Mdzs scenario!
MO DAO ZU SHI X READER
(NO GENDER MENTIONED)
Au: you've died however you find yourself waking up. You're greeted by a goddess who tells you that you must choose someone to reincarnate as. She also tells you that you'll have a SYSTEM.
(read the bottom for more info pls)
Some things can't be avoided.
Wei Wuxian = you'll still fall down the burial mounds no matter what you do. ( SYSTEM will force you to go so killing wen chao isn't solving it. )
Lan Wanji = The whippings he got in the canon is something you're also going to suffer. ( If not for one reason than another SYSTEM will make sure of that. )
Jin guangyao = You must still kill Nie mingjue. ( Have fun dealing with Nie Huaisang. )
Wen Chao = Wei Wuxian MUST be thrown the burial mounds by you/Wen Chao and the Jiang's must be killed.
Jiang Yanli = Sacrificing yourself to save Wei Wuxian is something you must do. ( Going to the battlefield where she died. ) [ Hint: bring a sword instead of going weaponless like the canon and learn to use it. Might help :) ]
Wen Qing = you will still have to do the golden core removal to wei wuxian. You must also turn yourself in to the Jin's.
Who do you choose? THINK carefully.
Author note: sorry if this doesn't make much sense it's all for fun so don't think much of it! Leave a note to support me <3 thank you for reading.

Hi, can I request an OS with Lan Wangji and female reader? Reader was given as a gift to Wangji to serve him as a maid by another clan. Reader belongs to a poor background (she was an orphan grown up in a foster home). Reader feels honoured to be his maid and serves HanGuang-Jun with all her heart. Slowly, Wangji developed feelings for reader and started loving her secretly. He becomes protective of her and started getting jealous whenever she gets attention from other mdzs boys. Reader has a crush on HanGuang-Jun but she never expected that someone like Lan er-gongzi who is a noble man belongs to the highest social class can like her, let alone love her(reader is an underconfident maiden because of her poor background). Wangji started dropping subtle hints for the reader to show his love for her. Like, one day, Wangji took reader's hands in his and made her touch his forehead ribbon, which reader misunderstood as a mistake. Another day, he played guqin for the reader when she was unable to fall asleep. Some other day, he kissed her forhead & cheeks when she was playing with his rabbits. One day, Wangji takes the reader to Caiyi town for Yuan Xiao festival. Reader loves going to festivals and fairs a lot since she never got a chance to go there during childhood (she mentioned it to him casually one day) where they both light a lantern together and wish to stay together forever. Wangji couldn't stop himself from kissing her when he feels the reader so close to him which made her really surprised since she didn't believe what has just happened😳 Wangji takes her to a restaurant to eat where someone spiked her tea and reader got drunk. They decided to stay in a hotel in same room and Wangji takes care of the drunk reader. Her cute antics made him laugh and gives him a hard time to control himself as he doesn't want to take advantage of her in drunken state. (You can add as many cute antics as you want as drunk reader is quite adorable and cute). Once she became sober, there, sitting on his lap, reader asks Wangji, "why does he not treat her like a maid anymore? Why did he kiss her?(touching her lips while saying that), What does he feel about her? Why is he holding her in his arms like this as it is forbidden to be like this with a maid?" To which Wangji replies that, "he will never treat her as a maid because she is his woman and he consider the reader as his wife, his soulmate, his everything. And he is holding her like this because she is his and she will remain in his arms forever." Listening to this, reader kisses him and Wangji couldn't control himself anymore so they both kisses each other passionately and things got heated from there between them and they had sex in the hotel room(you can write implied nsfw if you are not comfortable). Lying naked in each other's arms, reader asked Wangji if it is okay to be intimate with a maid? Is it not forbidden to have a relationship like this between a master and servant? To which Wangji made her touch his forehead ribbon and declares that only she is allowed to touch his forehead ribbon as he considers reader his spouse. Reader gets emotional and they had sex again, this time Wangji being gentle with her as she was already sore from previous rounds. Next day, when they go back to cloud recess, Wangji tells Zewu-Jun that he wants to marry the reader ceremoniously and Zewu-Jun shows his concerns regarding Shūfù's reaction as he will never accept reader (a maid from low class) as Wangji's wife. When Shūfù called HanGuang-Jun and Zewu-Jun to talk about this matter, to convince him not to marry the maid reader, Wangji declared that the reader has already became his woman because Wangji has embraced the reader and had taken her virginity, her honour. The marks she bears on her body are the evidence of their passionate night together. Shūfù has no other choice so he accepts their relationship and reader and Wangji gets married in a traditional ceremony and declares their love to each other and vows to stay with each other forever. Thank you in advance😊
Thank you so much for requesting! I hope you like this oneshot that I wrote. I unfortunately did had to split into 3-5 parts as it was very long, and there are some parts such as smut that might be uncomfortable for some readers. As not everyone is okay with the idea of smut however, I really hope that you like the one shots, as I personally loved writing it!
Unspoken Bonds
From the earliest days of y/n's life, a sense of unrelenting hardship took root, as she navigated a world that was harsh and unforgiving. Abandoned to the streets with neither family nor means, she fell into the hands of a family that offered shelter, but at a cost that was far from kind. This supposed refuge, unfortunately, evolved into a crucible of cruelty that shaped her formative years.
Optimism, naive yet persistent, had once painted this family as her potential saviors, a way out of the torment she had known. Yet, the stark reality unfolded with a grim contrast. Instead of the sanctuary she yearned for, she became a target for their frustrations and anger. Mistakes, no matter how minor, ignited storms of abuse that rained down upon her fragile shoulders.
Her daily life became an endless cycle of servitude. Cooking and cleaning were the tasks she was relegated to, her hands worn from the labor that sustained the very family that ought to have nurtured and protected her. But instead of gratitude, they rewarded her dedication with disrespect, dehumanizing her by spitting on her, a poignant reminder of her status as the lowest rung in their household.
Time went by, and the cruelty only intensified. The shadows of her circumstances grew darker, blotting out any semblance of hope that dared to flicker within her. The family's satisfaction seemed to derive from her suffering, twisting her dreams into nightmares she couldn't escape.
And then, when their need for her waned, they made a callous decision that would forever alter her fate. Selling her, as if she were mere chattel, became their solution to an inconvenience they no longer wished to tolerate. To a neighboring clan hungry for power and willing to pay, y/n was a transaction, a cruel exchange of money for a life.
In the face of life's unrelenting challenges, y/n remained resolute and unyielding. Despite the difficulties that surrounded her, she refused to surrender to adversity. Over time, her indomitable spirit led her to forge meaningful connections with the fellow maids and servants who, like her, dedicated their lives to serving the illustrious Xiao family. Through shared experiences and a mutual understanding of their circumstances, the bonds of friendship blossomed, offering solace and camaraderie in a world that often seemed harsh and unforgiving.
Yet, as the hands of fate would have it, echoes of history began to resurface. Just when y/n believed she had found her place amidst the companionship of kindred spirits, an unexpected twist emerged. Rumors spread, whispered in hushed tones among the manors' inhabitants, conveying a revelation that cast a shadow over the newfound harmony y/n had cultivated. It was decided that y/n would be entrusted as a gift to the revered Gusu Lan Clan, an act motivated by a deep sense of gratitude.
The Gusu Lan Clan, renowned for their steadfast support of the small clan to which y/n had belonged, offered her presence as a token of appreciation. It was a gesture meant to convey not only the Xiao family's acknowledgment of the Gusu Lan Clan's assistance but also their genuine desire to strengthen the ties between their clans.
Prior to y/n's entrance into Gusu as Lan Wangji's maid, a myriad of rumors had reached her ears, painting a multifaceted portrait of the enigmatic man. Whispers echoed about his piercing gaze, capable of peering into the depths of one's soul, and tales circulated of his unwavering adherence to rules and decorum, lending an air of unwavering obedience to his presence, seemingly mirroring the very essence of Lan Qiren.
However, as y/n stepped into her role and began to interact with Lan Wangji on a more intimate level, she found that reality diverged from these conjectures. The man who stood before her was not a mere embodiment of rumors; he was a complex individual with layers that extended far beyond the whispers of gossip. Yes, there existed an initial distance between them, a consequence of his accustomed solitude, yet this did not deter her from pursuing a genuine connection.
As y/n assumed her role as Lan Wangji's dedicated maid, a profound sense of honor enveloped her. Each task she performed, every moment she spent in his presence, was imbued with a deep reverence for the man she served, HanGuang-Jun. Her heart swelled with pride as she tended to his needs, and she approached her duties with an unwavering commitment that stemmed from a genuine admiration for his character.
