As someone who saw an early screening of the movie yesterday I can DEFINITELY confirmed this guy was the best written villain I have ever scene. He was on some Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda level stuff. Straight up chills...👀

Decadent Desires Ch 21
Emily Prentiss x reader Warnings; language, minor alcohol, minor anxiety/worry but it's all fluff otherwise. 3k. Wow. We're finally here. It lowkey feels super surreal. The passage of time is wild and I don't remember when I started writing this fic, though I know I had a lot of it written before I started posting so that likely makes it seem longer. When it all comes down to it, this is one of my favourite fics that I've written. I'm proud of it. I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who's been reading it, reblogging and commenting, you are all wonderful and amazing. Stay tuned for plenty more one shots and lots of fun with our favourite characters in the future! Don't wanna miss a fic? Sign up for taglist here! Liked the story? Send me a ko-fi!
Now that you’ve finished the fic please feel free to head into my inbox & leave a legit honest review!! It helps me know what y’all like, what you didn’t like & how to improve future writing both here & elsewhere! 😘🩷
To say that Emily’s mind was not focused over the next twenty four hours would have been an understatement. She knew that dinner was occupying her thoughts, trying to think of the best way to get her words out without fumbling all over them or saying the wrong thing. She almost considered practicing by writing them down, having a speech ready to go if she forgot what she was supposed to be saying. She started to wonder if that alone was enough, if words would be strong enough to win you over or if she needed to stop for flowers, dessert or even something fancier on the way over to your place.
She thought she was doing a decent job of keeping it under wraps while at work until Tara asked what break in the case her and DiNozzo had discovered. When Emily’s brow furrowed the other woman pointed out Tony had been in her office for nearly an hour, the two of them involved in a deep conversation and she could only assume they’d discovered something. Emily’s cheeks burned as she bluffed the best reasoning she could think of before excusing herself back to her office. While the case had been the original reason Tony popped into her office, she’d roped him in to staying, saying he was the king of all movies and tropes, wondering if maybe now was the time for some grand gesture.
He'd shot that idea down, which is why she was pulling up to your place empty handed except for a bottle of wine. The biggest grand gesture she was planning was to greet you with a kiss neither of you would be able to forget. Her heart thudded against her rib cage as she waited for the elevator, letting out a breath in an attempt to relax herself the best she could, a kiss was a kiss, the worst thing that could happen was that you wouldn’t read into it the way she did.
You swung the door open, a soft smile on your cheeks as you stepped back to let her into your apartment. Her hand quickly found your waist but any and all plans she had immediately fell out the window at the hesitancy and anxiety wafting off you and vibrating through the air. She could tell your shoulders were tensed, and you didn’t melt into her embrace the way you normally did, so she settled for a kiss on the cheek as per your usual greeting, following you into the kitchen as she passed off the bottle of wine.
“I’ve got a white open if you want to start with that?” You offered, tucking the bottle she’d brought into the fridge and she nodded.
“Yeah, that’s perfect.” She smiled softly at you, watching you pull down a glass to fill for her, adding in a couple of ice cubes just as she liked it.
“How’s the case?” You asked, picking up your own wine as you leant against the island across from her, “Tony mentioned it was still pretty dead ended, I was kinda surprised you had time to make it tonight.”
“It’s a case.” She shrugged, “there’s only so much we can do right now. Figured it was best to let everyone have the night off, come back clear headed tomorrow.”
As her eyes swept through the kitchen she felt her own anxiety beginning to settle into her bones, her heart still strumming faster than usual in her chest. You had made the plan to stay in for dinner, so she wasn’t confused over your very casual attire of pyjama shorts and a cardigan, but aside from the wine bottle, there was no sign of intending to host tonight.
“Bummer.” You let out a sigh as you took a sip of wine, catching the way Emily nearly jumped at the sound of your voice, her jaw tightening and you were quick to finish you sentence, “about the case! Not that you had time to come over. That’s good, I’m glad. I just uh..” you let out an awkward laugh she wasn’t used to hearing, “didn’t want to make it sound like I was happy there was some psycho killer still out there.”
It was Emily’s turn to chuckle, taking another large sip of her drink, “no, I get it, it’s a tricky line to walk…”
Her accidentally chosen words hung heavily in the air, weighing down on both of you as you let out a quiet hum, staring over her shoulder, your wine glass in front of your face. You could feel your heart hammering in your chest so heavily you were almost certain Emily could hear it or at least could see the way the pulse point in your neck was jumping. It was part of the reason you’d pulled away so quickly at the front door, you didn’t want her to be able to feel it, or your clammy hands, she didn’t need to know you were nervous.
“Hey…” you were almost certain your voice cracked, “I uh, wanted to talk to you about something.”
Her face shot up, trying to control the expression written across it when she finally caught your eye, “oh, yeah. Me too, but you first.”
You downed the rest of your wine, your glass likely hitting the island with a little too much velocity as the words tumbled out of your mouth before you could take a second thought. “I think we should end the arrangement.”
Emily felt her heart drop into her stomach, the butterflies that were once there crushed into a churning of bile as she swallowed. This certainly wasn’t what she had expected, she thought she’d read the situation right, followed Tony’s advice that was supposed to lead her in the right direction. Then she felt incredibly stupid, she read body language and people for a living when she’d known them for all of two seconds. Yet she’d spent incredibly intimate and personal hours with you and still didn’t manage to get the right vibe.
“Oh…I, okay.” She placed the half full glass of wine, her eyes not totally focused on anything before she scooped up her bag, “I’ll uh… get out of your hair then.”
You’d caught the way her face fell ever so briefly before she managed to mask it, your heart squeezing in your chest as you darted around the island, managing to catch her wrist in your hand.
“No! Emily, please, no.” You tugged her back to you and when she finally did focus on you there was an evident shimmer of tears threatening to spill into her eyes, “I’m sorry. That’s not what I meant.” You let out a shaky laugh, tripping over your words you were speaking so quickly, “well, I guess it is what I meant, but not how I meant it.”
“You… want to rewrite the contract?” She asked hesitantly and you felt the heat creeping up your cheeks.
“More like I was thinking about ripping up the contract…”
There was a moment of relief washing through Emily that you could feel sparking through your body as she let out a breath. Her gaze was still pouring into you and the entire room suddenly felt too hot, causing you to shove up the sleeves of your cardigan, making sure they were settled above your elbows before undoing a couple of buttons to give you a little cool room to breathe. Emily’s eyes darted over your body as her mind continued to race.
“Listen, I.. god…” you shook your head with a laugh. Despite reciting what you wanted to say for hours, you were still totally flustered when it came to saying it to her face. It didn’t help that you suddenly noticed the way her eyes were flitting between your arms and your thighs. “What?”
She looked up, a curious expression on her face, “no blood drawn?”
“Huh?” Your brow furrowed, head titling in the adorable way Emily loved when you were utterly confused. When she was done shooting you heart eyes she suddenly realized her mistake, her tongue swiping out the corner of her mouth as she began to stutter over her words.
“Uh, just… last time you went out of town you had blood drawn.” She shrugged, “I guess I thought it was some kind of travel, germaphobe, don’t want to pick up a flu or something…” She trailed off, kicking herself for letting it slip out in the first place. Her eyes darted down to your thighs again before flicking up to your collarbone, tracing the line up your neck.
