I think I have come to the conclusion that everyone is just filled with hate. I obviously expect it from MAGA supporters at this point as I have determined that is their entire platform and all that really matters to them. Fuck the economy and raise prices by 25% across the board? Doesn't matter, because the hate the minorities. Raise taxes on all but the billionaire elite? That's fine because they hate trans people. It doesn't matter how much their own interests get fucked as long as the people they hate get fucked harder.

I am more surprised to see how much hate I am seeing from people towards Americans in general with no distinction of which side we are on. I can only believe those people don't actually give a shit about the Americans that are also being victimized here, they just wanted another excuse to hate another group of people.

I saw someone I used to follow saying all Americans are evil and complicit in what is happening... I don't believe that I am, but also to say my gay and trans friends are complicit in their own genocide is offensive at best. Especially since I bet a lot of these same people are the ones who were saying that we shouldn't vote for democrats in the past election because both sides are equally bad. To me THAT is being complicit.

No, none of that matters to most people I think. All that matters is they can feel justified in hating someone else, and better about themselves in the process and that those they hate get fucked no matter the costs.
