So. Yeah. I just finished the third chapter of Great God Grove and I'm crying. Something about how for the entirety I was expecting just queerbaiting with no confirmation, i was expecting to have to draw fanart to make myself feel better over not being represented and. Seeing it said. Out loud. And clear. And. Fuck. Dammit. I'm crying again.

In times where queerness is being pushed back and repressed and questioned, I think this is what I needed. It reminded me that hey. Uh. It's okay to be this way. And representation in media DOES matter. Queerness in media doesn't need to be the center point of the plot for it to be here and not hidden behind a curtain of "maybe, maybe not! If it makes us more money, we'll say it's not a thing". Everything about this chapter was so well-layered because. It just fits into place. I don't know

This is just word vomit at this point. I just need to say it somewhere. I want to live in a world where I can be queer and loud about it, and even if I can't get here in my life, I wanna work towards a future where others that come after me will be able to do just that.

I loved the first two chapters aswell, the interactions and the little secrets just make this game so. Alive. But something about that third one made me sob as soon as I realized what was actually gonna happen. As soon as I realized Thespius brought it up more than once, I stood there still as i processed. I was already thinking of fanart to caption as "so was it casual or" and i went. Holy shit. I DONT KNOWWWWWW AAAAHH

it’s time for MY WILD LIFE LIZZIE DESIGN!!! my queen ldshadowlady 🫡

i came up with this design around the time the second episode came out!! i wanted her outfit to be flowy and full of whimsy so this is what i came up with! :3

she of course has her bird wings from her first episodes thumbnail(that i’m too lazy to draw on her back) along with green bows to represent the BAMboo, and the cherry blossoms from the mountain on her dress !! there’s also life hearts that are meant to be embroidered to her dress on the bottom!!:D

(bonus thing…she is wearing a heart locket necklace that requires a key to open, and wouldn’t you know it joel has a necklace with a key that fits in there perfectly <3)

the hardest thing was figuring out what i wanted her color scheme to be for this season…and also making this different from my secret life design

a lot of the designs i had seen at the time reminded so much of my SL lizzie design and i was like CRAP how will i differentiate between them??

ANYWAY sorry for the ramble i had a ton of fun with this design!! would love to make this into a dress but i fear i may need to learn embroidery <\3

What I loved about Cinderella's Castle is it is so entirely about Ella. We know starkid can handle a show with tons and tons of characters but I found it quite refreshing for it to be so wholly her story? I think it was a lovely choice for this show and man Bryce did such a perfect job of it, she is truly such a star
