I’m pretty sure someone asked my opinion about them before and I think it’s a great ship because they both have a love of weapons, even though his is more specific. Also they’re both not so serious.

The only downside is that Suigetsu sort of has a murder itch and Tenten is a “good guy” 💀 but that can be turned into a more humorous mission combination of him trying to do better but the urge and Tenten catching him/being like “NO! Bad! This isn’t that kind of mission. Just knock him out and let’s get out of here 😤”

I don’t think showing the fangirls and Bakugou not dealing with the attention well was meant to show that Bakugou had changed. I don’t think even arrogant Bakugou would like fangirls given how he reacted to Best Jeanist soaking in the attention from his own fangirls during their internship. Even the light novels (although they are not always well written) point out he has never cared for romance or any type of relationship, not even romantic attention.

I think it’s more to establish Bakugou as the typical celibate rival who isn’t interested in anyone and in the same chapter establish Deku as interested in Uraraka instead.

Ok so Iam going to be answering two of your asks in one post.

It honestly depends but I think there's more than one way to interpret that scene. Yes one of the interpretation in my opinion is to show how bakugo has changed in the sense that he isn't using his quirks on the fans or anything but simply being annoyed and saying that they should be expelled. Honestly I still don't buy bakugos Change but whatever.

Second interpretation is like you said that he is shown to be the celibate rival whose always there and will only prioritise hero work and his rivalry bs. Low-key this ain't even a good look for bakugo because it heavily reminds me of enji todoroki who didn't care for anything except of beating all might. I fear( not really)bakugo may never beat the enji parallels allegations.

Lol however I love one thing that's always been consistent is the fact that bakugo cannonically gets no girls attention and Iam digging it😆😆😆it's so funny and Iam not even sure why but it also makes sense.

I wouldn't say that this chapter actually establishes a romantic relationship between ochako and izuku or is going to establish one and in all honesty i pray thay it doesn't. Like the poor girl is crying and sobbing over someone who died and confessed to her and izuku is nowhere in the mental space to be dealing with anything, the guy literally views himself as a cold hearted murder who doesn't deserve to be admired. The relationship also is practically non existent and the ship in my opinion lacks development and is vanilla (izumei is better tbh) but yeah i hope we dont get a lobe confession from any of them as it just wouldnt make sense and wasn't ochakos whole thing about developing out of her crush??!?!

I am of course hugely fond of the crew bonding into a stronger community and embracing Izzy as one of them. Love that they are demonstrating their conflict resolution skills and mutual support, and love even more that they do the main foundational work in the absence of the captains - first during the breakup boat era with the trauma bonding and saving Izzy's life in direct defiance of Edward, and then resolving their divides and trust issues after chasing off Edward (and by extension Stede) in 2x04.

It is SO good to see them becoming a unified front who can push back against the bosses (especially since per comedy rules Stede & Edward are probably not going to stop being self-centered no matter how democratic the ship gets 😆).

But I will say it's still very funny when people give them credit for overcoming their strong negative feelings for Izzy, because like...

I don't think those were really a factor, guys 🤣🤣🤣

The show has thrown a bit of a complication into my theory of socially acceptable mutiny in S2 (which I will probably look at more once the season wraps up), but that's mostly because the rules of "how piracy functions" are not a priority for canon to establish. I'm threading together jokes into a watsonian social system because that's fun for me. 🤷‍♀️ So even though my particular explanation is going to have to adapt, the underlying joke still rings true - the mutiny against Izzy is a disproportionately violent response to what he's doing.

Or to put it another way... Yeah, they try to murder him because they don't want to work for him (or, as several of them say, for Black Pete 😆), but it's not really anything personal. Just business.

Meaning that once he's removed from captaincy, he's back to just being a coworker who's kind of a dick. They're not friends leaving S1, but they probably don't hate him?

(Also like the Navy Plot is a lot of things but it was not a reckless endangering of the crew.)

Plus in Izzy's mind, the vast majority of his side of the conflict in S1 is rooted in either 1) Edward leaving him in an ambiguous position of non-authority by refraining from acting as Captain of the ship despite the fact everyone thinks Edward has captured them until 1x07 at least, or 2) Izzy's fairly reasonable belief that all of these guys are going to die when Stede does and are particularly stupid prisoners, not fellow crew.

Both of those problems resolve completely by 1x10. Which in retrospect probably explains a lot of the apparent Izzy-crew relationship shift between S1 and S2 for anyone still not quite clicking on that front.

(Seriously, if you like Izzy in S2 but don't get what changed from S1, try watching S1 again with the things they've made canon about his personality in mind - being in love with Edward, etc. There was a coherent subtext and it's very fun to watch.)

