i feel like i'm in a groundhog day-esque nightmare in which i wake up in panic, drag myself out of bed, get an oat milk mocha, do bar prep all day, come home, and sleep, just do it all over again the next day..... trying to stay optimistic 😃 when i was in college, all i wanted was to get into a good law school—and now i've graduated from a great law school and i'm studying for the bar!!! past me would be so THRILLED!

#i tried studying at home the past 4 days and it was actually IMPOSSIBLE #i just kept napping throughout the day or wandering into the kitchen to eat something and not study #ive been to this cafe so many times that all the baristas recognize me and even give me extra punches on my punchcard #it's not rly a cafe - more like a public working space w a cafe nearby. im always surrounded by college students studying for the mcat #tea-tuesday #studyblr #mine #studyspo #study inspiration #study #studying #study motivation #b*r pr*p

The sight that greeted Victor Rookwood as he exited the Hog's Head that fateful evening would be forever ingrained in his memory.

The street was dark and eerily quiet, and the dapper wizard had just taken a few steps outside the seedy pub before he realized something was amiss, causing him to stop abruptly and survey his surroundings.

"Lumos."

Continued below...

At first, Victor was more disoriented than anything - unsure that he could trust what he was seeing with his own eyes. The dark wizard blinked a few times in confusion before, slowly, he began to make sense of the gruesome display before him.

Heaps of... dirty rags? Someone has made rather a mess, it seems. . .

No. That's blood.

Blood and worse.

Before him was a scene of utter carnage the likes of which he'd never seen. A slaughter. The lifeless bodies of several young witches were splayed out in the middle of Spire Alley, a spectacle so macabre that even the dark wizard, well-accustomed to death, felt his stomach lurch at the sight.

A ginger witch lay eviscerated. Another's golden hair fanned around her angelic face like a halo. A brunette was positioned face down in a pool of her own blood. A strange-looking witch with odd-coloured hair... Victor shuddered as he recalled that one. He remembered her as having been particularly annoying.

And yet more still.

Sisters in death. Some he recognized outright, a vague familiarity to the rest. Their faces - doubtless once beautiful, now befouled by their own blood. Twisted limbs at grotesque angles. Internal organs now decidedly external.

Gods..

And in the center a... survivor? Victor tentatively stepped forward, perhaps even to offer a helping hand, as the pale witch clad in black gazed up at him adoringly.

"Victor.. I did it for you. For us."

Rookwood watched, horrified comprehension dawning on his face as the witch released a bloodied dagger she'd been holding. He barely registered the sound of the steel clattering to the cobblestone over the pounding of his heart.

"I love you, Victor."

Tbh a huge amount of the issues MHA has could have been fixed had Bakugo just been expelled from UA in the first season or not gotten in at all

#izuku's other friends like ochako tenya etc could have gotten more screentime and development #the todoroki arc wouldve had more space to flesh out all the siblings and give shouto a more obvious personality #the precedent of excusing abuse wouldnt be there so i think ppl would be less sympathetic to endeavour which is GROSS #aizawa and the rest of the ua staff look better as teachers as theyre not just letting a pr nightmare and bully run around unchecked #the 'bakusquad' can be given more space to be their own characters and bond wo being rotted by their attachment to bakugo #shinsou could have actual development instead of being one dimensional and annoying and grow into his potential as izuku's rival/foil #less bakugo screentime also means more time for the plot to develop #and im hoping the characters could develop their abilitie sin unique and more consistent ways wo the constant need to make bakugo the best-#screwing everything up #including izuku keeping his analysis abilities etc #thats just off the top of my head #izuku midoriya #bakugo katsuki #anti bakugo katsuki #anti bakugo #mha #my hero academia #mha critical #my hero academia critical

i think its also bc most ppl doing these hcs in alternative/“progressive” fanspaces are either straight women or transmasc and gay/perhaps bi men and so dont personally relate at all to the concept of lesbianism or transfemininity so its immediately impossible because u cant put urself in the shoes of said character anymore

#like we forget how few ppl are lesbians and/or trans women even in these type of gay/trans fan spaces and ppl who arent part of these groups #typically have no stake pr interest in including us in a tangible way let alone in like . silly theoretical fan concepts based on self #gratification

Putting up an update on this. I have two scenes/chapters/stories already completed with a third being planned/worked on. If anyone is interested in reading, please, feel free to let me know. Still waiting until I have more before I share it on AO3.

I've decided to start working on a little project. I've already written one Power Rangers in Space fanfic which involved a kind of self insert OC. If anyone is interested in it, I would be happy to share the AO3 link to it. This new project, though, is an In Space alternate universe. One that will feature some details that have changed to make at least one character worse than they were in canon as well as a completely different OC.

This project, so far, is going to be a collection of one shots. Random scenes/situations that happen to come to mind. As of right now, I have one story already written. Until I have more, I'll wait to share them on AO3. But if any fellow Ranger fans are interested in reading it and any future stories, I would be happy to share them here on my tumblr.

Needing a Sua perspective from the ALNST auditions to Round 1. I never put much thought into what happens to the cast post-Anakt Garden graduation (do they immediately go to the auditions? Is there a period of time where they dont see each other until they recognize each other at the audition? Theres a considerable amount of time between the auditions and their Alien Stage season, did they see each other often between then or...? etc.), but regardless, imagine being her and having to choose between sabotaging your own audition so you dont have to go the the Sing, Win, or Die Show or putting your in your all in hopes of winning and spending just a bit more time with this girl you love because you know itll likely be the last time you see her. Imagine...
