Au: you've died however you find yourself waking up. You're greeted by a goddess who tells you that you must choose someone to reincarnate as. She also tells you that you'll have a SYSTEM.

Some things can't be avoided.

Wei Wuxian = you'll still fall down the burial mounds no matter what you do. ( SYSTEM will force you to go so killing wen chao isn't solving it. )

Lan Wanji = The whippings he got in the canon is something you're also going to suffer. ( If not for one reason than another SYSTEM will make sure of that. )

Jin guangyao = You must still kill Nie mingjue. ( Have fun dealing with Nie Huaisang. )

Wen Chao = Wei Wuxian MUST be thrown the burial mounds by you/Wen Chao and the Jiang's must be killed.

Jiang Yanli = Sacrificing yourself to save Wei Wuxian is something you must do. ( Going to the battlefield where she died. ) [ Hint: bring a sword instead of going weaponless like the canon and learn to use it. Might help :) ]

Wen Qing = you will still have to do the golden core removal to wei wuxian. You must also turn yourself in to the Jin's.

A/N: So the time has finally come for me to post my first fan fiction on tumblr. This will be a canon divergence au. Characters are based on the live series (Chen Qing Ling/The Untamed) both in appearance and back story. I will pick up the story during ep.26 after Wei Wuxian finds Wen Ning. Alive! The pursuit of the Wen Clan's remaining members is cancelled and Wei Wuxian won't become the Yiling Patriarch. Also him and Lan Wangji are together in this because I make the rules.

I'm not promising a quick update as I am busy with my intern year BUT I will be free in two weeks time. I will happily tag anyone who would like to get a reminder when this gets posted!

Summary: You are the distant cousin of the Lan brothers. Even though you didn't grow up with them, you spent a lot of time in Cloud Recesses. After your parents died, you moved in to Cloud Recesses. Your best friends are Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli.

After the Sunshot Campaign, the members of the Wen Clan are pursued and killed. Wei Wuxian, with the help of his family and the Lan Clan, manages to stop the massacre and save the remaining innocent members of the Wen Clan. SYNOPSIS; Lan Wangji is obsessed with the reader after she helped him in the cloud recess and now, he doesn't want to let you go.

╭ Chapter 1 - 4.1k+ words ╰┈➤ Back story on how LWJ and you met, the Wens burned down the Cloud Recesses and this is when you started to help the Gusu Lan Sect in the aftermath, just like your brother and sister (Wen Qing adn Wen Ning). But as you helped out, you were in a lot of secret meetings with LWJ. But this caused LWJ to fall more desperately obsessed with you than he already was. During the Xuanwu of slaughter, you get captured from the Lan's and Jiangs by your own clan members Wen Xu and Wen Chao because you were helping the 'enemy'.

| Chapter 2 - 2.8k+ words ╰┈➤ You get saved by Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji (individually). But Lan Wangji's obsession turns into love and to repay Jiang Cheng's kindness, you work as a spy for him to help during the massacre of the Lotus Pier event. Which causes Jiang Cheng to fall in love with you. The sunshot campaign was up and running, but it wasn't something you, a healer should be fighting for causing you to get injured. Lan Wangji saves you and brings you to Gusu to hide and recuperate, taking care of you.

| Chapter 3 - 2.3k+ words ╰┈➤ Jiang Cheng searches for you as you left the Jiangs so suddenly, so, Wangji gets the wrong idea, thinking you are lovers. This moment creates just the beginning of his yandere tendencies and his demeanour changes. An argument arises and he kisses you which then leaves you wondering why Lan Wangji is doing this, the HanGuang-Jun is kissing you with such anger. Then, this leads to non-consensual sex but Wangji makes sure to take care of you in the kindest way possible, calming you dow and after it leads to Dubconsensual sex now that you have realised your feelings for him

| Chapter 4 - 1.9k words ╰┈➤ The war has now passed and Lan Wangji is taking care of you and helping you search for your siblings. When you two found them, you requested to stay with them in Yiling, to leave Wangji. But this caused Lan Wangji's already yandere personality to rise to another level. He wants to bring her back to Gusu and marry her, but she doesn't want to, she wants to stay with Jiang Cheng, her siblings and doesn't want to follow the 3000 rules.

