The beard is an essential feature of masculinity, symbolizing maturity and confidence in men. Typically, beard hair begins to grow during adolescence when hormones become active.
However, some men may not develop a thick and full beard, even after reaching adulthood. For such individuals, a beard transplant may be the ideal solution. Beard hair transplant is a popular hair restoration procedure in India.
At QHT Regrow Hair Clinic, our team of expert hair transplant surgeons is renowned for providing natural-looking beard hair transplant in India. Our skilled professionals are dedicated to achieving the best results possible, ensuring that our clients feel confident and satisfied with their new look.

someone asked me what if adam and steve switched vampire and werewolf...
And then since my monsters are purposefully not much visually different because of metaphors, I went more traditional vampire and werewolf...
and then I got carried away...

Trying to imagine if the Pope in Machette's universe is, like, a Pomeranian, and thus shrinks down to a fraction of his original size when wet. Like it rains and everyone is like 'oh, Your Holiness. Oh no'

also like i partially found out i might be intersex because i was looking at trans stuff and there was like "(however many) months on t and finally seeing some bottom growth" and like pictures of t-dicks and i was like.... um.... that's kind of just what my clit looks like anyways. so i was like "hey google give me a quick rundown on this" and learned what clitoromegaly was and then i was like. hm. intersex resources. and it's like a sign? symptom? side-effect? of certain intersex conditions
#i mean like pcos runs in the mums side of my family but i dont have all the symptoms of that#i do also have like. more hair?? than the average afab person#like dark hair on my stomach and chest and back#and my face. whats disappointing about the face hair is that it isnt enough to be able to grow a beard#so i cant even fuck with gender that way#tagging as nsft just because of like genital mention#genital mention#nsft#shoutout to transmascs on t who show their t-dicks on the internet it was really helpful#also i dont know how to describe it but like. my natural face shape is kind of masculine??#like it would be plausible for a cis amab perisex man to have my face without looking feminine#if you get what im saying??#if it sounds like im reinforcing sex or gender essentialism please say i am struggling to find words#unshoutout to the boys in primary school who made fun of me for having hair under my arms and starting a whole decade of insecurity-#-about having hair on my body lmao#for the record i dont think certain face shapes are indicative of gender and all im just going by like. patterns?? in afab vs. amab faces#also not that i think afab vs. amab is the entire categorisation of human sex characteristics but um. working with what vocab i have here#i think what also really kicked it off. was relating to a fair few experiences intersex people have socially#particularly intersex ppl who were afab and faced a lot of pressure to make their bodies conform to feminine beauty standards#and it was like.... oh lol.... my mum did that to me!!#it comes from her own internalised shit bc she has pcos (idk if she identifies as intersex even tho she could if she wanted) but still.#dont project that onto a 10 yr old lmao. she keeps buying me hair removal products#ALSO floored by an experience i have. in which apparently half my friends dont feel pressure to shave their legs#because the hair on their legs is like. light and thin and barely visible and i was like?? huh??#what do you MEAN your legs don't look like your brothers/fathers if you dont shave??#im starting to think they dont shave their arms. their arms might just naturally not have a load of hair#i dont shave my arms though. cannot be bothered with that and also like. why would i do that#also you know that like. happy trail i think its called?? on “men's” stomachs??#yeah i have that naturally yeah thats right im naturally sexy#if you cant tell i am putting “girls” “mens” “boys” “womens” etc. in quotes to indicate that is just the normal society way of saying it

Out of the few photos I took, the most were of this one singular turkey. I can't help it, I love turkeys! We saw a bunch of them (and not much else) this time around, but we sat and ate lunch with this little dude.

OFMD Spiral Narrative 42: Sandy Beards and Self-Hatred
Intro: What I love most about how season 2 builds on season 1 of OFMD is the spiral narrative structure. Ground is repeatedly and explicitly re-trod from season 1 to season 2, but in season 2 everything goes deeper than season 1. Meanings are shuffled, emotions are stronger and truer, and transformation is showcased above everything. The first season plucks certain notes, then the second season plucks the same ones--but louder, and then it weaves them together to create a symphony.
---
Ed wakes up with a beardful of sand twice, once each season. Why is he lying on a beach? For the same reason, both times: self-hatred mixed with fatalism.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first time Ed wakes up on a beach, it's because he left Stede the night before. Why? Well, partly out of obligation to an old pirate friend who invoked a once-non-toxic (presumably) relationship. But mostly because he thinks he's a Bad Person, and therefore that he is doomed to rejection (and that he can't trust Stede, or himself), so might as well get it over with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second time Ed wakes up on a beach, it's because he provoked his crew to mutiny and murder. Why? Well, because he spent weeks/months proving himself a bad person (partly out of obligation to an old pirate friend who invoked a once-non-toxic (sort of) relationship), and therefore he is doomed to destruction one way or another, and life hurts right now, so might as well get it over with.
The first time Ed wakes up, he ends up talking to Calico Jack. Jack fails to get food for breakfast, and instead pressures Ed into drinking for breakfast. It's all an enactment of emptiness, the internal hollowness of "I've lost something important" translated onscreen into an empty stomach and a crappy friend.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second time Ed wakes up, he thinks he's talking to Captain Hornigold--but really he's talking to himself. And even though Hornigold represents Ed's self-hatred, he's the one who pulls Ed off the beach and makes him eat something (like how Jack made him drink something) that'll actually help him. He's punishing Ed by forcing him to go on, but at the same time he's saving Ed.
The whole thing is an external manifestation of Ed's conflicted internal state: only going on because he's forcing himself to, but not wanting to actually commit suicide; longing for someone to help him, but not believing that anyone who'd care to help him would be trustworthy.
Each time Ed wakes up, he's trapped in a prison of his own devising with a reflection of his own self-hatred. The first time, Ed can just reject that reflection and dive into the water. And it's easy, because he's doing it to help Stede. He doesn't have to deal with why he left, with the self-hatred or the fatalism, he just has to have hope for someone else.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second time, Ed's trap is stronger and deeper in his mind. He's not really on an island or in the water: this is all him. Once again, the escape is the water--but while in the first episode that was just swimming, running away to delay his reckoning with his own dark self, in the second episode he's drowning because it's the only way he can see to reckon with his own dark self, to quiet the internal conflict. There's only him, and hopelessness.
The first time Ed was cut adrift to wash up on the shores of his own darkness, Stede just stood and watched, consumed by his own hurt.
Tumblr media
The second time, he brings light with him, and makes the dark not so dark after all.