Your face relaxed, lips curving up into a small smile when you caught on to what she was doing, and what she really meant. “No…” You shook your head softly, reaching out to squeeze at her hand, “no blood drawn.”
You felt your chest swell, and Emily wanted nothing more than to kiss you to high heaven in that moment, never wanting to drop your hand no matter what the cost. Instead of getting her chance you spoke again, which, honestly, was probably for the best.
“God…” you laughed again, running a hand through your hair, “I really don’t know how to do this, I’ve never done it before.”
“Wait, what?” Her head tilted, “I thought you like, made a side hustle out of sugar babying.”
“No!” You laughed, “Oh my god I’ve done it once and that was like twenty years ago. We had a very specific end date written into the contract and knew nothing was ever going to come of it aside from my tuition.”
“But you’re so knowledgeable about the subject.” She pointed out, thinking back to how confidently you’d flown through the first few months of your relationship, how you always seemed to be a step or two ahead of her when it came to navigating your way through it.
“I’ve done my research?” You shrugged, “seen a lot of examples with Heather. Hell, with a good chunk of other politicians. Listen,” you squeezed at her hand again, pulling the focus back to the topic at hand, “I don’t know how to navigate it like this.” You gestured between the two of you, “I’m not good at it, I guess it’s another reason I’ve stayed so committed to the job… being committed to a person just kind of scares me. I’ve never felt safe enough to open up the way I needed to, never been relaxed around another person to just… let them into my life so comfortably. I don’t know why things happened so differently with you, so incredibly easily and I think that kinda freaks me out too, but I think that fear is more than worth it if it gives me the chance to be with you…really be with you. Because that’s all I really want.”
When she looked up from your joined hands Emily could hear her heart hammering between her ears, the butterflies from her stomach slowly creeping into her chest. You were fully opening yourself up to her, no matter how much it scared you and behind the hesitancy in your eyes she could see something else pouring out, something that she’d been seeing for weeks but was never ballsy enough to say something about.
“I’m hearing everything your saying and believe me I want to respond and I will, but can I do something first?” She asked.
“Uh… yeah, sure.” Your brow furrowed for a second, thinking that she had to take a call, that over your racing heartbeat you hadn’t been able to hear her phone vibrate.
Instead you were letting out a little squeak in surprise when Emily stepped toward you, her hands gently cupping your face as she brought her lips to yours. Your arms easily wound around her shoulders, pulling her body directly into yours so you could absolutely melt against her. You were instantly lost into the kiss, feeling like everything inside of you was exploding in the best way possible. Somehow the thundering in Emily’s chest was calming down as her lips moved against yours with ease, as if that was exactly where they were meant to be. The sweet smell of your shampoo invaded her nose, you invaded every single one of her senses and there was absolutely nothing else that she could ever possibly want.
Her tongue traced the seam of your lips and you easily parted them, wanting nothing more than to be able to fully taste her. Your had crept up the back of her neck, fingers gently toying with the roots of her hair, your thumb stroking at her skin. Her tongue explored your mouth, rolling against your own and she couldn’t help but let out a small groan into the kiss. When your fingers ever so slightly tugged on her hair she retaliated by nipping at your lower lip while her own curved up into a grin. A small laugh broke free from your mouth, neither of you pulling away as you relaxed deeper into each other, giggles and smiles prevalent through a series of smaller kisses until you couldn’t stop them.
Emily’s forehead rested against your own as she stole one more kiss, her hand cupping your chin, thumb tracing your lower lip and you couldn’t help but press a tender kiss to it.
“I know it can be scary…” she started, “it scares me too and honestly I’m not sure if I’m particularly great at it either. I’ve been trying to untangle my thoughts and emotions for weeks, maybe even longer and it’s been driving me insane. All that I really know is that I love spending time with you, I’m happier when you’re around, you make me laugh, you encourage me to be my best, I even sleep better with you next to me and I want so much more of all of that in my life. So…maybe we can figure it out together?”
“Yeah.” You nodded, a bright smile on your cheeks and a sparkle in your eye that absolutely made her weak in the knees, “I’d really like that.”
With another adorable giggle you surged closer to her, kissing her again, your hands tugging at the fabric of her shirt, pulling her impossibly close. You couldn’t get enough of each other and it made Emily laugh again between the kisses.
“Jeeze,” she shook her head, “I can’t believe DiNozzo was right.”
“DiNozzo?” You murmured; head full of butterflies as you stole another kiss. Though once his name was on your lips you were crashed back down to earth and you leant your torso away from her, “were you talking to Tony about our love life?!”
“Uh, maybe?” She winced, her cheeks tinging as she laughed, “I mean, it turned out he did give some pretty good advice.”
“Oh god.” You hung your head, “I am never going to hear the end of this.”
“At least it was worth it?” She suggested and you smiled across at her, pressing your lips to hers.
“It definitely was.”
Her hand caressed your cheek again as she leant in to kiss you, unable to help herself at this point and you weren’t about to deny her. Right as your lips met you jumped at the sound of the doorbell.
“You expecting someone?” She asked, her arm almost tightening around your waist as you laughed, swatting at her arm.
“It’s dinner.” You grabbed your wallet from the island, “did you really think I was going to cook after such a long day?”
Emily shook her head at the look in your eyes as you disappeared around the corner. Choosing to take the time you were dealing with the driver to collect your wine glasses from the island, refilling both before selecting cutlery and setting things up on the coffee table.
“Hope you’re okay with Indian,” you started, setting the bag down on the table as you tucked a leg under yourself on the couch, “I had a craving.”
“Cuisine doesn’t matter as long as I’m sharing it with you.” She replied and you felt your heart thud in your chest, your body melting at the look in her eyes as she gazed over at you.
“You fucking sap.” You teased, choosing to distract her from the misting of happy tears in your eyes by jumping into her lap, your lips meeting hers for another kiss.
Emily’s hands ghosted up your sides as yours settled on her face, thumbs stroking at her cheeks while your tongue explored her mouth. You let out a happy sigh into the kiss that she eagerly swallowed down, her entire being relaxing at the way you were melting into the embrace.
“What?” She asked softly, a smile on her face as she nudged your nose with hers.
“Nothing.” You shook your head, unable to control your own bright smile.
“Oh c’mon.” She prodded at your sides, earning a squeal from you, “don’t pull that crap anymore.”
You laughed, gazing down at her as your thumbs continued to soothe across her cheeks, “I just guess I’ve spent so long avoiding it and being scared that I never realized it could be this easy to fall in love...”
“You’re in love with me?” If it had been even a day earlier the question would have been filled with worry, but right now Emily asked it with a tease in her voice, because she already knew the answer. You didn’t need to say it, she could feel it, the warmth flowing through the room, wrapping itself around the two of you as you perched in her lap. She wasn’t scared to hear anything you had to say and she knew she felt the same way.
“Yeah…yeah I am.”
“Good.” Her hand gently wrapped around the back of your neck, pulling you to her for another kiss, this one deeper and a little longer than the last. One that you could feel her emotion in, joy dancing deep through your veins as your heart began to strum in time with hers, “because I’ve been in love with you for weeks. I never thought we could end up like this when we started… but here we are.”
“Mmm.” You left a kiss on the tip of her nose, “and I wouldn’t have it any either way.”