In her eyes, every action was a testament to her devotion. She meticulously arranged his belongings, ensuring that his environment was one of tranquility and order. The act of preparing his tea became a ritual, a delicate balance of precision and care. As she observed him from the periphery, his presence radiated a quiet strength that commanded respect and kindled an unspoken understanding between them.
Amid the tranquil rhythm of their daily tea ceremony, Lan Wangji's voice cut through the stillness with a question that echoed like the delicate chime of a distant temple bell. "Do I frighten you?" he inquired, his words carrying a weight that seemed to stretch beyond their immediate context.
Caught off guard by the unexpected inquiry, y/n paused in her meticulous task, her movements stilled by the gravity of his question. Her eyes met his, a moment of connection that held a world of unspoken sentiments. She could sense the complexity within those eyes, a depth of emotions that remained enigmatic yet inviting, like the surface of a tranquil pond concealing the currents below.
In response, her voice carried a gentle timbre laced with a touch of reverence, as she inclined her head in a respectful bow. "I'm sorry, Hanguang-Jun," she murmured, her words threaded with sincerity. "I didn't mean to offend you. Please forgive me."
With the pot placed delicately on the table, a fleeting impulse surged within y/n. An impulse to escape the room, to retreat from the intimacy of the moment. But before she could act upon it, her attempt to slip away was thwarted by the firm yet gentle grasp of Lan Wangji's hand. His touch was unexpected, a tether that pulled her back from the precipice of her own uncertainty.
"Stay," his voice resonated, carrying a command that was as soft as it was compelling. His gaze, steady and unwavering, met hers, and in that instant, she was held in his gaze as if suspended in time. His finger extended, pointing to the table that held the tea they were meant to share, a silent insistence that resonated more deeply than mere words.
Caught between his unspoken desire and her own momentary hesitation, y/n found herself rooted to the spot, her instincts conflicting with the undeniable pull of his presence. It was in this very moment that the lines between servant and master, duty and emotion, blurred into something more intricate and profound.
As she remained by the table, a swirl of emotions stirred within her. The unexpected touch, the commanding yet not unkind directive, created a fissure in the façade of their roles. A hint of vulnerability flickered in Lan Wangji's eyes, a vulnerability that mirrored her own feelings of uncertainty and longing.
This moment was the very beginning. A small, unassuming step that would unknowingly set the course for a transformation within her heart. The tiniest seed of affection, of admiration for the man who stood before her, took root and began to flourish. The reverence she had always held for him deepened, evolving into something more personal and profound.
As they shared the tea, the air between them seemed to shimmer with unspoken emotions. Her heart, once steady, now danced to the rhythm of a new melody, one that resonated with the harmony of unspoken feelings and secret desires.
Throughout their shared moments that accumulated over time, the connection between y/n and Lan Wangji had deepened and gave a rise to an enduring love that seemed to flourish with each passing day. The tender affection they nurtured for one another became a beacon of warmth in their lives, radiating an exquisite glow that illuminated even the darkest corners of their hearts.
Lan Wangji's regard for y/n was a testament to the transformational power of genuine love. Unlike the treatment meted out by the previous clans, he adorned y/n with the dignity and respect that she deserved. Each gesture, each word he spoke, was a brushstroke on the canvas of their relationship, carefully painting a masterpiece of equality and mutual admiration. The societal boundaries that typically governed interactions between different strata of society held no dominion in their bond.
On a serene day, with scrolls in her hands meant for Lan Wangji, y/n embarked on her journey towards his presence. However, her path was momentarily intercepted by the boisterous voice of Wei Wuxian. His voice echoed in the air, calling out to her, "Hey there, pretty lady!"
Pausing, y/n turned to face Wei Wuxian, a playful smile tugging at his lips. His inquiry was direct, laden with curiosity, "Why do you always hang around with that grumpy, old, boring, mean man?"
A chuckle escaped y/n as she contemplated the question. Wei Wuxian's amusement was evident, yet there was a genuine inquisitiveness in his gaze. "Grumpy, old, boring, mean man?" y/n repeated, a glint of humor dancing in her eyes. Then, with a sly grin, she ventured, "Lan Wangji?"
Wei Wuxian's nod confirmed her guess, and y/n couldn't help but offer a gentle smile. "You see," she began, her tone thoughtful, "It's my role to serve Lan Wangji, to assist him with tasks that are entrusted to me." Her words carried a sense of purpose, a conviction that underscored her actions.
The accusation that Lan Wangji was mean warranted a soft shake of her head. "Oh no, he's not mean," y/n corrected with an air of certainty. "In fact, he's anything but that. Lan Wangji has been a savior in my life, a pillar of support and understanding. His demeanor might seem reserved, but beneath that lies a depth of compassion and wisdom."
Y/n's words carried a weight of sincerity, a testament to the profound impact Lan Wangji had on her life. Her steadfast defense of his character was unwavering, rooted in the countless moments they had shared and the understanding that had grown between them.
She continued, her tone soft but unwavering, "It's true that his sternness may seem directed at times, but it's often a reflection of his dedication to principles and order. And as for you, Wei Wuxian," she paused, a playful glint entering her eyes, "you might find that his 'meanness' is a response to your rather inventive interpretations of the rules."
Wei Wuxian's laughter rang out, a melody of amusement that danced through the air. Y/n's steadfast loyalty and her ability to see beyond the surface intrigued him, a curiosity stirring within him like a hidden current beneath the surface.
Lan Wangji's arrival on the scene was as graceful as ever, his presence a calming breeze that stirred the air. A smile graced his lips as his gaze fell upon y/n, the sight of her never failing to evoke a sense of serenity within him. However, the tableau before him quickly shifted his emotions in an unexpected direction.
Observing the easy camaraderie between y/n and Wei Wuxian, their laughter and exchanged smiles, Lan Wangji felt a subtle pang in his chest—a twinge of jealousy that seemed to tighten his throat. The warmth that had previously filled him was now juxtaposed with a slight discomfort, a feeling he struggled to name.
"A-y/n," he addressed her, his voice steady but tinged with an undertone of something he himself couldn't quite grasp. Stepping into the midst of their discussion, his gaze fixed upon Wei Wuxian, his stare carrying a weight of warning, like a hawk assessing its territory.
Y/n's attention shifted seamlessly, her focus now on Lan Wangji, her demeanor respectful and attentive. "Hanguang-Jun," she acknowledged with a graceful bow, the gesture a testament to the deference she held for him.
The air seemed to hum with unspoken tension, the energy between the three of them palpable. Lan Wangji's reaction was a confluence of emotions, protectiveness for the bond he shared with y/n. A hint of insecurity at the sight of her engaged with another, and a flicker of curiosity about the nature of her rapport with Wei Wuxian.
Y/n's posture remained poised, her ability to navigate these subtle undercurrents a reflection of her perceptiveness. As her eyes met Lan Wangji's, there was a gentle reassurance in her gaze, a silent message that affirmed her unwavering regard for him.
Wei Wuxian, though he had been met with Lan Wangji's glare, seemed to take it all in stride. His own expression was a blend of mischief and curiosity, a playful acknowledgment of the tension that had arisen. It was as if he recognized the significance of Lan Wangji's feelings, perhaps even the depth of his emotions, without needing explicit words.
Amidst the charged atmosphere, Lan Wangji's composed demeanor remained a steadfast anchor. His subtle gesture caught y/n's attention, a silent communication that conveyed it was time to depart from the scene. Y/n's acknowledgment was swift—a nod that reflected her readiness to follow Lan Wangji's lead.
As if choreographed by an unspoken understanding, y/n gracefully turned her attention back to Wei Wuxian, her respectful bow a final farewell gesture. The act was imbued with a sense of gratitude for the exchange they had shared and a promise of a future encounter.
However, before the moment could dissolve into the annals of memory, Wei Wuxian's voice reverberated through the space like a lightning bolt. "DOES LAN WANGJI LIKE A-Y/N!?" The words were proclaimed with a volume that defied subtlety, and echoed.
The scene that followed was a mix of reactions that could only be expected in the wake of Wei Wuxian's exuberant declaration. The elder Lans, though mildly scandalized by the outburst, were not entirely surprised, a testament to Wei Wuxian's notorious reputation for audacious behavior.
"WEI WUXIAN!!!" Lan Qiren's stern voice shattered the calm like a thunderclap, a sharp reprimand that cut through the atmosphere with a forceful command. His displeasure was evident in both his tone and expression, a manifestation of the elder Lans' commitment to decorum and discipline. The echoes of his voice lingered in the air like a tangible reprimand.
Startled by the force of Lan Qiren's shout, Wei Wuxian's eyes widened and his heart raced. He was well accustomed to Lan Qiren's disapproval, yet the suddenness of it always managed to catch him off guard. Without a moment's hesitation, he turned on his heels, his quick retreat evidence of his familiarity with this routine.

