Always There - Chapter Five: S.Snape

Summary: Y/N Potter was left with a baby to care for after her brother and sister-in-law were murdered by Voldemort. One person was there for her, a person she didn’t expect but soon became her comfort person, Severus Snape. During Harry’s third year at Hogwarts and her third year as Herbology professor, a few old friends come around again. Y/N has to handle the feelings of these old friends being around again as well as handle her feelings for a certain potions master all while she tries to hide these things from her godson.

Although Y/N and Severus never made anything official, the word spread around Hogwarts like a wildfire. It had gotten to the point of students asking Harry for details about the pair even though he knew just as much as they did. In the middle of Y/N’s lesson about wolfsbane, somebody's hand shot up in the air. Theodore Nott, one of the most intelligent students she had met, a pureblood Slytherin who was friends with Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini and Enzo Berkshire.

“Yes, Mr. Nott, you have a question?” The professor called on her student. She had hoped he was going to ask a question about the lesson but deep down, she knew that his question had to do with her and a certain broody professor.

“I certainly do, professor. Are you and Professor Snape together? He’s been awfully cheerful lately. I quite miss the Snape that had a stick up his arse,” Theodore Nott, he was a massive pain in her ass. She did have to admit that his comment was quite funny however, she had to suppress a chuckle before having to reprimand the boy.

“I hope you know I will be taking 5 points from your house for foul language as well as detention with both Professor Snape and I tonight, Theodore. And to answer your question, that is certainly none of your business. What is going on between Professor Snape and I is our business and that’s all,” She told the boy, his smirk falling once she took away house points and gave him detention. No matter how much the boy bothered her during lessons, she had never once given out detention or taken away house points.

Another hand went up this time, it was her nephew. “Yes, Harry, please tell me that this question or statement has something to do with the lesson and not my personal life?” She practically begged her nephew.

“Well, no. It has nothing to do with the lesson-”

“Great, then let’s get on with the lesson!” She cut her nephew off in a cheerful tone before returning to teaching her students about the deadly nature of wolfsbane to humans. About five minutes in, the door to the greenhouse opened and closed, footsteps approaching. She knew just by the sound of the steps that it was Severus. When he came into view, the students all turned around, smirks coming onto the faces of the Slytherin student’s faces. “This is going to become an interrogation isn’t it?” She asked her students. All of them replying ‘yes’ in unison.

“What is going on here?” Severus asked Y/N as he approached her desk, “Sorry for the interruption, I just need a few ingredients for my store.”

“I was being interrogated by one of your students as well as my nephew. They want to know if there is anything going on between us since you’ve been incredibly cheerful as of late,” She explained to him.

“We might as well answer some of their questions instead of leaving them in the dark.” Y/N gave Severus a look of surprise, she was not expecting him to want to answer any of the students' questions about their private life but she was wrong. “However, if any of you ask any inappropriate questions, you will be receiving detention and house points will be taken. Now if you have questions, raise your hands.” Practically the whole classes hands’ went up in the air.

“Let’s start with Hermione,” Y/N said, knowing the girl would be respectful.

“How long have the two of you been together?” The girl asked.

“Not very long, however, we’ve been at each other’s sides for the last 12 years,” Y/N answered, then pointing to the next student.

“Why her, professor?” Draco asked Snape, his voice sour with disgust, “Why a Potter?”

“That will be a detention and 5 points taken from our house Mr. Malfoy. I chose her because she cares about others and she is the most selfless person I’ve met in my life. I don’t care that she’s a Potter, I don’t care that her brother was a bully, I only care about who she is and she is the most intelligent, loving and caring person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting,” Severus explained, his voice softening when he began talking about the woman. The girls in the class all collectively cooed at the words Severus had just spoken. 

“That was absolutely disgusting,” Y/N said, “But I loved it.” Severus then picked the next student to ask a question, his choice was calculated, knowing it would end the conversation about the pair.

“Mr. Longbottom, what is your question?” Severus asked the boy.

