Bryce grew up watching her Mama get all dolled up for galas and always connected with that in a way that people say boys shouldn't. Listen Thomas and Martha were definitely the type of parents that didn't care abt gender norms and would let their kid dress however they want. Thomas probably rocked a few dresses in his time.

So Bryce tells them that she feels more like a girl than a boy? They're so accommodating. They get her whatever she needs. The surgery, the drugs, the clothes (but she prefers to wear Martha's too big dresses). Alfred switches from Young Master to Young Madam. It would hit even harder when Thomas and Martha die because those were two of the three people who truly understood her. And now they're gone.

After they die, people feel a bit more comfortable bringing up her 'changes' to her face. Alfred is right by her side but she did have some uncomfortable moments with people. Thomas and Martha definitely protected her from a lot of the media attention and stares.

She still becomes The Bat. I can see her going by Batman to protect her identity even more but also sticking with gender neutral The Bat. People can't tell if The Bat is man or woman which elevates the cryptid vibe she's going for.

The day Martha's dresses fit her perfectly is a bittersweet day. All Bryce has ever wanted is to wear her Mama's dresses properly and now that she can, her Mama isn't there anymore. She sobs into Alfred's arms that day but after that, wears Martha's dresses with pride.

By the time she adopts Dick, she passes so well that he doesn't know she's trans. And it just kind of never comes up? He calls her Mama (which she cries at) or B and that's what all the other kids end up doing. There's some LoA magic/tech involved in Talia giving birth to Damian. He shows up at the manor and upon finding out that Batman is actually a woman, he's impressed.

They find out when the batfam decide to dye their suits for Gotham's Pride Parade and Bryce's suit is the trans flag and her cape is the demiromantic flag. There was a lot of screaming that day.

Jason tries but he just can't fight his Mama, no matter how angry he is at her for not killing the Joker. He spends some time away from the manor but after a lot of talks, screaming, tears and hugs, he comes around. He is also very protective over his Mama, I won't accept otherwise (they all are tbh)

Also let her be tiny?? 5'2, buff Bryce Wayne picking her 6ft+ sons up easily. A tabloid got a picture of Bryce holding Dick up after an attack at the museum by The Riddler. She's in a pretty floral dress, with pink pumps and soot all over her face and her muscled arms covered in blood and scratches. The internet went insane.

Also rip the batkids cause Bryce mothers all their friends too. Shit hits the fan when Jason nearly strangles Garfield cause Bryce gave him a forehead kiss to check if he had a fever.

Bruce had never been to The Eclipse before.

The club was similar to that of a gentleman’s club from the starting years of America, filled with dozens of tables all curved and ready for a game or feast. The three floors of the place each had a game room, a bar and a section for private rooms for the more seedy type of talks to be had.

It was one of the few non-criminal funded place in Gotham that was still rich. Deals definitely went down, but it was more fitting for gossip that anything else.

Often people went there for catch ups in a refined setting.

Bruce was there for a catch up, or more accurately, a reuniting with his son.

Tim had sent Bruce a time, date and location and said he was only going to meet with him and no one else. Considering Bruce hadn’t seen his beloved son in nearly four years, including his time in the time stream, he accepted without argument.

Tim said he would look different but that if Bruce was as good of a detective as he says, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Bruce had no idea what his son meant until a woman let him inside and told him that ‘Drake had asked you to find him yourself’ with a confused bend in her eyebrows.

It took him a little longer than he’d be happy to admit, although still less than forty seconds, to find his son.

Or maybe that was the wrong word now, if the regal young woman staring at her drink was anything to go by.

Like something out of a vintage movie, the woman had curled black hair and dark red lipsticks. Her dark eyeshadow matched her sweetheart collar dress, black with thick straps and tight enough that each breath was visible.

The gloves on her hand were long and black, one putting a stark contrast to the pink coloured cigarette lit in her hand.

Everything about her screamed old money.

Bruce only knew it was Tim because of the sweet blue eyes and shape of his jaw, though there was also some kind of… paternal instinct in play.

Tim only looked up when he put a hand on the rounded couch, Jim’s tearing nervously down at his distinguished looking child.

It was when she smiled, a real thing that was just highlighted by her dark red lips, that Bruce knew he wasn’t mistaken.