How to Write a M/M Romance: Scum Villain's Bingqiu
Where Masculinity and Teacher/Student Intersect
Teacher Student Romance is the APPEAL, NOT a Plot Convenience
Easily the most problematic part about Scum Villain (beyond the dubcon papapa to save the world) is the teacher/student relationship baked into the main romance of the work—the one between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe. Not only is it pervasive, it's not even brushed aside for the reader to forget about, the way the problematic aspects of other medias often are.
In fact, unlike the way age is brushed aside in fantasy dramas that have "teenage protagonists" for marketing reasons, such as The Vampire Diaries or Re:Zero, where the age is only there to draw in a teenage audience and otherwise the characters act like young adults, Scum Villain's Teacher x Student is purposely highlighted in a way that makes it clear that the dynamic is part of its main appeal.
For one, Luo Binghe's main form of address for his romantic partner is "Shizun," calling him teacher in a super respectful, almost worshipful way. This is the opposite of weakening the unbalanced dynamic. It's elevating the Teacher/Student power imbalance (in ways that make the reader suspect it's a kink thing for Luo Binghe LMAO).
For two, Shen Qingqiu is cognizant of how bad it looks to be called Shizun in a romantic context, feeling textually weirded out when it happens during romantic relations. Despite this, most of the ways he shows affection to Luo Binghe are very paternalistic (milf-coded), such as scolding him in fond exasperation or kissing him on the forehead like a father. In addition, Luo Binghe is specifically noted for not having older male authority figures in his life other than Shen Qingqiu, as his adopted mother was a single woman and his bio father could not care less about the son his late wife gave up her life for (seemingly for no reason, BUT I'll get to that in a different meta) (AND despite ample evidence that he CAN be a good father to Luo Binghe's cousin).
And while one aspect of it is that the Shizun/disciple dynamic is a genre-wide trope thanks to the influence of the early work, The Return of the Condor Heroes, wherein the Confucian taboo of the teacher/student romance is a source of tension and excitement within the novel, I wouldn't say that that's the whole of why Scum Villain (SVSSS) emphasizes the teacher/student romance.
Why are We Hot For Teacher: Return of the Condor Heroes vs Scum Villain
For one, within Return of the Condor Heroes, the romance is between a male student and a female teacher (because it's a het novel, lol), but SVSSS is a BL novel and wouldn't necessarily need to play into such tropes to create this "taboo"-evoking tension.
A lot of BL novels already play into the way being gay is marginalized or frowned upon to accomplish this, for instance, SVSSS's author's latter work, Mo Dao Zu Shi (MDZS) (The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation), wherein the main character has compulsory heterosexuality.
For two, the dynamics of the Return of the Condor Heroes is playing with heteronormative ideas about the roles of men and women in romance. It's notable that the student is the male lover, and the master is the female lover in this relationship, playing with non-traditional ideas about who is submissive and who is dominant—while simultaneously using it to reaffirm traditional pursuer/pursued dynamics.
This male pursuer/female pursued dichotomy is not usually explicitly stated within media as that can seem sexist and clunky, rather it is usually implicit and portrayed through various contrivances. Xiaolongnu is a "cold beauty" who therefore must remain pure/aloof, which is accentuated by her role as a teacher, and while she is "dominant" as the teacher setting the terms for their relationship, it's mostly to emphasize the lengths that Yang Guo, the student, would go to pursue her. He becomes extra romantic for pursuing her while accepting her lead on choices like separating for 16 years.
In addition, the teacher/student relationship is a contrivance that affirms society's implicit bias about gender by giving textual, non-gendered excuses for the man to pursue. In this case, it would be an abuse of a teacher's power for Xiaolongnu to make the first move. Thus, traditional gender dynamics where men are the ones pursuing women are reaffirmed without making clunky statements about gender, even through nontraditional dynamics like a teacher/student relationship where the woman is dominant.
But, again, SVSSS is a BL, so the two main characters are both men, meaning there is no societal answer on who should be pursuer and the pursued. However, it is notable that SVSSS does play with this same dynamic of "cold, aloof teacher" and student who would go to extreme lengths to pursue them, while also purposely describing Luo Binghe as the "peak of masculinity."
This is where we start getting into SVSSS's intersection between Masculinity and the teacher/student relationship.
Because while although Condor Heroes uses the teacher/student relationship to affirm the heteronormative dichotomy of the male pursuer/female pursued, SVSSS's usage of this dynamic is in service of satirically demonstrating the "acceptable" avenues of affection when living as a man (since there's no women, and they're both men lol).
Teacher/Student Romance as a Way to Escape Restrictive Masculine Gender Roles
Teacher/student dynamic is a huge aspect to SVSSS because it’s a way to escape the masculine gender roles critiqued within the work. This is on the face of it obvious. Shen Qingqiu lets Binghe act bizarrely clingy under the assumption that he’s merely taking care of a filial or needy child. The understanding that "masculine men have to be straight" and the understanding that "Binghe is the most manly person within the novel as the stallion protagonist" intersect to ensure that any affection between them is strictly platonic, which is a double edged sword.
Because Shen Qingqiu allows Binghe close to him with the reassurance that Binghe HAS to be straight (a surprisingly common way for straight men to interact), that means that as Binghe ages, his access to affection will also get cut off, since he's supposed to be aging out of the role of a clingy student and into the role of stallion protagonist.
This is even grafted onto the scum villain/protagonist dynamic, as exactly at the point where Binghe's on the cusp of becoming an adult, Shen Qingqiu is forced to be the opposite of affectionate and become the villain by throwing him down into Xianxia hell. Which, to him, means that he's killed his baby student and replaced him with a stallion protagonist out to take him out.
So when Binghe becomes an adult, he loses access to affection along two axises within Shen Qingqiu's mind. The first being that he's now vengeful stallion protagonist out to get him throwing him away, which is the explicit reason Shen Qingqiu rebuffs him. And the second being that he's now a straight adult man who isn't supposed to get affection from his old teacher, which is also a factor.
This loss and transformation into a protagonist causes him to become insane to almost comical proportions, indiscriminately killing people and so distraught that at any point he's liable to self-destruct—all because he's constantly being rebuffed when seeking affection from his teacher, who thinks he wants to take him out for throwing him into hell. It's notable that any time Shen Qingqiu rejects him, Binghe lashes out in an almost stoic anger, rather than with the vulnerable crybaby tears that Binghe used as a kid. All this is highlighting the consequences of toxically masculine gender roles—where a severe lack of emotional vulnerability creates only violence and status as ways to express yourself, leading to severe emotional issues.
Now this is where it gets to the satirical aspects. Because all that before is pretty angsty and not very funny, but Scum Villain is a comedic satire. This is because it's not from the perspective of Luo Binghe—it's from the perspective of Shen Qingqiu.
The Point of Scum Villain's Meta
To all of this, Shen Qingqiu is totally oblivious, as he is still under the impression that everything was platonic. Which I'd argue he SHOULD be, considering that Binghe was a young student in his care that he was only trying to groom into being nice, person not into a sexual relationship 💀💀. Now, the ethics of fiction about raising your spouse is a whole other issue outside of the scope of this discussion, but within the universe of Scum Villain, where we know his intentions, he gets the pass from me!
The reason Shen Qingqiu is oblivious is because one, as the most terminally online hater on the Internet, he's read about stallion protagonist Luo Binghe way before transmigrating into the story. And the Luo Binghe of the original story was a miserable sack of shit who got an unhappy ending despite being the peak of what masculinity "should" be.
A harem of women to show his virility, a stoic facade, and a constant stream of face slapping for hundreds and hundreds of chapters. He's an alpha male to the point of farce because Airplane needed to appeal to the lowest common denominator of teen boys on the internet—Andrew Tate's main demographic. It's not just a satire of YY novels—this, too, is part of Scum Villain's critique of toxic masculinity.
The second reason Shen Qingqiu is oblivious is because he's homophobic, sexist, heteronormative, etc. etc. etc. He was an INTERNET TROLL for a reason. And while people like to joke that he was a feminist king on the forums, I feel like it's more in line with the themes of the story to take him reading this schlock at face value because it's part of Scum Villain's trap! Anytime you feel like complaining about Scum Villain's hack writing, you're one meat bun away from an uno reverse card. The instant you start complaining, the author can hit you with a "Cucumber-bro calm down," and BOOM you're done! Never comment again!
And this is so effective because none of us want to be an un-self-aware, terminally online, trash-reading hater like him.
So, the satire of the novel is taking this kind of guy—both the Andrew Tates of the world and his basement dwelling followers—and wondering "Would gay sex fix them?" And the answer is YES, WHICH is HYSTERICAL to play straight in a romance like this. It's "Fellas, is it gay to like women?" but make it into an actual romance.
On a thematic level, being gay is indeed antithetical to a masculinity that upholds having sex with tons of women as the ideal, so it's doubly poignant for this closeted gay man to realize that the only thing he needed to do to live was to accept himself and the people around him by giving up his need to fit them into boxes—both on a meta "they're not fictional characters to him anymore" level, but also on a "toxic masculinity shouldn't define us" level.
Climaxing
The old Shen Qingqiu is dead. Long live Shen Qingqiu. Gay sex to save the world. Luo Binghe is back to his crybaby self. All is well in the world.
One thing I love about this teacher/student romance that it portrays Bingqiu afterwards as really happy and in love. Logically, nothing about that makes sense — 45 year old stepfather marries 25 year old stepdaughter from a bad home who idolized him, even while he acts like he's embarrassed to be around her and encourages her helplessness—but it makes perfect sense because it's a perfect marriage between all these different layers.
The "bird leaving the nest" conflict
Qingqiu is allowed to be affectionate with a scary adult Binghe because Binghe can be both a clingy student and an adult
2. The scum villain/protagonist conflict
Binghe never wanted to kill Shen Qingqiu, only to be loved by him.
3. The comphet conflict
Binghe never intended to go out and get a harem of women as a sign of masculine status, he just wants to be gay with Shen Qingqiu.
4. The "should I treat them like real people or fictional characters" transmigrator conflict—
Binghe is a real person separate from the character of Luo Binghe because he's no longer that unattainable masculine ideal—he's human and happier for it.
All solved with a student/teacher relationship in service of critiquing toxic masculinity. Now that's economical writing!
(I love the inclusion of the original Luo Binghe meeting them in the Extras, and that Luo Binghe is pretty evenly matched with him. I feel like the idea that someone "is automatically stronger with the power of love, and therefore that's why love is better" is pretty shallow, as it plays into the toxically masculine idea that strength is all that matters. Luo Binghe may not be stronger than the toxically masculine ideal version of himself, but he doesn't feel the need to be because he's happy the way he is. And his ideal self is jealous of him for that—not vice versa.)
On their own, these resolutions would probably still feel as creepy as Lolicon, but in the context of critiquing masculinity, it makes a lot more sense. Masculinity, I think, fascinates as a writing tool because there's a lot of mini tools baked-in its structure, like Shen Qingqiu's comedic plausible deniability thing, as well as assumptions about power.
For instance, since Binghe is quite literally the God-emperor of his world, it feels more like a kink thing for him to call Qingqiu Shizun, and not like he's actually less powerful than Shizun in their dynamic. His bouts of learned helplessness come off as traditionally feminine Sajiao, NOT like the learned behavior of creepy pick-me pedophilia. It's like a cat showing its belly, because we all know it's a murder machine showing its vulnerable side out of trust, not because it feels the need to degrade itself. So, while his behavior emphasizes the Teacher/Student imbalance, the reality is that he's doing it mostly for kinky reasons and that the two of them are on a pretty level playing field. It's extremely funny when people joke that he and Qingqiu are the same age due to all that time Qingqiu spent dead, because they are Not Wrong.
Problematic Kinks
Romance fiction is usually about ways to get certain needs met in ways that would never be possible in real life, which is why a lot of it is problematic. Virginity kink is not about real life virgins, but the idea that your partner is guaranteed to think you're competent in bed. Bodice ripper stories do not reflect the reality of getting raped, but is more about the idea of getting sexually satisfied with none of the shame of "being slutty" for desiring sex, since it was "against your will." Or they're about controlling the fear of getting raped within this safe romantic fantasy where everything turns out all right. Or various other things because kinks are personal.
Shen Qingqiu is the perfect example of this, where he functions as a great insert for female readers who might have shame around sexuality, since he's a "prude" without actually being one, hence his parallel with Xiaolongnu. Instead, he's just comedically under the misconception that he's straight or that Binghe's only platonically in love with his teacher—that's why he's always ashamed and putting on airs. It's a comedic/unrealistic version of comphet, so you don't gotta think about purity culture while reading your silly little stories.
And Luo Binghe is the self-insert fantasy of readers with daddy issues. His strict father who criticized him all the time actually secretly thought he was the bestest-westest, most handsomest boy in the whole wide world, and there was a secret understandable reason he had to be mean to him, and he secretly loves when he acts like a crybaby because that just means an excuse to pamper him.
And while in real life, many of these would be incredibly dysfunctional—within fiction, we can make these fantasies work anyway. If your romance manages to hit at one of these underlying desires in a fantastical way, you've got a hit with one audience of people! Whether that be by making them EVEN MORE dysfunctional (papapa to save the world) or by having them somehow communicate it out into a healthy dynamic (the extras, presumably).
All this to say, if you're a man frustrated with your love life, all you need is a gay, milf-y male teacher to ruin your life.