“Can we return to the lesson? I’m very happy for the two of you but I was quite enjoying the lesson,” Neville explained his reasoning, the class groaning.

“Everyone relax, Neville is right, we need to get back to the lesson before class is over. What we told all of you today is all you need to know for now,” Y/N explained to the class, “Grab what you need, honey, you know where everything is.” 

“Thank you love,” Severus replied, going to the cabinet in the back of the classroom that held all of the harvested ingredients. He grabbed everything he needed and as he walked towards the exit of the greenhouse he stopped for a moment, just to listen to her talk, taking a seat on one of the many stools around the room. He stayed on that stool until the end of her lesson, watching the students file out of the classroom one by one. 

“You stayed,” She commented.

“I did,” He replied back, “I just wanted to hear your voice.”

“You are such a sap. It’s official, I have made the fierce Severus Snape soft!” Y/N joked with a bright smile on her face.

“I am not soft! You saw me, I took points away from my own house! I never do that!” He defended.

“And why did you take points from your own house, honey?”

“Because Malfoy is a pest and he insulted you.”

“So it was a defense for me, which in turn, means that you are soft.”

“Think what you want to love, I am not soft.”

“Also, that reminds me, Theo has detention with the both of us tonight as well.”

“Why did Nott get detention?” Severus asked her, his head tilting slightly in wonder.

“He said he misses when you had a stick up your arse, his words, not mine. But I will say, you did have a stick up your ass for a long time.”

“Why you little witch!” Severus exclaimed, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her body into his. “So I had a stick up my ass, I wonder who must’ve pulled it out?”

“Perhaps it was Remus, you two have been awfully close lately,” She teased. 

All that could be heard outside of the greenhouse was laughing coming from the pair, students who were sitting outside got a good listen to what Severus Snape’s laugh actually sounds like. Of course, word about the interrogation held in the greenhouse had already started to spread around the school. Students coming up to Harry to ask questions about what was happening between the potions master and the herbologist. Not only was Professor Potter happier, but also Professor Snape. The two of them being more lenient when it came to mistakes in the classroom, as well as just being more pleasant on the side of the potions master.

The school year quickly came to an end, summer coming and going in a flash. Most of the summer Harry had been at the Burrow with the Weasleys and Herminone. Arthur had gotten tickets for the Quidditch world cup and had agreed to take Harry and Hermione along with his children. Y/N and Severus had been out together, going to apothecaries and greenhouses the whole day when they got word that there had been an attack at the world cup. The dark mark appearing in the sky and death eaters returning to their old ways. Y/N had been scared half to death and apparated with Severus to the Burrow where Harry, Herminone and the Weasleys were holed up.

“My boy! Are you okay? Did any of you get hurt? What happened?” She quickly questioned, her head spinning with worry until she finally embraced her nephew. “My Godric, I’m so glad that you’re okay. I’m glad that all of you are okay.”

“I’m going to go find Albus and update him about everything. I’ll see you very soon my love,” Severus told the woman.

“You can’t stay? We have another day until we have to be back at Hogwarts!” She asked him, trying to convince him but she knew he couldn’t stay.

“I’m afraid not, darling. I promise you that everything will be okay, you’ll be safe as will Harry. I must go to Albus and tell him everything that happened tonight,” Severus replied, his heart breaking slightly watching her expression fall. He didn’t want to leave her here, even if it was only a day, they had barely spent any time apart during the summer. He knew that this would upset her but he needed to tell Albus about the dark mark and the return of the death eaters. Severus needed to tell him about the dark mark on his arm getting darker by the day.

Y/N had let go of her nephew and pulled Severus into a tight embrace. “Please be safe, Severus. I know why you have to go, I’ve noticed it too. I love you,” She spoke quietly in his ear.

“I love you, darling. I’ll see you tomorrow, I promise,” Severus replied, giving the woman a quick kiss before apparating away from the Burrow. The dark lord was getting stronger, how? They had no idea but with the mark on Severus’ arm getting darker everyday, it was something to worry about. Something big was going to happen soon, the dark lord was going to return. He was going to return soon.