| Chapter 5 - 3.9k words ╰┈➤ This results in Wangji kidnapping her and hiding her secretly, visiting her to only have sex. He loves her of course, but he spends time with her, not only to have sex, but to be near her. This is the softest Lan Wangji will ever be towards you. You tried to run away from him, only because you felt suffocated hiding, Jiang Cheng tried to help but failed. The second attempt you made by yourself and that soft love you were getting changed, it was only rough, dominating sex. But he accidentally confesses and you did to, which changed the mood, it wasn't rough, but just intense.

| Chapter 6 - 900+ words ╰┈➤ Wangji is satisfied, now knowing that you aren't lovers with Jiang Cheng, that you're just a good friend. So now he has you all to himself, your his and no one else's. Then you two get married, it's just the two of you, his pretty wife. You two celebrate during the lantern festival together and send of a lantern, knowing that it's just the two of you forever.

If it Means to Remain by Your Side

From the list I posted yesterday, I'm gonna start with the Dan Heng x Reader MDZS inpsired fic first.

Characters and plot won’t be as accurate to the inspired plot. Especially for this story which involves a lot of adults and teens an not much children.  So many characters are left out simply due to the fact that a lot of npcs either didn’t fit the role, or were far too young for my standards.

I also ended up having to lean more onto the live action version than the novel/manhua version. Not all characters casted are exactly accurate too, as there are more traumatized than non-traumatized.

I literally looked up all the different alliance of Xianzhou just to see which would be Wen sect. So here’s the reasoning.

Luofu: They don’t really have a specialty. Their main goal is to take out abundance cult.

Yaoqing: Much like Luofu, don’t really have a specialty. Aggressive and good at martial arts.

Zhuming: Their main export specialty is porcelain. According to Fandom wiki, the people here love playing with fire.

Yuque: They export jade abaci, thus making me think they’ll be wealthy due to it and technologically advanced/smart.

Fanghu: Exports a lot of marine things. Though it would make since to have Dan Heng come from here, but it would not make sense for other characters like March and Jing Yuan to have been born here. And it’s the closest in description to Yunmeng.

Xuling: Not much is really stated about this place on Fandom Wiki, but it looks like a place of law. But piggybacking off of the fact that not much is written about this area, Imma just gonna liken this area to Burial Mounds.

MXTX's women part 2

Let's do ✨discourse™✨part 2

This is a follow up to this post where the only conclusions I came to were vibes based... mainly because my opinions here are generally vibes based (except svsss - I am pretty firm on my view of svsss, but that's a separate post). I think there are strong arguments either way, and tbh I have nothing against vibes based conclusions, but for fun, I'm going to take a position and argue for it.

disclaimer: 1) this post is not my opinion. 2) nonetheless, this post is entirely unironic. I think these are compelling arguments.

Position 1: MDZS and TGCF are sexist.

To recap, I posed (dramatically, in bold face) that the most important question to ask are: What is the intent? How is that intent received? This can be summed up as: What is the message you take away?

Obviously, you can fight me here, but I'll expand. Firstly, the question doesn't fundamentally come down to what the work contains, even though this is important. Every statement on the lines of 'x is sexist because it contains y' has a counterexample. Is the Handmaid's Tale sexist because it contains men in power and women treated as objects? Well op, this is a dumb example, you might say, and you would be right. The message of the Handmaid's Tale is clearly different from, say, MDZS and everything it contains is a support of that message - that a woman's reproductive freedom is her right. And I would go, ah ha, yes. Intent. (You can still disagree with me lol. This came out of a conversation literally a week ago.)

But also note, the author's actual intent is secondary. It's a useful framing to understand what the message is, but due to e.g. unconscious bias, or internalised sexism, the message gained by the reader/audience can be entirely independent of the intent of the author. For example, (one of my all time favourite c-dramas) the Secret of the Three Kingdoms I think is trying to be empowering for women, has lots of cool female characters, but the ultimate message can be summarised as 'men plough, women weave'... which is :/

Another subtlety to point out is that trends and popular tropes/archetypes tell a very different story when looked at overall. 'Woman in the refrigerator' and 'bury your gays' isn't a problem about individual works (although it often is mixed into other problems), but it's prevalence and dominance spreads harmful messages. A work which is great on it's own can actually be contributing to a wider problem, thus making it a problem.

MDZS: Women as accessory

It's not that difficult to argue that MDZS has an exceptional cast of women. I have no intention of arguing that MDZS's women aren't well developed, because enough people have come up with compelling counterarguments and they aren't hard to find. I think MDZS's portrayal of sexism is both exceptionally nuanced and not something you see much of. I love the way MDZS uses and breaks down tropes. I would argue (have argued) that the way MXTX puts sexism into her works is (at least partly) very much deliberate, and not with the intent of being sexist.

