Speaking of Discordians, are they still around? I only knew one or two and haven't hears from them in a while, and if they're active online I've moved to different virtual spaces.
Not that I'm wanting to seek any out: Discordianism annoys me on several levels. I'm just curious how influential the movement is these days

I think we tumblrinas should bring back Operation Mindfuck. I think we could do it, and even if we can’t, it’ll make Twitter a whole lot more fun.

Any organised, large-scale action has some level of visibility in its planning. This puts the organisers in a bind because any action they take has a large chance of having its impact mitigated before it even occurs, or having immediate backlash as the action is somewhat foreseen. The powers-that-be are not represented by the all-seeing eye of the illuminati for nothing. The tentacles of the system are everywhere. Even in your social programming.
This is why I'm such a huge fan, proponent, and possibly participant in operation mindfuck. Small, disorganized, chaotic actions are hard to predict, hard to mitigate, and hard to reprove. But when they focus towards the same goals of distributing power downward, awakening potential allies, and helping people out, they can have a large impact.
So I urge all of you, in whatever capacity you can, be chaotic good, do chaotic good, bring about good chaos.

These all also apply to these three special mini challenges, consisting of a 7 day, a 10 day, and a 14 day prompt list.

SO now that i've parked 'the path of a lightning bolt' (for now!!) for anyone interested here is how the Shazam powers work in the series continuity:
Shazam is (kinda) a separate person from Billy
more specifically: the Shazam powerset or the 'Living Lightning' is (as the name suggests) alive, sentient & intelligent. however, it's sentient in a very different way to a human and as a result when bestowed on a human vessel it takes on their identity and personality.
it can take a little while for a Champion to become fully attuned w the Living Lightning and become aware that they are becoming a different person when transforming. (yes this is my way of reconciling this hc with movie canon) As alluded to in 'Living Slow' the longer the Champion spends transformed the more they drift mentally away from their mortal self.
in addition to its own powers n knowledge the Living Lightning also contains the collective experience of all previous champions; however as having a bunch of other people's memories dumped into your brain is a bit of a mindfuck for a human this knowledge is on a need to know basis.
Champions are invulnerable to (almost) all harm but not actually immortal. when powered up they do age, just very very slowly. many previous champions lived massively long lives before voluntarily surrendering their powers back to the Rock of Eternity and dying.
there's only one Living Lightning and it's also embodied in Black Adam so he and Shazam are on a certain level the same person. this is possible bcos the Living Lightning exists on a different plane of reality.
regarding the power sharing thing:
the other 5 Shazam kids (as alluded to in the comics and first movie and dropped altogether in the 2nd movie) do not have identical power sets. They all have the same base combo of invulnerability + super strength but each of them gets 1 of the powers to themselves
Mary is the only one with access to the Wisdom of Solomon
Pedro is the strongest
Freddy is the only one who can fly & is the fastest in the air
Eugene is the only one with the lightning powers
Darla is the only one with full on hyperspeed and is the fastest
Billy does lose some of his power when the other kids are powered up (he takes iunno like. a 20% cut in whatever power they're drawing on) which is why he sometimes operates best alone.
bcos the other kids draw their powers from Billy rather than directly from the Rock of Eternity they don't have access to any of the previous champions' experience. essentially Billy has the Living Lightning's 'brain' inside him when powered up and the rest of the Shazamily just has its hands.
this means he does have access to powers they don't have but they don't have to deal w any of the identity/existential nonsense. they just get cool superpowers.
Teth Adam was the last champion chosen before Billy. pretty much all previous champions were pre-historic (the Living Lightning & Rock of Eternity are very very ancient) which means Billy can theoretically tap into memories of otherwise entirely forgotten cultures. which is neat!

You know how male lions will often kill any pre-existing cubs not their own when they take over a pride?