Harry Potter & The Hunger Games

Draco Malfoy

tribute from the first district, became a volunteer. Malfoy trained a lot, almost from birth, to participate in the hunger games.survived in the arena due to his status and strength. he gathered a small company consisting of other pros, so they easily reached almost the very finals, without fear for their lives. was among the top three winners. was killed by the winner.

Pansy Parkinson

tribute from the first district, volunteer.the girl trained for many years, like many children from her district, to participate in the games. she was confident that she would win, but was killed by her boyfriend. entered the top three winners, was the last one killed by Malfoy.ㅤ ㅤ

Theo Nott

guy from district four, a pro.was randomly chosen in the harvest, which he was not disappointed about. he expected this. Nott specifically wrote down his name dozens of times.was on the same team with tributes from the first and second districts and was killed by a Draco blade at night in his sleep.ㅤ

Blaise Zabini

also a volunteer from the second district, a pro.Made friends with Draco and Pansy from the very beginning. Initially, he began to communicate with them in order to simply get rid of them in the end and remain a winner, but he became a victim of the arena, which he did not expect at all. remained in the top five winners.

Alright so I'm a huge marauders era fan (obsessed) so and LOVE the Pantheon (Slytherin Skittles) so here are my:

DORCAS MEADOWES HEADCANONS

I love Dorlene, first of all, and think that they are so perfect. I also find it weird that the fandom looked at two random dead characters and were like "ship", but I'm here for it.

Blaise Zabini's aunt. This is my personal headcanon-that-I'm-working-to-make-canon, and I feel like this connects her a little more to the original book series. This will be explained in the following dot points:

Dorcas is a hundred percent a half blood, which pisses so many people off, but after making an example of some dude in first year, nobody messes with her. Especially after becoming friends with both Regulus AND Sirius Black.

Blaise Zabini is definitely a pureblood Slytherin, but trust the process, this is a little bit all over the place.

So Selena Zabini (Blaise's mother in this thing I've got going on in my mind) is the daughter of this other Zabini guy, and is about the same age as Narcissa.

This Zabini guy had an affair with this muggle Meadowes lady, so she gets pregnant and whatever, having Dorcas. The Zabini guy takes Dorcas, as the Meadowes lady doesn't want her and is poor-ish. The Zabini guy says that Dorcas is a cousin sent to live with them from Germany.

For about 3-5 years, Dorcas grew up with Selena and the Zabini's (angst potential), before Selena's mother finds out who Dorcas is, and gives her to her mother before disappearing.

Dorcas and her mother do not have a great relationship, and Cas grew up a lot like Blaise did, taking on her mother's last name and having to see her mother go through boyfriend after boyfriend.

However, Meadowes the elder gets rich through all these men, employing a variety of techniques like blackmail, manipulation and getting sugar daddies. So, yeah. This means Dorcas gets a nice big house for when her friends run away from their homes in AU's. :D

Anyways moving on from that thing that I just did.

My fancast for her is Stacey Dash but in Clueless. This is just one of them, there are others but I can't be bothered to name them. Picture below.

Reluctant fighter for Dumbledore, being a Slytherin, she spots his manipulation from a mile away, and is still hurt by his favouritism.

Hates dogs, hates Sirius, in honour of Reggie. She eventually warms up to him though, in spite of Reg joining the Death Eaters, but feels like a traitor whenever she laughs at one of his jokes. He feels the same.

Her and Pandora's friendship becomes tense when the boys join the Dark Side, Pandora refusing to help Gryffindors who have hurt them all their lives kill her friends, and Dorcas feeling so hurt that her friends would help kill people like her.

She loves anything shiny or sparkly, and has a huge chest for jewellry that she collects.

Drinks coffee with no sugar but a spoonful of chocolate and half a teaspoon of vanilla.

Gaslights like a pro.

