Is it morally right to participate? Kendo and the 2023 World Combat Games in Saudia Arabia.

Last weekend was open de france were the 7th dan competition took place. There are many 7dan women but for some reason that I do not know and do not understand, they are still not allowed in that competition!

Reading this article from Kate Sylvester raises the question wether or not countries should participate to the world combat games.

I asked myself the question if I should go to open de france and if I should show my displeasure. In the end, I did nothing and didn't hear anyone complain about it. Only some mild acceptance. After reading the article, I think at least expressing my dissatisfaction here is a starting point.

Maybe it's time to ask the question:

"Is it morally right to participate to Open de France" ?