tuesday again 11/5/2024
i am going to do my absolute fucking best to stay off the internet today. also the next time i write one of these i will be goddamn thirty. yeesh.
listening
it took three hours to make a normally brisk 50-minute trip back from the airport on sunday bc there were simply so many accidents. my phone wasn't charging, i was kind of locked into the one way i actually knew how to get home, it was pouring, and the only radio station that was reliably coming through was the local dad rock station.
youtube
i don't think i've ever actually heard this song all the way through before! i have of course heard the chorus in eight billion advertisements and trailers etc, but i tuned in right at the lyrics
I was a willow last night in my dream I bent down over a clear running stream Sang you the song that I heard up above And you kept me alive with your sweet flowing love
big ren faire lady of shallott vibes.

reading
witch hat atelier, the first twelve volumes that are out in english anyway. let's yoink the setup from the fan wiki.
Coco, a girl living in a small village, had been dreaming of becoming a magician since little. But people who don't know how to use magic since birth are unable to become magicians, or witness the moment magic occurs. But one day, Coco accidentally saw Qifrey, a magician that was visiting the village casting a spell. Ecstatic to finally know how magic works, she tries it immediately and transforms her mother into a stone statue. With the help of Qifrey and his disciples, Coco will embark in a magical journey to save her mother.
this gets a lot of ghibli comparisons, and i get it-- there's a lot of concern about healing scars from a near-cataclysmic magical war, lots of contraptions, bucolic countryside, loving shots of food, etc. i think there is a focus on academia and cohort-building, and how networking is a profession all to itself, that we do not generally see in ghibli films. i think the comp pull should go beyond the aesthetics, as well, but ghibli is still a good comp-- the world of witch hat atelier is dangerous and can hurt or kill you, but it treats the reader's heart with the same care a ghibli movie will. things may not be happily ever after or go perfectly at all times, but there are no twists for the sake of twists, and it doesn't sneer or make fun of you for caring about a character. there are no whedonesque "well THAT happened!" moments. these characters are going to learn and grow and you will learn and grow along with them goddamnit. it is queer but incidentally queer. the folx side of the fags-folx spectrum will feel very welcome here but this is not a tenderqueer kind of gay book. characters are incidentally gay because of course they are, that's just how the world works, look at all the fullness of human expression you can encounter in your one short life, why NOT be gay
i did not expect this series to kickstart a fresh wave of grief for my own academic experience. coco leans on her cohort so much and they truly do work together to solve problems and come up with good solutions and i wish i had had that kind of astronomy experience. it's kind of cold comfort that i don't know and have never heard of a woman having a good astronomy experience.
witch hat atelier: very fun to sink into the details on a page (Kamome Shirahama knows how functional but pretty clothes work), endlessly charming veneer on a very taut game of political ethics happening in the grownups' background

watching
happy noirvember!!!
youtube
Another Man's Poison (1952, dir. Rapper) courtesy of Kanopy's little revolving carousel of new noir films.
An English mystery writer (Bette Davis) kills her husband, then tries to kill a man (Gary Merrill) posing as her husband.
In his review in New Statesman and Nation, Frank Hauser wrote "No one has ever accused Bette Davis of failing to rise to a good script; what this film shows is how far she can go to meet a bad one."
a plot that could only happen in a country where appearances are everything. i must agree with mr hauser and most of the critics of the time who said Huh???? to the script and basic premise. AND the ending is a little too pat. a breakneck ninety minutes filmed in three months where its stage play bones show. however i really like Bette Davis and it's so much fun to watch Bette Davis pace around an English manor house like a caged tiger.

playing
fallow week, i am having a consistent problem with the now five year old gaming rig overheating and once i solve that issue i am very excited to play Red Dead Redemption the original (thank you again @pasta-pardner !)

making
deep cleaned my entire house. drove three hundred miles this weekend to pick up my sister and her friend from the airport, go to the ren faire, come back from the ren faire, and take them back to the airport. houston delivered to me some of the worst fucking driving experiences i have ever had here. really upsetting torrential downpour for nearly an hour on a road with no shoulder to speak of.
the actual ren faire was fun! i did not realize how vital a chair or bench with a fucking back was to my rest and recovery. it was nice to go with fellow adults and not help wrangle several small children, as fun as a kid-friendly experience can be. got my overpriced gyro for the year. got my bootleg anime merch for the year. wish it hadn't rained but i feel very smug for packing enough umbrellas and ponchos.

