Hello Newsies of Tumblr! If you already know about the Newsies Halloween 2024 event. @blinkinbrothershark is the offical writer for the newspaper articles, and I ( @scottyzoomz ) is the official designer for the newspapers. It's just the two of us for now. I know it's almost May and end of the year tests are coming up and it sucks. We need some assistance on the designs, writing, etc. It's just the two of us for now, but any sort of assistance may come in handy, the more people the better. Whump: The Musical Prompts!!

As stated before, this challenge will run from March 1- March 31, 2024. All fandoms are welcome to participate despite it being prompts based off of musicals. Once again, all types of media are allowed. This challenge has the standard "choose one for the day" style, but feel free to do all three prompts if that's what you want to do!! All types of whump are allowed, but please be respectful to your fellow audience members and properly tag it!! Some of these prompts are sensitive, so make sure you warn your readers correctly! In December of 1899, the halls of 9 Duane Street Lodging House echoed with the voices of newsies. This was the 30th annual holiday feast held for the newsboys and their guests. Kid Blink, among others, gave toasts and speeches, including one entitled "The Strike, When We Licked", no doubt celebrating their successful strike from the summer. The newsies were served a generous feast of turkey, boiled ham, celery, mashed potatoes, turnips, tea, bread and butter, and -- the newsies favorite -- pies.

Hey Gang! Just coming on again to ask if anybody has any ideas for a headline or the name of the newspaper.

If you love the plot of the musical “Newsies” but wish it was less serious, didn’t have a happy ending, was set in a fictional dystopia instead of New York in 1899, had more murder in it, and was about a drought, then boy do I have the musical for you.