Zahard kind of operates like that sometimes when reminding his old companions who's the one in charge 👍
V and Arlene betray and wage war against him? Kill their child
The FH's send their daughters and other descendants into the princess system he couldn't care less about to force his hand into marriage (and produce his prophesied son)? Make the system unwinnable by executing everyone who comes too close for treason and dub the participants as your daughters
Gustang thinks he's slick by sending in his prodigy daughter to win the whole thing? Sabotage her own willingness to participate by revealing Arlene's pocket Mindfuck her into killing sprees forever staining her reputation, and then imprison her in solitary for a few millennia
Even Data Zahard...Edahn starts challenging him with a suspect bet and his IMMEDIATE first course of action is to go kill Edahn's children to establish dominance
#Tower of god#Zahard#Obviously more complex motivations but the trend of “oh you though you could fuck with me? I'm going to kill your child(ren) for that”#As one of the chief results remains consistent#Also how Zahard seemingly readily confessed the truth to Enne once confronted...very suspicious imo#At the very least it's kind of weird that he didn't simply hard gaslit her over what remains one (1) piece of evidence#From someone long since erased from history and quite literally having left the Tower + V dead#if he had had literally any scrap of Investment in keeping Enne (and by extension her parents) on his good side which he clearly didn't

Bruce sets up an elaborate mindfuck for Tim's birthday in an attempt to make Tim less trusting of even allies, giving him a mental breakdown. Bruce claims this will make Tim a better vigilante.
Tim, upon figuring it out, throws his Robin uniform literally in Bruce's face, cussing him out (like, actually censored swears, which Tim usually doesn't use), and quits. He talks with Steph about how messed up it was, and she empathizes out of her own messed up experiences with Bruce.
An unclear but short time later, probably a few days, Tim un-quits and states to Bruce that he doesn't expect an apology (not because it's unnecessary, but because he knows Bruce).
~
Stephanie returns from presumed death, finds Bruce, and accepts his orders to not reveal herself to everyone else & to take extreme actions to, once again in Bruce's estimate, make Tim a better vigilante.
This includes running around town in her original costume so Tim thinks his dead friend has a copycat, hiring people to attack him, working with a bomber, and even after knocking all that off, not sharing pertinent information about it with Tim, resulting in Tim being caught in an explosion.
Tim yells at Stephanie and says "Don't let me catch you wearing [the Spoiler] costume ever again." When she tracks him down a little later, he refuses to speak with her.
An unclear amount of time later, probably a few months, Tim is willing to work with Stephanie to stop a supervillain plot.
~
Some fans treat Tim's word-choice in the confrontation with Steph as him trying to control her. As him thinking he's got the authority to decide who can and cannot operate as a vigilante, at least in Gotham.
But. Like. One, aside from this one conversation, he takes no actions to stop her. He doesn't steal her gear (like Bruce sometimes steals people's uniform), he doesn't go and tell other people to stop working with her, he doesn't even go snitch to her mom.
Tim just. Tells the friend who got him very badly hurt while mindfucking him that he doesn't want to see her in the field again.
Two, it's a pretty dang similar response to when Bruce mindfucked him in the first example. Tim is the one who insists Batman needs a Robin. And here he is depriving Batman of Robin.
Yet if I tried to claim "Tim quitting Robin is his attempt to control Batman, is Tim acting like he has authority to stop Bruce from being a vigilante" you'd laugh in my face. Because that is a huge leap to make, with convoluted logic, and isn't supported by the rest of the text.
Bruce & Stephanie both screw Tim up really badly.
He confronts them and says he's breaking ties.
Then after a little distance, he goes right back to working with them.
And some people think this is...controlling? Don't get me wrong, Tim has some controlling tendencies, they all do, but it's usually teaming up with Alfred to stop Bruce patrolling while injured, and lying his ass off to everyone so he can do what he wants.
This? Is not that.
