So, uh, I finally wrote the first chapter of the fanfic "What if Pennywise was a real serial killer and the Losers killed him and had to deal with the trauma".

The story is called "The Inane Banality of Killing a Clown" and the first chapter has just been released.

So, what I remember was that the hermits all go to an MCC event that's just to celebrate everyone.

But the event gets infiltrated by hybrid traffickers, who use high-pitched noises on a speaker or something to hurt the hybrids, and they set the game mode to hardcore

Grian gets revealed as a watcher, and Ren gets neck sliced (I think), but doesn't die because the spirit of the Red King keeps him alive and is basically a whole other entity. Also, Martyn is wearing a maid dress through the entire thing

But then Grian manages to get kidnapped, and basically all of mcyt team up to try and save him

Also characters are fictional but the people behind the screens aren't and your words can harm them.

Ooh ooh can I ask what was THAT SCENE for Meet Cute and/or Echoes of the toy guitar??

(Please ignore how long it took me to notice there was an ask in my inbox, I swear my eyes work mostly fine.) I’m assuming this is referencing that post about scenes that inspire you to write whole stories, if not, my bad! Please correct me lol. For Meet Cute it was the dialogue in general. You may have noticed but character banter is my favorite thing to write and Man Baffled and Bewitched by Woman is probably my favorite ship dynamic, so I came up with the banter first then needed a story to put around it. For Echoes on a Toy Guitar, it was the scene where ghost Hector smashed the radio because Ernesto was singing Remember Me. I almost didn’t write it because I wasn’t sure how to pace it, but the idea of Hector promising to never leave his wife and child again, when it’s already too late for him to be with them, was too tragic not to write it.

Ugh. You won't believe this. I'm sorry to bug you, but I just needed to vent.

I saw some idiot on twitter saying that when E met Priscilla he had an eleven year old girl living with him in Germany. They mentioned Scotty Moore said that in his book so I looked it up. What he said was at the time E met Cilla, he had an "even younger German girl" (his words) living in the house with his father and grandmother. Except...well, I can't find any proof of this; there’s no evidence nor mention of this girl (or how old she was) anywhere else in the book nor in any other books written about him. No proof he had anyone else like that living with him in Germany.

So I don’t think that claim is true. Where do people come up with this stuff anyway? How do you not get into an argument with these idiots? Because it's super annoying.

a couple notes‐ honestly, i'm inclined to believe scotty. NOT TWITTER to clarify lol.. eleven seems young for him even if you are looking to view e through the most unflattering light possible 😬 but it seems likely to me that he had another teenage girl maybe not uh. officially on the lease or anything but staying over most nights ! more than ONE even sounds plausible.. we all know that someone didn't like his bed cold.!

people who claim to hate elvis sure spend an awful lot of time reviling him on the internet, especially by regurgitating half-remembered anecdotal evidence without citing their sources. 🙄 on the other hand, it's also easy to fall into the trap of too-faithful elvis historian; by that i mean that the fact that so much of his life is documented sometimes makes us complacent in our belief that if it can't be verified by multiple primary sources that it must not have happened. but we can't always say, and getting too involved as if the historical accuracy of one particular proposed event is the end-all be-all of elvis fandom can get exhausting.!

i wouldn't be surprised to find out either way, that this was or wasn't true. but you're free to make up your own mind, and if it distresses you, then fwiw i think you Totally have a leg to stand on affirming it never happened, like you said !! ultimately, it doesn't have much bearing on right now- if you like elvis, this vague and nebulous criticism probably isn't the thing that'll make you stop liking elvis, and if you hate elvis, you're probably determined to keep doing that regardless.

regarding the twitdiots- while looking into this claim i found a lady on there who legitimately believed that agent elvis tells the true story of how e was experimented on and mind controlled into drug abuse by the government.. like she said That with her whooole chest. so i don't put much stock in public opinion over there 😂😂💀

i want to fight those people extremely often (they're not just on twitter, either- it seems to have died down a little praise GOD but especially in early days after the movie there was a wave of ppl on here who would put their elvis hate in the main tags. WHICH DROVE ME BATTY), but i come from the "don't feed the trolls" era of fandom. as much as id like to rip 'em a new one when they rehash the same two issues over and over and OVER again ad nauseum, i content myself with the fact that they're living a pathetic existence in which they actively choose to fill their life with something they dislike for... no discernable reason.?

no one who spends their time bringing up a dead celebrity at all opportunities just to bash them is actually open to a discussion. and i do think there is a discussion to be had- his life was certainly very troubled, and i think there are a lot of nuanced issues that benefit from being spoken about openly !!!

but i like to debate bc i like to WIN- so jackasses tend to be a waste of my time 😘

thinking about appa and zuko's relationship and how appa is almost symbolic of zuko's temptation

like appa is literally the one that zuko chases most of the time, cuz that's where aang is! so following appa is symbolic for trying to capture the avatar, for trying to restore his honor.

he doesn't see aang in ba sing se until the very end, but he does see posters for appa. im losing it over the narrative circle of zuko suddenly using his appa hunting skills for good, because appa is missing, and if there's anyone in the world who knows how to find that bison, it's zuko. and he does, within fuckjng days of learning that appa is missing, zuko's found him. he's fucking good at avatar hunting. he's good at APPA hunting. and the thematic implications of letting appa go after hunting him down, even if that hadn't been his intent, that the first step in his allegiance shift is to let APPA go. not aang, not anyone else in the group, but appa, the one he uses to track down the avatar. im crying, it's so good

and then after the invasion, he follows appa again, chasing his honor, this time for the right reasons.

there's something so fuckin good about appa being the first one of the gaang to be chill with zuko. like, THAT'S the first step, that's the bit that catches aang and the others off guard. that's what gets zuko's foot in the door.

appa was the first of them zuko proved himself to, so appa returned the favor and bought him time to plead his case. that lick at the temple was appa vouching for him and i love it

Let me tell you something with all due respect.

Tags and tropes exist for a reason, and that might be the beauty of fandoms where it doesn't matter what your tastes are because you always find your cup of tea in the circle. It's a safe place, or supposed to be.

And I'll be the first to admit that if some characters stray from my interpretation of them (which I may be wrong because I'm not infallible nor do I have the final say) I leave the fic at its first chapter. A retreat worthily AND SILENTLY

But there are days where I can't even be a human being as such, so I don't want to but I NEED crack fics of at leats humor and fluff and happy ever after bullshit. That doesn't come without a bit of absurdity and WHO CARES. This type of fic has its target, if you are not part of that target, I respect it but why belittle it?