So many toxic relationships before finding out she was a lesbian. Spoiler alert, she was the toxic one.

Brushes Marlene's hair when they get time to themselves while Marlene rambles on about some random Quidditch team.

Obsessed with the radio, no matter what is on it, whether it be talk shows or music.

Dresses up as old witch and spies for the Order in Knockturn Alley. Hates it, but she's good at it.

Severely underestimated by everyone, no matter what side their on, except for her old friends.

Luna's godmother!!!!

Denies being an animal person, but is obsessed with foxes. Has fox jewellery, stickers, pens, anything fox related.

Where does Pansy fit into all of this? She and Draco are on first-name basis and she shows a lot of care for him. What was up with that relationship??

@indigo-scarf I have read several of your metas about Pansy and read your Dransy fanfics. Why couldn't Draco see Pansy as a close friend?

“This is Crabbe and this is Goyle”: friends on last name basis?

How characters refer to one another is important in the Harry Potter books. The most blatant case for this is the main antagonist: Tom Riddle calls himself “Voldemort” to reflect his ambitions; his followers call him the “Dark Lord” out of reverence; the general wizarding population calls him “You-Know-Who” out of fear; Harry learns to call him “Voldemort” out of bravery; and Dumbledore keeps calling him “Tom” to dismiss his pretensions of grandeur.

Other examples include Lupin calling students by their first names because he’s the cool teacher; Lupin calling Snape “Severus” to be petty, while Snape calls Lupin “Lupin” to be petty; Draco calling his dad “Father” because he’s so posh; and of course, “Malfoy” and “Potter” highlighting the animosity between Draco and Harry.

In this context, the fact that Draco and the other Slytherin boys always call one another by their surnames serves to illustrate the kind of relationship they have, and to emphasise its contrast with Light Side friendships — an opposition integral to the story and especially to Draco’s character.

When Draco offers Harry his friendship, he introduces his colleagues and himself by their last names:

“Oh, this is Crabbe and this is Goyle,” said the pale boy carelessly, noticing where Harry was looking. “And my name’s Malfoy, Draco Malfoy.” (PS6)

This shows that even when Draco hopes he and Harry will have a good relationship, Harry is expected to call them “Malfoy”, “Crabbe” and “Goyle”. That is how Draco addresses his closest people (and reciprocity seems implicit):

“Crabbe,” [Malfoy] said. “Midnight all right? Well meet you in the trophy room; that’s always unlocked.” (PS9) “ — and he hit Goyle — look — ” (GF18) “I thought so,” [Malfoy] said jubilantly. “I heard Goyle’s trunk hit you.” (HBP7) “I would’ve had Crabbe and Goyle with me if you hadn’t put them in detention!” (HBP15)

Even when they think they have privacy, the Slytherin boys stay on last name basis:

“You know I haven’t, Goyle, how many times do I have to tell you?” snapped Malfoy. And even in the most vulnerable moment in Draco and Crabbe’s relationship, when Draco is in shock over Crabbe’s death, it’s still:

“C-Crabbe,” choked Malfoy as soon as he could speak. “C-Crabbe...” (DH31)

Such choice of surnames over first names adds to the portrayal of Slytherin as a stand-in for British public schools (where even true friends might avoid first names), but specifically in the Harry Potter world, it also reflects a particularly cold dynamic.

It is established throughout the books that Slytherins are are allies at best, not friends. There are two scenes that tell us how Slytherins operate in their natural habitat, when they don’t know Harry is spying on them, and neither is warm at all.

In year two, Hermione says Crabbe and Goyle are “Malfoy’s best friends” (CS12), which suggests she assumes they have a relationship not unlike the Trio’s — but that assumption is raised only to be subverted.

When Harry and Ron are disguised as Crabbe and Goyle, they find out that Draco constantly insults them, “snaps” at them, and demands specific reactions to what he says (CS12). 

In year six, in the Slytherin train compartment, Draco and Blaise compete to out-haughty each other, and “Goyle and Zabini were snarling at each other” (HBP7).

