their websites with the aim of having their names and websites appear at the top of any search results page. This can happen while using editorially chosen or organic search results. Companies' names and websites are more visible to customers when SEO is successfully integrated into their digital marketing plans.
Internet marketing: What Is It?
Any form of marketing that only occurs online is referred to as internet marketing. This indicates that it only appears on websites. It is distinct from digital marketing, which also encompasses internet marketing, social media marketing, and mobile app marketing. Mobile phones, digital gadgets, and other platforms can all be used for these marketing campaigns.
Why Should I Work in Digital Marketing?
Along with data analytics and social media expertise, digital marketers need to have good writing abilities. For the majority of jobs in digital marketing, a bachelor's degree is required. These jobs can be found in business-related fields like marketing or closely connected ones like communications. You might also choose to enrol in bootcamps or courses for digital marketing. Additionally, it may be beneficial to complete an internship while still a student.

Hamza Moosa Kambi Dubai Strategic Partnerships - Accelerating Business Development through Collaboration
Strategic alliances are emerging as an effective catalyst for rapid business expansion and elevated corporate development in today's correlated business environment. Organizations can capitalize on shared resources, expertise, and networks to tap into new markets, foster innovation, and strengthen their edge over rivals. They can do it by forming mutually profitable collaborations with other companies, NGOs, or even government agencies. The blog Hamza Moosa Kambi Dubai – How a Professional Can Solve All Your Business Development Woes discusses the importance of strategic alliances and how they can help companies grow rapidly via cooperation.
Expanding Market Reach
One of the major advantages of strategic alliances is the opportunity of tapping new markets and client groups. Businesses that merge with a similar partner have access to an existing clientele that would otherwise be challenging to break into. For example, an artificial intelligence-focused technology business can proactively partner with a larger company to gain exposure to its client network and industry connections. This partnership not only widens market reach but also offers prospects for sales and client recommendations.
Sharing Resources and Expertise
Strategic alliances allow businesses to combine their resources, talents, and specialization for mutual benefit. Businesses can significantly decrease expenses, accelerate product development, and optimize operations by collaborating on resources such as technology, infrastructure, or intellectual property. Partnerships with businesses that have relevant skills and expertise could create a culture of growth and creativity.
Accelerating Innovation
Businesses that partner on research and development initiatives may harness different perspectives, professional talents, and innovative technology to create game-changing products and services. Also, strategic partners can share industry data, consumer feedback and establish trends, enabling both sides to identify and react to new business opportunities.
Mitigating Risk
Another major advantage of strategic relationships is risk minimization. Businesses can effectively communicate and handle risk by creating alliances with companies that have similar risk profiles. A startup, for example, with limited resources and a customer base, could partner with a well-known company to reduce financial risks and obtain credibility.
Similarly, collaborating with companies operating in different geographic areas or sectors may assist with risk diversification and safeguarding from market downturns or changes in regulations.
Strengthening Competitive Advantage
By collaborating on joint promotional campaigns, branding projects, or distinctive merchandise packages, businesses can profit from each other's public image, consumer loyalty, and market placement. Alliances like this enhance brand recognition and offer customers an impression of added value.
Conclusion
In a highly connected and competitive corporate world, strategic alliances have grown into a viable approach for advancing business success via collaboration. By broadening their reach and integrating resources and skills, organizations can identify clean possibilities for growth while handling challenges more efficiently. Remember that strategic relationships are not an answer that fits all. Each partnership ought to be carefully analyzed and incorporated into the organization's goals, principles, and future vision.

More than 20% of the villages in Bulgaria have a serious problem with crime. However, according to the "Village Life" platform, over 100,000 people have moved to the countryside in recent years since the pandemic. And a survey shows that 60% of Bulgarians in Germany intend to move to a Bulgarian village in the next year or two. This was announced by the founder of the platform, Ivaylo Vatovski.
According to him, villages need budgetary autonomy to solve their problems.
About 45,000 transactions for properties in the village have been concluded in recent years since the pandemic. Thus, about 100,000 active residents have moved to the village, but in most cases they encounter serious problems there - says Ivaylo Vatovski:
"Quite a mess, starting from an infrastructural point of view, through the fact that some villages don't have electricity, they have problems with water supply. From my conversations over the last six months with mayors and people who live there, these are perhaps the more prominent problems, including crime, which is present throughout the country".
The lack of budget and autonomy is one of the reasons that hinder mayors in solving these problems. The platform also works to overcome rural unemployment by collecting and promoting job offers:
"We will try in this direction to develop this and encourage more and more companies to attract more people, to be willing to give more flexible working hours, be it in the city, so that people from the villages can travel. The other thing is, so that the people from the villages themselves can have some kind of exchange of goods and services, since in many of the Bulgarian villages more and more of the people who return there start to do some local production, small business".