#Robin 1993#and a little bit of RR#Bruce Wayne Critical#Stephanie Brown Critical#DC#Batfam#comics meta#Tim Drake#meanwhile Cass nerve strikes both Steph and Babs at least once each#to stop them from following her or stopping her when she wants to go do something dangerous alone#and nobody talks shit about her for THAT#I love Cass! she is simply not exempt from Being An Asshole sometimes#and it does drive me a bit buggy that like...#it never comes up in these discussions#Bruce Wayne#Stephanie Brown#characters are all tagged for archival purposes#dunno if this is Fandom Critical or just Fandom Exasperated

Apparently at some point MCU fans collectively agreed that the Blip takes place on October 17th, 2023. Which is today. So I figured I'd take the time to detail the four biggest reasons why the time jump in Endgame was a universe-shatteringly horrible idea that should never have seen the light of day
the absolute biggest problem, of which there are many, is the fact that countless people died as collateral damage in the initial Snap. Hell, we are shown it in the Infinity War post-credit scene with those multiple car accidents and that helicopter slamming into a building. And that was just the tip of the iceberg; imagine how many planes crashed because the pilots were dusted, or how many babies starved because both their parents were dusted, or people who may have died on the operating table because a surgeon got dusted. All of these people are totally ignored. It's never so much as mentioned when talking about bringing everyone back, and Tony insisting that the last five years remain unchanged is implicitly saying all of those people remained dead when the dusted returned.
the second big problem with this plot point is that it's used as an excuse for every character except Nat to be totally unrecognizable. Bruce becomes Professor Hulk, Thor gets fat, Tony has a family (and I fucking love how the movie inadvertently says he just let the world rot for five years instead of using his billions of help. That is 100% in character for him), Clint went on a mass killing spree, and Steve... I actually have no idea what made him change so radically. None of this is shown to us at all, it's just told to us.
this is less a problem with Endgame and more a problem with Phases 4 and 5, but the other worse thing about this development is that absolutely nothing has been done with it. Far From Home played the time-jump for comedy, WandaVision had that one great scene in the hospital and then did nothing else, Shang-Chi had a singular throwaway line about the Blip, Hawkeye had that one neat visual of getting Snapped from Yelena's POV and then nothing else, Multiverse of Madness had a single conversation where Strange wonders if letting Tony have his way was the only way to save the universe, Quantumania had a single scene addressing the homelessness issue and then nothing else, and I think Secret Invasion tried to do a bit of a look at how Talos reacted to the Blip, but that show was so awful that I'd rather not think about it. The only projects to do anything at all with the Blip as a major plot point are Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Eternals.
the fourth and final massive problem with the Blip is pretty simple yet complicated; it ignores the absolutely insurmountable societal implications both the Snap and the Blip would have. Think about it; half the fucking universe disintegrates into ash. There are SO many things that would do to just human society alone. But even more importantly, five years after all those people were declared dead (meaning wills are executed, spouses remarried, jobs and homes redistributed, etc) those people suddenly reappear, and from their POV it's only been a second. Just to put it in perspective, the Snap happened on April 29th, 2018. Doesn't that feel like forever ago? If the Snap were real, all those people would have been gone until today. That is such a huge mindfuck that I'm shocked no one went insane. And even looking aside from the psychological impact, all those people are pretty fucking screwed. Far From Home had a single scene addressing this, then promptly forgot about it.
My final point is less of a problem and more of an amusing byproduct; since Tony directly forbids Bruce from undoing the last five years, that means the events of WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, and Secret Invasion are on some level his fault. That’s fucking hysterical.
I suppose I'll be absolutely fair and say that rewinding time isn't a morally perfect solution either, as you would be erasing any maturity the survivors gained during those five years, as well as anyone born in that time. But that's just all the more reason to NOT HAVE A FUCKING TIME-SKIP!!! I still think the only reason it was done was for cheap shock value.
All in all, the five-year time jump is the single worst major plot point in the MCU. Fight me.