But remember, death of the author: author's original intentions don't matter in the face of what can be read from the text.

Notable in MDZS is 1) the lack of female characters who aren't defined by their relation to a major male character 2) women in the refrigerator.

1) Jiang Yanli is Wei Wuxian's older sister. Yu Ziyuan is Wei Wuxian's adopted mother. Wang Lingjiao is Wen Chao's girlfriend. Madam Jin, Meng Shi, Qin Su. Now, there are notable exceptions. Wen Qing is Wen Ning's sister, but her character is substantial even without that. Luo Qingyang (mianmian). Sisi (arguably). But there are overwhelmingly more male characters, and perhaps more importantly, hardly any male characters defined by their relation to a female character. There are a few. Madam Mo and her husband. Jin Zixuan as Jiang Yanli's husband (arguably). This isn't an exhaustive list but you get the idea.

2) Well, firstly, most of them die. Yu Ziyuan ends up in an unhappy marriage and dies as her sect burns down. Jiang Yanli loses a husband and then sacrifices herself for her brother. Wang Lingjiao gets offed by Wei Wuxian. Qin Su is killed by her husband. Mo Xuanyu's mother and Madam Jin just die of 'heartbreak' for what? Plot convenience? More egregiously, all of these deaths are there to either a) plot reasons or b) to add to the development of a male character. This is precisely the 'women in the refrigerator' trope, but multiplied a million times.

The only female character who got her happy ending was Mianmian... who lives a simple life with her family in the middle of nowhere. And it's great that in being brave and pursuing the right thing, she found happiness for herself, but this being the only example is um...

Well, the message feels suspiciously like women exist only for men. Men are the protagonists of their stories. Women are accessories. Sounds pretty sus. Maybe this is all due to the sexism of the world, but the message is then that the only way for women to succeed is to leave the system altogether, which is a nuanced thing but not true and somewhat unhelpful as a message.

Now, arguably, MXTX is leaning into tropes in order to be critical of them. Her female characters are full of tropes, and subversions of tropes - they could act as a critique of female characters in BL (in the way the female characters in SVSSS are critique of female characters in harem). There are a few pointers to this - Mianmian standing up to sexism, or the depth and nuance of Yu Ziyuan finding power+influence through her marriage of Jiang Fengmian. But the point stands is that isn't the message most people take away, because of the way MDZS is framed. MDZS just works as a xianxia action/romance. It isn't a parody (or at least, you don't need to read it as one to follow it). It isn't explicitly critical of how the women end up, nor is the narrative centered around the experiences of women. It is very easy to take away the surface level messages, which I think many people end up doing.

Whatever MXTX intended to say with her female characters, arguably MDZS already adds to an existing problem in how media portrays women. Media plays a huge role in how we see ourselves and other people, and unideal representation of women can lead to unconscious biases and stereotypes which are harmful. This being the case, one could argue that any media that fails to either fix the issue or address the issue sufficiently is problematic. On this vein, MDZS falls short.

TGCF: women as secondary

While TGCF improves on the front of women in power doing well, and more explicitly calling out the sexism of the world, it fails at a different front: the lack of women within the core plot.

The structure of TGCF is very different to MDZS, in that it contains a lot of what I would call 'side quests'. This is not a bad thing (this is sort of the whole point of things like (old) Star Trek or Doctor Who). But the core story of TGCF is (arguably) 1) Xie Lian's two ascensions and in between 2) Meeting Hua Cheng at various points 3) Tonglu mountain. And within this core story, there isn't a single female character necessary for the plot.

Ling Wen, Xuan Ji, Banyue, Shi Qingxuan, Yushi Huang... are all exceptional female (and non-binary) characters in their own right, but the story doesn't require them. They could be swapped out quite easily with other characters, unlike e.g. main pair, Feng Xin, Mu Qing, Jun Wu... (Note this isn't about how often they appear, or how developed they are. Lang Ying (the old one) doesn't appear a lot, but is essential to the plot.) (Yushi Huang and Ling Wen are kind of required, but equally for like... quest and item giving purposes which is not really the same.)

It's almost like there is no female person in Xie Lian's life who is essential to his personhood. And the message might inadvertently be that women are part of side quests - they aren't necessary.

