the headlights in front of you wink out of existence. the streetlights overhead the only indication that you're moving through the fog. you yawn, unable to keep the sleepiness at bay as you journey home. cars parked along the street grow more and more sparse as you pass side street after side street, waiting for the light that signals your turn is coming up. the rowhouses of the city give way to short square buildings, and though your brain is sluggish it's not quite diminished enough to ignore that glaring disruption.

you stop at a red stop light.

the cross street is devoid of any other drivers.

your usual light is a T intersection.

you blink at the red glow of the light and the thick fog in front of you.

your car is silent.

a low static begins to fill the air and with a slow movement you lean to turn your radio off.

the light is red.

you drag your gaze over to the cross streets light.

red.

your arms begin to feel heavy as you watch the light on the crosswalk blink.

blink.

blink.

no count down to zero just the slow blink.

blink.

blink.

you pull your gaze back to the light.

yep, still red.

silent and-

someone knocks on your window.

you blink some of the exhaustion from your eyes, shake your head as you suck in a full breath and return to your senses. You look at the man who's bend down to smile into your window. His blue eyes are a welcome distraction from the red light.

his sclera are as white as his teeth, and there's a scar that cuts his hair line with a gnarled pink.

he taps again.

you roll down the window.

"Hullo!" he says.

"hello." you respond. "can I help you?"

"Aye," he nods, "Ahm afraid Ahm lost, dinnae ken mah way around town."

"oh." you frown. maybe he's a tourist.

"Dae ya ken where ya are?" he asks.

do you?

the light is red.

this is a cross street.

your light is a T street.

do you know where you are?

would you feel any more awake if you did?

"i think so." you tell him.

"Could ya take me to-" he rattles off an address that sounds like gibberish.

it hurts your head.

"i- maybe?" you wince.

you keep your foot on the brake as he walks around to the other side of the car and opens the door.

there's mud caking his boots, the bottom of his trousers.

fatigues, your fatigued brain supplies.

like the army.

or one of the other ones.

there's something red caked under his fingernails.

and holes in his shirt like it's been torn.

your skin prickles with chill.

you reach to turn the heat up.

he smiles and you turn back to the red light.

"Ah bet your legs have something between them." he says.

your muscles strain like they want to shake.

you don't move.

"what?"

"The nurses," he says, "they're like mannequins."

you turn your head to look at him.

the light that casts jagged shadows over his face it green.

there's something black dripping from his nose.

"Drive." he tells you.

you take your foot off the brake, and turn to watch the road as you press on the gas,

and something heavy smashes into the side of your car.

Luis Serra in Silent Hill au

I saw that many of you liked it and truthfully, I‘ve thought about this a lot. So I wanted to share some of the monsters I’ve come up with for him.

Dead Weight is a monster that represents Luis in his struggle to let go of the idea that he is responsible for the death of his grandfather. He feels he could have done more, he should have protected his grandfather from the wolf, he could have stopped his grandfather from being burned alive by Mendez.

Because he will not let go, he is unable to cope and move past this childhood tragedy.

It also represents him holding onto guilt for having brought so many horrors to the world.

The monster’s limbs are heavy and therefore it is slow moving, but the damage it deals when it attacks is great.

It is a common enemy

Torsos is a monster where two humanoid upper halves are fused together by the waist. It can be found walking around on all fours similar to an animal, or it can stand and attack upright. This monster represents the duality of Luis’s character wherein one half is a version of himself that he WANTS to be. He wants to be a good person, a hero, a person worthy of love and trust. The other half represents the person he believes he actually is. A villain, a corrupt scientist, someone who will never be good.

The damage this enemy deals is moderate, but it is FAST on all fours

And the last one I have here I’ve named Lances Body (that sounds dumb now that I read it so idk I might change it lol)

This monster has a spider-like appearance. Another creepy crawly type, this monster represents the villagers of Valdelobos that fell victim to the plaga :< many of which became mutated as a result. The limbs are elongated and sharpened to a point to ironically symbolize the “Lance” used by Don Quixote and the pipe used by Luis.

They also symbolize body horror, again a reference to the plaga mutation.

The humanoid figure represents the tormented villagers having succumbed to the plaga influence. It is in a constant state of pain and as such, it can produce an ear piercing shriek that stuns its enemy temporarily.

This is a boss enemy and it deals great damage with its long sharp limbs

These are just three monster I’ve come with idk if they look or seem silly XD but I’d love to hear about any monsters that you guys come up with :3 just for funsies.

In this au, there are also allusions to Don Quixote throughout the town, one idea for this that I came up with is that the other world would have a lot of slow moving giant rusty industrial fans to represent windmills.

I continue to think about and maybe I’ll come up with more monsters and PUZZLES EVEN? I’m hyper fixed beyond belief XD

Silent Hill: Gone Turbo

HE IS HERE AND HE IS HERE TO SUFFER!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I will now tell the tale of this silly little guy ✨

In this Au, Litwak’s arcade is located in Silent Hill.