OK. I watched the first chapter of Ever Crisis First Soldier episode 2 and of course I have thoughts.
Cut for spoilers and length.
Sephiroth has officially become a sympathetic character. I mean, he always was, but there's no doubt about it being official now.
The way he's acting toward people, pushing them away? He's not being arrogant or sullen or a dick. He's a sad, traumatized kid with crappy self-esteem. He's in pain and grieving the loss of Glenn, Matt and Lucia's friendship. He's trying to convince himself that he's a soulless machine because machines don't have to feel what he's feeling. He's pushing everyone away because he doesn't want to make the choice he had to make between saving Rosen and saving himself and his friends. If you're cold, calculating and ruthless, such choices are a lot easier.
Except he's not any of those things or he wouldn't be acting the way he is. He wouldn't care, but he obviously does here. If you push everyone away and keep them at arms length, it doesn't hurt so much when they inevitably leave.
Except Angeal ain't havin' none of that. He's gonna make Sephiroth his bro if it kills both of them. The dynamic between these two so far is
And you know it works, too, and at least they get ten good years as friends after that.
So yes, the Sephiroth from Episode 1 is still there, but he's depressed and traumatized. If he returned to Midgar between episodes, he probably got a good dressing down from the top brass at Shinra and suffered who knows what at Hojo's hands. He's hurting and I think on some level Angeal knows that, which is why he's trying so hard to break through.
Now let's talk about Sephiroth's dream. I hope that was just a regular dream and not Jenova fucking with him because that would be a real kick in the nuts. I'm going to say it was an actual dream triggered by seeing Alissa "Definitely Not Jenova" Goldie and her uncanny resemblance to Lucrecia. And he was handed an empty bowl and told it was pumpkin soup because he doesn't know what pumpkin soup looks like. He just knows it would be good and that his mama would make him some if she could.
And speaking of Definitely Not Jenova. Nope, definitely not Jenova or Hojo mindfucking him. Not at all.
But since I'm a glass half full kinda gal when it comes to these things, I'm considering another angle. Yeah, purple and purplish pink are colors associated with Jenova, but those lights swirling around Alissa remind me of will o' the wisps or spook lights. Depending on which culture's folklore you're looking at, these can represent elemental spirits, the fae or demons (demons as in "spirit that never walked the earth in physical form" and not the Biblical nasties).
What if a forest spirit or similar entity took an interest in Sephiroth and wanted to get a closer look to see what makes him tick? Such an entity wouldn't really understand humans, so throwing Hojo in his face wouldn't strike it as being cruel or malicious. It was just curious to see how he would react.
Yeah, it's probably Jenova. "Those you hate, those you fear, those you love" after all. The other idea is worth considering, though.
Some odds and ends:
*i'm glad that the existence of female SOLDIER operatives has been confirmed. Not sure how I feel about them having to wear coochie cutters while the guys get real pants, though.
*I wonder how Sephiroth will get Masamune from its namesake. I'm going to be optimistic and say Mr. Epic Eyebrows will deem him worthy of receiving it, because that's how that seems to be shaping up at first glance. My prediction is that Masamune will pop up at times throughout the story to observe Sephiroth and test his mettle. He already knows Sephiroth is worthy, and these interactions will serve to verify that.
*Bachman's kind of a pain in the ass, isn't he? Sephiroth isn't your show pony, dude. He didn't even know you'd be tagging along.
*EC is really playing up how innocent and good these kids were back in the day. Angeal certainly had it helped along by his upbringing, but it took work for Sephiroth to maintain his goodness. He's the way he is despite his childhood, not because of it.
*I know I sound like a broken record but bog standard villains just don't get that kind of development. We're not supposed to see them sympathetically. At least not the ones for whom a redemption arc isn't in the works. We're supposed to cheer when they get what they have coming in a movie or on a show. We're supposed to feel accomplished when we beat them as the final boss in the game. We're not supposed to see their inevitable defeat as the heartbreaking last act of a tragic life.