This is, in part, a Xie Lian problem. The narration is tied closely to Xie Lian's pov (but isn't third person limited, interestingly), and we get delights like this:

Aside from the fact that Xuan Ji went mad whenever she ran into Pei Ming, she was otherwise much more detail-oriented and cautious than Qi Rong - she was a woman, after all.

(btw, be exceptionally suspicious of statements like 'women are more detail-oriented and cautious'. They are often wrong, or with heavy caveats.)

This is not on it's own a bad thing - e.g. compare with Shen Qingqiu's narration in SVSSS. But it is arguably a bad thing if you pair it with the fact that Xie Lian is 1) presented as much more likable than Shen Qingqiu 2) is not as obviously bias. He comes across as a trustable character, and so we are less likely to question his biases... so we run into the same problem as in MDZS: we aren't led to question the surface level messages, so the message we take away is an unhelpful one.

I feel like the way around this is (somewhat paradoxically) to reintroduce female characters whose lives (from narrator pov) revolve around the protagonist. (e.g. get in an Jiang Yanli) (The 800 year time skip means they either need to 1) become gods, 2) become ghosts 3) die, all of which have their own potential problems but that's for the author to figure out :p) Making Xie Lian less sexist would be slightly unrealistic but not at all out of character. Having Xie Lian's biases explicitly called out and this be a big thing is another way to go. Or both.

To conclude

Both points fall down to something along these lines: although both MDZS and TGCF make attempts at commentary on the struggles of women, because this narrative is not at the forefront of the story they inadvertently give across only half the message, which is worse than no message at all. 'There are tropes within the genre which treat women badly and this is bad' becomes 'women are like what these tropes say they are like'. 'Women aren't given opportunities so end up worse off' becomes 'women end up worse off'.

Maybe something in between MDZS to TGCF would be an improvement, but also, if the focus on male characters meant these narratives were difficult to execute within a reasonable word count, it might have been better to just skip sexism altogether. (sci fi is usually where this is attempted seriously, but fantasy definitely has scope for imagining better societies.) (This is all much easier said than done btw. Part of a fan's job is to stand on the sidelines and complain, right? 😂)

Wen Qing is all terse and concise commands when she parts with her brother, quickly searching for some extra herbs as Wen Ning moves over to the empty cot to place you down

she is quick to return to your side

when she sits down at your bedside, her doctor side takes over, hands moving, thoughts and remedies blending together 

Wen Ning looks on from the side, feeling helpless,

he watches with bated breath, and his short wait pays off when Wen Qing leans back, her brow easing slightly when she figures out a diagnosis

“deadly nightshade...” Wen Qing announces, looking over to her brother who only returns with a confused look

“y/n is exhibiting the same symptoms as people who have consumed the poison of the plant. not lethal if you get treated quickly at the onset, which you did” Wen Qing explains,

she places a reassuring hand on her younger brother, calming his shaking knee

Wen Qing turns back to you, fixing up a small neutral toxin from the herbs that she had brought from before, to give some time to hold the poison off while she makes the antidote

“jie” Wen Ning’s voice is solemn

she is not surprised as much as she is worried

he barely has time to grab you when you attempt to run out straight at the demon in the middle of the forest,

“stop, y/n, you’ve been poisoned,” Jiang Cheng warns you, his breath warm at the side of your face

you huff an amused laugh at him, making to shrug his hands off

it stays stubbornly on your shoulders

“don’t worry, i don’t die easily Sect Leader,” you reassure him, 

Jiang Cheng’s always hated how lightly you valued your life, 

it reminded him too much of someone he knew

he didn’t want you to end up with the same fate,

“Jiang Wanyin, move your hand, let me aid the cultivators,” you spit out at him, 

you only ever use his name when you’re really annoyed with him, 

but Jiang Cheng can’t heed your words,

not when he sees your blood stained at the edge of your lips

or the hazy look that setting into your eyes,

“the more you move the faster the poison spreads-”

“it’s okay-”

“no it’s not, y/n-”

“the safety of our sect and juniors is more important!” you shout at him, for the first time 

Jiang Cheng stares at you

it’s been a while since the last time someone had spoken up to him,

and you don’t quite believe that he would go that extent 

so you struggle against him a little bit

in a blink of an eye he’s immobilized you

while that stops you from moving, it doesn’t aid with holding the poison back from spreading further in your body

and because you can’t protest, Jiang Cheng scoops you up and runs away from the danger with you in his arms

