Maybe not in front of strangers at a public karaoke bar... but singing a duet in private; it kinda makes you feel like you're on cloud nine, doesn't it? Took a moment today to let out some steam by finishing up this WIP I had laying around for ages while listening to my 'karaoke for on the road' spotify list. 'Our Love' by Curtis Harding ft. Jazmine Sullivan, 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell and 'Accidentally in love' by Counting Crows to name 3 from the top of my head.

It's just fun to sing and not to worry about whether or not you're good at it!

oh so. while i read a lot of romance i wish there were more destructive fiction. starting badly ending worse. theres quite a lot of destructive songs which i like a lot in fact! im all for people who sing about horrible stuff. but if its about reading i feel that the shift to romancize everything just stops you from having fucked up relationships of every damn kind where all could go wrong.

My friend took me to karaoke and the only song I knew all the lyrics to was Bewitched by Candlemass. Despite the plight that faced me I persevered through six minutes of badly singing and awkwardly bobbing my head through long intermissions with zero lyrics.