“Hi Bruce.”

A lighter voice, not soft so much as smooth, and nothing like the more monotone sound he was used to.

“Ti-… hi.”

She smiles and gestures for him to sit before taking a final drag of her smoke and putting it out.

Bruce stares at for just a second before looking at his child. Despite the shock of the obvious changes, he notices something far more important, “You look healthy.”

Well fed, clean, nourished.

Like she’s gotten sleep.

“I am. I’ve done a lot of work on myself and it’s paid off.”

Bruce smiles, genuine and almost a little painful, “I can see that. What… what do I call you?”

“Charlotte. Charlotte Jackson Drake.”

“A beautiful name.”

Charlotte smiles before a serious look comes over her face, “Bruce. I haven’t just changed my lifestyle and body, I’ve changed how I look at the world and I’ve come to understand a lot more in my life now.”

Never has Bruce been so attentive, ears feeling on fire as he does his best to focus on every word spoken to him.

“The main thing I’ve come to understand is you.”

Bruce doesn’t move, scared to make his daughter stop talking to him and so he just does his best to show he’s listening.

Charlotte continues, “I get why you brought all of us in. It wasn’t just to protect us from the world, but from ourselves. I can see now that you are only crazy because you’ve been given the impossible challenge of being a necessity in Gotham and the worlds survival and a pretty. It doesn’t change that you’ve made mistakes and fucked up, but I get why now. You didn’t want us to apart of Batman, but we forced you, me most of all.”

Bruce is more than stunned by the honesty and understanding in Charlotte’s words, but the fact that he himself only figured that out after loosing Jason.

She smiles at him like she could read his mind, “It took me a long time and I still have anger towards you, yet I want you in my life all the same.”

A gloved hand comes to hold onto his own, delicate and gentle in a way that reminds him of his mother all those years ago.

Charlottes smiles is far too sad to be hers though, “I’m not the boy you once knew, not just because of the woman I want to be now. I don’t want to help you, to save you and parent you, I want to know you. As my father. If-if you’ll allow it?”

Bruce has cried in public before, several times in fact, but normally it’s to play up his over emotional persona.

This time it’s pure relief.

“Of course. Anything you want, at any pace you want, I- what ever you need.”

Charlotte smiles and squeezes his hand, “Thank you.”

Bruce eventually huffs a laugh and wipes his eyes, “god, you really are good at catching me off guard.”

She laughs, a honey like noise that makes him realises he’s never heard Tim smile and that maybe his daughter could only do that once she be same ‘her’.

The two order drinks and Bruce is given the tale of how Charlotte came to be, of how sometimes she misses being Tim but never wants to go back. He learns that she chose her name based on what she would ah e been if she was born a girl so she wouldn’t feel like she was betraying her parents.

Bruce learns that she is still a hero, operating as Red Robin, but that she focuses on prolonged crimes like trafficking rings and makes sure to take them down in on go instead of busting a few and giving the rest a chance to escape.

He’s not so happy to hear that she isn’t ready to talk to the others and that she only really talks to Cass and Duke as both of them have always been on her side and are truely his siblings.

Yet he respects it, if only to keep her close and show her the love he failed to give.

Respecting his daughter’s privacy, he doesn’t tell his other kids anything about what happened and acts ignorant when there’s a few articles about the mysterious Charlotte Drake and her distant relation to the private Tim Drake.

He meets with his little girl, his Lottie, once a week at The Eclipse and talks with her about their businesses both in the literal sense and more broadly.

He meets Bernard and can’t quite see what it is about the strange boy that makes his daughter so happy, but all he needs is to see her big smile and know it doesn’t matter.

That and the several background checks he did.

Trans Bryce just heavily pregnant with Damian and instead of Talia being mean and stealing the child, they raise Damian together.

I can't take away Talia's meanness, that's like taking the beard off of Santa. She's a bitch but we love her for it.

With some LoA magic/tech Bryce ends up pregnant with her and Talia's baby. Her and Talia sit all the other kids down and let them know that she's having a baby. The only one upset is Dick and that's because "of all people to have a baby with, you just had to pick Talia?? Seriously B?"