Wei Wuxian takes in a deep breath, looking down at your sleeping form in his lap,

Wei Wuxian’s lips are tinged red and black, from the dark bad blood that had caused your erratic breathing all those hours before

Wei Wuxian stares at you again, lets out a sigh,

your face is peaceful, profile shaded in orange from the fire that you both are sharing

even when it had not looked that way at first

“there you are, princess,” Wei Wuxian quibs, though as your vision focuses you notice the shininess of his eyes,

you blink at him, take in a soft breath, 

“you’re okay?” you ask, 

and your question makes him want to tear his heart in half, 

“of course i am. but you, you could’ve-”

Wei Wuxian can’t find himself finishing the rest of the sentence, subconsciously tightening his hold around your wrist,

at his reaction you blink slowly at him, letting out a gentle huff 

suddenly Wei Wuxian feels his breath stuttering when your eyes flutter close again,

“y/n,” Wei Wuxian calls out, his hand cupping your face as your head lulls into his stomach,

you blink your eyes open for a moment, then tilt your head to rest against his stomach, comfortable

“i’m just sleepy, i promise,” you say softly, eyes already falling close

“let me sleep,” you mumble, and Wei Wuxian huffs out a sigh, a mixture of exasperation and relief

though as you drift off to the crackling of the fire wood, you feel a warm hand pat your head, and another intwine with your fingers,

holding you close

Requested by anonymous: Hello! I can ask Wei Wuxian x reader where he discovers he has a twin sister (they were separated after birth) and he goes to look for her. WWX finds out that her little sister (reader) was raised by the Wen clan and she is very close to Wen Qing and Wen Ning. Being kind, she is often bullied by Wang Lingjiao. How will WWX react when he meets her and she finds out about her family?

Pairing: Wei Wuxian x sister!reader (platonic)

Word Count: 951 words

Your eyes were closing slowly, your whole body tired from the constant training you had to go through. Wen Ning was beside you, completely oblivious to your exhaustion as he drank from his water flask before offering it to you. You took it, taking a big swig from the flask before handing it back.

"Since when do you practice sword fighting so much." You asked the younger and he looked at you, smiling brightly.

"Wuxian-ge taught me!" He said happily and you frowned.

"Who?" "Ah, Wei Wuxian-ge." He explained and your eyes widened.

"Wei?" You asked and he nodded, a pout forming on his face in confusion. "Do you know him?" He asked and you nodded softly, but not continuing the conversation any further than that.

Wuxian sighed, twirling his sword in his hand as he held onto the letter, reading it slowly before freezing on the spot as he read the first sentence.

"What are you doing?" Jiang Cheng said, pushing his brothers shoulder softly before looking at the letter.

"Who's is that?" "I have a sister..." He mumbled, still staring at the letter with a slight smile now.

"You have a what now?" Jiang Cheng asked again and Wuxian smiled more brightly, looking at his brother.

"I have to go! See you later!" He exclaimed, running off and leaving a confused Jiang Cheng behind.

Wei Wuxian ran into his room, grabbed his bag and filled it with some stuff before racing back out of his room and out of Lotus Pier, only receiving glances from his youngers and some even snickered, thinking that he was pulling some shenanigan's once again.

By horse, it only took him 5 days to get there and soon enough he was standing at the gates, Wen Qing smiling slightly as she had just returned from something with a bag in her hands.

"You should've told us you were coming. Wen Ning wouldn't shut up about you." She spoke and Wuxian smiled back brightly as he dismounted his horse.

"Well, I wasn't going to wait after finding out I have a sister." He said, smile brightening once more as he walked inside by Wen Qing's side. It was only 3 minutes when Wen Qing suddenly paused, her eyes moving to a figure in the distance. Wuxian followed her gaze and it landed on a girl in black and red clothes, much like himself. He couldn't help but stare, feeling like he knew her from somewhere.

The girl was held back by two men as another woman in purple was screaming in her face before slapping the girl. The girl lunged to the side, but the 2 men that held her up pulled her back. She was basically hanging down in their arms, glaring at the woman in purple before being slapped once again.

Wei Wuxian didn't know why, but he felt anger bubble up in his chest. Wen Qing noticed, but didn't seem to care as she was already marching towards the 4. Wuxian followed her, the yelling becoming more clear before he watched Wen Qing glare at the guards, making them let go of the girl.