*EC took pains to make the connection between the purehearted pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth and the Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation. It's looking more and more to me like EoC Sephiroth and the Sephiroth menacing the party are two different people. Or, more accurately, two versions of the same person from two different universes/timelines and one of them isn't answering to Jenova anymore (if he ever did in the first place).
*I mean come on. The symbolism. The white feathers (which pop up all over Rebirth, too). This:
*That's not there by accident or because it looks cool. It's a single white wing to contrast with Jenovaroth's single black wing and highlight the differences between the two. The battle theme that plays during the behemoth fight is called White Winged Angel, fercryin' out loud! I will die on this hill.
That's all for now. Thanks for sticking around to the end of this if you did.

HEADCANON FREE SPACE - GRIAN
from the response to this post
hi hello!! this post is a free space for people to come by and share their headcanons about a specific mcyt character, and this post is for grian!
grian is like. one of those chars that are just headcanon central, so i thought it be appropriate to start with him
not-exactly-rules but some guidelines + my own headcanons under the cut!
- GO ABSOLUTELY NUTS!! share as MANY as you like, i literally don’t mind if you’re going to make a ten page essay about your headcanons. just go wild, just as long as it sticks to the character of this post! bc if it i do multiple characters on one post it might get overwhelming and messy
- you can either do it in the tags or you can just reblog and add to this, i don’t mind as long as it’s convenient for you! you can add to other people’s rbs but i do think it would be better if you rb it straight off this post, but that depends on you!!
- if you want to reblog with your design as well so you can explain your hcs, go ahead! i would absolutely love to see how people design the characters individually!!
i will probably make a masterpost for this but for now we’ll start humble, but i’m aiming to release one post per week, but maybe would speed it up if my schedule allows me!
so yea, go wild!
i will probably start with the life series peeps first but i am thinking of maybe doing qsmp peeps as well after!
my grian headcanons cause i wrote a whole thing in my notes app:
- in my hc, the forms of watchers are dream-like and amorphous, basically visual mindfucks in appearance. grian who was fairly new to the watchers still kept his regular human form, but those who have been watchers for a very long time eventually would lose their individual human identity, and is assimilated into the collective that are the watchers. grian, if give or take maybe a century, the same thing would have eventually happened to him.
- his wings, gifted to him when he was ‘taken’, are generally amorphous and shifting, and you can never focus what shape they’re supposed to be (they can give you a headache the longer you try to look at their genuine form), but he can disguise them in any shape he wants (bird wings, dragon wings, etc.) so it doesn’t hurt to look at them.
- grian cut off his association with them just several months after he was taken, joining hermitcraft not long after, estranging themselves from them.
- he can still use his powers (which include astral projection, and etc.), but because of his cut ties they’re significantly weaker than the average watcher. for example, watchers can ‘watch’ over an entire server, but grian can only ‘watch’ one person at a time.
- his reasons for not wanting to be assimilated into the watchers is that he knows what it’s like to have been pushed and forced to take up a role against his will (ahem high school ahem), and it’s hurt him and he won’t want to let it hurt him again. aside from that, he finds that the watchers are extremely boring, considering all they do is observing passively from the sidelines and all that, which is the complete opposite of how grian likes to operate. he finds it extremely restrictive and prevents him from actively participating in things. not wanting to be confined to that, he cut ties with them.
- however he still uses his powers for troublemaking and mischief, and also to help others when they need it. he doesn’t consider himself affiliated with the watchers because he thinks it’s merely some godly title and also because he wouldn’t want anyone to think him differently, so he doesn’t really hide it.
- as he denied his watcher status very early into joining them, he still has the physicality (stamina, energy and such) of a regular human. only his wings are amorphous instead of his entire form since his wings were given to him when he joined them.
- made the life smp as a fun game for his friends, but in my hc, they did a test run before starting 3rd life. it was during that test run when the watchers seized control over the server.