I'm back!!!
I'm back!! I was literally in no spirits to write fanfics, but thinking about picking it back up again.
Really have been in a Honkai Star Rail brain rot lately (mostly about xianzhou men ^^), and many ideas just popped into my brain. So please read through all of it and tell me which one you think I should start first. And please repost or share it with others! Comments are important!! I know it's long, but just bear with me. It's vital for me (>.<)
Long Fics:
Jing Yuan x Reader
Trope: Childhood friends to lovers
Relationships: Jing Yuan x Reader, TBD
About: Based off of a Ming dynasty emperor who only loved one woman (his childhood friend) for his whole life.
Reader Gender: Female
Tags: Fluff, Angst, Hurt/comfort, Ancient China au, childhood friends to lovers, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, female! Reader, jing yuan x reader, hsr jing yuan, honkai star rail jing yuan, jing yuan x you

Dan Heng x Reader
Trope: Reincarnation
Relationship: Dan Heng x Reader, TBD
About: Loosely based off of the c-drama 三生三世 (it’s really just an ost that inspired me). Dan Heng loves reader for the longest time, but instead of him reincarnating, it’s reader. Basically, reader is mortal while Dan Heng is immortal and heavenly law states that immortals aren’t allowed to fall in love with mortals. Essentially Dan Heng breaks that rule many times and gets punished many times (i.e. heavenly prison, loss of status, etc). And what if reader becomes immortal one day?
Reader Gender: Neutral

Jing Yuan x Reader
Trope: Maiden and knight
Relationships: Jing Yuan x Reader, TBD
About: Another one based loosely off of c-drama (again, it’s the ost doing it for me). This time loosely based off of Love Like the Galaxy. Some characters may be more calculating than in the show. Only really thought of this cuz of Jing Yuan being a general.
Reader Gender: Neutral
Tags: Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, guzhuang, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, gn! Reader, jing yuan x reader, hsr jing yuan, honkai star rail jing yuan, jing yuan x you

Blade x Reader
Trope: Good x Evil
Relationships: Blade x Reader, TBD
About: Another another loosely inspired by the c-drama, Love Between Fairy and Devil. Though no, reader isn’t really gonna be an innocent dunce from the start. May display dumb, but not make it her personality. People around reader keep trying to tell them to stay away from the evil ones, but reader doesn’t really listen (cuz folks really don’t be telling them what the evil people look like) and ends up meeting the leader of said evil forces, Blade. Plot starts towards the beginning of the war between the good and evil.

Dan Heng x Reader
Trope: Can MDZS be a trope itself?
Relationships: Dan Heng x Reader, TBD
About: Inspired by MDZS/The Untamed. Although it won’t be danmei and will deviate with the fact it’s more chronological than having long periods of flashbacks (yes I’m looking at you Untamed, why tf did you spend so many episodes on flashbacks and then everything after just went by so quickly??? But that’s just my opinion -- anyways). Obviously not everything is going to be 100% accurate since this is a fanfic inspired by MDZS/The Untamed and Star Rail isn’t that.
Reader Gender: Neutral
Tags: Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, guzhuang, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, gn! Reader, gn! Reader, dan heng x reader, hsr dan heng, dan heng x you, suggestive, resurrection
♡ ꒰ ◞ ◟ ꒱⌒)ᦱ 𓈒 ૮₍ ´ . ˕ .` ₎ა 𓈒 ⊹ ໒ ꐦ `ヮ ´ ა
Blade x Reader
Trope: Princ(ess) and knight
Relationships: Blade x Reader, Dan Heng & Reader (platonic)
About: Blade is assigned to be the personal guard of lord/lady by none other than their brother, Dan Heng. The lord/lady only thought of Blade as a sword and shield, they never thought they’d ever fall for the man with many mysteries. Yet they know, that those who hold many mysteries are the ones most likely to betray and use. That was just the way of court life. However, a small part of them just hopes -- wishes that Blade would never betray or use them for ulterior motives.
Reader Gender: Neutral

Luocha x Reader
Trope: Immortal and mortal
Relationships: Luocha x Reader, Fu Xuan (just filling in the role of the monk)
About: Based off of the Legend of the White Snake. Deviation will occur. Reader doesn’t have a sister, and Luocha is an actual doctor not scholar. Reader will not be imprisoned in a pagoda (like is some shows/rendition of the story).
Reader Gender: Neutral
Tags: Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, guzhuang, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, gn! Reader, luocha x reader, hsr luocha, luocha x you, hsr luocha x you
One-Shots
Jing Yuan x Reader
About: Very loosely based off of Fuhao, the Shang dynasty warrior queen. Reader is is a priestess and a warrior, going off to fight battles and returning victorious until one day, she didn’t return. Stricken with grief, Jing Yuan prepares a burial and tomb for his beloved queen.
Reader Gender: Female
Tags: Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, guzhuang, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, gn! Reader, jing yuan x reader, hsr jing yuan, honkai star rail jing yuan, jing yuan x you,

Dan Heng x Reader
About: Dan Heng (Imbibitor Lunae) takes a stroll for a break. Then stumbles upon a unique looking figure: softly resting atop their hair were two long feathers of grey color. He had never seen someone like them before, so curiosity getting the best of him, he approaches them. Only for them to turn and look at him. That’s when he froze, both in embarrassment and in fear. Da peng, the only child of the phoenix to feast upon dragons. Da peng, the one who stands before him with a curious gaze.

