neopronoun lesbian + rainbowcore
flag credit: @ursbian
Neopronouns: Newly formed third-person personal pronouns beyond those that already exist in a language. In English, neopronouns replace the existing "she," "he," and "they." Neopronouns date back to the 18th century, where the first instance of "ou" was recorded as a pronoun in 1789. Other historic neopronouns include "thon," "ze," "he'er," and a number of others. Modern examples of neopronouns can range from Spivak pronouns like "ey/em," nounself pronouns like "bun/bunself," or even emoji pronouns like "🍓/🍓s."
Lesbian: Someone who experiences queer attraction to women, and identifies as wlw, nlw, and/or a lesbian

I recently had an exclusionary jackass under one of my posts and i always like to put more positivity than negativity into the world so. nonbinary lesbians you are absolutely stunning!! you have the right to be lesbians no matter what anyone else says. and this is also esp to you transmasc, multigender, mspec, and pronoun nonconforming lesbians. keep up the good work!!!

i love when intersex people try to talk about our issues people try to hit us with a "that doesn't count, that would be like 0.01% of the population you're talking about," ahh response, which I have personally received several times at this point.
everyone loves to be confident to pull some bullshit statistic out of their ass to be dismissive, but it's funny because they never do a second of research. the United Nations Human Rights Office estimates 1.7% of the population are born intersex:
Tumblr media
even if the numbers were any lower, it would still be worth talking about intersex issues. any amount of people with these experiences are worth representing and discussing. we should not have to be invisible because our conditions are so stigmatized that many of us receive "Corrective" procedures just after birth, during childhood, or puberty. so many of us are swept under the rug, that's part of the reason why the statistics vary depending on which area is reporting the statistics.
you can't weaponize how marginalized someone is against them. if we fight for people with the most specific gender identities that can't be easily explained in one or two words, we must include intersex people. if we include people who use unique pronouns not seen in current common vernacular, we must support intersex people. if we support other queer minorities, we must support intersex people.
it's not an option. you can act like we are a statistic on a page, a number you can't possibly fathom in your mind, but we are all around you. everywhere. existing in real time. we are not fossils. we are not extinct.
you don't have the pleasure of ignoring us anymore. intersex rights are human rights, and sometimes, they're queer rights, too.

Lemme remind you all that the definition of 'queer' is literally 'odd'. Queer was and still sometimes is used as a synonym for 'odd'.
Gays are queer.
Lesbians are queer.
Bisexuals are queer.
Pansexuals are queer.
Nonbinary, genderfluid, agender and other genderqueer people are queer.
Intersex people are queer.
People who use neopronouns of any kind are queer
Transgender people, transfem or transmasc, are queer.
Asexuals are queer.
Aromantics are queer.
Aroaces are queer.
It doesn't matter what a person's sexuality, romantic interests or gender is. If it's not 'the norm', they are queer. It's the definition of the word for God's sake!
Be who you are, that's cool as shit.

I’m a trans man that has had dysphoria since I was a child. I am a trans man that was boyish growing up. I am a trans man in an unaccepting household. I am a trans man who strictly uses he/him. I am a trans man that is strictly masculine. I am a trans man that is gay because I am a man that likes men.
I am the “real trans person” that you people claim you are defending, but I really just want you to shut up.
When it comes down to it I will be discriminated against the same as a feminine trans man, masculine trans woman, anyone on the aromantic and/or asexual spectrum no matter their identity, someone who uses neopronouns or xenogenders, etc.
Coming from the trans/gay person you claim you’re defending: I don’t want you. You make things worse for all of us. My oppression is not “worse” than any other queer persons’s. Go do something actually meaningful with your time instead of trying to tear a community apart

how on earth are we still having aspec and mspec and neopronoun discourse it's almost 2024 do you guys understand that we need to embrace all sides of the queer community or the infighting will get us all killed. do you get that. lawmakers want all of us dead whether we're queers with palatable easy to understand identities or cishet alloaro men or he/him lesbians or genderfluid fagdykes with emojiself pronouns. in a world that's trying to erase us all we have is each other Do You Understand That. please be kind to people with identities you might not understand or agree with because they deserve to live freely as much as you do.

