OLD ART (at least.. 2.5 years old I think..?) that I did for a MCYT themed prompt exchange. First ep of Wild Life reminded me that I actually drew smol 3rd life Scar with Grian back then lol Old art embarrassing skahsdgjhg... there's plenty of stuff about this I think is super wonky (the face....!?) so I'm really conflicted on even posting it TT;

Nico by the son of Poseidon’s side visibly gulps, not because he’s afraid of Percy, but of how this can make a scene. “P-Percy, it’s fine really—”

“No!” Some storm clouds are threatening above them. Nico doesn’t want to know what happens to the other bodies of water around them. Percy’s rage is palpable.

“I just meant…” Will stammers but trails off when thunder booms loudly.

“You meant what, Solace?” the son of Poseidon snaps. “You actually meant to tell Nico that it was his fault he didn’t have friends?”

Nico hesitantly tugs at Percy’s arm. “Percy, please. It’s okay.”

Percy’s features softens at the contact, but immediately steels again. “No Nico. You don’t understand.” He shifts slightly and offers Nico his full attention; the head medic suddenly seems like an unwanted intruder. “It’s not your fault they pushed you away. It’s not your fault they don't get how powerful you are.” Percy’s lips slightly quiver, his eyes shining with unshed tears. “It’s not your fault they think you didn’t do enough.”

“P-Perce…”

Percy clenches his hands and almost forces himself to regard Will again. “Believe me when I tell you that it’s not a choice when people feel they don’t belong. Sometimes it’s just the truth they have to learn to live with, even if it's not their fault.”