MXTX's women part 2
Let's do ✨discourse™✨part 2
This is a follow up to this post where the only conclusions I came to were vibes based... mainly because my opinions here are generally vibes based (except svsss - I am pretty firm on my view of svsss, but that's a separate post). I think there are strong arguments either way, and tbh I have nothing against vibes based conclusions, but for fun, I'm going to take a position and argue for it.
disclaimer: 1) this post is not my opinion. 2) nonetheless, this post is entirely unironic. I think these are compelling arguments.
Position 1: MDZS and TGCF are sexist.
To recap, I posed (dramatically, in bold face) that the most important question to ask are: What is the intent? How is that intent received? This can be summed up as: What is the message you take away?
Obviously, you can fight me here, but I'll expand. Firstly, the question doesn't fundamentally come down to what the work contains, even though this is important. Every statement on the lines of 'x is sexist because it contains y' has a counterexample. Is the Handmaid's Tale sexist because it contains men in power and women treated as objects? Well op, this is a dumb example, you might say, and you would be right. The message of the Handmaid's Tale is clearly different from, say, MDZS and everything it contains is a support of that message - that a woman's reproductive freedom is her right. And I would go, ah ha, yes. Intent. (You can still disagree with me lol. This came out of a conversation literally a week ago.)
But also note, the author's actual intent is secondary. It's a useful framing to understand what the message is, but due to e.g. unconscious bias, or internalised sexism, the message gained by the reader/audience can be entirely independent of the intent of the author. For example, (one of my all time favourite c-dramas) the Secret of the Three Kingdoms I think is trying to be empowering for women, has lots of cool female characters, but the ultimate message can be summarised as 'men plough, women weave'... which is :/
Another subtlety to point out is that trends and popular tropes/archetypes tell a very different story when looked at overall. 'Woman in the refrigerator' and 'bury your gays' isn't a problem about individual works (although it often is mixed into other problems), but it's prevalence and dominance spreads harmful messages. A work which is great on it's own can actually be contributing to a wider problem, thus making it a problem.
MDZS: Women as accessory
It's not that difficult to argue that MDZS has an exceptional cast of women. I have no intention of arguing that MDZS's women aren't well developed, because enough people have come up with compelling counterarguments and they aren't hard to find. I think MDZS's portrayal of sexism is both exceptionally nuanced and not something you see much of. I love the way MDZS uses and breaks down tropes. I would argue (have argued) that the way MXTX puts sexism into her works is (at least partly) very much deliberate, and not with the intent of being sexist.
But remember, death of the author: author's original intentions don't matter in the face of what can be read from the text.
Notable in MDZS is 1) the lack of female characters who aren't defined by their relation to a major male character 2) women in the refrigerator.
1) Jiang Yanli is Wei Wuxian's older sister. Yu Ziyuan is Wei Wuxian's adopted mother. Wang Lingjiao is Wen Chao's girlfriend. Madam Jin, Meng Shi, Qin Su. Now, there are notable exceptions. Wen Qing is Wen Ning's sister, but her character is substantial even without that. Luo Qingyang (mianmian). Sisi (arguably). But there are overwhelmingly more male characters, and perhaps more importantly, hardly any male characters defined by their relation to a female character. There are a few. Madam Mo and her husband. Jin Zixuan as Jiang Yanli's husband (arguably). This isn't an exhaustive list but you get the idea.
2) Well, firstly, most of them die. Yu Ziyuan ends up in an unhappy marriage and dies as her sect burns down. Jiang Yanli loses a husband and then sacrifices herself for her brother. Wang Lingjiao gets offed by Wei Wuxian. Qin Su is killed by her husband. Mo Xuanyu's mother and Madam Jin just die of 'heartbreak' for what? Plot convenience? More egregiously, all of these deaths are there to either a) plot reasons or b) to add to the development of a male character. This is precisely the 'women in the refrigerator' trope, but multiplied a million times.
The only female character who got her happy ending was Mianmian... who lives a simple life with her family in the middle of nowhere. And it's great that in being brave and pursuing the right thing, she found happiness for herself, but this being the only example is um...
Well, the message feels suspiciously like women exist only for men. Men are the protagonists of their stories. Women are accessories. Sounds pretty sus. Maybe this is all due to the sexism of the world, but the message is then that the only way for women to succeed is to leave the system altogether, which is a nuanced thing but not true and somewhat unhelpful as a message.
Now, arguably, MXTX is leaning into tropes in order to be critical of them. Her female characters are full of tropes, and subversions of tropes - they could act as a critique of female characters in BL (in the way the female characters in SVSSS are critique of female characters in harem). There are a few pointers to this - Mianmian standing up to sexism, or the depth and nuance of Yu Ziyuan finding power+influence through her marriage of Jiang Fengmian. But the point stands is that isn't the message most people take away, because of the way MDZS is framed. MDZS just works as a xianxia action/romance. It isn't a parody (or at least, you don't need to read it as one to follow it). It isn't explicitly critical of how the women end up, nor is the narrative centered around the experiences of women. It is very easy to take away the surface level messages, which I think many people end up doing.
Whatever MXTX intended to say with her female characters, arguably MDZS already adds to an existing problem in how media portrays women. Media plays a huge role in how we see ourselves and other people, and unideal representation of women can lead to unconscious biases and stereotypes which are harmful. This being the case, one could argue that any media that fails to either fix the issue or address the issue sufficiently is problematic. On this vein, MDZS falls short.
TGCF: women as secondary
While TGCF improves on the front of women in power doing well, and more explicitly calling out the sexism of the world, it fails at a different front: the lack of women within the core plot.
The structure of TGCF is very different to MDZS, in that it contains a lot of what I would call 'side quests'. This is not a bad thing (this is sort of the whole point of things like (old) Star Trek or Doctor Who). But the core story of TGCF is (arguably) 1) Xie Lian's two ascensions and in between 2) Meeting Hua Cheng at various points 3) Tonglu mountain. And within this core story, there isn't a single female character necessary for the plot.
Ling Wen, Xuan Ji, Banyue, Shi Qingxuan, Yushi Huang... are all exceptional female (and non-binary) characters in their own right, but the story doesn't require them. They could be swapped out quite easily with other characters, unlike e.g. main pair, Feng Xin, Mu Qing, Jun Wu... (Note this isn't about how often they appear, or how developed they are. Lang Ying (the old one) doesn't appear a lot, but is essential to the plot.) (Yushi Huang and Ling Wen are kind of required, but equally for like... quest and item giving purposes which is not really the same.)
It's almost like there is no female person in Xie Lian's life who is essential to his personhood. And the message might inadvertently be that women are part of side quests - they aren't necessary.
This is, in part, a Xie Lian problem. The narration is tied closely to Xie Lian's pov (but isn't third person limited, interestingly), and we get delights like this:
Aside from the fact that Xuan Ji went mad whenever she ran into Pei Ming, she was otherwise much more detail-oriented and cautious than Qi Rong - she was a woman, after all.
(btw, be exceptionally suspicious of statements like 'women are more detail-oriented and cautious'. They are often wrong, or with heavy caveats.)
This is not on it's own a bad thing - e.g. compare with Shen Qingqiu's narration in SVSSS. But it is arguably a bad thing if you pair it with the fact that Xie Lian is 1) presented as much more likable than Shen Qingqiu 2) is not as obviously bias. He comes across as a trustable character, and so we are less likely to question his biases... so we run into the same problem as in MDZS: we aren't led to question the surface level messages, so the message we take away is an unhelpful one.
I feel like the way around this is (somewhat paradoxically) to reintroduce female characters whose lives (from narrator pov) revolve around the protagonist. (e.g. get in an Jiang Yanli) (The 800 year time skip means they either need to 1) become gods, 2) become ghosts 3) die, all of which have their own potential problems but that's for the author to figure out :p) Making Xie Lian less sexist would be slightly unrealistic but not at all out of character. Having Xie Lian's biases explicitly called out and this be a big thing is another way to go. Or both.
To conclude
Both points fall down to something along these lines: although both MDZS and TGCF make attempts at commentary on the struggles of women, because this narrative is not at the forefront of the story they inadvertently give across only half the message, which is worse than no message at all. 'There are tropes within the genre which treat women badly and this is bad' becomes 'women are like what these tropes say they are like'. 'Women aren't given opportunities so end up worse off' becomes 'women end up worse off'.
Maybe something in between MDZS to TGCF would be an improvement, but also, if the focus on male characters meant these narratives were difficult to execute within a reasonable word count, it might have been better to just skip sexism altogether. (sci fi is usually where this is attempted seriously, but fantasy definitely has scope for imagining better societies.) (This is all much easier said than done btw. Part of a fan's job is to stand on the sidelines and complain, right? 😂)

Requests (Open)
Hello! Welcome to the request board! Finally made one! Anyways I’ll do character x character and x reader stories! Let me know a specific plot wether it’s long or short, even if it’s just like “Character gets jealous” or something like that is fine.
Below are my rules/my do’s and don’t’s.
Do's:
-I write NSFW but full version is posted on my A03
-For many Animes, games like Genshin Impact, and a few more listed below
-I'll take personal requests/comfort requests! As a trans male and someone with issues beyond that I know sometimes you just need some comfort from your favorite character(s)!
-I take more than just X reader requests! So look out for my posts that say I'II do character × character!
(P.S. Im a multi-shipper so I will ship some character with others, but I will only do the ships I personally like or are ok with writing, even if I don't ship it!)
-I will take platonic requests! But I'll have specific posts for that!
-I do art, so I may make a few doodles here and there but I might make art for requests!
Don'ts:
-I personally don't do yandere unless it's literally the characters personality due to me not being able to write it well- or even for long. I just find it difficult(but this may change in the future!)
-angst only, cause I will cry while making it and honestly don't feel like torturing myself or characters
-Female readers and nsfw for female characters.(Personal reasons)
Now then, what I’ll write for:
-Trigun
-Trigun Stampede
-One Piece
-Dragon Ball
-Pokémon
-Bungo Stray Dogs