You felt your knees buckle from underneath you as the guards let go of yours arms, but you didn't hit the ground as someone helped you back up. You looked up, seeing a man with long black hair and black and red robes much like you. You stared at him for a few seconds before standing on your own and letting go of his arms. He gave you a small smile before looking at Wen Qing, who was glaring at Wang Lingjiao with a passion.

"Don't touch her." She said before turning to you, ignoring Lingjiao's screaming. Wuxian couldn't help it when he heard the name Wei fall of her lips and suddenly everything clicked. You were his sister, that's why he felt familiar around you. The three of you walked off, Wen Qing leading you both to her house.

"So, who is he?" You asked, pointing at Wuxian behind you and Wen Qing chuckled. "Your brother, of course." She explained and you frowned before looking at the man who was standing right behind you. He was smiling at you with a dashing smile and you looked back at Wen Qing.

"You're sure?" You asked before laughing at Wuxian's expression.

"Don't stay there, come on in. I'm just joking." You said, pulling him in and he turned even more confused.

"Are you not surprised at all?!" "Not really. A-Ning talks about you all the time, you're his role model." You said with a small smile and he awkwardly laughed back.

"That being said, we should go out of here since A-Qing has to work." You said as you noticed Wen Qing gathering ingredients and such. Wuxian nodded and followed you out.

"So, where did you end up?" You asked as you followed the road in front of you, walking backwards so you could look at your brother.

"Yunmeng. They took me in when I was about 5 years old..." He said before looking at you again, stopping and leaning forward.

"We don't really look alike even though were twins." He said and you shrugged, slowing your pace as well.

"At 5... Lucky, I only got found when I was 9. They dragged me here since I didn't want to follow. I screamed the whole way. here" You laughed at the memory, looking down a bit embarrassed as you told the story.

"I was found by my sister. And Jiang Cheng had to lose his dogs because of me, he hated me for a few years but we're pretty close now." He said, giving you yet another smile. You grinned at him before throwing your arm around his shoulders and pulling him down to your height.

"So, do you like pranking people?" You asked and he just answered with a wicked smile.

A/n: I can relate to this one so much, I was sick a week ago and I legit felt like dying.

- God

- She would be so mad at you at first

- Like scolding you like a mother would to a child

- Always telling you to stay inside since your so fragile

- But do you care?

- No. Obviously.

- When your sick and lying on your bed with a cold towel on your head

- She'll be by your side the whole time, next to the bed reading a book and keeping your company

- Every time you trying to sit up, she'll strictly tell you to lay back down.

- "What are you doing?! Lay back down!" "But I feel fine right now-" "You talk anymore your fever will come back up again!"

- Everytime you get hurt, Wen Qing will be treating your wounds along with scolding you

- Making sure your comforted as she hugs you in her arms

Him and the reader are very close friends and are both top students in the lan clan. However to protect Yuan during an ambush of puppets during a night hunt she ends up getting badly hurt and falls into a coma for a long time while recovering and him taking care of her.

You and Sizhui were the perfect duo, he was defense and you were offense in any night hunt. You both thought that today’s night hunt will be easy but you were wrong.. There were puppets! “Don’t inhale the poisonous mist Y/N!” Sizhui says while covering his face in just the right time while you inhaled some since you were the closets among the 4 ( Junior quartet UwU ).. “Y/N!!” You were late to cover your face but you turned back and saw a puppet aiming at Sizhui you run as fast as you could and used your self as a shield to protect your friend. “Y-Y/N..” You were bleeding from your shoulder, it was quite deep and a massive amount of blood loss. “What do we do..” Jin Ling says still horrified “We have to treat her! But.. There is no physician around in this area and she will most likely die of blood loss and the mist..” Says Zizhen. Sizhui hugs you closer to him and brings you to a safer place while he rips his sleeve and used it to clean and wound while Jingyi and Jin Ling bring him some water. “What can we expect from the top student! He can do first aid though.” Says Jingyi, Sizhui just laughs a little while he was done treating the wound. “Jingyi I will cook some food when we get back. Tell senior Wei and Hanguang-Jun.” Jingyi replies with a “Mn.” And all hurry up to go to Gusu while Sizhui is carrying you on his arms.

