Reality seriously IS my playground! (Daily Gratitude)

Ummm, holy shit??? Okay so a job I was originally a little nervous about interviewing for is ALREADY STARTING ON NOVEMBER FOURTH. Literally PERFECT timing, INSANE pay, the benefits are like I’ve NEVER had before, and the manager even said she’s extremely excited for me to join the team.

When I first applied, I had small doubts. But allowing Source Energy and the flow of Well-Being to flow through me has been INCREDIBLE. I sat and visualized multiple times a day how grateful I am to have this job, to see my bank account CLIMB, my benefits cover ALL my doctor and therapist appointments, and the amazing things I would learn and people I would meet. And you know what? ITS FUCKING HAPPENING.

Not only is my new job paying me an almost DUMB amount, the company is paying for further training AND the schedule is better than they told me it’d be. I still get Sundays and Mondays off and have the time to do my workouts and take care of myself. Work/Life balance is HUGE for me.

I DID THIS! Me! Because I KNEW reality is my fucking PLAYGROUND and I make the rules! I ATTRACT THIS JOYFUL ABUNDANCE AND OPPORTUNITY INTO MY LIFE!

In AWE, per usual, of this life and my POWER.

35 Effective Life Changing Affirmations

It all started with a post that I saw for a 21 Day Self-Improvement Challenge.

I began my self-awareness journey the first week of September after finally realizing that history keeps repeating itself in many aspects of my life. I had finally come to a breaking point and knew that I had to make big changes to live a life that I value, love, and deserve. 

I learned that I have to commit and focus on myself, because it's within me, and only me, to create the life that I want. So, in the past 4 and half weeks I have been a sponge to valuable articles, blogs, videos and documentaries on the topics of "self". This gave me insight on how my feelings, emotions, thoughts, and actions have contributed to the experiences in my life. 

This has been a very trying 4 and a half weeks of self-discovery and also the most rewarding. Being with myself, understanding myself, and figuring out things about myself opened my eyes to what I have been doing and thinking my whole life which led me to where I am today. Throughout this process I have come to appreciate who I am, what I stand for, and how powerful I have come to be. 

I feel awakened, transformed, and enlightened. I am grateful for what I have and what I am building daily. I am proof that if you fully focus on yourself, speak positive affirmations, and stay proactive every day for a month straight - you will absolutely have a breakthrough and elevate your current self to a happier state of being.

Now, in my quest to learn something new every day, I bookmarked my favorite positive affirmation sites and read the lists every day. Routine creates habits so after 3 weeks I naturally started saying what I felt out loud as I conditioned my body to lead with gratitude. This is when I decided to create my own set of powerful affirmations with the guidance that I received from the numerous sites that have inspired me.

I was a teenager when Trump was elected in 2016. I was 16 years old, just beginning to question my sexuality while also supporting my best friend who had come out as trans. The only adult I could trust to talk to about it was my geography teacher. After Trump was elected, corporations had the greenlight to price gouge every imaginable necessity, including the insulin my teacher relied on. He couldn't afford all the payments even with insurance so he started rationing. The last day of school before winter break, I wished him happy holidays, gave him a Christmas card, and never saw him again.

I know you mean well, but I say this in the nicest way possible: you are speaking from a place of luck. Just because you haven't lost anyone or anything as a result of the past Trump administration does not mean everyone had the same experience. I know my experience is not a unique one. I could cite the widely available statistics about abortion restrictions and maternal mortality, or gender-affirming care bans and trans suicides, or the pandemic, anything else we've been seeing when conservatives take power.

A lot of us are right to be scared, either because we've gone through this before or because we stand a real risk of losing something.
