you think you'd trade your autonomy for love but the second you do you'll miss it every second of every day. you will be beaten down into the ground until you can no longer pull yourself back up. you will lose a part of yourself forever. its not worth it. you dont know what you're saying. its hard being a young trans girl who feels alone in the world but the last thing you need to do is trade one of the most important pieces of being a person for the most bottom of the barrel relationship possible. have more respect for yourself because you deserve better

Ah, the California Scrub Jay. A vibrant, intelligent, and charismatic corvid. Tumblr's pro-corvid lobby will no doubt boost this wondrous fellow's numbers- but can you blame them? They're stylish, and they know it. Their social units are well known sights across the state, and they exhibit complex group behavior. A solid, if a little basic, choice.

The crisp, black and white colors of a Black Phoebe portray a simple elegance in plumage, that is a welcome sight amongst feathers that tend to either be mottled brown or garish. A personal favorite, these are the fellows I think of when I think "flycatcher". Common on fenceposts and bushes near open fields, they're often seen darting off from their perches, snatching at insects, and then pivoting and returning to their post. A Phoebe in flight is a visual delight, and the agility and skill demonstrated in their turns, loops, and darts makes them fun to watch.
