An Ojibway visual artist in Winnipeg says her original designs are being stolen and used on Orange Shirt Day T-shirts that are being sold on social media and e-commerce websites in time for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. "They're stealing from Indigenous artists and profiting off our trauma. That's just disgusting," said Jackie Traverse. Traverse says this has been happening more frequently in the days leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 30. Also known as Orange Shirt Day, the day is meant to reflect on the impacts of the residential school system in Canada.

Remembering how Target gave employees these shirts after a few Target stores were ransacked during the George Floyd protests. We all knew it was empty words at the time, but now it's particularly funny given Target's decision to trash DEI.

This is one of the only times I wish I was on bigger social media, I'd love to tag Target's accounts with this shirt and a "This you?"

I went to a Ghost concert with a few friends and former US President Theodore Roosevelt. He was arguably a bigger fan than the rest of us too, like he had a band shirt and everything and pushed through all the way to the first row.