She informs the JL and with Dick, Jason and Kon of all people tossing the cowl around for nine months, she's free to relax (don't ask abt Kon, he wanted to know what it felt like to be Batman)

Talia is murderous, a bit crazy and a bitch but she's also doting and waits on Bryce hand and foot. She treats her like a queen. Massages, late night cravings, carrying Bryce from place to place, she does it. Her and Dick fighting over who gets to help Bryce. Bryce tried arguing against them helping her with every little thing but realised it was a losing battle.

Bryce doesn't allow Ra's anywhere near her, no matter how many times he tries to see them. The amount of ninjas Talia has disposed of for bothering her beloved only increases with every passing month. They do send him a picture of baby Damian once he's born though. He has it framed.

Bryce tries but she can't keep Talia from spoiling Damian to all hell. She does put her foot down on the training though. They have multiple arguments about it but she doesn't budge.

Talia: beloved at least let him have the sword!

Bryce: he'll get the sword once he's 13 like a normal child

Clark: ok but you do see how that's not actually normal tho right?

Talia being free from Ra's and the LoA and being able to be an outwardly caring and loving mom. She definitely had vulnerable moments where she worried about if she could truly be a good mother with her upbringing and personality. Bryce talks and kisses those concerns away every time.

(Dick constantly claims that Bryce's genes must have done all the heavy lifting bc there's no way that Talia made such a cute baby)

Tech has his datapad out and Echo can just make out his eyes, narrowed in confusion as he taps furiously on the screen. ‘That’s not good,’ Tech says finally.

‘What’s wrong?’ Payt asks.

Tech shakes his head. ‘Something is interfering with my scans. I can’t generate a blueprint of the building. We’re going to have to do a blind sweep to find the datacore. If  there is one left to be found,’ he adds with undisguised doubt.

‘Can we just... drive?’ Bruce had asked when Clark had opened his apartment door at 2 in the morning. ‘Can we just be us for a while?’

Now, Clark’s thigh burned where Bruce’s hand rested, his thumb rubbing absent circles through the fabric of Clark’s sleep pants. A brief glance at the speedometer had Clark’s stomach swooping as the needle steadily climbed further into the triple-digits. The tension in Bruce’s shoulders conversely seemed to relax the harder he worked the exquisite engine, one hand on the wheel with a casualness that had Clark’s mind summoning visions of half a million dollars’ worth of wreckage and Bruce’s limp body thrown high into the trees that surrounded the road.

They hurtled around a corner, and Clark focused on not gripping the door handle with enough force to do damage.

even after how the show ended 4 years ago with Ras showing up and all. bruce and the producers of the show thought that it would be a good idea to restart the show. however, to the fact of everything that happened with the show when it first aired people have their eyes out for Dami and Tim even though they did not want to do the show.

this isn't anything deep literally straight self indulgent fuvbhsienjof not based off of anything canon either literally just smth im writing down for the fun  gender queer dick Greyson just like me fr bfhignsdjfomk I also like making characters I like trans too so uh, congrats dick Greyson you get the “hes so silly and goofy and I throw him into walls at high speeds so now he gets gender times tm” treatment. for this particular brand bc I have seen ftm and mtf dick Greyson (which are funky, I tend to go for ftm just bc projecting/just like me fr) but like I just think it would be neat if its like dick Greyson with the “I know im not cis, but its weird and not a clean fit into a box kinda ordeal” bc like (projecting here) sometimes he doesn't really feel more or less masculine/feminine just kinda there, but other times depending on mood/situation he feels more masculine/feminine but uses he/him and they/them pronouns. like sometimes he feels really confident and shit and other times its dysphoric. idk if has top surgery or not lmao. bc on one hand, Bruce Wayne would totally have the money/support his kid and on the other hand, hee hoo projecting onto dick Greyson and binder usage. I just think having no real clear way to accurately describe his gender is neat bc it's just like me fr hbinfjdm. also the whole projecting my gender onto characters I like isn't exclusive to dick Greyson ive done this too pretty much every character ive liked they all just have different gender stages projected onto them and dick just gets my most recent gender fuckery. lol. he is on my mind fr bhfinjdm. also think for convenience he would say hes nonbinary/trans but hes not like sure those fit 100% but fuck it man he doesn't know what else to call his gender(projection is a sport and im one of the top athletes). in my mind I think he would dress like the lesbian version of a gay uncle.
