the use of punctuation (specifically exclamation marks) in isat is so good. siffrin regularly uses exclamation marks when narrating and it gives him this excitable? expressive? kind of vibe as a character. so when the narration starts to drop them in act 3 you can tell that he's really going through it. and in act 5 the exclamation marks get really frequent again, but instead of that excitable vibe from early in the game, it sounds manic and kinda terrifying. and finally, in act 6, the return of the exclamation marks expresses that siffrin is finally in a better mental state and healing and getting back some of their early game whimsy. really really good

anyways ive only ever talked abt this on discord but the world needs to know so: hey guys did you know? loop's attacks in the twohats fight ALL do damage based on a percentage of your hp. did you know? the maximum base damage they can do in phase one is 17% of your health. did you know? even if you went into the game files and changed your own level to level one, loop could not one shot you from full health at any point in the fight. did you know? did you know about this?

Ok a concept for the “sif is out” au:
What if Siffrin starts… not remembering, but adjusting?
Every loop Mirabelle speaks up in the corridor to go find the switch, but eventually…
They start stopping before she speaks up.
He starts finding the keys just a little bit faster.
He doesn’t remember but his body starts to. Some part of him starts adjusting with each loop.
“I mean he hardly has a memory to begin with so why would wiping it reset him?”
Or at least that’s what Loop explains it as.
It’s convenient at first, but…
He starts remembering how cold the party has been.
He starts avoiding eye contact with Odile.
They jump at Mirabelle’s voice sometimes.
He starts avoiding the observatory room.
Folding in disagreements faster.
After countless loops everyone notices that Siffrin starts one level higher now.
He’s smiling more. But there’s something wrong about it.
Everyone notices when he smiles at the mirror for the first time.
They just assume it might be a tiny remnant, not much to be concerned about.
They notice that his face stops changing, the smile remains.
Stock still.
Practiced.
Then…
He stops comforting Bonnie after they snap at him one loop.
[ Siffrin got the memory of Something! They shouldn’t remember this.]
[ When equipped The rogue may find things faster! Guess the loops can’t catch everything~]

#didnt mean to do this one in quote unquote colour but it wasnt legible without it so. heres a treat i suppose#isat#isat spoilers#in stars and time#in stars and time fanart#isat fanart#isat loop#isat bonnie#lucabyteart#coughs up a lung. anyway. ramble time as per usual. this is what i was warming up for btw in case it wasnt obvious#besides being another entry in the 'letting bonnie read loop for filth on accident' series. this is mostly self indulgent musings on#headcanons (and i will just use that word here.) ive previously rambled about in other tags and posts#namely: in the scenario that loop integrates into the party as a New Person for quite a while before The Truth Come Out. i feel they have#a decent chance at really scoring a slam dunk in becoming a guardian figure for bonnie? loop's demeanor is already colder and a tiny#bit more level-headed than siffrin's in the way they seem to discuss bonnie with them. namely pointing out that bonnie#never really hated them. it seems to be one thing they're genuinely at peace with? they've seen by now the truth that bonnie#was just scared and upset. and likely now knows that what bonnie wants is to be treated with grown-up respect within reason. plus loop#already scores bonus points with bonnie since they didnt 1. fuck up bad like sif did in act 5 and 2. saved sif in the party's eyes#... but then when it turns out that this clean-slate relationship with a stranger was siffrin being deceitful? must have been odd.#bonnie seems to really dislike being lied to. the question is whether they'd see it that way? would they feel betrayed there?#anyway. this is set after all those emotions are at least settled some. loop able to be more physically affectionate... and yet#still not letting themselves be quite as close as they'd like perhaps. perhaps...#anyway translucent pyjamas because i dont care if you're comforting a crying child you've GOT to SERVE!!!#and also i feel like the party probably wouldn't let loop stay completely naked for that long. especially not post-reveal anyway

Sif gets hungry on the road to Dormont and picks up a snack(?) that isn't from a trash bin.....his friends intervene.
These guys don't have their chef cooker yet so they don't have cool snacks at the ready.
Sif in this AU isn't particularly picky when it comes to food and they'd often hunt for their food and eat it raw.....but you're not suppose to eat food raw, how curious~
Odile tries to keep a closer eye on Sif after this "silly" Lil incident. Nobody could eat garbage as rancid as that and actually enjoy it!?!?!?