It's really not surprising at all that lingering animosity with Izzy isn't a problem after his short lived time in charge 🤷‍♀️ or that he gets folded into the union. After everything they've been through with Edward they feel he's not on Management's side, and he does advocate for the crew once they are, you know, actually crew.

There are many possibilities for when and where you met him, but for the sake of this specific question, let’s say you’re on the run.

Jinho sees all types of people trying to flee to South Korea. People of different social statuses, genders, ages, races, anyone and everyone. 

All of these people have one thing in common - they aren’t good people.

Cheaters, liars, thieves, murderers, stalkers. He’s seen them all.

He’s long since past the point of caring about any of them. Why would he have to? He kicks them off the boat after they’ve served their purpose. And it’s not as if they can complain either. It’s him or the government, or worse, the people they try so desperately to run from.

So many different people have crossed his path, and all of them have faced the same fate. Inevitably, all of them end up the same way. 

All of them, except for you.

You were quiet. Reserved and withdrawn.

Not unusual in itself, plenty of girls your age were. Being self-conscious wasn’t strange. In fact, being hyperaware was a helpful trait to have in any scenario.

But it backfired. 

Being quiet and aware was fine, but it could easily be twisted into something darker. 

Anyone who knew you would say that you were shy, sweet and slightly anxious. Anyone who knew you would know that you could never do something like this. You knew you would never do something like this.

But all of the facts just happened to conveniently line up. Every last bit of evidence pointed to you.

Really, never in your life would you believe the fact that you were being considered as a murder suspect, but the facts didn’t lie, and apparently neither did the witnesses.

Regardless of whether you did it or not, you were in trouble.

And so, you were presented with two choices: accept the charges and go to prison for a crime you didn’t commit, or try and run.

You chose the latter.

The interest he takes in you is immediate and crippling.

Something about you is just so alluring - you're so sweet, so soft. Oh, he gets so worked up just thinking about it.

Now, if pressed, he wouldn't be able to tell anyone what exactly had drawn him to you in the first place.

Maybe the way you were so glaringly out of place on his ship? Many different kinds of people came to him, looking for an escape - thieves, beggars, murderers, terrorists, cheaters. You were clearly none of those things, all skittish and shy, saying please and thank you to a bunch of criminals with a smile.

He could have laughed if it didn't infuriate him.

Maybe he was drawn in by the way you cared so deeply for people you hardly knew. One of his men got caught in the lowering net and got hurt? You were there, tending to his injuries. One of your fellow stowaways got food poisoning, made worse by sea sickness? You were by his side, handing him water and kind words while you rubbed his back.

You were so kind. Too kind.

It made him sick.

He wanted you all for himself. No one deserved your kindness but him.

Or maybe it was the way you quaked and cried when they started throwing people overboard.

Yes, that must have been it.

Well, not quite.

While it was true that they threw the stowaways overboard, and you stood there, plastered to the cabin door, all shaking legs and wobbly lips, what piqued his interest more than all that was the fact that you never once begged for them to spare you.

There was something to be said for your pride.

You were terrified, that much was clear - but you didn't beg them to let you live, or plead with him on your knees. You lifted your head and accepted your fate, not even letting out a scream or whimper.

Truly, he couldn't decide in that moment if he loved or hated you.

Love, apparently, if the present day were anything to go by.

He liked dressing you in such small, scanty clothing. Really, the scraps of fabric he handed you when you arrived in his apartment could barely be called clothing at all.

Something about the way he stared at you made your bones itch. When his eyes followed you as you walked from the kitchen to the couch, the way his fingers prodded lazily at the thin fabric bunched up at your waist - you felt sick just thinking about it.

But that seemed to make him even more eager.

He always held it over your head - the fact that he provided for you, the fact that he chose to keep you safe and let you live.

Your clothing? He gave you.

The food you ate? He bought and prepared for you. Hell, he even fed you, as if you were a child. Though, you suspected that he did that only because he loved how flustered you'd become.

The bed you slept in? The house you lived in? The books you read and the hobbies you could enjoy peacefully?

Him.

You had it all because he gave it to you.

Because he cared for you.

Loved you.

The sentiment was lost on you.

What you hated more than his not so subtle manipulation though, had to be the way he taunted you when he didn't get his way.

He could be so cruel, commenting on how you'd gotten into this situation, saying that if you didn't start showing your appreciation, he might be forced to hand you over to the authorities.

That always made you cry.

But more than that, it made you pliant, willing.

For a while after he pulled that card, you wouldn't argue or fight back when he took what he wanted. That was his trump card, one that he didn't play very often, mainly because you'd be all teary and anxious for at least a few weeks after that.

But that's why he loved you.

