If I were to (hypothetically speaking) find myself locked in combat with PACK - or even just trying to get away from them - what weaknesses should I focus on? What weak points of theirs could I exploit? In other news, I don't know when this blog became Cute Pet Central but I am here for it! 💗

I’m glad I can showcase everyone’s pets. It started off as people wanting to cheer me up, and it became something even better.

As for PACK

Leena is fast and strong, but she gets easily distracted. Confusing her is your best possible chance at beating her unless you’re particularly strong and fast.

Chance is an expert trapper and meticulous, but does have extremely sensitive hearing. Loud noises and sounds will throw him off and can disable his ability to fight for a brief moment.

Randy is craft and clever, but he’s not a fighter. He’ll try to bluff his way into scaring people. Be wise to his trickery and you have a great chance.

Fallon is fast, agile, and resilient. Despite being small she can easily take people down. Her size may be a weakness, but it’s also a great strength. You have a good 50/50 chance

Director Frostbite is fast, strong, and has incredible endurance. While not the biggest fan of the water, he can swim. On land, he’s a force to be reckoned with. Most do not stand a chance. Maybe you can take advantage of his blind side, but it might not do much.

I hace a question, ¿Do you have any headcanon in your Octonauts AU related to the movie Crisis of the Tsunami?

After watching the film and reading through the translated script, I honestly haven’t figured out a way to integrate it.

It was only recently I decided WHEN Castaway Barnacles was taking place.

I had decided it’s between Season 3 and 4 of Above and Beyond, since the crew have now integrated Selva and Bud as Octo agents BUT the Reef Base has yet to be constructed

Well aside from Reggie and Bones’ basic descriptions

Reggie and Bones are very performative when working. As in sign twirling the wearing fun mascot costumes.

Their uncle Ozzy is kinda grumpy but he loves his family very much. He’s also a very gifted chef

His wife Penny is the business side of the pizzeria. She’s considered the big boss and loves her family fiercely. She’s also familiar with pastry making and desserts so she does help out in the kitchen as well.

Their friends

Daisy takes her plant care very seriously, and can spot any abnormality in a plant like it’s a sixth sense. She’s also not afraid of getting dirty or hard work, and someone suggested once that she’d have a souther accent so I might consider that.

Jake is not the brightest tool in the shed (yes that’s written wrong on purpose) but he’s super sweet and encouraging. Kinda like a Kronk

Mervin lights up anytime he’s given a chance to experiment on otherworldly things and keeps extremely detailed notes on everything.

So if yall remember my little pizza man character and his pals, I’ve been thinking about him again.

And after a conversation with my mom, finishing a character design I haven’t touched in a while, and assigning myself a task to complete by the end of the week, I’m gonna be doing a little comic series based on this. And I’ll be testing it out via YouTube, Instagram, BlueSky, TikTok, and here on Tumblr (Patrons will get it first though to browse through themselves. I’m still workshopping)

And after a little moment of not being able to explain it to my mom, I think writing down the concept might help

So I’m gonna do that, and yall can respond if you want.

So what is this?

This is a comic where we join Reggie and Bones Shootingstar, two pizza delivery guys who work for Shootstar Family Pizzeria, where your intergalactic pizza wishes come true. They work with their Uncle Ozzy and Aunt Penny to make pizzas and other treats with some of the craziest ingredients for even stranger customers.

They have some pals who they hang out with and who will help them out in some deliveries or making interstellar pizzas.

Jake Powers is their swole pal, who comes in for their Ultimate Protein Calzone post workouts. He drags his friends into group exercises and will get into wrestling matches with anyone. He roommates with Mervin and works doing heavy lifting for whoever pays him. Jake also adores healthy eating and invites his friends over for power meals he prepped himself, but when he’s not the center of attention he will be the biggest and loudest cheerleader.

Daisy Mayflower is their florist neighbor who runs a flower and produce shop right next to the pizzeria. The pizzeria buys the bulk of their produce and floral arrangements from Daisy, and she comes in for their Moon Cheese stuffed pizzas and side salads as well as providing care for the family’s intergalactic evil pineapple alien named Keith. Anytime the bros have to go searching for unique ingredients, May comes along to investigate the interesting plant species they come across and takes a few to cultivate and care for. Reggie makes extra sure she enjoys the adventures as well as hand delivering her orders to get a chance to talk to her.

Mervin Makeshift is the resident genius and inventor. He roommates with Jake and invents all sorts of gadgets and gizmos the pizza bros use to accomplish their insane deliveries. Mervin tends to recruit the brothers to test out his wacky inventions and comes in for their Shapeshifting Strombolis. He doesn’t really express a lot of emotion and likes his alone time, but puts his all into building and researching and his friends admire him for that. He’s never left out of adventures or hangouts, as much as he prefers to, but he does it for Jake.

Reggie is a goofball with a can do attitude. He loves pretty much everything on the menu, not really much the pineapple. He strives to live up to the pizzeria motto, and does everything he can to grant everyone’s pizza wishes. With the energy of a rocket and the enthusiasm that is not normal for customer service, he truly is a star.

Bones is Reggie’s older dog brother, who adores a simple pepperoni or meat lovers pizza. Where Reggie is over the top, he’s a more chill person who goes with the flow. He garters a lot of attention because he’s a dog, and his more dog traits come out during more intense moments or emotions. Bones loves good food and a long nap, but duty calls and he has to work.

Apparently Pizza Guy Shorts isn’t a very good name, so I still have to workshop a proper name

Sorry for asking, but I've always loved your series "Adelaide the Maiden of Spring," especially the interactions between your characters Addie, Nereida, Frost, and Quillon. I was wondering if you plan to show more of them in the future.

As someone autistic I would love to help portray autistic shellington, aka telling you how to make a character autistic in an unharmful way

1 stimming, this isn't all the time but not just when excited, any big emotion(anger, surprise, ect.)

2 social cues are a struggle but most don't ask all the time for context unless it's confusing

3 don't dance around the bush but don't smack it either, bring it up when necessary let it be background knowledge when it's not

4 we are normal people with just a different brain so it shouldn't ever be his whole personality

5 just treat him like any other character

6 there's this one thing: loud noises can overstimulate autistic people and it's completely true, I would keep noise cancelling headphones in my back if I could and if shellington does that it's fine because a lot of people do, not to say you have to do this because some autistic people aren't like this

7 don't play into the "all autistic people are genius tropes" please!

8 and don't play into the "all autistic people are emotionless or broken" trope

Do you headcanon any of the Octonauts on the spectrum or anything like that?

I always liked thinking Shellington was autistic lol

I was asked this before so lemme try and break down what’s going on

I 100% agree with the autism aspect of Shellington, no doubt about it

However, as someone who will eventually get him in the story, one thing I’m worried about is if I can represent that aspect without dipping into stereotypes or anything that would be offensive (not on purpose but from lack of experience)

So if anyone has tips about writing a character who is on the spectrum, please leave it in the comments

One thing I wanna achieve in whatever medium I choose is healthy and respectful representation. It’s more than diversity I believe, it’s showing people as people.