ok I'm going to feed you a thought that's been keeping me up at night lately. The brat jiang cheng being punished by having his dick beaten after being caught masturbating while the reader was away (traveling? on business?), but then he is caught red-handed and punished for thinking he could trick us behind our backs. (I know you love him and want to make him whimper and beg like I do)
OMFGGGGGG i love you anon! <333 this is so yummyyyy
ෆ ִ ׁ sub jiang cheng
cw; dom reader, impact play, begging, little of humillation
jiang cheng had a terrible temper, always assertive, with anger issues and was a real jerk when he wanted to be.
but when it came to you he became the easiest and dirtiest brat you could imagine. he was always looking around for your attention, for you to grope him and make him whine.
he would whine about being number one to you in everything.
so it didn't surprise you at all to see him in his room while he masturbated like a desperate boy. he didn't seem to hide it because he thought you weren't home. and the idiot was disobeying you.
You had made it clear to him that no touching until you came home. it wasn't that hard and it was only a couple of weeks away.
"ummnh, (name), i wish you were here." you heard the man whine.
you cleared your throat and leaned back against the door frame. jiang cheng was so overcome with excitement that he hadn't noticed your presence.
when he heard you he gave a little jump and his eyes fell on you. you saw him open his mouth and whimper for ruining his orgasm. the man was completely stiff, even a little, scared?
"(n.. name), let me…"
"shut your mouth whore, what do you do when i'm not at home. did you forget what we talked about, dear?"
you slowly approached until you were close to your boy. his face was flushed, his forehead and neck damp with sweat. his clothes were torn and wrinkled as his cock stood up in the middle of his outfit.
you slowly stroked his hair, releasing it from its bun which was also a mess.
you really liked jiang cheng with his hair down.
" get down on your knees, my love." you said as you grabbed his hair tightly and threw it at your feet.
jiang cheng looked at you with pleading and teary eyes. the whole situation was difficult for him. his cock was crying, he felt ashamed and was a little afraid of what you would do to him. but that didn't stop his cock from throbbing.
you smiled mischievously and with your foot began to massage the weeping tip of your beloved.
you saw jiang bite his lips and close his eyes in a form of pure satisfaction. so dirty.
you felt the sliminess of his cock wet your foot. and this helped it slide easier all over his tip.
"what's the matter, i didn't let you cum and now you're mad at me, love?"
jiang cheng looked at you serious and through gritted teeth. his hair was streaming down his face and made him look so miserable. that's how you liked to have him.
after you were gently massaging his member without warning you slapped his cock, making it bounce.
"aaaah! fuck!"
you moved your hand down to his neck and squeezed it. "no bad words jiang cheng, this is only your fault. don't make me stop fucking you for a whole month."
the man shook his head repeatedly while you were still holding him, tears were starting to flow down from his eyes and his skin was turning red.
still holding him by the neck, you began to kiss him. feeling your boy's tongue slip into your mouth with anticipation. his lips devouring yours. with too much desperation.
while you had him like that, you took the momentum and kicked him in his balls.
"mmnhg, haaaa! (name), stop, stop, i' ll be good… i promise, i won't notdo it again…"
jiang cheng was writhing in pain and pleasure. that kick had made him liquidize pre- cum. his cock was red and so hard, just like his balls.
his whimpering and begging made you so horny. you couldn't get used to this.
you looked at his face wracked with tears and pleasure. god he was so dirty. you wanted to fuck him right there.
"i'll only stop teasing you until i want to, my love. now shut that little mouth of yours and only open it to whimper, okay?"
jiang cheng's lips were trembling. "yes, yes (name)!

Unspoken Bonds Part 5 *NSFW
GIF by jay070490 on tenor
Lan Wangji's longing for y/n burned like a fervent flame, a molten intensity that seemed to transcend the very boundaries of their beings. The air around them was charged with a palpable electricity, an unspoken promise of the passions about to unfold.
As their lips met in a passionate collision, it was as if time itself held its breath, allowing their souls to entwine in a dance of heated fervor. Y/n's response was nothing short of exquisite; her heart's rhythm synchronized with his, an unspoken symphony of desire echoing in the chambers of their chests.
Their connection deepened as she found herself instinctively drawn to his lap, a throne of desire where she perched with a grace that mirrored her essence. The subtle friction of their bodies meeting sent shivers down their spines, a delicious reminder of the decadent journey they were embarking upon.
Yet, with every stolen kiss, the hunger within Lan Wangji's gaze grew, an insatiable appetite that mirrored his fervent heart. Each press of their lips was a confession, a silent proclamation of a love so intense that it defied conventional boundaries. The taste of her, the sensation of her breath mingling with his, fueled a wildfire within him that threatened to consume every fiber of his being.
It was as though he had tapped into a wellspring of desire, his once-controlled restraint giving way to an intoxicating greed. The layers of y/n's hanfu became the embodiment of his yearning, a metaphorical barrier that begged to be stripped away. With a mixture of urgency and reverence, his fingers sought the hidden clasps and ties, unveiling her form layer by layer.
The unveiling was a ritualistic unveiling of not just clothing, but of inhibitions, of doubts, of fears. Each piece that fell away was a testament to their shared vulnerability, a surrender to the emotions that had been building between them. The silk and satin cascaded to the floor, leaving her bared to his adoring gaze, a masterpiece of curves and contours that he had longed to explore.
As the last layer of fabric surrendered its hold, their connection became an unbreakable thread, woven from the strands of their souls. Their gaze locked, and in that shared moment, there was no room for shame or hesitation. Only the raw, unadulterated truth of their desires, a truth that beckoned them closer, binding them in a dance of fervent love and insatiable lust.
With a hunger that resonated deep within his core, he leaned in, his lips brushing against her delicate skin, igniting a trail of fire that coursed through her veins. His touch was a symphony of sensations, each note played upon the canvas of her being. Tenderly, he lowered his gaze, his eyes locking onto her bosom, a shrine of her femininity that beckoned to be worshiped.
He planted kisses like delicate blossoms upon her breasts, his lips bestowing a devotion that knew no bounds. His mouth explored every contour, every rise and fall, as if seeking to etch her essence into his very memory. Her breath quickened, a melody of desire escaping her lips, a sweet chorus of pleasure and longing.
"Wangji," her voice trembled, a melodic plea that hung in the air, woven with vulnerability and anticipation. "It's not fair," she whispered, her voice a soft caress, "I stand bare before you while you remain adorned in yours."
A commanding gentleness lingered in his gaze, his eyes ablaze with a possessive ardor that bespoke his longing. "No," he asserted, his voice a resonant echo of dominance, "You are mine."
As if guided by an irresistible force, his ardency deepened, his fervor leaving behind an indelible mark. His lips, now on a passionate quest, journeyed southward, bestowing fervent kisses that ignited flames of pleasure. With a deliberate hunger, he tasted her skin, teeth grazing against the peaks of her desires, leaving imprints of his ardor in their wake.
A symphony of sensations enveloped her as he ventured further, his lips descending like raindrops on parched earth. Her neck, that slender bridge between body and soul, became a canvas for his fervent artistry. His tongue danced upon her skin, tracing intricate patterns that spiraled into a crescendo of ecstasy, each movement a testament to his unquenchable yearning.
"Say it," his voice was a whisper, an enchanting spell woven into the fabric of their shared passion.
A quiver of pleasure escaped her lips, a harmonious response to the crescendo of sensations that his touch elicited. "I'm yours," she moaned, the words a surrender to the tidal wave of pleasure that engulfed her, an admission of her heart's deepest longing.
Embraced within the cocoon of their desire, he cradled her in his arms, their connection transcending the boundaries of the physical. The bed received their fervent devotion. With a deliberate tenderness, he bound her wrists together.
Blindfolded with the ribbon that adorned his forehead, she surrendered herself to him, her vulnerability a testament to the trust that flowed between them. Stripped of physical coverings, she stood bared not only in body but also in the profound vulnerability of her heart, a canvas upon which he painted his love. Wangji," she murmured, a soft pout gracing her lips as her doe-like eyes were veiled beneath the silk embrace of a forehead ribbon. A ribbon that concealed her vision yet unveiled the deepest recesses of her yearning heart.
A flicker of something in his gaze, a smoldering ember of want, stirred as he corrected her, voice low and commanding, "Address me as Hanguang-jun." The words dripped from his lips with a potency that resonated through the room, a command as much as a declaration of his dominance. His hand moved with purpose, tightening the ribbon gently but firmly, ensuring that her sight remained shrouded, her sense of sight relinquished to the whims of the unknown.
Yet, his gaze lingered upon her form, tracing the contours of her body with a fervor that bespoke of an unquenchable thirst. The layers of his hanfu, once a symbol of restraint, now transformed into tools of seduction, fell away like the petals of a forbidden flower. Each fold revealed a glimpse of his taut, sculpted physique, each bared inch a declaration of his intent to unravel not just her clothing but her very inhibitions.
Their hunger for each other was palpable, an electric current that surged through the air, leaving no space for inhibition. As he gazed into her eyes, a primal fire ignited, consuming every rational thought and kindling the flames of their most forbidden fantasies as she licked his cock.
The tug of her hair sent a shiver down her spine, a prelude to the intense sensation that was to follow. Her breath hitched as a mixture of anticipation and excitement swirled within her, a storm of emotions that mirrored the tempestuous passion building between them.
As the crescendo of their fervent embrace approached its zenith, he surrendered to the intoxicating tide that surged within him. A guttural moan escaped his lips, a testament to the building storm of ecstasy that could no longer be contained. With a primal urgency, he released the essence of his desire, a molten offering that spilled forth and cascaded into her waiting mouth.
Her lips enclosed him in a fervent embrace, a willing vessel for his ardor. The taste of him was a heady cocktail of passion and submission, a sensation that seared itself into her senses and left her craving more. The flicker of hesitation was swiftly consumed by the flames of her own burgeoning appetite, and she drank him in with an eagerness that mirrored his own unrestrained yearning.
His gaze, heavy-lidded with a hunger that could not be denied, locked onto her. It was a gaze that stripped away all pretense, baring the raw intensity of his desire for her. As her struggle to accommodate the intensity of his offering became evident, a surge of possessive pleasure coursed through him, igniting the smoldering embers of dominance that lay just beneath the surface.
She quivered, a mix of sensations coursing through her as she battled to fully embrace the potent intimacy of their connection. "Too much!" she managed to gasp, the words a mixture of surrender and defiance. The vulnerability in her voice only served to stoke the fires of his lust, reaffirming his grasp on the reins of their shared passion.
A sly smile tugged at the corners of his lips, a hint of wicked amusement dancing in his eyes. "You can keep going," he murmured, his voice a velvet caress that held a command she couldn't resist. With a mix of anticipation and trepidation, she felt his firm hand against her head, a directive that propelled her to take him deeper once more.
With a controlled release, Lan Wangji relinquished his grip on her head, a silent signal of the transition from one layer of their connection to another. As his fingers tenderly guided her hands to encircle his neck, they embarked on a journey of shared intensity that would etch its memory into their very souls.
Her touch, tentative yet determined, conveyed a yearning that mirrored his own. With a surge of fervor, he surged forward, allowing the entirety of his arousal to claim her with a force that bordered on the primal. The initial sensation of his entry was an electric shock that rippled through her, setting her nerves ablaze and erasing the line between pleasure and aching need.
The rhythm they established of desire, a primal cadence that echoed the tempo of their racing hearts. His thrusts were a potent blend of dominance and intimacy, each movement a declaration of his ownership of the moment, of her very being. The sensation of him pushing in and out, a carnal ebb and flow, was intoxicating, a visceral reminder of the depths to which they were willing to descend in their pursuit of the ultimate ecstasy.
With every powerful thrust, her body responded in kind, a dance of submission and voracious craving that left her senses reeling. Her eyes fluttered and then rolled back, a visual testament to the waves of sensation that coursed through her, leaving her breathless and teetering on the precipice of something sublime. Beads of sweat traced erratic paths down her forehead, glistening like precious jewels in the ambient light, a testament to the fervor that consumed them both.
A moan, deep and fervent, spilled from her lips, the syllables a mixture of plea and surrender. "Please," she gasped, her voice laden with a desperate need that held an unspoken promise of release. The sheer vulnerability of her plea was met with a sly chuckle, his voice a dark velvet that cut through the air like a dagger of desire. "Use your words," he goaded.
The plea for release hung in the air like an unspoken promise, a crescendo of need that defied the constraints of language. And in response to her fervent appeal, he leaned in, his lips brushing against her tear-stained cheeks. The taste of her salty tears was mingled with the taste of their shared desire, a heady cocktail that threatened to unravel them both. "Together," he murmured, his words a whispered command that ignited a surge of anticipation within her.
As their bodies moved in a synchronized rhythm, the culmination of their fervor loomed on the horizon, a climax that held the promise of release and fulfillment.
"No more," y/n whimpered, her plea laced with desire and urgency, her body quivering from the lingering waves of climax that had just washed over her.
As his eyes met hers, smoldering with a mixture of tenderness and hunger, he leaned in with deliberate intent. His body pressed against hers, his hardness finding its way back to her warmth. The moment their flesh met, an electric jolt of anticipation coursed through her, igniting embers that had never truly extinguished. She was a willing captive in his embrace, yearning for more of the exquisite agony and pleasure he so expertly bestowed upon her.
With a commanding yet achingly tender hold, Lan Wangji guided her movements, their bodies were in a synchronized rhythm of desire. He claimed her lips in a kiss that was as fierce as it was intoxicating. His lips moved against hers with a controlled urgency, and his tongue danced with hers, igniting a fire that seemed to burn from deep within her core.
Her gasp was swallowed by the voracious kiss, and in the midst of their passion, his lips traced a fiery path down her neck, leaving a trail of bites and nips that marked her as his. The mixture of pleasure and pain was an intoxicating elixir, heightening every sensation and melding their souls together in a way that was both primal and profound.
With each rhythmic thrust, the ache between her legs intensified, the boundaries between agony and ecstasy blurred into an exquisite fusion. Lan Wangji's skilled hands roamed her body, igniting every nerve ending with their possessive touch. He was her tormentor and her savior, the architect of her deepest desires and the sculptor of her most intense pleasure.
As their bodies moved in unison, a symphony of moans and gasps painted the air, a testament to the passion that bound them. In this timeless moment, y/n existed solely in the realm of sensation, her senses overwhelmed by the symphony of touch, taste, scent, and sound that enveloped her.
Their bodies glistening with the aftermath of their shared passions, y/n and Lan Wangji found solace in each other's arms, their bare forms pressed close in an intimate embrace. The air was thick with the heady scent of their desires, a tangible reminder of the boundaries they had crossed.
As the hushed moments passed, y/n's voice emerged, a delicate murmur that cut through the lingering traces of their shared ardor. "A-zhan," she breathed, her tone a mixture of wonder and uncertainty, "Do you realize the path you chose? Is it not forbidden for a master and servant to share such a connection, to be so intimately intertwined, especially between a maid like myself and a person of your status?"
Lan Wangji, his gaze soft yet resolute, responded with a gesture that transcended words. His hand reached out, gentle fingers entwining with hers, guiding her touch to the silken ribbon that adorned his forehead. It was a symbol of him choosing her as his wife.
As her fingers brushed against the fabric, a silent message passed between them, a declaration that defied societal norms and echoed with the depth of his emotions. He was claiming her as more than just a servant, more than just a passing desire. He was acknowledging her as a cherished part of his world, a connection that went beyond the constraints of their roles.
Tears welled in y/n's eyes, shimmering with a mixture of emotions too profound to contain. His lips, tender and compassionate, brushed against her cheeks, tasting the salt of her unshed tears. Each kiss was a soothing balm, a promise that he would wipe away not only her tears but also any doubts that clouded her heart.
With delicate reverence, his lips trailed a path from her cheeks to her neck, a journey that resonated with both tenderness and fervor. The sensations rippled through her, awakening the embers of desire that lay dormant within her once again. The space they occupied became a sanctuary of shared longing, where every touch, every sigh, was a testament to their unspoken bond.
In the hours of their clandestine love, y/n and Lan Wangji surrendered to their yearning once more, a union that defied societal norms but resonated with a resonance that was undeniably real. The world beyond their cocoon of intimacy faded away, leaving only their shared desires, their whispered promises, and the intoxicating rhythm of their intertwined souls.

