Now that Izuku looks a little closer, there’s a wooden hook, presumably where the necklace used to be hung. He turns to his own alcove and notices for the first time a silver knife, with rubies the size of his fingernail embedded in the hilt. It appears to be more for decoration than any practical use, albeit very expensive-looking, as the froglike girl said.

You know what's messed up about people hating on characters who cry? When the character actually has legit reasons to cry! Some of them be put in life or death situations! AND BE KIDS!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I would cry every single second if I was Midoriya. Like, folks be calling him a "crybaby" in a derogatory fashion but think about all he has gone through.

You really think you wouldn't be crying, too? Be honest, be honest. Even if you don't do it right in front of people, you would cry behind closed doors.

Nidhogg did go a little overboard with his vengeance we agree on that... but damn i think it kinda sucks that Vritra didn't try to kill Golbez even a little bit after what he did to Azdaja.

I know he's basically a pacifist and tries not to incite violence and it's not fully IC but i kinda wish he took an arm off Golbez or something. That dude got off scot free for all the shit he pulled.

One of my favorite things about the Inkheart books is how Farid will say some unhinged shit sometimes and Dustfinger just stands there like "is that. Is that real? Are you trying to psych me out or are you for real?" And then when Dustfinger's caught in the Mill Farid just hangs off the window thinking about carving the Miller's lips off for looking so satisfied about lying to them. Like yeah. He's fr. He's just like that man

It feels like a dream come true. Izuku’s standing in front of All Might himself-- the smaller version, but still. He has his autograph. He has a story he’s going to treasure for the rest of his life. He just has one more thing to ask...

“Do you think someone can be a hero without a quirk?”

All Might pauses. Izuku waits with baited breath.

“No.”

Before he can even start to feel crushed, the world chooses to crumble to pieces around them. The sky, the roof, and the city all begin to glow bright scarlet until it hurts his eyes to stay open. All Might yelps in alarm--

--and then all of it, the light, the sounds of the city, All Might’s voice-- disappears in an instant, though it takes a second to blink the spots out of his eyes. He’s standing in a small, musty dark burgundy alcove, around three feet wide and two feet deep. In front of him stretches a wider, stone brick room lined with desks and bookshelves and other alcoves just like his own in different colors; for example, on the opposite side of the room, posture tightening from confusion to shock to anger, stands Kacchan in a mustard yellow alcove of his own.

“Deku,” he growls quietly. I’m screwed, Izuku realizes.

Nevertheless, he steps out of his alcove and takes in the rest of the room. Aside from his and Kacchan’s, there’s a dark green alcove in the wall to his left, containing a small, froglike girl. To Kacchan’s right is a boy with heterochromic hair, in front of a royal blue alcove.

“Where the fuck is this? How did I get here?” [snaps] Kacchan.

“I’d like to know that as well,” pipes up the froglike girl. The peppermint-haired boy doesn’t say anything, but he looks just as clueless as Izuku feels.

“Maybe this is the work of a villain?” He wonders aloud. “Teleporting random citizens to strange locations to cause confusion-- but then why wouldn’t we have heard of them before?”

I’ll be honest and like I’m only on s2 so idk if it’s early for me to write off the Lego knights but like their characters are so woefully 1 dimensional holy hell. They have a lot of potential and sorry idk if I’m offending anyone here but nexo fandom? I’m stealing all your knights and revamping them bc I’m crazy (and it will be fun)

Edit: this is an opinion. Anyone’s free to disagree. You’re still valid if you think these characters are well written. This was not meant to be an attack on anyone. This is how I in general enjoy consuming content. By analysing critically and reconstructing canon into my own fanon specifically for my own entertainment. It’s not serious. It’s not a jab at anyone. And I still enjoy the show even if it’s badly written. Like someone said in the comments, it’s actually sometimes a good thing to watch shows that don’t have as much writing quality.

Edit 2: this post has nothing to do with Ninjago. This isn’t a comparison. This is not me saying “Ninjago is better and because nexo isn’t Ninjago, it’s trash”. I’d have these opinions regardless.