- during 3rd life, he put admin restrictions on himself to remove his wings so he couldn’t fly and it was fair game for the rest.

Pretty much everything in the game having to do with mindflayers, the Elder Brain, the Grand Design, the drama of it all, the betrayals, and the players being revealed and exiting stage - all of it is actually pretty incredible in bg3.
It's probably the biggest thing that keeps me going in Act 3, because each piece of information you learn helps you reframe prior experiences to reveal even MORE information.
And if you try too hard to make all the hidden pieces make sense, you really do start to replicate the stereotype of a "crazy person".
Which I believe frames characters like Orin and particularly her "hysterical" behavior as more credible than you might have initially taken them for.
My one and ONLY criticism to an otherwise stellar story is the fact that everything we learn about mindflayers should have also been punctuated by the existence, behavior, and culture of their former-slaves-turned-hunters: the Githyanki.
(images source)
When all the games of the mindfuckers were all said and done, after all the frilly subterfuge: they still would butcher you like a common animal as their final assault before asserting their new world order. They would send in their warrior-slaves to finish the job.
But then the gith developed psionics of their own to resist the control of their mindflayer overlords. Through the rage of their warrior-savior Gith, some followed her stead and swore to hunt down every last mindflayer and wipe them from existence. And loot all the material realm as their garden and prize for being their own masters.
While Githzerai disagreed, Githyanki took a violent and aggressive approach to dealing with the mindfuckery of the mindflayers.
We start the game with Lae'zel, we then encounter the Gith Patrol, and then we later on visit the creche. Every one of these encounters and Lae'zel's seemingly stubborn nature should have echoed how to resist the mindflayers' worming themselves into your mind.
We get this advice late in the game, but what if you never let a mindflayer in to begin with? What if you were so resistant to EVERYONE that you could skip all these tips? The Githyanki approach? We can infer as followed:
View everyone as hostile outright so as to not get charmed by false politeness and friendliness. Test their pleasantries by being as bold and unpleasant as you please.
Be assured of yourself as your one and only judge so as not to be too impressionable by a creature constantly shifting the narrative to suit themselves.
Be plunderous yourself, judge all interactions as transactional, so that an ally helping you with your goals is just an ally with no emotional connection. There is no trust to those not vetted kin.
Purge the weak of mind and body, and disregard all the same who might prove a liability especially towards the wiles of temptation.
Showing more of Githyanki culture and mannerisms in relation to how mindflayers operate would have been a way to push players to better question and indulge in that aspect of the plot.
There may be a defensive purpose to being "attack first, ask questions later". Maybe the person's "hysterical" raving and urging you not to trust someone has a reason for saying as much.
When there is a group of entities pulling the strings in the unseen and the unsaid, and you may not ever know how or why - never fully understanding the whole scheme - it pays to know how others resisted it before.

OPERATION LUIGI MANGIONE: You. Can’t. Make. This. Stuff. Up.
Posted on December 10, 2024 by State of the Nation
https://stateofthenation.info/?p=8029
Except that’s exactly what the perps did—THEY MADE UP THE WHOLE EFFIN’ “LUIGI MANGIONE” STORY!
First, take a close look at the 2 photographs above.
Yes, that’s right, you’re supposed to be looking at the same person … … … only it clearly isn’t!
The surveillance footage on the left captured an individual who is far leaner in both physiognomy and body. Here’s the video that further fleshes out the very lean skeleton of the alleged shooter.
GRAPHIC VIDEO! Shooting of United Healthcare CEO in NYC (WARNING: Violent Footage)
The photo on the right is a buff guy — that’s Luigi Mangione — whose jaw line is much broader and not nearly as narrow as the guy’s on the left.
The “Manifesto, Gun & Fake Id” Narrative
Then there is the ridiculously absurd official narrative instantly pushed by the CIA’s entire Mockingbird Media.