the end of an era
I wanted to thank you all, not only for all the notes of gratitude, encouragement, etc., in my inbox, but for being my faithful readers over the last ten years as I blundered around, answering asks, figuring things out on the fly, mistyping myself half a dozen times, and learning by “answering.” It’s been an incredible blessing for me to be part of your lives, and now, I hope, I have left behind enough of a resource, through my thousands of answered questions, my MBTI book, and my ongoing FunkyMBTI Blog, that you can be guided to your type and start the journey of self-development.
I want to say a few more things, but first, I’ll answer the burning questions that I know are going through your mind directly.
Does this mean no more character typings? No, it does not. I will continue updating FunkyMbti.com for the indefinite future, and those posts will automatically be ported over to this tumblr page, along with posts from Sixy Pixie (which I may expand to include general Enneagram posts/information/insights).
All it means is I am retiring from answering typing questions. I will still be active in various online communities, doing research, gathering information, and sharing it on my blogs. My interest in MBTI has waned since writing my book (which I consider the “achievement” of over a decade of work/research/learning), so the best way I know of is to move forward.
Does this mean I can’t request characters anymore? No, it does not. You can always contact me through FunkyMBTI.com’s contact page to make character requests. I have an ongoing list of characters people would like to see, and I hope to get around to most of them. (Such as, people want to see The OC, The Scream movies, and more Hollywood icons, such as Natalie Wood). I also have Sanditon, more Shadow and Bone typings, etc., coming.
How can I know about your Enneagram book and/or other books? Thank you for asking! You can either stay tuned here, since any announcement posts on my blog will update here, or you can join my mailing list to receive all my updates (of reviews, upcoming books, free book giveaways, and more).
Are you going to delete Funky on tumblr? No, it will stay up as long as tumblr survives, not only as a monument to my zillion hours of work, but to the thousands of people who braved the internet to ask me questions and allowed me to showcase my “Big Sister Energy.” Ha, ha. Seriously, though, I appreciate all the questions, comments, compliments, and submissions over the years, including the gigantic assortment of characters from shows/movies I may never watch.
What now? I will stock the queue for a few months and take time off, and then hopefully dig more into the Enneagram, since I think that has real potential to change people’s lives for the better.
Final Thoughts:
It seems fitting that I close “the end of an era” (as my ENFJ friend put it, when she heard about this) as I approach the end of a “decade” in my life, and a big “0” birthday. I can’t exactly recall how my journey started. I think I took one of those MBTI quizzes, shared by a friend on some social media website, got mistyped as an INTJ, and fell down a rabbit hole that took over my life for over a decade. I went through every possible type known to man (other than SP), and can now finally claim with authority to be an ENFP.
I made all the mistakes you are going to make, if you are just starting out on this journey of self-awareness – I listened to the wrong people, I took in the wrong information, I mistyped myself and others, I had to unlearn everything that made no sense, but along the way, I learned how to introspect and be present with myself. To pay attention to what I am doing, and why I am doing it, and that is the most valuable take-away from this experience. You can either go through life oblivious to your true self, or you can go through life friends with yourself, and aware of both your strengths and your weaknesses. I recommend the latter. It's hard but worth it.
Doing that for so long, getting used to being “wrong,” prepared me to read my first book on the Enneagram. And it changed my life. I knew I was a 6, that there was nothing “wrong” with me, that other people struggled with the same things I did. And my introspection started growing deeper. There were many ego battles along the way, denial of the aspects of 6 profiles that I didn’t want to admit to, followed by resignation and self-awareness (that I do that too, and it’s revolting!). But it’s a journey that I intend to walk on, for the rest of my life, and I’m glad to know these things. I wish I had known them sooner. I would have been a much better friend.
All of my current friends came to me through Funky. My friends in Sweden and Tennessee and Idaho and India and Philadelphia and Florida and Spain and Greece. I would not know them, had they not reached out to me, asked me a question, asked if we could e-mail, or helped me figure something out. Funky has been my “social” life for a decade. Some of them are still with me, even though one of them is not – Maddie, my beloved ENTP co mod, my zany, nutty, wild-hearted 793 “DJ” who could simultaneously make me laugh until I cried and drive me insane with frustration, passed away of a heart attack during the pandemic in 2021. One minute she was in my life, and the next she was gone forever. I never told you at the time, but it seems a fitting end to my time here, to pay homage to a friend I hope to meet one day “in person” in whatever comes after this. So Maddie, thank you for everything you put into this blog with me, thank you for the hours of fun and laughter, for the many hundreds of posts that will stand as a testament to your memory. I miss you. And I hope wherever you are, you are doing something crazy.
Thank you, dear reader, for coming with me on this journey. I know we shall meet again.
XOXO, Charity / ENFP Mod / Big Sister Energy

The wild robot review!
Spoilers ahead! ⚠️
I’m in the car now. Anyways time for The wild robot review.
Story: 10/10.
Gosh loved it. It was so cute and a good storyline that I enjoy (I love found family) so it was a good palate cleanser.
Soundtrack: 8/10.
Very good and catchy. Got scenes and characters very well, can be a little forgettable though. But other than that, very upbeat and energetic. Good for a playlist where you are drawing or writing open world scenes and want something to fit the tune of the world.
Characters: 9/10.
I would die for Fink. Literally was my favorite. Roz is sweet and so was bright bill. I thought the animals coming together and just staying that way was odd, mostly because I’m like “what they gonna eat?” But that’s just me and I’m too logical for my own good. Pink tail was a mood and I love her to death.
World setting: 10/10.
I’m not an artist like C but even I can appreciate beautiful art work. The people who worked on it are incredibly talented and I would 100% attend a meeting showing how they did it and how everything was designed.
Company: 10/10.
We always see movies with the friends we are with so that just stays the same anyways lol.
Overall: 9/10.
Had to pee so I missed like 2 minutes so I just came back to a robot getting yeeted. But I loved it either way. Very humorous and would 100% recommend to go see it.
It clean, family friendly with funny and in taste humor. Good for kids because it’s light hearted with fast paced movement, bright colors and fun characters. But also a good watch for parents as it goes over the struggles and also is very good as a comfort movie.

It is currently 3:54 in the morning where I'm at and I haven't slept one bit.
I have literally been sitting in my bed for over 5 hours reading a bunch of fanfic, listening to music, and watching maybe to much youtube. I need to set up a medical appointment soon, suspecting I have a hormonal issue that is making my 'times of the week' a lot more difficult to bear. By that, I mean by I don't get them for almost 1/2 of a year, and when they return they are a son of a fucking bitch to handle. Basically, cramps have kept me up and I just wanted something to do out of sheer boredom.
Anyways, I have a surprise coming out here soon. It's about requests and my fandoms. So, stay tuned. Y'know what screw it I'll just announce it now.
(I'm literally pouring what I'm thinking onto my keyboard and on this post so bear with the confusion and small rant plz)
Now to the surprise. I am possible
Hint the word
POSSIBLY
adding two previous fandoms back onto this list. While the names are not going to be revealed yet, I will make the post tags lists and the characters as well and have the announcement with their names come out right before posting them.
Also, I am posting a couple things from my Upcoming Pieces List because I have been needing to get that thing trimmed down for a while but have been busy with having requests come through first.
Okay I'm gonna make this quicker because my pelvic area feels like it wants me to suffer the physical amount of pain that I felt after watching Optimus die in the og series' movie.
These parts'll come out here soon and I will end up releasing a monthly schedule that shows days I plan on having requests open and I'll probably have vacation days on there as well. P.S: be aware that I may be posting random shit about 'The Dark Crystal'
Idk why but I watched a video made by TheOdd1sOut and have practically fallen head-over-heals for the movie. I literally saw the puppets and went 'childhood nostalgia: unlocked'. You guys should also go check out TheOdd1sOut, the guy is a boss when it comes to making entertaining content for somebody like me to watch. I watched like 3 minutes of his review of 'The Dark Crystal' movie from 1982 and went;
Just a heads up! Now, enjoy the rest of your morning/nights. Idk where y'all live so pick one ig... I need some goddamn sleep... if anyone has a solution to a comfortable sleeping position when on your period please leave a comment for me to see because I NEED THE REST. MY SLEEP SCHEDULE IS SHITTING BUT THIS IS WORSE THAN NORMAL.
Or if you have another over the counter medication name that helps with periods (other than Midol, I need to get more soon)
Thanks y'all for listening to me half-awake and painfully-not-thought-through announcement!! Love you guys to bits!!!
Btw here's a link to TheOdd1sOut in case you do wanna check his videos out;

