Just sat down and realised that the villain for the third book is Batu and now I need to play Vampire Survivors because my feelings for that plot twist are... present, to say the least.

Book 3 is great, dont get me wrong, but the Paddy - Batu switch and the wedding ring - binding ring stuff is... It makes sense, but its literally never used again? Why did Batu have the books smallest binding thing on him. Why is this kind of binding technology never used again, even though its infinitely more practical. If you can turn a ring into a binding thing, why not a choker or an earring or a bracelet. Why is this the only time anyone hides the binding thing in an item.

Also, his name means persistence and thats so fucking dumb. (Or rock. Depending on which language you translate from).
