I’m dealing with a lot right now, but I just wanted to take some time to talk about my approach to life in general that kinda helps me.

Having been through a few different therapists, I have formed a way to navigate hard times, and my direction is one of radical kindness. I try my best to be an open minded person and listen to others, I try to live by my morals, and I try to not let others influence this about me. If someone is hateful to me, I try to take a kinder perspective to them and realize that an aggressive response would help nothing. Even if I can’t see the good in a person, I gift them my neutrality, because I don’t have the time or energy to let their hate live in my mind.

Hopepunk is the kind of thing I really like, because in a world that wants nothing more than to see me suffer, the boldest thing I can do is dare to have hope for a brighter future.

the thing thats making me go the most insane is the fact that theyre not doing these things for each other. ed isn’t retiring to become a fisherman for stede, and stede isn’t becoming this great legendary pirate for ed. but they both expected the other to be joining them. this ENTIRE SHOW has been about ed wanting the simple life and stede wanting to leave it, and they’re only just now realizing/really coming to terms with the fact that if they want to live out the life of their dreams the other won’t be there with them. but if they’re not together is it really the life they want?

HELP I HAVE FIVE MINUTES i think one of the things that makes shen yuan a really realistic character is the fact that he has different "faces" for different people. like not in the people pleaser way but like in the way that u wouldn't talk to ur bff the way you'd talk to ur coworkers kind of thing and this could be such great shipping food too

like shan yuan would never tease luo binghe the way he teases liu qingge but he also would never talk to liu qingge (because liu qingge is the teasing victim) in that tired old man way the way he does luo binghe (because sqq is the teasing victim) and I think that makes him just a really realistic character ....... IDK I REALLY APPRECIATE IT BECAUSE IT ALSO CREATES DIFFERENT DYNAMICS INSTEAD OF LIKE Lets throw this archetype with this archetype. like No he is a Fluid Being!!!!!!!!!! and that is so fun and whimsy!!!!!!!

i especially love this within a liubingshen dynamic because bing and sqq ganging up on lqg is Just Really Funny........

for about the last month bc i was recently diagnosed with what has been causing some of my physical issues for the last decade. glad to have finally got a diagnosis but at the same time it is a chronic and can potentially be terminal so it’s been a lot to deal with

but on a better note, i finally found a meditation that works for me and actually got to communicate with Lord Lucifer! he helped me leave a toxic friendship (which has also been heavy) and he let me have a good cry with him. he also appeared to me in a human body in like my minds eye so here is how he appears to me!

i really couldn’t see his face so this is truly the best picture i have of what he looks like

but yeah here’s my little ramble! if you wanna talk about an experience you have had with Lord Lucifer in the comments, please do! i just love hearing about him <3
