The Salamanders were becoming a real problem in Crittervale. It's true that they perceived themselves as entrepreneurs, but the rest of the town saw them differently. Their relentless attempts at stealing and rebranding local businesses were getting out of hand, and for Rooney Raccoon, things had just become personal.

This is a concept sketch from the comic book I'm writing called 'Wilfred Weasel'. I think I've finally pinned down an art style for the book I'm happy with. I didn't dislike the old style, but it took a long time to draw... and if I'm going to draw 100+ pages, time is important.