Could you maybe write the 141 and Konig where the reader gets absent seizures? Like they're just doing normal things with them like grocery shopping or making tea. If not that's okay! ❤❤❤
ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪsᴛᴇɴɪɴɢ﹖
Task Force 141 (+König) + gn!Reader
Hope you love this one❣️❣️ Sorry for the late response :((
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
König
König had always been there for you, and you couldn't have asked for a better partner. He was kind, understanding, and had an unwavering support for you, even when dealing with your condition, absence seizures. It was a part of your life, something you had come to accept.
You and König were at the grocery store, just like any other couple around this town. You pushed the shopping cart through the aisles, focusing on the list in your hand. "We need some fresh vegetables, right?" you asked, glancing at König.
He smiled and nodded. "Yes, we do. Let's grab some broccoli and carrots."
As you reached for the broccoli, a familiar feeling washed over you. Your vision blurred, and you momentarily lost track of where you were and what you were doing. König noticed your absence, and his voice broke through the fog in your mind. "Liebling? Are you okay?"
You blinked and shook your head, coming back to reality. "Sorry, I...uh- I zoned out for a moment. Broccoli and carrots, right?"
König's concern was evident, but he was always so patient. "Yes and don't worry about it. Let's finish our shopping."
You continued down the aisles, trying to stay focused. The familiar feeling of disconnection returned at times, but you got through it, not wanting to inconvenience König further.
As you approached the checkout counter, you felt another seizure coming on. You struggled to remember what you were supposed to do next. "König, what was on the list again?"
He gently reminded you, "We need milk and eggs, liebling."
You nodded, grateful for his support, and went to fetch the items. At the checkout, you had another brief absence, but König paid for the groceries and guided you out of the store.
Once you were in the car, he said, "You know it's okay, right? You don't have to push yourself so hard."
You sighed, feeling a bit defeated. "I just don't want to be a burden, König."
He reached over to take your hand, his grip reassuring. "You're not a burden. You're my beautiful and lovely fiancé and I'll always be here for you, seizures and all."
In the evening, you were sitting together on the couch, watching a movie. You'd had a seizure earlier in the day, in the grocery store and you felt a bit down about it. König sensed your mood and put his arm around your shoulder. "Schatz, don't let it get you down. We'll take things one step at a time."
You leaned into his comforting embrace and smiled. "I'm lucky to have you, König. You make everything better."
He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. "And I'm lucky to have you, seizures and all. We'll always face this together, Schatz."
With König by your side, you knew that your life could be as normal and fulfilling as anyone else's, and your absence seizures would never define who you were. You had love and support and that was all that truly mattered.
Simon Riley
Simon and you had built a strong Relationship over time. The two of you had faced countless missions together and while you were both tough as nails on the field, there were softer moments behind the scenes that had strengthened your connection.
One quiet evening at your safe house, you were in the kitchen, preparing a pot of tea. Simon sat at the table, engrossed in reviewing some mission reports. The aroma of the brewing tea filled the room, and you hummed a soft tune as you went about your task.
You were pouring hot water into the teapot when you suddenly felt an odd sensation wash over you. It was as if the world around you had momentarily slipped away, and your focus blurred. Simon noticed the change in your expression and looked up from his work.
"Love?" he asked, concern in his eyes. "Are you okay?"
You blinked and tried to regain your composure. "Yeah, Si, I'm fine. I just... I spaced out for a second, I think."
Simon leaned forward, his voice gentle. "You've been having these moments quite frequently lately. Have you seen a doctor about it?"
You sighed, setting the teapot down. "I've been meaning to, but you know how it is. We're always on the move, always in the middle of something. I haven't had the time."
Simon nodded, his worry evident. "Well, your health comes first. We can find a way to make it work. Let's get you checked out when we have a chance."
As you both sipped your tea, you found yourself grateful for Simon’s concern and understanding. The episodes of absent seizures had been disconcerting, and you knew you needed to address the issue.
A few days later, you finally managed to see a doctor during a brief respite between missions. They conducted a series of tests and confirmed that you were indeed experiencing absent seizures. The diagnosis left you with mixed feelings, but you knew that you needed to prioritize your health.
Upon returning to the safe house, you informed Simon of the doctor's findings. He listened attentively and then spoke with a determined look on his face. "We'll adapt our approach. If you need to take a step back from some missions to focus on your health, we'll make it work. Your safety is important, and we'll find a way to support you."
You appreciated Simon’s unwavering support. It was moments like these that made you feel fortunate to have someone who cared about you deeply. "Thank you, Si. I know it won't be easy, but with you by my side, I'm confident we'll find a way."
As you navigated the challenges of your condition, Simon was there every step of the way. He offered you a steadying hand when you had a seizure, and he encouraged you to prioritize self-care and rest. The bond between you two grew even stronger as you faced this new chapter together.
While you were sitting together at the safe house, Simon looked at you with a warm smile. "You've shown incredible strength, you. Facing this head-on and continuing to fight alongside us."
You returned his smile. "I couldn't do it without you, Simon."
He reached out and took your hand in his. "We look out for each other. No matter what challenges come our way, we'll always have each other's backs."
John MacTavish
As you and Johnny both returned from a mission and made your way to your shared apartment, you decided to prepare a cup of tea. John had his eyes on you, watching as you boiled the water and selected a tea bag.
As you filled the teapot with hot water, you suddenly stopped, your eyes losing focus. He noticed the change in your demeanor and quickly approached, concern etched on his face. "Lovie, are you okay?"
You blinked, seemingly unaware of the interruption. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a little distracted."
John's brows furrowed with worry. "That didn't look like a usual distraction. You were staring blankly for a moment."
You sighed, setting the tea bag down. "I get these all the time johnny. It's like my brain takes a break for a second, and I can't control it."
John gently placed a hand on your shoulder. "We need to get you checked out, make sure it's nothing serious."
You shook your head, attempting to regain your composure. "I've been to doctors. They say it's not harmful, just a part of my life."
The worry in He’s eyes was undeniable. "I just don't want anything to happen to you out there, you."
You managed a small smile. "I appreciate your concern, but I've learned to live with it. It's a part of who I am."John, who had been providing cover, immediately noticed and called out, "Y/N, stay focused!"
You snapped back into the moment, refocusing on the mission in front of you. "Sorry, johnny, they just hit me at the worst times."
But John was unfazed. "We'll get through this together, y/n."
As time passed, you both learned to adapt to your condition. John was always there to bring you back when you drifted, and you felt safer knowing he had your back.
One night, as you both took a rare moment of respite in the safehouse, you sat across from Soap, sipping your tea. He looked at you, a soft smile on his face. "You know, even with those absent seizures, you're one of the toughest people I know."
You met his gaze, touched by his words. "And you're one of the most caring people I know."
John Price
One evening, you and Price were enjoying a quiet dinner at a dimly lit restaurant. The candlelight created a soft, romantic ambiance, and you were savoring the delicious meal.
But then it happened.
Mid-conversation, you suddenly went quiet, your gaze unfocused as your hand holding the fork hesitated above your plate. Price, ever vigilant, noticed the change immediately. He reached out, gently touching your hand. "You, are you with me?"
You blinked, your focus returning, and you smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, Price. Just had a little... moment there."
Price offered a reassuring smile. "It's alright. We all have our quirks."
As the evening continued, the two of you talked about everything from missions to your future together. Price admired your resilience and courage, despite the occasional absent seizures.
A few days later, you and Price were at the safehouse, going over mission details. He had laid out the blueprints and surveillance footage on the table, and you were deep in conversation when it happened again.
Your voice trailed off, and you stared at the images before you without really seeing them. Price observed your expression, his concern growing. "You, what's going on?"
You shook your head, trying to clear your thoughts. "Sorry, Price, I just... lost track for a moment. It happens sometimes."
Price leaned in closer, his eyes filled with worry. "We need to take care of this, you. It's not safe during missions."
You sighed, knowing he was right. "I'll see a doctor when we get back. I promise."
Price reached across the table, taking your hand and squeezing it gently. "I just want you to be safe, you. I can't bear the thought of something happening to you."
Your heart swelled with love for this man who cared so deeply for you. "I'll do whatever it takes to stay safe, Price."
As the mission approached, you did indeed see a doctor, who recommended some treatment options to manage your absent seizures. Price stood by your side throughout the process, offering support and encouragement.
When the day of the mission arrived, you and Price were ready. You had received treatment and learned to cope with your condition. Price watched you closely, his protective instincts still intact. As the mission unfolded, you stayed focused and alert, your training and determination shining through.
After the successful mission, you and Price sat down to unwind. The two of you shared a quiet moment, and you looked into his eyes with gratitude. "Thank you, Price. You've been my rock through all of this."
He smiled and reached for your hand. "I'll always be here for you, you. No matter what."
Kyle Garrick
One afternoon, you and Kyle decided to go for a walk in a nearby park, where he asked you if he could be your boyfriend. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the sun warmed your skin. It was the perfect setting for quality time together.
As you strolled hand in hand, you suddenly stopped in your tracks, your gaze vacant. Kyle noticed and asked, "You okay, love?"
You blinked, your mind slowly returning to the present. "Yeah, sorry, just a little... lost there for a moment."
Kyle squeezed your hand reassuringly. "It's alright, baby. I'm here with you."
You smiled, grateful for his understanding. "I know, and that's what makes it better."
As you continued your walk, you explained how these absence seizures sometimes occurred without warning. "It's like my brain hits pause for a few seconds, and I'm not fully here. But having you with me always brings me back."
Kyle nodded, his love for you evident in his eyes. "I'll always be here to bring you back, no matter what."
A little later, you decided to stop at a cafe for a coffee. You were in the middle of a conversation when it happened again. Your words trailed off, and your eyes glazed over as you drifted into one of your seizures.
Kyle noticed immediately and gently placed a hand on your arm. "Y/n, are you okay?"
Your absence seizures had become a routine occurrence for him to navigate. You slowly returned to reality, a faint smile on your lips. "Yeah, just spaced out for a sec."
Kyle chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "You really do have an out-of-this-world imagination, love."
You laughed along, grateful for his unwavering support. "I swear, I'll bring souvenirs from those trips."
As you sipped your coffee, Kyle took a moment to express his feelings. "You know, you being you, with all your quirks and seizures, is what I love about you the most. It's what makes you… you."
He looked you in your eyes as you looked at him. "And you being here with me, loving me just as I am, is what I cherish the most."

