How Turbo got interested in Fast (in a nutshell)

i love hammertastic because to me, it’s a relationship that got better before it got much worse. there was a time where turbo never could have imagined himself getting two games unplugged, or attempting to murder a child. he may have always had his head up his own ass but he really did just used to be a jerk and nothing more.

when dating felix, they were both probably happy for a time, but turbo’s deep rooted issues with jealousy and attention hogging would get harder for felix to ignore, along with the negative affect it was having on the handyman. and let’s be honest. i think at least back in those early days, felix himself was not yet emotionally mature enough to fully understand that he could not fix turbo. he never thought of turbo as just a jerk because he could see the good in him. and for a while, i think maybe even turbo saw it too.

but it just wasn’t gonna work out. i think turbo is the one who ultimately pushed away, frightened by the prospect of being genuinely close to and vulnerable with felix [or anyone really]. and felix was sad for it, but by that time probably could see it was for the best. even still, felix wanted a friendship with the racer, and maybe that carried on to some extent. but turbo made everything as weird as possible in his efforts to scramble away from commitment [to felix and to bettering himself] so . Byeah

anyway i’m gonna be late for class but uhhh yeah just needed to mind barf there for a sec

I finally finished my Turbo cross stitch charm set! Kinda. I still have to figure out a color for turbo’s border so it isn’t just plastic frame. Might make a third one of him standing with his trophy too.