This event happens after the road blasters incident and after the Arcade closes temorarily for a while. 

Turbo and the Twins never survived the Road Blasters incident. But the day the arcade closed, Turbo was reborn inside the arcade in human form. Turbo wakes up seeing the arcade empty and confused as to why he’s inside an empty arcade. The cabinet games were looked to have been shut down (in the real world the cames are still plugged in and still running). Turbo’s memory of his life and what he had done has been erased. He only remembers his own name the Twins, Glitching and the town he lives in. 

Turbo exits the Arcade and wanders the ghost town and takes time to get used to the environment and take time to think and all that stuff. Turbo eventually comes to the theory that the Twins are probably somewhere in the town and decides to go out and find them. In the typical Silent Hill fashion, He runs into monsters, people who are also looking for someone or something, people who want to kill him and all that stuff.

During Turbo’s journey he learns more about the town, The Order, the fire incident and just about anything there is to know about the town. 

The twins ARE present. But the’re only visibly seen by Turbo and are not there for him for any good intentions. The twins exist in the Town as demonic spirits to Turbo to torment Turbo, ofc Turbo doesn’t remember what he has done until later and would live the rest of his human life in guilt and regret after defeating the twins. 

Turbo would finally understand why he was reborn in the town. The monster infested town is his Hell. And he has to forever live in it until he finally accepts what he has done and forgives himself for it and promises himself and the arcade to be a better person. 

There are Four endings you can choose from bassed on how you would like the ending to be.

Turbo moves on and forgives himself and decides to be a better person and forgive himself on what he has done. Turbo in this ending decides to find Litwack and help him through harsh times becoming his close friend and help him run the Arcade.

Turbo never forgives himself and forever blames himself for what he has done to hurt his twin friends that he was close too like they were his siblings (Turbo and the Twins are not related) and other people (even before the Road Blasters incident). He decides to forever force and drown himself in his sorrows, guilt and pain. forever live in the alternate nightmare of the town that is his Hell. Forever.

The UFO ending (if you’re a Silent Hill fan then you know lol-)

The Dog ending (again if ur a Silent Hill fan, you know)

Side Story: This is mostly about Litwack and as to why the Arcade has Temporarily closed.

Mr. Litwak’s wife had fallen severely ill to an unknown disease after Road Blasters and Turbo Time got unplugged. A week later Litwaks wife succumbs to the illness. Litwak becomes severely depressed and temprorarily closes the Arcade so he can get well and make funeral arrangements. Litwak never had another employee or assistant to help him continue run the Arcade during harsh times.

FUN FACTS: As a way for Turbo to save his progress, he uses an Nintendo NES console to save. He uses an unknown NES cartridge to put in the console and save. Throught the process of Turbo’s journey, the image on the cartridge slowly appears and becomes visible. Once fully visible the game title and image reveals to be “Turbo Time”. Which unlocks another memory for Turbo.

Another fun fact, at a point through Turbo’s journey he comes across two red cars that appeared to have collided into eachother. One is fully red and the other is red with a familiar white stripe. The white striped car seems to be the one that has caused the crash and looks to have “T boned” into the other car. The person in the car appears to be dead and looks to be veary familliar to a racer dressed in all white. The face though is completely unrecognizable as the face has been completely crushed and disfigured. A gold medal sits next to the dead body and is ised to unlock a door (yay know like your typical horror game puzzle/key fashion). This unlocks another vague memory, but Turbo didn’t know that the dead body was supposed to represent him after the incident. 

Another fun fact: Turbo’s last name “Torrenz” was a last name he had given himself from a poster when he was talking to a cop.

The remake gave me some ideas for redesigning my James for my AU (in which he's a dad). Specifically for potential injuries sustained from monsters that would be visible, which I could see the acid spewed by the lying figures causing some pretty significantly injuries. (Although i think James would learn to deal with them at a distance after the first time)

The shredded sleeves of the jacket don't carry over to the fullbody because its how it is in FG. Since giving it to Oscar; after SH2, it has been repaired with the sleeves replaced from a duplicate jacket.

The second image has him wearing a patchless dupe that he found in the lost and found of Lakeview Hotel. He gave the OG jacket back Oscar for a extra layer of clothing (he really needs it).

The 55 is his actual age in the AU which start looking like once Oscar reunites with Anya.

James borrowed the shotgun from Oscar too.

you look at the aching joint and find your arm extended at an odd angle. you tug at it and someone above you grunts.

the asphalt scrapes at your ass through your leggings, drags them down millimeter by millimeter as you, yourself, are dragged

you look up at the man pulling you and he smiles at you with red teeth.

"No need to be scared hen," he coos at you, "Ahm just takin' ya somewhere safe."

you blink at him and he stops just long enough to crouch down beside you.

his grip on your arm is like iron,

like a manacle.

"Away from the monster." his voice is almost manic, alight with some false sincerity that slices through the cotton that fills your mind just enough for a specter of fear to sink a claw into you.

it's cold.
