I can’t stop thinking about how weirdly intimate this deleted scene is. Loki’s like, ‘ugh, the cream is weird’ and Mobius is like, ‘lol, shaving cream’ and it’s just this quiet little moment of domesticity in the middle of cosmic bureaucracy. Loki looks so comfortable and dare I say… happy? Like they’re in their own little pie-filled world.

And theres something so ridiculously soft about Mobius throwing out the dumb shaving cream joke and Loki, a literal god, just giggling like an idiot. Like, Mobius could’ve said ANYTHING, and Loki would’ve been like ‘hehe, you’re so funny.’ Bro was smitten over pie and banter.

Truly I am becoming so sick of people treating my religion like a fun quirky irl Percy Jackson. (I've ALWAYS been sick of it but oh my gods)

This is a REAL AND ANCIENT RELIGION. These are GODS. Not your silly best friends that are just constantly chilling around you. The lack of respect towards their divinity and weird mortalization of them I've seen in some spaces (not as much on Tumblr but tiktok and SEVERAL discord servers I'm in) is so uncomfortable and angering.

The prevalence of "deity identification spreads" as if they're trying to figure out their godly parent in PJO, the constant "what god is reaching out to me?" questions I see from beginners who barely even KNOW hellenic polytheism, and the constant treatment of the Theoi as fun friends that just sit around on altars at someone's every beck and call. It's so upsetting? It's so uncomfortable?

Yes, the gods love us. Of course, they care for us. But where is the respect? Where is your kharis? How can they love you when they don't even know you? And how can you claim to love Them when you hardly know Them?

You MUST research in this religion. There are no cutting corners. You must must MUST learn. Because without understanding how sacred the practices are and their significance of them to their time and who these gods truly were, you run DANGEROUSLY close to religious and cultural appropriation.

GUYS I just finished the last archon quest and I'm having so many thoughts about capitano...

Imagine reader falling for capitano while hes staying in natlan, but they have a terminal illness (maybe even related to the abyss like atea's was). They don't want to be a burden to him, he has such important goals he has no choice but to reach and they dont want to waste his time, considering they're going to pass on soon anyways.

And capitano has feelings for the reader, but doesn't want to confess because he knows he's going to die in his deal with the Lord of the night, and even if that doesn't succeed, he's still dealing with too much from the souls he carries and his curse to properly have a relationship with them

So reader doesn't confess, and soon they end up dying from their illness, and they go down to the night kingdom for the afterlife, and guess who they find?

Fucking capitano.

And he's dead!! Well, not actually dead, but actually fused with the Lord of the night, which is somehow even more insane than if he was just dead.

And capitanos surprised cause he thought they'd get old with some random natlanese guy, and hed he stuck dead fused with the Lord but then he finds out they had a terminal illness all this time???

And so you two get to spend time you didn't think you'd have together in the afterlife, and it's really nice lol