QUEER LABELS VALIDITY & REQUIREMENTS MASTERPOST
have you ever wondered "is it okay for me to call myself this label?" "can i identify as [this] if im also [that]?" "is this identity valid?" or various similar sentiments?
well look no further! this post is compiling a list of specifications for different identities along with why you can or cant use certain labels along with other ones, so youll be able to make an informed decision on choosing your labels! (and not call yourself something thats very problematic and harmful to other queers)
As if!
you can do whatever you want forever <3
you know yourself best, only you can decide what labels fit your own experiences and identity :)
other people can offer their perspectives from their own experiences if you want to hear them to try to figure out what you relate to, but no identity has a universal experience! no one can tell you that you cant identify as something!
no one, i repeat NO ONE, ordains the details of queer labels and who can or cant identify as what, or if a label can be used at all or not! not even if they are of the identity theyre trying to enforce rules on!
just because some rando may walk up to the gate of a public park and begin trying to control who can or cant enter doesnt mean its their property!
go, be free and queer, even with the most complex and weird and confusing labels! nothing can tie you down! (unless youre into that)
💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜

If you were someone who was anti-Ace during Ace Discourse and anti-Neopronouns/Xenogenders during Neo/Xeno Discourse and anti-Nonbinary during Nonbinary Discourse, but you've now accepted those things, except now you're Anti-Bi Lesbian, then you never learned why what you were doing was wrong and simply followed the crowd.
You still have internalized phobias that you never addressed, you still have issues regarding controlling other people's queer experiences, and until you actually and genuinely sit back and realize WHY being Anti-Ace, Anti-Neos/Xenos, Anti-Nonbinary etc. Was wrong, you are always going to be the bigot in the community. Learn self introspection, learn why you continued to be against queer identities you didn't understand, or you will always find yourself on the wrong side of the goalpost, and you will never grow.
Take a second to think about an argumentative sentence you've used and replace "bi lesbian" with any other queer identity you used to hate and you'll realize that at the root of it all, it's the same queerphobia but with a new subject to target.

blaming neopronouns and non binary genders and nonhuman genders and bisexual lesbians/gays and multigender gays/lesbians and "weird" queer identities for being the reason why cisheternormative society doesn't respect us is missing the mark by a country mile- the queerphobic cishet people who scream slurs at queer people and attack us don't know what a neopronoun is. they don't know that people identify with nonhuman genders. they don't know what any of these smaller identities are, because they're not spending time inside the community with us. someone who isn't inside of the community doesn't understand our labels. they don't know that genders beyond male and female exist, do you think they know what a xenogender is, and hate our entire community for how "ridiculous" nonhuman genders are? of course not
all they see is "faggot" "tranny" and "dyke". that's all they see. they have no fucking clue what a neopronoun is, or a bigender person, or a bisexual lesbian, or a lesboy, or a girlfag. they can't even wrap their heads around genderfluidity and non binary genders. we are not the reason queerphobia exists, and we will never be the reason cisheteronormative society hates you or any other queer. they hate us because we're queer. that's it. they don't care about what kind of queer we are. they don't respect any of us- especially you. you are not immune to queerphobia. no matter how "normal" of a queer you are. no matter what.

Reminder that your queer identity does not have to "make sense" for it to be valid.
You can identify as "conflicting" identites such as a trans man lesbian.
You can label yourself with the tiniest microlabel that nobody's heard of. (Or come up with your own)
You can identify as a one of the "weird" queer identites.
You can grab any and all labels that you feel fit you.
Or you can use no labels at all.
Being queer means being yourself; you are as valid and as queer as the more "socially acceptable" queers.