“Hanguang-Jun! Wei-Qianbei!” The 4 scream even if it is prohibited. “Y-Y/N.. She..” As the ONLY girl in the juniors YOU were supposed to be protected but then you were always the one who literally saves their soft behinds from getting whipped or slashed. But this time it was uncalled for.. “Take her inside. We will ask a doctor to treat her wound.” they all waited outside until the doctor went out and told them what they must do “I had already fed her the antidote for the poison, all she needs to do is rest for some days since this type of poison drains spiritual energy and weakens the body.. Assign anybody close to her and whom she trusts to take care of her for a couple of days until she feels better. By then her fever will be gone and by then NO night hunts till you boys are ready to protect a girl from ever having this kind of a serious injury!” the doctor points her finger at the 4 “Yes ma’am.. And thank you.” They reply politely as the doctor packs her stuff and changes your robes. “I changed her robes by now she should be sleeping. A lot of blood was lost so was the spiritual energy.. No need to transfer though, the medicine will make her better.” then she left. Sizhui couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking on what he could’ve done to protect you from being hurt.. He felt guilty.. After a week you still couldn’t move your arm.. You were in his care and often cried tears when he changed your bandages “I-I’m so sorry!!” Sizhui panics since the doctors have a day-off “I-It hurts..” Your voice sounds so.. dry.. “Here drink some tea..” The tea was warm and it soothe you a little but the pain is still there.. He rubs your back and you hug him with your other arm. You hiss slightly when he applied medicine on your wound “It will get better.. Don’t worry Y/N..” Jingyi, Zizhen, and Jin Ling has never seen you shed a tear! Or worse.. Cry.. It was worse when you had to sit up and lie down, so of course every time that happens you cry and no wonder why your eyes are so red and puffy. “We’re sorry Y/N!!” The 3 kneeled in front of you while bowing their heads. “H-hey.. It’s okay.. No need to kneel..” You say while wiping your tears. the cut was quite deep and it has only been a week since the juniors can hear your cries when Sizhui changes your bandages. Wei Wuxian already scolded them and they were punished ( except for Sizhui ) to copy all the 4,019 rules 20 times ( 80,380 rules to copy for each... ) You thought the punishment was too harsh bet nevertheless Lan Qiren instructed you to get better. After a month the pain was unbearable.. the doctor said you are getting better but your hand could barely move.. ( yes time skip ) After 3 months you finally got better but they didn’t know yet of course, they were still copying rules and Sizhui was making medicine for your wound. “Sizhui!!” He looked at you with eyes widening “Y/N! Stay in bed! Your wound-” He was interrupted by the strong hug you gave him ( I assume reader IS a Lan sorry if I am wrong ). He hugs you back and checks your wound “Does it hurt?” There was not much of a scar since the medicine was working well but it took a long time.. But atleast you were better! By now the 3 only copied half of the rules but you persuaded Lan Qiren to lift the punishment and he did “Fine.. But they will protect you since it was their fault too.” They thank you for saving their hands. Wei Wuxian ran over to you and hugged you that you almost fell “Y/N!!!!!! How are you feeling?! Is your wound better?! How is my favorite girl child?!” You laugh “Wait.. pfft.. Girl child? And I feel better.” You reply holding your laugh “GOOD! Looks like my Favorite child took care of you well!” You nod even if you cried many times ( He only saw the shoulder not half the body incase your wondering ) “But you cried many times! Even your eyes are red! Are you SURE?! Or did something happen?~” Wei Wuxian says to you while gripping to his husband “You!-” You were about to hit him but Sizhui hugged you from behind “Y/N..” You blush and say sorry to Wei Wuxian for almost hitting him “Ah, so something DID

happen?” “NO!! Well.. Not like that..” You both are a blushing mess because something did happen ( He confessed but I was lazy to write it i’m sorry! So yall basically BF and GF ) “We are dating now Wei-Qianbei.” Sizhui announces ( oml i’m off topic no? ) and the 4.. Wait.. No.. Sorry 5! Celebrate “You know we can plan a wedding-” You cut him off and “I’m too young!!” Your face was red as a tomato by now and they all laugh and you were still in his comforting arms.. He is definitely gonna think about this often now.

Ā-Yuàn, have you seen Ā-Qíng and Ā-Xiàn?" asked Lán Y/N (Yes your Lán Wàngjī and Lán Xīchén sister. RIP Lán Qǐrén)

"No," answered the small child as he shook his head. Lán Y/N sighed, it's been hours and they were still gone. She rested her face in her hands, as she sighed with frustration. Ā-Yuàn saw that Lán Y/N was upset, so he crawled towards her leg, and held onto it.