Burst into Blossom - 1
Characters: Original Female Lead, MDZS cast
Word Count: 2.5k
Warnings: This series will have some heavy content, depending on the audience. These elements are littered throughout so I can not give you a descriptive list. If you don’t want to take the risk then I advise you not to read it. Thank you.
In a rash moment of her youth, Li Zhaoyun committed a terrible mistake that not even ten thousand reincarnations can fix. As a result, she was able to learn how tall the heavens and earth are as well as how many dangers there are in a lifetime.
The night is a period that always gives one a gloomy, ghastly feeling, making people unable to fully cherish its endless beauty. However, it is not the darkness that covers every organism under its black layers that makes people naturally avoid it but whatever happens behind the thick layer of fog.
On a certain night, countless footsteps rashly echoed into the chilly night sky, leaving swish swashing sounds behind in the dangerous bamboo forest. After hearing it, a woman hastily emerged from the bamboo grove, one hand holding a branch drenched in blood, the other, holding on to a small child.
This person’s expression was as white as snow, sweat drenching her entire body. Her raggy inner clothes were drenched in a sight of red blossoms, making her look exactly like a female demon who enjoys harming others. Just from the intense smell of blood and the form as rigid as ice is enough for people to acknowledge that their wounds are not light.
The child within her hold, hugs her sleeves tightly, “Niang*.”
*Niang (娘) - mother*
When the woman heard the calls of the child, she gently stroked her head, comforting her, “ Do not be afraid, niang is here.”
When the child heard this, the yatou* immediately shakes her head, hands tightening her hold of the sleeve, “ I am not scared. Is niang alright?”
*Yatou (丫头) - girl, can be use as a term of endearment or insult*
“ I am fine, we’re almost there, try to hold out for a bit more.”
The little yatou nods her head, arms wrapped tightly around the women’s neck. Her eyes stared intensely at the back like someone was going to jump out from the groves.
Even though the little yatou looked a bit pitiful, no one can dare lie about the perceptiveness of her eyes, a worldly contrast to her current appearance. With just a light glance, it is enough to know that she is not of a common background. To summarize, her eyes are like a tiger's, no prey would dare to act under nose unless they want to bring danger to their home.
Suddenly, another person came out of the grove. This time, it was of the appearance of an older man, dressed not as proper as the others but the clothes were still of lavish materials, hinting that he is from a large clan. Even if he is from such a clan, just by looking at the situation, one would understand his own nature.
Before the woman can react, an arrow shoots through the air towards her, hitting the woman's back. Having just witnessed that, the small child screamed out but got blocked by her niang’s hand over her mouth. The little child’s hands were covered in blood, clothes turning a dark crimson.
“ Where do you want to go, beauty? I have yet to be finished with you, even if you grow wings, you will never escape from me!”
The woman looked at the old man’s face, unable to resist a teasing smile from appearing on her lips, spitting out a disdainful comment. “ Yang Zhucheng, I can not believe you can lower yourself to this extent.”
When the old man heard the scornful comment, his facial expression darken. He originally wanted to bring the woman back to become his consort but changed his mind after the insult. “ Unruly woman! Let laozun* educate you in the stead of your zhangfu*!”
*Laozun (老尊) - old honorable, a term to address oneself in place of I*
*Zhangfu (丈夫) - husband*
Hearing his unbelievable words, the woman glared at him, “ Educate me? You have the capability?”
Taking in the woman’s words, Yang Zhucheng stroked his beard as he replied, “ Why do I not have any capability? What does your clan have that is worthy of the people’s worship? Maybe from following the demonic ways!”
Initially, the woman’s face was snow whitebut after hearing his words, her expression farken several tones. “ Stop talking! You do not have the right to speak ill of my clan!”
“ At least, Zhongjian Yangshi can return to the right path unl–”
Before the old man could finish, the woman was quick to interrupt him, “ Yang Zhucheng, you shameless person!”
“ Clearly a noble woman of great lineage, who’s fame reaches the end of the sky but does not know any better. You see, such a person should die with a non-intact body!”
Hearing those words from the old men, the yatou peaked up from behind her niang, pointing her finger towards him. “ You!”
The old man raises his eyebrows at the yatou’s yelling. His eyes brightened up with disgusting interest as he thought of a way to convince the beauty.
The old man approached them, staring intently at the child as a smile appear on his lips. In a blink, the distance between them shortened immensely. “ Or… I capture your child, command people to spread rumors about how Da Xiaojie* of Honglin Lishi has already followed the demonic ways to strengthen the reputation of her clan despite her young age. And after having enough fun and decided to run away. I’m afraid that this lifetime, the cold will not live peacefully!”
*Da Xiaojie (大小姐) - eldest lady*
As she heard that, the furen* bit her lips enough to draw blood. She hugged the child closer to her body, trying to cover the existence of the child away from the old man. “ Even a child can’t escape from you! You are dressed like an animal*”
*Furen (夫人) - term of address to a married woman*
*Dressed like an animal (衣冠禽兽) - an idiom, describing an immoral and despicable person.*
The child cowered in fear within her niang’s holds, shivering in fear. Her eyes brimmed with liquid yet to fall. “ Niang.”
Suddenly, the woman’s arms relax, no longer holding the child. Li furen stands up while looking at his sickening appearance. “ Li An, run.”
The child shakes her head, hugging her niang’s thigh. “ I’m not going. I’m not going.”
Yang Zhucheng smiles, “ Stupid yatou.”
Li furen pushed Li An away with all her might, eyes glaring at her, wanting her to follow her wishes. “ Gun*”
*Gun (滚) - Get lost, in a rude manner*
Hearing that, Li An can only look up at her, shakingly bringing herself to stand up.
“ Beauty, what do you want to do?”
Seeing the child standing up, Li furen turned back to face Zhu Yangcheng. “ If you want to bring me back, then die with me!” Li furen immediately rushed towards him.
Yang Zhucheng quickly stepped back to dodge, almost getting hit by the branch. After that, he aimed a punch at the bloody wound.
Li An panicked, letting out a scream, “ Niang!”
“ Why are you still here? Gun!”
The old man let out a long sigh, “ Unexpectedly, the infamous Li furen has this kind of ending.” He bent down, fingers petting Li furen’s jade-like face slowly moving towards her smooth black hair. Before he can go elsewhere, something hard yet round hit his head. “ Despicable yatou! Wait for me, beauty. Once I finish dealing with that yatou, I will come back for you.”
Upon hearing that, Li An panicked, body shaking to the extent of dropping the rock. She falls down to the ground miserably as her legs can no longer support her weight. “ Don’t come over here! Don’t come over! Don’t come over!”
Li furen shakingly extend out her hand, “ An…er*.”
*Er (儿) - by adding er behind the name, it becomes a term of endearment, especially for parents to call their kids*
Li An, at the moment, still could not stand up, eyes intensely staring at the possessed-like smile of Yang Zhucheng. “ Don’t come here! I said, don’t come here!”
Yang Zhucheng continues to approach her, lips curling into a horrendous smile, “ I want to see how capable the Da Xiaojie of Honglin Lishi is!”
“ Don’t come over! Don’t come over! AHhh!”
At that point, Li Zhaoyun’s eyes sprung open, body jumping out of bed. She immediately placed her hand over her chest, feeling her heartbeat. Once she had found it, she let out a long exhale before wiping the sweat on her forehead off. Although her entire body is sweating profusely, Li Zhaoyun felt as cold as ice.”
“ Another dream.”
From the age of six, Li Zhaoyun has been dreaming the same exact nightmare of an event she cannot remember. Just as she opens her eyes, her consciousness returning to reality, it was as if she did not just went through a night of being paralized in bed, unable to escape the illusion. Her memory of the nightmare would be forgotten, making her unable to remember anything. Even years later, she was still unable to remember what had happened.
Li Zhaoyun shakily pushed herself out of bed, legs barely able to support her body. Looking around her round, she realized that it was still dark, only being illuminated by a single candle, creating a hazy light. “It’s still choushi*.”
*Choushi (丑时) - two hours period between 1AM and 3 AM*
After changing her robes, Li Zhaoyun reached over the table to grab a long yet slim white fabric with spider lilies, the motif of Honglin Lishi sewn on them and tie it around her hair tightly. After putting on another layer, Li Zhaoyun step out of her room towards Huaji Tai.
Huaji Tai is the place for all of Honglin Lishi’s disciples to cultivate their sword play. Huaji talks about the use of youthful times to focus on cultivation, and not worry about the mortal world. Tai talks about the sword-fights between disciples to increase one’s potential.
Standing in front of the gate, Li Zhaoyun glanced at the sign and smiled. Although it is still dark, Huaji Tai has always calmly welcomed her.
Huaji Tai remains unchangeable four seasons, tirelessly watching over Honglin and Luohua Fort. Truly the only place that survived after the Yi Xian Battle.
She quietly stopped up the familiar steps and directly entered Huaji Tai.
A few years have passed yet this place remains the same.
Suddenly, Li Zhaoyun stopped in her tracks, looking at her surroundings.
Strange, why did I sense a commotion?
However, before Li Zhaoyun can lift up her feet, a servant has come in front of her. “ Li xiaojie, Li Zongzhu* wants to meet you.”
*Zongzhu (宗主) - head of clan*
Hearing that, Li Zhaoyun glanced at her, “ Gumu* wants to meet me?”
*Gumu (姑母) - father’s married sister*
“ Yes.”
“ Why is gumu calling me at this time?”
She continues to stare at the little yatou, making her entire body shiver. “ Nubi* don’t know.”
*Nubi (女婢) - maidservants or female slaves, can be use as a term of address instead of “I” when talking to a person of higher authority*
Li Zhaoyun closes her eyes before opening them, letting out a sigh. “ Good*, wait a bit for me.”
*Hao (好) - Good/ Fine/Alright, can be answered with a similar meaning to Yes, accepting the proposal*
*******
Upon another mountain, a game of go has been abandoned. The pieces, half has already been carefully positioned on the board while the rest has yet to appear, swayed along with the wind. Sitting on each side are two middle aged people who were intently staring at the board. The one who holds the white pieces is a woman, with jade-like skin, hair as dark as the night yet still made people admire her upon hearing her name. She wore a crimson robe.
“ Li Zongzhu, Da Xiaojie is waiting outside.”
Li Yanxia looked at the door and nodded, “ Let her come in.”
“ Yes,” the servant answered before quickly leaving the room.
“ These past two years have gone by in a blink of an eye. Guanyu, how do you think Yun-er is doing?” Li Yanxia looks at the person who’s facing towards the valley, looking at the scenery of Honglin.
“ I am not sure.”
“ Yun-er is the one and only daughter of you, Li Guanyu. How do you not know how she is doing?”
Before he can talk back, the servant reenters. “ Li Zongzhu, Li Da Xiaojie have arrived.”
“ Go.”
“ Yes.”
Before coming here, Li Zhaoyun returned to her room to change into a more proper robe. She stepped into the room before making a bow. “ Li An greets gumu, fuqin*”
*Fuqin (父亲) - father*
Li Yanxia smiled, coming to help her stand up. “ In the two years we haven’t met, Yun-er has matured.” Li Guanyu nods his head, slowly approaching Li Yanxia and Li Zhaoyun. “ Li An thank gumu,” Li Zhaoyun answered before looking in the direction of Li Guanyu. “ Li An greets fuqin.”
Like the last time, Li Guanyu did not answer.
Seeing that, Li Yanxia closed her eyes, letting out a long sigh. “ I won’t interfere with your own matters but today I have called the both of you about political matters, not reconnecting the both of you.”
Recognizing the tense atmosphere, Li Zhaoyun asked, “ Gumu, what have you called Li An today for?”
Back to the topic, Li Yanxia answered, “ Have you ever heard of Qinghe Nieshi?”
Li Zhaoyun furrows her eyebrow, Qinghe Nieshi? Why does this name sound familiar?
While thinking, she mindlessly asked. “ Gumu, are you talking about the central continent’s Qinghe Nieshi?”
Li Yanxia nods her head, “ Yes, the head of Qinghe Nieshi will be visiting Honglin.”
Visiting Honglin? Honglin Lishi, over the years, has not made any contact with those in the central continent so why is this happening?
“ The reason you have called Li An is also related to this matter?”
While Li Yanxia nodded her head, Li Guanyu glanced at her with an unreadable expression.
After hearing it, Li Zhaoyun can’t restrain herself, mindlessly standing there. What do you want Li An to do? “ Gumu, why do the people of Qinghe Nieshi want to come visit Honglin?”
Li Yanxia does not answer, suddenly glance over to look at Li Guanyu. Noticing something out of the ordinary, Li Zhaoyun continues to stare at the two seniors, trying to find any clues. “ Our Honglin Lishi has long not enter the political scene, especially of the central continent’s. However, currently… such a ch–”
Unable to finish, she flinched at Li Guanyu’s glance, putting her head down, not daring to continue speaking. Even though he is also wearing the crimson robes of Honglin Lishi, she feels coldness seeping to her core at his stare.
Seeing Li Zhaoyun’s change in posture, Li Yanxia could only shake her head and continue, “ Yun-er, do you still remember the reason why I let you leave?”
She immediately nods as Li Yanxia changes the topic, “ Yes. Gumu wants Li An to observe the changes outside of Honglin.”
Li Yanxia smiles, “ And…”
Li Zhaoyun glanced up, looking into Li Yanxia’s eyes and gently answered, “ You want Li An…”