They don’t befriend people they like; they associate with people who come from pure bloodlines, or who can offer some kind of advantage. They see the world in terms of hierarchies, and surnames label people according to their social standing — which is what defines how they should be treated.

On the flipside, while surnames are a marker of prestige, first names are a tool of humiliation. This is the only time in all seven books when one is used among Slytherin boys:

“‘Must mean’?” Crabbe turned on Malfoy with undisguised ferocity. “Who cares what you think? I don’t take your orders no more, Draco. You an’ your dad are finished.” (DH31)

The power of the “Malfoy” name was the reason Crabbe kept Draco company. Now that that power is gone, he’s just some guy called “Draco”, so Crabbe drops him.

Growing up in such a cold environment is an essential part of what defines Draco’s character: it shapes his personality, his relationship with Harry, and his role in the story.

Draco has never had connections based on anything other than boasting to elevate himself and being spiteful to diminish others — and that’s what leads to Harry’s initial dislike of Draco at Madam Malkin’s, as well as the pivotal handshake blunder.

After that, a huge contributing factor to Draco and Harry’s unshakable animosity is Draco’s envy of the Trio. Not only does Draco hate being rejected in favour of Ron and Hermione, but he also resents that he can’t have what they have.

If Draco had real, first name basis friendships, he probably wouldn’t dedicate his entire school life to being a hateful bully, and he might not be so desperate for truly fulfilling validation as to seek it from Voldemort.

Que se passe-t-il si Ron savait coudre ? Je veux dire, ce n’est pas délirant : sa mère sait tricoter, j’ai envie de croire qu’elle sait coudre aussi, et elle aurait eu l’envie d’apprendre à Ginny parce qu’elle pense qu’elle devrait savoir faire ça (Molly est traditionnaliste malgré elle, mais elle apprendrait à n’importe lequel de ses garçons qui en manifesteraient l’envie)

Maintenant on a Ron, qui a à peine un an de plus que sa sœur et qui est souvent exclu des jeux de ses frères car ils sont tous bien plus grands que lui et que les jumeaux sont toujours collés ensemble. Il aurait assisté aux leçons de sa mère avec Ginny et, contrairement à Ginny, aurait adoré ça. Pourquoi ? Car 1) il fait plaisir à sa mère 2) il s’occupe 3) il est patient. Bref, tout ce que n’est pas Ginny, qui a détesté devoir apprendre à coudre alors qu’elle n’a pas le droit d’aller sur un balais.

Vous l’avez ? Alors songez maintenant à Blaise, qui adore dessiner et qui adore la mode… mais qui ne saurait pas faire un ourlet pour sauver sa vie. Il dessine ses vêtements de rêve, songeant avec ironie qu’il a assez d’argent pour acheter n’importe quel vêtement mais que les seuls qu’il veut ce sont ceux qui n’existent que dans sa tête. Il se dit qu’un jour, il sera créateur de vêtements. Il embauchera un couturier et enfin, enfin il pourra porter les vêtements qu’il voulait et avoir son propre style.

Maintenant, imaginez un Ron Weasley en formation d’auror et un peu perdu se promener dans un parc, réfléchissant à sa vie. Imaginez-le passer derrière un Blaise Zabini très concentré à dessiner et imaginez Ron jeter un coup d’œil au dessin avant de se stopper net. Durant tout Poudlard, Ron a recoud les vêtements de ses amis, a appris à Harry et Luna comment coudre, a même réalisé le vêtement rêvé de Hermione : une jupe avec une énorme poche pour pouvoir mettre un livre. Il adorait coudre mais il n’avait pas assez d’imagination pour coudre de lui-même quelque chose d’original. Il préférait largement faire ce qu’on lui demandait et s’appliquer à ce que ce soit bien réalisé. Et là, alors qu’il était en train de se demander s’il ne faisait pas la plus grande erreur de sa vie en s’engageant dans les aurors, il voit Blaise Zabini dessiner des vêtements qui n’existaient pas encore. Des choses originales et excitantes, des choses qui ne demandaient qu’à être réalisées. (Par sa main.)