We’re not even going to go there the whole story is so fake and gay is hurts. But for the uninitiated, you might want to read EVERY SINGLE COMMENT posted under the following Zero Hedge article. We’ve never seen every single commenter get it right in one comment section btw, but then so obvious is “OPERATION LUIGI MANGIONE”, how could they not unless they really wanted to look like a complete idiot.
What We Know About Luigi Mangione, “Person Of Interest” Arrested In UnitedHealthcare CEO Shooting
For those who did not take the time to read any of those various comments, here’s the top-rated comment:
Posted by manofthenorth
“the man allegedly had a manifesto on him when he was taken into custody by cops in Altoona, Pa. He also had a gun, silencer, four fake IDs and other items ‘consistent’ with what authorities were looking for in the case, sources said.” I know that there is no shortage of crazy people but this just stinks of fuckery.
So we’re not writing this analysis to debunk the official “Luigi Mangione” narrative; that’s already been done sufficiently by virtually the entire Internet commentariat. We’re here to unpack this psyop/black op, and maybe explain the clusterfuck/mindfuck it was designed to be.
WHAT A PIECE OF WORK?!?!?!
Let’s face it, this particular patsy does not by any means fit the typical white supremacist, Christian, male profile. In fact, he’s quite different in several ways; and much more like Ivy League-educated Ted Kaczynski, the notorious mail-bombing “Unabomber”. By the way, Ted’s “Unabomber Manifesto” reads like a philosophical “Blueprint for Action” for the Patriot Movement’s ongoing Second American Revolution—FOR REAL!
The Unabomber Manifesto: “Industrial Society and Its Future”
As for “Luigi Mangione”, (SOTN did previously write that this assassination was carried out by a “contract hitman”, so what better name than L U I G I _ M A N G I O N E E E, as the Sicilian mafia would say), you just can’t make this stuff up.

Does Caper self-project onto his puppet? Even if just sometimes (Talking about the iterator cabin fever). Just curious since he'd have to interact with Sparrows through it and I'm wondering if that would do much.
ah! i thought about this as one of the first things when considerin their relationship!
Sparrows makes it a point to always bully him off of his puppet like the good Iterator Mechanic/Admin that she is (when they aren't havin a Cuddle Session). when they learnt about these type of things back in school, it actually all horrified her So much that one of her projects was a detailed exploration of ways to prevent mental sicknesses like that. it was... all "too" humane, according to the teachers, so much so that she got a bad grade. she uses these methods with Euros either way tho, gotta make sure her boy is as healthy as he can be
it does often end up with her sitting on the floor of his chamber with the puppet suspended above her, unresponsive, while she converses essentially with an empty room. it sometimes fucks her up a lil cuz like that there is nothing shielding her from the reality of an Iterator's sheer merciless size. it's a one hell of a mindfuck. Euros keeps making fun of her whenever she spaces about it a lil n she kicks one of his walls in response
here's their most common set up for interaction
one of the preventive methods for Iterator cabin fever Sparrows came up with is basically forcefully taking one of their Overseers (ideally capable of live feed to the rest of the Iterator- Euros Can do that since he's in the Phone Operator Guild) for a walk like a doggy. can't get a cabin fever if u take in the sights and get to interact with your caretaker/friend, Boy
#Spot says stuff#rw#oc tag#oc: three sparrows#oc: caper of euros#all IMs make sure the iterators dont fall (TOO) deep into mental illnesses like the cabin fever thing#after the ancients are all gone tho? -eyes Euros- yeaaaaa he gets a bit too focused on his puppet.#n hey lookit!! Sparrows with an actual design at last the fuck!!!!! u can tell i was fuckin dyin at the end of the comic there#so fuckin tired... either way yea the point of the walk combod with live feed is takin the Iterators attention away from their little box#'you are more than that love!!! you are this small thing in my backpack and you are the big thing under my feet. feel through it.'