"What do you think you are doing?" asked Lán Y/N as Ā-Yuàn hugged her leg (why is he so adorable.)

"Ā-Yuàn, wants to cheer up Jiě jiě," said Ā-Yuàn as he rubbed his eyes.

"Ā-Yuàn, I'm fine" assured Y/n. "I'm just worried about them, that's all".

The child nodded his head and then started to yawn.

"It's getting late. Now go to sleep or else Ā-Xiàn will bury you in the dirt again. Do you want that?"

"No!" screamed the young child. He then saw Wèi Wúxiàn coming back and then he ran towards him.

"Ā-Yuàn, why are you screaming?" asked Wèi Wúxiàn as he squeezed his cheeks.

"Jiě jiě is bullying me," said Ā-Yuàn to Wèi Wúxiàn.

"Bullying?" chuckled Wèi Wúxiàn "Why would Jiě jiě bully you?"

"She said if I don't go to sleep, you'll bury me in the dirt like a turnip."

"How is that bullying, I was only looking out for you Ā-Yuàn and I was telling the truth." scoffed Y/n.

"Well you better listen to her because I'll do that to you again if you don't go to sleep," said Wèi Wúxiàn as he tried to tickle Ā-Yuàn.

"No! Jiějiě help me!" laughed Ā-Yuàn as he tried to get out of Wèi Wúxiàn hold.

Lán Y/N ran towards Wèi Wúxiàn and tackled him to the ground.        

"Oh, look who's breaking all the rules today." teased Wèi Wúxiàn.

"Stop kidding around Wèi Wúxiàn, you always knew I was the odd one out of my family," said Y/N.

"What would your uncle say if he saw this sight?"

" He would say "How preposterous! Lán Y/N, copy out the rules of Gusu 3000 times", said Y/n as she imitated her uncle.

Wén Qíng had just arrived and felt a bitter and sour taste in her throat, as she saw the sight of Lán Y/n and Wèi Wúxiàn together.

"ahem..." interrupted Wén Qíng.

"Oh no, someone is in trouble Ā-Yuàn." teased Wèi Wúxiàn. "Ā-Yuàn, why don't we go back to granny?"

"No," pouted Ā-Yuàn as held on tightly to Lán Y/N's leg. "Ā-Yuàn wants to stay with Jiějiě."

"Ā-Yuàn, go with Wèi Wúxiàn. I just need to talk with Ā-Qíng for a second, then I'll be with you." Y/n said as she patted Ā-Yuàn's head.

The small child nodded his hand and removed his hands from Lán Y/N's leg. He then followed Wèi Wúxiàn, so that the two girls could have some privacy.

"Ā-Qíng, are you alright?" asked Lán Y/N.

"I'm fine," said Wén Qíng.

Lán Y/N knew she was lying so she decided to test her.

"Alright then, if you don't need me then I'll be with Ā-Yuàn...

and Wèi Wúxiàn " said Lán Y/N.

"Wait..." said Wén Qíng.

"Yes?"

"Do you like...." hesitated Wén Qíng " Wèi Wúxiàn?"

" Wèi Wúxiàn is a very nice person. He's very funny but...he doesn't like me. As his heart belongs to someone else." sighed Lán Y/N. " and I also like someone else."

Wén Qíng started to have hope, and her eyes lit up as she heard what Lán Y/N said.

"Even though our love is forbidden. I don't care. Even though they are from the Wén clan, and I am from the Lán clan, I will find a way for us to be together." said Lán Y/N as she put her hand on top of Wén Qíng's hand.

"Who could it be?" thought Wén Qíng. "Is it Wēn Níng? Is it Wēn Cháo but how could a lovely, funny girl be with a monster like him?"

"It's you," said Lán Y/N as she kissed Wén Qíng.

Wén Qíng was surprised at this. How could a mischievous, beautiful girl from the Lán sect fall in love with a Wén?

"Even though I'm from the Lán sect, and you're from the Wén sect. I still love you and I am happy to face the consequences with you," said Lán Y/N as she hold tightly to Wén Qíng hand.

"You do know the consequences right?" asked Wén Qíng.

"As I said before, I know the consequences and I am ready to face them with you," said Lán Y/N as she gave Wén Qíng another kiss and connected their lips together.