Je ne sais pas comment ils se sont abordés, je sais en revanche comment ils sont tombés amoureux : dans l’effervescence de la création, quand Ron créait et que Blaise voyait enfin ses idées réalisées. Blaise essayait, corrigeait, réinventait pour avoir la pièce parfaite. Puis Ron en cousait cinq ou dix et Blaise les revendait dans un coin de la boutique de Pansy et Luna (une boutique qui n’avait rien à voir avec les vêtements, elles vendaient des potions médicinales et des pierres)

Quand Blaise avait commencé à se faire un nom, il se battit bec et ongles pour être embauché comme styliste. Il finit par être embauché par la gazette, ce qui lui permit d’habiller toutes les stars qui allaient se faire interviewer par ses vêtements…et comme l’essayer c’est l’adopter, lesdites stars allaient ensuite le voir pour d’autres vêtements. Blaise acheta des locaux pour faire son propre magasin et supplia Draco de penser la décoration intérieure suite à la magnifique décoration que le blond avait lui-même choisie à son mariage et que Blaise, évidemment invité au-dit mariage, avait adoré.

Ron et Blaise avaient trouvé leur dynamique dans le travail mais ils peinaient à séparer pro et perso. Tout tournait toujours autour de l’entreprise fleurissante qu’ils étaient en train de créer. Ou plutôt, que Blaise était en train de créer. Ron se sentait à nouveau dans l’ombre, inutile, remplaçable. Tout le monde pouvait faire ce qu’il faisait. Blaise n’avait qu’à claquer des doigts et il trouverait un autre couturier en moins de temps qu’il n’en faut pour que Draco insulte Harry dire Quidditch.

Ce fut précisément le mari de Draco qui mit les points sur les i en prenant Blaise entre quatre yeux. Harry Potter-Malfoy connaissait son meilleur ami par cœur et il ne voulait pas que Blaise refasse sans le vouloir les mêmes erreurs qu’Hermione et lui avaient déjà faites sans le savoir. Blaise ainsi mit au courant et à moitié menacé de mort s’il ne changeait pas immédiatement la situation, Ron Weasley eut la surprise de se faire inviter au restaurant et de parler de tout, sauf de vêtements.

Petit à petit, ils trouvèrent leur rythme et Ron se sentit aimer pour lui-même et non pour ce qu’il savait faire. Ils adoraient aller à des restaurants sorciers très luxueux et aux pizzerias moldues beaucoup moins luxueuses. Ils aimaient les soirées Quidditch et adoraient aller regarder les matchs de Ginny. Ils détestaient se balader mais adoraient faire du kayak. Ils aimaient voyager en all inclusive et aller au buffet à volonté cinq minutes avant que ça ne ferme. Ils aimaient jouer au tennis ensemble et ils initièrent les Potter-Malfoy afin de pouvoir jouer en équipe. (ils le regrettèrent immédiatement car à partir de ce jour, ils ne gagnèrent plus jamais un match. Harry et Draco étaient les plus gros try-hardeurs de l’univers)

R B Z devint une marque fleurissante et populaire pour la qualité de ses vêtements et l’originalité de son style. Blaise put enfin s’habiller comme il le voulait, Ron avait un métier qu’il aimait, Draco devint l’effigie de la marque et tant qu’à faire, Blaise embaucha Harry comme photographe. La vie n’était pas si mal.

Hi this is "severitus with alive Jilly au, unboxing horcrux gone wrong". I'm not going to write this because it will take time and those ideas are basically my good bye letter to this fandom. It's a little painful for me but I know I cannot stay in this fandom anymore. There are obviously more reasons but the main one is because this has been a central part of my childhood and I feel like I just cannot let it be a part of me for an unknown amount of time. I might return to it later in life but this is technically my goodbye to my childhood and me saying hello to adulthood officially (this is also why I'm staying an anon, I don't want to be associated with this fandom anymore, I want a clean break). This took a sad turn, but anyways, returning to the au.