My friend just moved to a her grandmas old place and she doesn't have internet, so instead we dug out Grandma's trusty VHS collection and watched a bunch of movies from the cusp of Y2K. We also have plans to dig out more because this is our thing now, fuck Netflix. So here's my reviews so far:
Holes. what a GREAT fucking movie. Good message that is blatantly anti-prison industrial complex and anti-capitalist. good morals, good soundtrack, great casting, the author of the text wrote the screenplay so it hits hard like the book does, the romance between Kate and Sam will be goals to me forever. "I can fix that"!?!? KILL ME JFJDJWKWKFNJRNE 11/10 good shit. youuUuUUUU got to goOooOoo dig those hooooles 🎶
Another one that's still good? POTC: curse of the black pearl. Yes it's Johnny Depp Disney Garbage Trash, but it's WRITTEN SO WELL. Whatever writers they got for that shit obviously have written many a fanfic (positive! praise!!) bc the dynamics and dialogue btwn characters flow so smoothly. It's absolutely and utterly unlike real life, it's just the pirate story we all always wished we could be in, and it's still an absolute blast. for that I award it 9/10. This one was funny bc it came out on VHS in time for the commercials to be advertising DVDs.
Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius? This one's hard, cus this was one of my FAVORITE movies growing up. I noticed going in, however, that I remembered far less about what happens to Jimmy and his friends then I did about Caveman. Basically all I remembered was Jimmy's dad is stupid, and "when I sneeze it looks like a advanced species too." and that's bc Jimmy Neutron is a completely vapid and inane tale with absolutely no message, that unfortunately did not stand the test of time to me personally. It's pretty much unremarkable. they try to mix the "he's a genius baby" humor with 5th grader booger jokes and it just doesn't work, the booger humor doesn't land for adults and the genius humor isn't quite smart enough to be actually funny most of the time. Tbqh I think watching this as an adult gives me more ideas for horror movies than anything else. They go into space ON ROLLER COASTERS, WITHOUT HELMETS!!! They're fighting an entire civilization of space traveling ritual sacrificing EGGS and they have A SINGULAR! ONE! CHILD! ARMY! TO FIGHT THEM!!!! THEY CANT BREATHE OUT THERE! that's too scary I can't take it seriously lmao. 4/10 with all positive points going to Jimmy's hot mom and himbo dad (ideal romance tbh and where 90% of the humor comes from), Carl, Sheen, and Cindy, for screaming "THOSE FINDINGS WERE INCONCLUSIVE AND YOU KNOW IT" during their first on screen fight, that joke did actually land so they can have a cookie for it. And the teacher who gets turned small and gets left that way forever. What the fuck lmao
We also watched Pocahontas and I mean. Even as a kid watching that one was more of a lesson in "here's how NOT to talk about history," and as an adult, her "romance" with John Smith is more weak and pathetic than anything I've ever seen before or since! We got to "Savages" and all I could think was "Disneys orchestra really put their whole pussy into this one, huh?!?" I wish I could say the rest of the movie/soundtrack made it worthwhile but I'm gonna go with a solid 2/10 here. we still had a fun time tearing into their choices, and the aesthetic of an old Disney movie watched on VHS like nature intended is a form of ASMR. I didn't realize how much I missed the clackety clack of the plastic cases or the smell of a warm, freshly rewound tape. <3 good shit.
Stay tuned for more of my 20 Years Later: VHS Reviews No One Fucking Asked For! we're holding out hope that her parents still have my friends own VHS collection bc her and her sister used to have a banging VHS collection and I NEED to see Quest for Camelot.
#me#film#listening to music from the same era lately too#i just put Simple Plans debut album back in my rotation bc its soooooo funnnyyyyy oh my god#the christmas list song 😭😭#i want a girl in my bed who knows what to do! A PLAYSTATION 2! i want a (1) dvd! a big screen tv!! 😭#IM JUST A KID AND LIFE IS A NIGHTMARE! IM JUST A KIIIIID I KNOW THAT IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! NOBODY CARES CUS IM ALONE AND THE WORLD IS#HAVING MORE FUN THAN MEEEEEEEEEEEE... to night 😔#the song where he straight up fucks an alien#iconic shit

