The allegations are shown to all be wrong by the poster above - but even if they were correct, the blue team would still deserve your vote. They are the least worst alternative
Not to be a debbie downer but Tim Walz was in the military for 24 years, including during the Iraq war. He called the national guard on protestors following the George Floyd murder. He supports Israel. He's approved an oil pipeline across indigenous lands that break treaties.
It's weird to celebrate a man who goes against all leftist values

The MAIN reason I’m voting AGAINST Trump is because this guy is a legitimate THREAT to America. What do I mean? Let’s not forget he STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE:
Tumblr media
What the fuck was he going to do with those? And when you couple the fact that he kisses ass to DICTATORS:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is NOT someone we can afford to let back into the White House.
For the sake of us NOT becoming a dictatorship, please let’s all vote blue down the board.
SO MUCH that the votes won’t be taken to the Supreme Court because they will fuck us all over for him.

Another Australian who thinks rank choice (or preferential as it is known here) voting is excellent. If you don't have a multiple member district, this is the next best way in my non expert view, to get the best outcome for a district.
At the moment it means I can vote green then alp then LNP, then some stupid christian nationalist I'd love a green govt but between the ALP and NLP, I hate the NLP more.
So, a comparatively high amount of states are voting on the fate of ranked choice voting this year. Missouri is voting on whether or not to kill it, Alaska is voting on whether or not to keep it, and most importantly, Nevada, Oregon and Idaho are voting on whether or not to adopt ranked choice voting, with maybe Colorado to follow.
And if you live in these states, even if you don't want to vote at the top of the ticket, I urge you to get out there and vote in favor of ranked choice voting on all of them.
Like, the two-party monopoly is a big part of the reason why politics in this country is so shit, and a big part of that is our "first past the post" system making it basically mathematically impossible for candidates outside of them to win anything beyond a local or state level.
So, if you want to try and break the cycle of voting for the lesser evil, of bipartisan cruelty towards the Global South and the country's own citizens alike, we need to change this and we need to vote on it where we can.

This whole Kamala Harris debacle has shown me how many leftist talking points are coming from privileged people whose only connection to politics is the (usually surface level) theory they’ve looked up.

The whole not voting attitude is just such an immature and entitled attitude. You’re not just voting for yourself and your state. You’re voting for the millions of marginalized people in red states. You’re voting for all of the people worldwide who will be harmed by the impact of our government if it becomes even more of a fascist hellscape. Our government has been and is a harmful, capitalistic system, but we can change it. We must change it, but only by working together. The first step of doing so is by voting in EVERY election.

Please vote. You can’t imagine how important it is to the world that you organise yourself. You might think one vote makes no difference or there is no one you want to vote for.
Every win and every loss is made up on individual votes. Be part of the win. Make the win happen.
You don’t have to like the person you vote for. You might despise them. But if they are the least worst option, hold your nose and vote for them.
Firstly, if you are an American citizen who will be 18+ by November of 2024 REGISTER TO VOTE! If you aren’t sure double check but please please please make sure you are eligible to vote this fall.
Second: YOUR VOTE MATTERS! I know you’ll be hearing everyday about how voting doesn’t matter or people (many of who are probably not actually democrats or liberals) saying they’d rather not vote.
The Republican Party did not spend millions of dollars after the 2020 election to try and throw out results in Arizona and Georgia because your vote “doesn’t matter”
Georgia, a notoriously red state, did not suddenly become a key battle ground state because your vote “doesn’t matter”
Republican law makers didn’t draft countless new voter laws after the election making it harder to vote because your vote “doesn’t matter”
Republicans aren’t going to be screaming about Biden’s state of mind trying to make it seem like voting for him is throwing away your vote because your vote “doesn’t matter”
YOUR VOTE MATTERS!!! Republicans know this and are terrified of this and will do everything to try and stop you from voting. Whether by laws or by telling you “your vote doesn’t matter. That’s called voter suppression babes. And yeah if you think that voting doesn’t matter even though republicans are doing everything to keep you from voting, then guess what? The Republican’s plans worked.

Okay so I just HAD to comment after seeing this fuckery;
Tumblr media
If you don’t know, Trump made a comment how if he gets back in office, he’ll be Dictator for a Day:
youtube
And when you couple that with his comments of wanting to rip up the constitution:
youtube
And the fact he’s buddy buddy with fucking DICTATORS:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE:
Tumblr media
How the FUCK can these people claim they’re “True ‘Muricans’” yet support a fucking TRAITOR?! Not even joking, Trump is a fucking TRAITOR and we should ALL prevent him from coming into the White House because he is a THREAT to America’s security.
Sorry for the rant I just had to say this because these dumbasses do NOT know what is in store for a dictatorship.
Basically your life will no LONGER be your own and EVERYTHING you do will be in the hands of the government. EVERYTHING from internet usage to the clothes you wear.
Let’s prevent all of this by voting blue. 🙏

REGISTER TO VOTE (and check to make sure it is still valid!!!)
and
DON'T FORGET TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A VALID PICTURE ID.
You are allowed to use a 60+ Oyster card, but, conveniently for the Tories, you're not allowed to use a young person's Oyster. Please check the rules carefully at the link above, because they WILL. turn you away.
I promise you the Tories will do everything they can to silence anyone they don't think will be voting for them.
Please don't make it easy for them.
If you can still vote for the Tories after everything they have done in the last 14+ years, you need to re-evaluate your life choices.
Oh yeah and
FUCK THE TORIES
Tumblr media
A rare picture of myself at my first house party, got to get those priorities straight.
Register to vote. It takes 5 minutes and you only have 2 days left to do it to be able to vote in the general election.