Untamed Reactions (Part 1)
Requested by @lelewright1234: Hello my friend! Well, I’m a huge fan of the Untamed series! I wanted to see if you could do a long headcanon of "The Untamed" series characters with an African-American/black! Reader (Can you add Poly!Wangxian and the boys of MDZS) who as their girlfriend/wife with skin as dark as the night, long thick braided hair, a skinny long yet short curvy body, and brownish-black eyes. (Remember Black Lives Matter and Happy Black History Month!!!) Oh also can you add parts where they have children as well? (You can decide how many each of them have!)
Pairing: Untamed characters x female!African-American!reader
Warnings: none
A/N I made this more of a bullet list story then a written image, but I'd love to make a one-shot based on this story board if anyone wants it, also divided it into parts, this one and for the next I'll do Lan Xichen, Guangyao, Xue Yang, Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen
Poly!WangXian:
You meet them in Cloud Recesses as adult (20-ish)
you come from a clan that usually hides away from others, due to a fight between your clan leader and the others (like Lanling Jin clan leader)
so when you first get introduced, most people are very curious
you look different, so that also gains you a lot of attention
Wuxian is the first to greet you
he's very interested in you
he also thinks you're very pretty
asks a lot of weird questions at first
loves your hair
but like alot
constantly asks if he can braid your hair sometimes, saying he learned how from Yanli
you then have to explain that it isn't like normal braiding per se
que him wanting to learn how to properly braid your hair, which you gladly want teach him
so when he comes by and your hair is loose
and he's confused
because it's suddenly fluffier
he also dragged Wangji along, you still don't know why
so Wangji is sitting in front of you as you drink tea
while you try to explain to Wuxian how to braid
he definitely does his best, but the first braid are kindly said terrible
but he gets it after awhile
the braids still aren't that good, but the thought counted
you re-did your hair afterwards though
but Wuxian got sulky when you removed his braids
so you kept one
Wuxian also noticed the little trinkets and beads for your hair
you quickly explained that it was a sort of tradition and that they had different kinds of meanings
this gains you Wangji's attention as you start explaining while putting the beads back into your hair
they are both very interested in your culture
they often ask you questions throughout your stay at Cloud Recesses, trying to learn more and more
Wangji has absolutely talked back when someone, even when indirectly, insults or berates your culture and looks
Wangji is kind about it
Wuxian is not
he almost attacked someone when they made a mean comment about your hair
and Wangji lets him
Wuxian is the one to ask if you wanted to join there relationship
and he was quite surprised when you accepted
you then start to wear two beads on Wuxian's braid
Wuxian loves this the most, Wangji is just grateful about it
you spend equal time with both of them
with Wangji you're usually in the library, both reading
with Wuxian you're usually in the city, trying all kinds of food
or you're pranking Jiang Cheng
usually the latter
some people laugh at your relationship
but not in a bad way
they just joke that Wuxian needs two people to calm him down
and it's true
he only calms down when both of you tell him to hush
but he demands cuddles after
which he gets
otherwise he gets sulky
and you don't like being ignored
you somehow are able to make Wangji less "stuck up"
he feels and looks much more relaxed when he's alone with you and Wuxian
loves when you comb his hair or hug him
surprisingly, he's much more affectionate then you'd think
not as much as Wuxian
but still a lot
not in public though
only Wuxian likes being affectionate in public
people often think Wuxian likes you more since he hugs you more
but it's only because Wangji doesn't like it
he doesn't get upset easily, but such rumors do affect him
and you are a lot more affectionate in private
you do really love them equally and showing this is very important for you
your marriage is very small, only family (this includes the Wens)
you have two ceremonies, one for their culture and one for yours
you have three kids after marriage
they're a mix between all three of you
your firstborn is a mix between you and Wangji in appearance
she has a light brown skin-tone and her hair is like yours, but her face/height is more like Wangji
but her character is like Wuxian's, loves pranking you
your second born looks a lot more like Wuxian
a fair skin, but your hair
he is more like Wangji, focused on studying and such
the third (and last) is a copy of you, but with hair like Wangji and Wuxian
is a mix of pranking and studying, so a bit like you
parenting is a bit difficult
your youngest is usually upset that her hair is different from her siblings
she doesn't like it when you don't braid her hair like her siblings, so you explain that it might not be so good for her hair
Wuxian braids it in a Chinese style instead to cheer her up
Wuxian plays with the kids the most
Wangji focusses more on their teaching
but overall you're a very happy family
Jiang Cheng:
You meet him at Lotus Pier
your family was invited by his father
you were 14 back then and he was 15
he doesn't care what you look like, but is a bit fascinated
he does like you
because Wuxian leaves him alone now
until he's forced to join you and Wuxian by his father
grows more fascinated by you over time
is that person who changes his actions towards you, but pretends not to
for example when you said that it would be disrespectful in your culture to just ignore someone's greeting, he made sure to always greet you back when you said hello (even when it was just a nod)
cares a lot more than he let's on
you don't see him again until he's sect leader
you greeted him happily and he greeted back instinctively
starstruck when he sees how much you had changed physically
thinks you're even more beautiful than before
you're the first person to ask how he is feeling
not as sect leader, but just as Jiang Cheng
you talked to him like you would to an old friend, not caring about his status
something not a lot of people had done or would do (even Wuxian was more respectful than before)
he definitely changes his character around that period
much more open and more smiles
you confess to him (which he still gets teased for years later)
your courting process isn't that long
he learns a lot
like how to braid your hair
makes the time styling your hair much shorter
and he's actually really good
often listens to you as you explain stuff to him
gets really happy when he learns that you only let people close to you touch your hair
doesn't show it though
you marry after 4 months later
do to his position, your wedding is filled with at least two thousand people (disciplines and leaders from all clans came)
and it's a Chinese wedding
Jiang Cheng is actually a bit upset by this
so decides to redo it with only you two to show that he cares
you have 2 kids after marriage
twins
they look more like you, but they have his eyes, which always make it funny
when they're annoyed, they look exactly like him
kids are a bit scared of them
but they're the sweetest once you know them
their hair is like his, but with light curls in them
but same thickness of your hair
so he styles their hair as well
sometimes in a more Chinese like style
you and Jiang Cheng decide to raise them in two cultures
you teach them yours and he teaches his
kids love it
he sometimes follows your lessons to learn more himself
Jin Ling is your third unofficial child (along with the rest of the juniors as well)
you took him in after the whole fiasco of Guanyin Temple (also helping him in becoming leader of the Lanling Jin Clan)
you also have three other babies
dogs
Jiang Cheng named them (in the most cliché way, of course)
Angel (2), Queen (3) and Prince (1)
he loves them so much
plays with them constantly
and looks soo cute when he does, all smiles
Jiang Chang wants a third child
because he wants every kid to have a dog that protects them
so..... you might have a third child
unless he adopts another dog, then you might have more
it's 50/50 chance to what happens first
but happy family nonetheless
Nie Huaisang:
You meet him at the very young age of 12
Nie Mingjue had just become clan leader
and he had started to force Huaisang into sword training
so Huaisang ran off
he met you in the forest
your family was traveling and you had stumbled off during break
and you found each other by the river
each on one side
and then he saw you and fell in love
he thought you were some sort of angel
dressed in a beautiful white dress and colorful beads woven into your hair
you only noticed him when you heard a loud splash
you couldn't help but laugh as you saw him sitting in the river
you spent quite some time with him after
you also gave him some dry clothes because it was freezing outside
even more reasons for him to think you're an angel
but then you leave again
you only give each other your names
but years later, you're both 17 at this point, you meet again
he doesn't recognize him at first
until he spotted the pattern on your dress
exactly like the painting he had given you
but you changed a lot compared to then
so did he of course
but you changed everything
your hair was much longer, long braid(s) that reached past your waist and your body had grown much more mature
he approaches you first
introduces himself and is so happy when you remember him
you talk a lot
he doesn't hold back on complementing you
on literally everything
it was supposed to be a party for clan leaders and such
but you two had spent most time talking to each other instead of talking to others
well into the night
the stars had appeared to light your way
you only left when the moon was at its highest
but you met again, two days later
just to talk again
Huaisang felt so secure around you
freely talking about his love for art
showing his collection of self-painted fans
you spend some time together while painting
you often wear vibrant clothes
he loves them, because they look like art as well
but he even loves the simple beads that you sometimes wore in your hair
he even jokes that you yourself are a work of art
calls you his muse after awhile
you always return the name, which often causes him to flush red
he asks you to marry him 2 months into your friendship
he refuses to do a wedding in front of the whole clan (or other clans)
your family is there and all his friends (including Xichen and Guangyao)
includes both your cultures as much as he can
wants to learn how to braid
doesn't do well
you haven't let him braid your hair afterwards
it took you 3 hours to take his first braid out
he's sulky, but understands
continues to learn on his own
gains much respect after he finished his 3th braid (because doing your own braids hurts after awhile)
stops trying to braid after that
about a year into your marriage, your first child is born
a girl
she's dark skinned, but has her father's looks
as she grows older, she grows to look more like him
when she's 5, her little brother is born
he looks more like him
except for his hair, a full head of curly thick hair
Huaisang is very busy as clan leader
but he makes it work
even if it means brushing aside his duties
has at least one day every month just for you guys
you'd walk around in the city
if your children would even look at something for more than a second, Huaisang would try to buy it
you have to stop him
people always laugh when they see their leader being dragged by the ear by his wife
with two happy children running behind you two
he teaches his kids all about history of his clan as well as other clans
as they get older, they learn his mischief
unfortunately, they're also great liars like him
he knows, you don't
which causes them to always come your way
only for him to hear and step in
he loves them too much sometimes though
but he's always scared
scared that war would return
or someone was scheming behind his back, planning his death
yet when he sleeps in your arms every evening, kids huddled around you as well
he feels comforted
like he can protect you at all times
that's all the will he needs to live and protect you
Wen Ning:
you meet him at cloud recesses at age 15
you were dragged by Wuxian towards Wen Ning's practice spot
Wen Ning was trying to aim when he spotted the two of you
the poor boy almost had a heart attack when he saw a new person with Wuxian
this causes his arrow to shift, flying your way before hitting the tree next to your head
you, however, didn't even flinch
which surprises both boys
you're like Wuxian, very talkative
you talk to Wen Ning afterwards as well
he likes listening to you
opens up to you and you fall in love
he gets extremely excited and if he had a tail, it would be wagging from side to side
you become great friends
and his sister approves, which makes Wen Ning even happier
he invites you over for tea or food
and you just chat with each other about you day or about your past
loves to hear what your home was like
you miss him a lot when he leaves to return to the Wen clan
and then all of a sudden
he's gone
just gone, no explanation
and you don't see him again until he's already the ghost general
he doesn't remember you fully until some memory pushes forward
you baby him immediatley
and scold Wuxian, because Wen Ning looks too pale to your liking and you hate the chains he drags along with him
he takes them off eventually (except for the one around his torso)
you're both very busy
he with Wuxian and you with your clan
but once everything is over
you meet again
you even join him while he goes on the adventure with Sizhui (spin-off movie: The living dead)
you get injured and he becomes so worried
until Sizhui tells him that you're fine
but even then
worried!!!
because what if you die from infection????
you joke at one point that you'd become like him
the joke flies over his head at that point
but he starts to blur out strange things
one of which is that he can't loose you
because he loves you
you just watch until he realizes what he said
and his face just starts turning pink
something you didn't think was possible
but you return the confession by kissing his forehead softly
(you forgot about Sizhui, who was in the same room)
(awkward bean is just smiling)
after the confession, it's still a bit awkward
Neither of you really know what to do in the relationship
but you figure it out after awhile
not that either of you minded hugging each other awkwardly
you marry pretty late, a year after you started dating
it's not really a wedding
more of a gathering
you just gave vows in front of friends/family
what you didn't know is that Wen Ning asked your family first
when you do find out, you go to Wen Qing's grave (not really a grave but rather a memorial) and ask for permission as well
After the wedding, he suddenly asks to braid your hair
and he's really good
learned from his sister
he likes brushing and braiding your hair a lot
it helps him relax his mind
and it takes your arm pains away, so you like it as well
two years into your marriage, you decide you want kids
but you don't have biological kids with Wen Ning
but you did adopt a few kids
mostly kids who were orphaned because of the "war" or other stuff
you have 3
but Wen Ning comes home with a fourth
you just accept it
he's a great father
always playing with the kids happily
and spoiling them
he can't say no...
which leads to hilarious situations
like finding his hair in various braids =knots
it takes you hours to take all of them out once the kids are asleep
comes to the point that you just teach them how to braid
now they braid his and your hair
even with the large braid you already had, you could see several smaller braids that they made (they were very visible)
and then the larger one from Wen Ning
with a red thread woven through per your request
you make sure that its always visible, proud to have it
he cares a lot about his family and he'll protect you at all cost
and you'd do the same
Jin Zixuan:
you meet at cloud recesses
he's not particularly nice to you
he's made fun of your different appearance
but you can see him looking as his group walks off snickering
the lingering gaze
and his eyes clearly show doubt
so you don't take it fully to heart
but it still hurts
because even if he doesn't mean it, others agree and laugh
he notices and the comments lessen from his side
but then the others find out
Wuxian is the one to take action (of course)
you had never heard so many creative curse words
and all were slung Zixuan's way
afterwards you approach Zixuan
tell him to ignore Wuxian's antics
but to your surprise, he bows a full 90 degrees
and apologizes
when you don't answer, he looks up to see your panicked expression
and he gets on his knees instead (?!)
you are quick to pull him up onto his feet
he's a future clan leader, no way he had to be seen on his knees in front of you
you tell him he doesn't have to apologize anymore, the first was enough
his clan members don't stop though
if anything it got worse
but they do it behind his back
only finds out when Wuxian yells at him again
never had he been so angry
he doesn't talk to his clan members about it yet
feels like the glare was enough
then he apologizes to you again
to which you pull him up again and smile
telling him that he has nothing to worry about
but he knows it's a lie
because Wuxian had screamed at him earlier
and didn't forget to mention that you cried because if the comments
but he doesn't say anything
until he sees you alone
and you were sadly looking at the stream in front of you while chucking stones in ever so often
he approaches you slowly, but you hear anyway
he doesn't know why you smile so brightly when you see him
it confuses him a bit, but he didn't think too much as he joins you
neither of you say anything
it's just silent
you don't talk about that moment the next day
but surprisingly, you meet every night
to just sit with each other in silence
until the 5th day
he finally speaks up
tells you to not listen to his clan members
because they're wrong
when you ask what he means
he just tells you that you're beautiful and unique (in a good way)
the rest of the night is silent again, but you sit closer to each other
and it isn't awkward anymore
you talk a bit more at night
you confide in him now
telling him what others say
and he'll be quick to debunk it
your marriage is announced later that week
in public by some Lanling Jin member
neither you nor Zixuan knew about it
but neither of you mind it that much
his "friends" have a lot to say about it though
and there not positive things (again)
it's in public as well, in the middle of the courtyard where everyone could hear
they probably thought that you would be embarrassed once Zixuan agrees with them
spoiler!
he doesn't
instead he argues back
and defends you whole heartily
which surprises everyone but you
your marriage only takes place when you're of age
it is a giant wedding, thousands of people attend the wedding
once dressed fully, you found yourself beautiful
and Zixuan definitely agreed
your hair was still down in the large braid with ornamental pieces in it
you also wore a heavy head piece (which looks a bit like a crown)
the red dress was also heavy, but it was beautiful nonetheless
you felt like a princess
but you couldn't ignore the whispers around you
your first night together is Zixuan trying to cheer you up
you actually cried at one point
but Zixuan is quick to lessen the thought
telling you every little thing he loves about you
which is everything
he spends the whole night telling you this
(in more than one way)
you only get your first child at age 23, 5 years into your marriage
a boy
looks like him, but has your hair
acts as a mix between you and Zixuan
is kind and patient, but a bit arrogant like Zixuan
not in a bad way though
just know his worth and is not afraid to use it to his advantage
a girl is born 2 years later
she looks more like you, almost exactly the same
but she acts like her father
quite a short temper
takes no sh*t
surprisingly, the two kids get along very well
especially if it comes to getting in trouble
(definitely not from your side)
someone talks bad about the family?
two little demons are watching
but they're very loved, even with some of the troubles they create
Zixuan learns to braid from you just so he can do his sons hair sometimes
even when your son prefers to wear it in a giant bun
so he braids your daughters hair instead
son eventually got jealous of it
so Zixuan makes a few braids to weave into the bun
now everyone was happy
Zixuan is a strict father
but your kids found a way
puppy eyes
courtesy of Wuxian
and there's no way he'll say no to that
you can
so he just comes to you while sulking
and you say no for him
he insists that the kids sleep in the same room for now
he's just worried for assassination
which is not that uncommon
kids usually end up in your bed though
huddled in between the two of you
and they're out by the time the sun is up
which gives you and Zixuan the opportunity to just cuddle
for like 5 minutes
then he has to start his duties
and you would start yours
that's how you live your lives
and neither of you would change it
