Just like with Polites I actually do dislike it when people treat Calypso as a child, that is a full grown ass adult. Yes, she may not fully understand things (I believe that’s what Jorge said) but she is NOT a child and she is NOT innocent lol

I blame Percy Jackson for this because that book is probably the most popular adaptation of her and she’s seen as a child in it (weird in my opinion btw).

I don’t really like Calypso or Antinous but the way I see more hate towards Calypso compared to Antinous is a little weird in my opinion.

Listening to an audio book verison of the Iliad on YouTube and I had whiplash of it saying that Achilles was chestnut haired

Ain’t he supposed to be blonde or did I miss something

Also side note: I already dislike Achilles and Agamemnon equally and it’s only the first chapter/book

I like how this Danny guy’s first thought upon seeing Polites was to ask if he and Odysseus were a couple

Also glad to know he likes Polites, if he didn’t and he influenced people to dislike him I would have evaporated on the spot /lh

Also he is probably the first person I’ve seen to think that in open arms Odysseus was drawing his sword onto Polites (he said if he didn’t have visuals then that’s what he’d think was happening) I’m just 💀 ???