The rest of the week is kind of a blur everyone is panicking, we're sleeping in the Great hall, my parents come over and for some reason my dad asks what did I do to scare her off and is disappointed to find out I didn't do anything, she just kinda ran away after hearing Ron. My mom is kind of silent, she doesn't say anything, just asks if I got hurt "or something" (why did she say it like that does she not love me anymore?) and they just kind of leave after that, not making sure I was actually okay I wish Auntie or Peter were here instead of them

Snape did make sure I was okay, he gave me a cookie and a awkward head pat. Professor Lupin actually tries to talk to me, I appreciated that, he even offered to tutor me in any spell I wanted and I don't think any of us was expecting me to take up that offer. I had a dream where I couldn't cast a spell, it was called a Patronus and it apparently works against dementors, considering I still can't go outside without hearing children being tortured by a woman in a orphanage (I asked Tom about it and he apparently did grow up in an orphanage and we're his memories, I'm still not sure why am I hearing them but okay, sure, normal Tuesday shit for Harry Potter), I also know that Tom approves of this choice my soul was warmer that usual

Things go of as usual, aunt Petunia actually sends me an owl and that is a big step because usually hates owls.

I may not like being treated like I'm made out of glass by the rest of the school but I gained a new friend, Hermione, she is a little condescending and a little bit too nosey but she is super loyal and is willing to talk about things that Ron isn't ready for yet, like politics and bullies and the unfairness of being put a label on and being expected to act a certain way and how the wizarding world treats those they deam beneath them and how cute Blaise Zabini is and how hot Lavender is becoming. Though she is weirdly against dark magic and I am too, I think, but she takes it to a whole new level and now we are researching dark magic and how negatively it affect our society. I win three to one pro-dark magic.

School goes on and I have a bet with Ron and Hermione about the date of Snape and aunt Petunia's wedding because Spane handed me a letter from my aunt one morning and the Weasley twins said they saw a hickey of Snape's neck. I bet around summer after fifth year and summer before the forth year. Who cares I wasted twenty galleons, I'm rich, especially after my godfather dies.

I master the Patronus charm and leave everyone flabbergasted when I used it spontaneously on a dementor on my way to Herbology.

Somewhere in a tower towering over the school a batty old teacher named Trelawney said in a thousand voices that weren't her own but were: "That boy might as well save himself for Death if he is going to provoke him so, Death always loved a challenge." To bad the only person there to witness that didn't have any idea what that meant and thought that Trelawney was high and made a sexual joke so he laughed, like any 14 year old would, and went back to cleaning fake cristal balls.

The year ended so we went back home and I will spend the first month with my aunt and then head back to my parents. A scream is heard along the train and then another one and another one. Students are running along the hall so I get out of the compartment to see what's going on and a decapitated head (a boy in the year above me, a Hufflepuff), drenched in blood, lands at my feet (the only person who remebers what happens when you peak Death interest the only person who can begin to guess Harry's fate) with a a loud smacking sound and I look up from the blood filled floor and look into the eyes of a faded beauty, Bellatrix fucking Lestrange, in all her twisted glory.

The smiles at me, it's a gentle smile, it's the smile that a mother gives her child when their being endearing or funny, it's surprisingly... fond. "I finally found you again, my beautiful little doll." He grabs my collar with surprising force and forcefully drags me to a corpse filled compartment and the last thing I see before the window shatters behind me is her motherly smile.

'At least I can't lose the bet when I'm dead' is my last thought before pain erupted from my head and my back as hundreds of glass shards find their painfull home in my back.

Sorry for the wait, it took me 45 minutes to write this to make it quality to make up for my drunk ramblings last time, and don't worry, despite the cruelty I'm putting Harry through, he'll survive it somehow, he's a though little cookie.
