curious about something

feel free to share your PD and your parents' PD/suspected PD if you feel comfortable. i just thought this poll might be an interesting idea considering PDs are believed to be born from a mix of genetic and environmental factors. personally, i have a mix from all the clusters and neither of my parents were diagnosed with a PD, but i've gone over the BPD criteria with my mother and we both heavily suspect she has it. we also suspect my father had NPD, but i am admittedly less confident about that one as he had other diagnosed mental health issues that his symptoms could be attributed to.

Is there anyone reading this who has ever called/messaged any kind of help hotline and would be willing to share anything about the experience?

I ask because I have been hesitating to do so myself for a while now (with many different hotlines…trans lifeline, rainn, etc) and I think autistic aversion to unknown/unfamiliar experiences is mostly whats stopping me.

It took less than 2 hours for people to make me turn off reblogs because they kept sharing the unedited version and "correcting" me. Post cancelled I can't keep up with this ignorance.

I’ve noticed a correlation between NPD and nonhumanity on this site, especially while interacting with NPD spaces, and I’ve seen a slight correlation with other PDs as well. I wanted to make a poll just to see if I can get a little more data on this. (I know Tumblr polls are inherently very biased, but I’m still going to make the poll)

CLARIFICATIONS: If you have NPD and a different PD as well, choose the NPD option. PD stands for Personality Disorder, and NPD stands for Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

This is my first time doing a poll, so it may not be the most polished or whatever (it’s also 4AM when I’m posting this)

Also, the option that applies to me is that I have NPD and am nonhuman