You were just so fun to play with, to tease and work up and break down.

And the best part of it was that, at the end of it all, you'd still treat him so kindly. You'd still crawl into bed and cuddle up to him, still kiss him gently, just how you knew he liked it.

Because despite the fact that majority of your situation was his fault, you were grateful.

You were grateful that he'd taken you in and chosen to protect you.

He took care of you, and you took care of him.

And if you were to ask him why he did it?

Well, because he loved you, of course. And the things he loved deserved the best.

Thank you so much!! <3 My original plan was to never break up Raph and Alopex because I feel like too many serialized stories in monthly comics and TV shows always do that, they always FINALLY get the two characters together after however long of will-they-won't-they, and then quickly break them up because the writers don't know what to do with a nice, regular romantic relationship. I hate that!

But after the stuff with Saki being part of the team, I just couldn't reconcile it with Alopex as a character and what she'd gone through with him. Having that drive her away from the Turtles was the only thing that made sense to me. The stuff with Saki becoming "good" was actually an editorial direction thing, I didn't want to do it and I resisted it at first but tried my best to make it work. Alopex leaving the group was also sort of partly a metaphor for my own thoughts about it, a retaliation against the Turtles teaming up with the person who murdered them and abused Alopex. I kinda felt cornered by that storyline and I just couldn't write Alopex staying with Raph (and the Turtles group overall) after that, I felt like it would've been a disservice to the character to have her suck it up. She HAD to put her foot down.

The Leo/Koya thing actually started out as more of a joke on twitter until I realized there were fans who genuinely shipped them, haha. It's still kind of a running gag, I don't think I would ever show them in present day getting together or anything, but having them as a couple decades down the line in the future time period felt like a nice way to cap it off. In my original script Koya wasn't even in that scene, it was going to be a grown-up adult Rahzar, until I decided to add Koya/Leo in there for one particular superfan (hi Paty!!).

Who is the Preacher Master?

The Master spent quite a lot of time flittering between reality and the vortex while the Doctor was off on jollies.

🎤 Breaking Up the Band

After the band broke up, the Master eventually reunited with various versions of himself, including the War Master and Missy to confront the Ravenous (apparently, musical differences were put aside). After assisting his future selves and ensuring the preservation of their timeline, his mind was wiped, and his own future selves threw him back into the Time Vortex. Ugh.

🌌 Trapped in the Vortex ... Again

During this time, he began to make psychic contact with a human named Lila Kreeg, whom he manipulated to free him. With her help and some casual murder, he escaped, taking the identity of a high-flying businessman named Magnus Drake and transforming the company into an influential force on Earth.

Unfortunately, the Daleks then invaded, and as a result of this, he was betrayed by Lila and shoved back into the vortex again, where he broke down into pure essence.

🔥 He's in the Vortex Again

After yet another stint trapped in the Vortex, the Master's essence was eventually reconstituted by the ship Kairos. Here, he began feeding on the life force of the crew, once again manipulating those around him to regain his full power. Eventually, the Master was once again tricked and thrown back into the Vortex into pieces again.

🌟 And Again ...

The Master’s essence was eventually rescued from the Vortex by Esterath, a powerful entity preparing him for the battle over 'The Glory,' an artefact capable of controlling the Omniverse. With a new body and renewed ambition, the Preacher!Master emerged—driven by his goal of becoming the ruler of the Omniverse.

You can bet that didn't go well either. At least he didn't get thrown back into the vortex again.

By the way, I did see the possibility of her being Jerrod's murderer somewhere around and it's honestly something I would have been willing to see.

The funny part is that I don't know how I came up with these ideas, I just imagined them in a scenario that was interesting to me.

I like to imagine that Tanya wasn't Mileena's first love, because we sapphics always suffer with our first love before we have our "happy ending" (lol), but in a scenario where Jade actually killed Jerrod, their former relationship would only be tragic, since Jade technically killed the father of the woman she once loved.

And Reiko, I think I went too far here 😆 But since Netherrealm Studios loves random couples (my shipper heart likes some of them) I don't doubt that Jade and Reiko could happen if KP3 wasn't canceled, and as you said, aesthetically it's good and I like it, because it's the soldier X assassin.

I still have hope that NRS will go back on their decision and release at least Jade (I'm being delulu.)

currently watching: i'm in that face where i'm watching a bunch of stuff simultaneously. i'm occasionally watching lucifer, watched the first ep of the one piece live action, rewatching good omens ad infinitum, watched half a season of outlander last week, and also finishing s3 and starting on s4 of the handmaid's tale. watched an episode of torchwood to know what was it about, too. as for anime, i watched the first episodes of Undead Girl Murder Farce and AI no Idenshi.