So, it’s not Frev or Napoleonic, but I recently found out that a pipeline of Literature ->adaptions of “Dracula” -> historical Vlad Draculea exists 🤣
For context, I have a class twice a week and we spent October analyzing “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” (far from a good movie btw and not a faithful adaptation so don’t be fooled) as an example of adaptation vs. original piece.
I’m not going to spoil anything for the movie but basically it meshes Dracula the vampire with Vlad III Basarab, Aka Draculea, Aka Vlad the Impaler if that makes it easier to get who I’m talking about.
I knew about this particular Wallachian Voivoda (royal title in the past) before but was never all that interested until I saw that particular movie. Perhaps the habit of making the real Draculea a vampire came from the fact that this is the name of the fictional count, even though Bram Stoker doesn’t originally mesh the real man with the fictional count aside from just picking the name.
I don’t know why watching a boring adaptation got me interested in a controversial historical figure (bloodthirsty monster in pop culture but a national hero in Romania) whose reputation is sullied by myths almost as much as the reputation of the Jacobins and Napoleon, but it’s clearly becoming a pattern 😂
Guess I just enjoy learning about controversial people and looking beyond the stories! (Special thanks to @maggiec70 for teaching me to ask “cui bono?” whenever I encounter sources and/or legends)
Anyway, yep, I found yet another historical figure to be interested in. I’m still into Frev and Napoleonic stuff too obviously, but I’m going down the Vlad Draculea rabbit hole too… so yeah.
Thanks for coming to my rambling post about the recent events in my life 🤣
P.S. I say Draculea because apparently that’s the correct spelling in Romanian.
P. P. S. My health is still not completely back to normal but I’m getting there so stay tuned for reviews and updates!

Trap (2024) review
M. Night Shyamalan seems like a nice dad.
Plot: In M. Night Shyamalan's latest outing, everyone in a large city is in a frenzy. Why? That's because they're up and ready to watch a concert performed by famous pop star Lady Raven. Two of her fans, a man named Cooper and his daughter Riley, attend the concert with high spirits, but things slowly begin to change their tune. Amongst the screams of adoration and sounds of applause, the concert itself has a hidden identity: a front to fish out an infamous serial killer known as The Butcher. With security cameras rigged, armies of policemen with weapons at the ready, and police vehicles surrounding the venue, will anyone survive their concert experience or is there more to The Butcher than meets the eye?
I bloody love M. Night Shyamalan! As a director that is, not as a person as I’ve never met the guy. He could be a real stuck snob for all I know. But as a creative voice in the movie industry I absolutely adore him, as this is someone who to this day has not let the Hollywood machine change or mould him and has stayed true to himself and his style of art form. Granted he does make a lot of crap, from the fascinating beach-that-turns-you-old concept stuck in a goofy and stupidly executed Old to The Happening where he somehow managed to make a tree be the ominous bad guy. And even then I cannot hate the guy as he’s evidently so batshit crazy that I have no choice but to love it. As even at his worst he still manages to come with such unique and outrageous concepts, and of course is also well known for his ridiculous third act plot twists, so even his worst film can still offer some level of entertainment. Except for After Earth. F*** that movie and also f*** Jaeden Smith ya tosser!! Mind you, I’ve never seen After Earth.
Trap is so silly. Like on every level, from each scene featuring a thousands plot-holes, characters talking like unreal people as if they are in some alien reality, random crap occurring for the sake of it…. It’s all absolutely absurd. Josh Hartnett is the glue that holds it all together, as his unhinged performance of a psychopath trying his best to act like a happy fun loving guy only to seem even more like a serial killer was truly hilarious. Also, I found myself kind of rooting for the serial killer? Like what kind of weird Dexter crap is this, Shyamalamadingdong?? I’ve been Stockholm syndromed into liking the bad guy! But anyway, Hartnett is a hoot and honestly he needs to be in more films! Saleka as the pop singer is alright. Her songs aren’t that great nor is her acting, though I do find it super endearing that Shyamalan made this entire film just to give his daughter her big ‘Eras Tour’ concert moment break and to boost her music career. What a sweet papa.
This movie very much is reliant on how willing you are to suspend your sense of disbelief, and on what level are you able to stick with Shyamalan’s shenanigans. This isn’t a particularly good movie, nor is it a bad one, but it’s extremely entertaining from beginning to end, even if the ending does get a little too off the rails. That being said one aspect that was actually phenomenal was the cinematography by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, who’s a frequent collaborator of Luca Guadagnino’s. There are so many ludicrously delicious frames here, and I admired how each conversation was shot, as tight and intimate as possible while capturing every foolish and panic-induced character response.
Also shout out to Kid Cudi who rocks up for less than 5 minutes of screen time to drop the mic, eye-fuck Josh Hartnett for no other reason other than it’s Josh Hartnett and then drop the best line of the whole damn movie - “I specifically said I wanted honeysuckle sour kombucha, bitch!!”
Overall score: 6/10

1:36:00 - exiting the helicopter lift thing, looking like an absolute disaster (validly), grimy, dirty, traumatized, worried about his sister, hugging his family, scolded, lwk crying
Review of movie:
This movie has been an absolute favorite for a longgg time. I've watched it like four times, this being the fourth time. I think there was a list for this at some point made by someone else but I couldn't find it so I figured I'd make a new one. If I manage to find it in my reblogs (why did I reblog so many posts??), I will make sure to tag and link to that post. I love the casual comedy thrown into this movie and the desperation of the characters really feels weirdly refreshing since they are trying so hard and aren't giving up at any point in the movie. I definitely recommend if you're looking for something chill that still keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. Even if you aren't looking for that, 1000000/10 I recommend. I love this movie so much, if you can't tell lol. Thanks for sticking around till the end and I hope that you enjoy the drama. Stay tuned for more whump lists!

