Disaster Twins Karaoke Battle (alt title: Getting Hyped for the Next Lair Games)

These sketches are old, but I couldn't let National TMNT Day pass without showing my appreciation in some way. I drew these some months ago, while listening to the song Stalemate from the Death Note musical yes, that's a thing, go check it out on loop, and forgot to post them. The song is a bop and I could so easily see the twins loving it, and loving to perform it even more. Massive theatre nerds, the both of them, no one can convince me otherwise.

(In my mind, Leo is singing Jeremy's part and Donnie is singing Jarrod's, but it's interchangeable.)

wizardcrepe is huge actually. they should fall asleep after a long night of research together. PV finds them sleeping next to/on top of each other and throws a blanket over them. they make each other coffee and food and forget to feed themselves. they hang out in the observatory in the city of wizards and make predictions of where the next shooting star will appear so they can make a wish on it.

Thinking too much about my headcanon of Wei and Su being rock collectors but having vastly different ways of going about it.

Like Su is a crystal girlie, we've established that. And she has her robust collection of meteors and crystals and genuinely believed in them. Meanwhile Wei is a nerd about it and organises them and wants to study them. I imagine this is one of the only times Wei considers outwardly disagreeing with his mom lol

So since the dystopian scene in the MV for “The Future Is A Foreign Land” most likely has both references to LOTR and 1984, I have propaganda to spread.

He probably went to comic conventions (the first comic con was in 1964, he probably begged Sister and Psaltarian to go to New York with him)

He probably listened to old radio dramas loud as fuck while he was still alive because his hearing wasn’t what it used to be.

Hell, even as a ghost he probably still does it.

Going back to the signed books thing, he definitely cherishes those more than his sons. If the ministry is on fire and he had to choose between his signed copy of the hobbit and all four of his sons? The hobbit wins.
