Heyyyy since there's talk of the Breezepelt Attacking Poppyfrost scene going around, I just wanna remind people that he explicitly does that because he was groomed by the Dark Forest. Jayfeather points it out on the page that Breezepelt's stated motivation doesn't make sense, because it's not actually a rational idea Breezy-P came up with. It's then shown that actual factual evil demons are exploiting the anger he has from being a victim of child abuse, to indoctrinate and manipulate him into radical violence
I wrote a little essay about this with citations and stuff. It wasn't "for no reason," and anyone who tries to use the scene as "evidence" of Breezepelt being Secretly Evil to justify the abuse he underwent as a kid either didn't read it, has bad reading comprehension skills, or is cherrypicking on purpose.
Crowfeather emotionally and physically abused his child, Breezepelt was socially alienated by WindClan as a result, which leads to this moment. That is what is on the page.

I like that Xie Lian and Wei Wuxian have really gruesome, tragic and heartbreaking backstories while Shen Yuan was literally just some hermit ass guy who used to read the shittiest literature known to mankind from the comfort of his home.

I just love how Frodo went through months of trauma to destroy the ring his uncle/cousin found off of a moldy disfigured weirdo’s cave floor just for that same uncle/cousin to ask him if he still had it so he could see it.
Like, did Bilbo not know why Frodo was in Rivendell in that October-December? Why he decided to give him Sting and the mithril? Just on holiday? Going on a fun adventure?
Did he think Frodo took the ring on a tour of Middle Earth? 😂

You know what the politics of first age beleriand needs more of? Attempted assassinations. Every 50 or so years some nobody should try to off some of the elvish political leaders. Like.
Fingolfin? A fanatic feanorian OR anyone who lost a loved one crossing the ice!
Fingon? Ditto, except also anyone he led into the first kinslaying, or who loved someone he drew into the first kinslaying.
Maedhros gets like, all of the above! One of his dad's or brothers' followers who's mad about his leadership and/or yielding the crown! Anyone angry about Generic Feanorian Crimes! Some sinda who just found out that an 9ld friend died at alqualonde, or who's unhappy about feanorian political influence in their territory! Anyone who's convinced he's a thrall! Most of these apply to his brothers as well!
Thingol could easily draw ire from any pre-darkening inhabitants of beleriand who think he should have defended them better against melkor, and/or made more of a push against noldor encroachment.
And of course in at least one version Mîm did try to kill Finrod!
And none of this even touches on humans taking some shots!

My growth as an artist was heavily stifled by the dogmatism in the online art community I was subjected to as a teen (aka by rhetoric implying or straight up saying art has to be made a certain way to be valuable, which discouraged me from experimenting and developing for my own methods, customising my artistic process felt illegal) and i will forever be mad about it