Writers!
Do you have the urge to write, but at a block in your story? Stay Tuned for Advice at the End
(actually I just highlighted the advice in blue if you want to jump ahead you can)
Since I haven't had a lot of TSP motivation (I've gotten so far in the last few weeks I think my typical pattern of Gets A Lot Done then Takes A Break is normal), I've been working on other writing projects, ie, my media reviews and analyses.
It's personal writing, not meant for anyone outside of immediate friends to see. It's basically just me going off about X movie or show. What worked, what didn't.
It mainly exists because neurodivergent brain can't focus on anything else until my thoughts become words.
Which means I keep up my stamina as a writer. Which means I'm still in writing mode. Just not TSP mode.
The reason we watch, read, etc media is so we can learn to a degree. Listening, speaking, reading, writing--these things go hand in hand. And I find discussing and analyzing media extremely helpful when it comes to writing my own stuff.
My sister is the main help for this since they watch this stuff with me and read my analyses and reviews. Talking about story structure and elements really helps me. Writing everything down helps me work through it. And they help me with my own writing.
So yeah venting for 2k+ words about a singular episode of a Winnie the Pooh cartoon from 1988 IS helpful and productive!!!
But seriously: if you're a writer who has an Urge To Write but is at a block in your story: try media analysis. It can be anything from writing a review on IMDb to explaining why you hated a certain movie in a well-developed essay. It will not only help you keep up a writing habit, but it will help you improve your own writing without writing your story.

Hello, fellow writers and readers,
I am a writer. I like writing. But when I'm not writing, I enjoy drawing and reading. And when I read posts online, something happens; you know how you are reading posts online? Stories, works in progress, fanfiction movie reviews, thoughts of the day, what happened on the bus, one funny story, a poem someone wrote, etc etc.
And then you find beautiful lines written by people. Some are funny, some are lovely and romantic, some are even sad, some make you think a lot, some are profound, and some you don't understand, but the words sound good and fitting and perfect when you read the sentence.
One of those moments when you stumble upon a sentence or phrase that just hits you right in the feels? The ones that make you pause, smile, or maybe even ponder the mysteries of the universe? Well, that's what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to make it a series. This series is all about that. I am calling it the "Art of Sentences" - where I'll be diving into some of the coolest, quirkiest, funniest and most soul-stirring lines I've come across. It's like a treasure hunt for those hidden gems in the world of words.
Whether it's a sentence that makes me laugh, a verse that tugs at my heartstrings, or one that's just so beautifully crafted, I can't help but admire it; I'm going to explore them all.
Why? Because words are fantastic, and people who wrote them are even more awesome, and they deserve a little spotlight.
If you're a fellow word nerd, a scribbler of stories, or just someone who loves a good line, you're in the right place.
Stay tuned for the first post, where I'll kick things off by talking about a sentence that's made a permanent home in my heart. Until then, keep your eyes peeled for those memorable lines in your own reading adventures!
With lots of love,
Neelihara

Another casual Movie Review!
From meee!!! :D
Hello again, we got one of my main sources to my love for animated movies/shows today, Disney!
And we got their new movie, Wish!
First off, !!🟥SPOILERS🟥!!
I watched this at home and it released in Cinema so I can't count reviewing the animation because I only got the low quality cinema vid for now. Still tho, animations are great, so ye, I'm sure it gud UvU
But we're talking more about the story, characters, and other perks!
In my first watch, I was pretty chill, entertained, and unbothered... in most cases. Honestly, I was only feeling unbothered sometimes because of the expectations of people's critics all over Wish
In my second watch tho, I was pretty bored, yet still enjoyed it somehow, but anyway–
I give the movie ALONE a 7/10
The characters are great, the songs are gud to listen to while watching (This Wish is on loop in my head tho, that one's catchy), the comedy is gud too, story is gud too!
Yeah, guys! The movie is actually not bad!
...It's just not jaw dropping that is, y'know?
The movie is a little generic but also not??? I dunno
It kept me entertained, it's a gud movie for funzies, and it's especially not that triggering at least to me, it's just not that rewatchable y'know? Also had some trouble remembering some of the characters' names even
Anyway ye, movie, okie
Easter eggs were fun to catch
(My dad even has his own theories like Asha being the fairy godmother like from Cinderella and Magnifico being the mirror like from Snow White)
...BUT—
I WANNA TALK 'BOUT SOMETHING ELSE
Huh? What? No it's not critism, I'm already done
NO, it's my favorite part of all
IMAGINING POTENTIALS!!!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the movie had potential, I mean, it does in some cases but not generally
HOWEVER
If you consider their SCRAPPED CONCEPTS like these fav examples: Star is supposed to be a shape shifter and has a male human form (possible romance with Asha), and Magnifico and Amaya are supposed to be a villain COUPLE! LIKE BRO! This is the ONLY part I'm triggered by the movie honestly, because it's MISSED potential! This potential didn't come from the movie itself, no! It's from the dumps!
I'm honestly glad fanfics exist
Like imagine bruh, what more new set of formulas can you think of? Asha's father being Magnifico instead? Making her a PRINCESS?! WHOLE NEW TOP TIER LEVEL TO TACKLE– oh wait
SOMEONE'S ALREADY DOING THAT! YASSS
read it pls, it gud
Anyway, ye, that's honestly the only fun I have from the movie, imagining it's potential
But it's honestly a shame that the potential is missed rather than the potential is oozing... you confused? Okay, what I mean is, missed potential is like those scrapped concepts, oozing potential is like from the movie itself has potential for a few tweaks here and there and boom! Better movie! So ye, Gacha Every math for ya lol
Anyway, ye, it's a shame...
BUT DON'T LET IT STOP YA THERE!!!
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT IF YA URGED TO🔥🔥🔥
YOU, ME, ANYONE, TACKLE THE INGREDIENTS! MAKE A MEAL!! AND WE'LL FEAST!!!
Artist, writer, daydreamer, WHATEVER! I JUST w i s h ;D PEOPLE SHOW THEIR REVISIONS OF THE MOVIE! Let the creativity and fun DRIVE!!!
I SURE I AM! WOOO!!!
Movie fine: 7/10 :)
Revision rush: 9/10 B)
Wish is gud, healed my inner child which is what my constructive criticism is orbit to, so if you're into that thing, stay tuned for more! ^w^

hey there!
it's been a while. apologies for my absence, i've been doing other things and work has been kicking my ass lately. aside from that, i'm super inspired right now so i'll hopefully be writing a bunch of cool stuff tonight!
let's talk about some fun stuff that happened while i was away!
normal people things came out and my god is that song wonderful. it's my personal favorite lovejoy song and i am obsessed with it!
taylor swift released 1989 taylor's version! it's one of my favorite taylor albums and it's so nostalgic for me so i was super hyped about it and even had a listening party with my friends the night of its release! also, she just dropped new merch and HOLY SHIT IT'S SO CUTE. i need all of it. i also got to go see the eras tour movie and it was so good! i wish i had the experience of dancing and singing in the theater like a lot of people did but there was literally only one other group in the theater with us and they intimidated me and my friends so we didn't do anything 💀
the fnaf movie came out and i've heard mixed reviews on it so i'll just give my opinion and pray it's not too hot of a take: i loved it to be honest. it could be because of my love for josh hutcherson, sure, but i also thought it was a good and fun take on the game i grew up with and thought that cinematically, a five nights at freddy's movie had no right being as good as it was.
halloween was super fun! i got to try out some clown makeup that i'd been wanting to for a while and it was SO COOL. i hope you all had a fun and safe (and spooky!) halloween :)
anyway, that's all from me for now, stay tuned for some cool stuff coming your way :D
