every attempt I make at Organizing collapses on itself. There's too much stuff, but I can't just can it all. I know there's things I want to save, but that means sorting, which means organizing, and then it collapses again, because I don't know where to put anything, what to label anything. It's just this daunting and ever-growing pile sitting ominously beside me.

I do not like this! I do not like being like this! I want to be organized! I want to be able to find my stories and ideas and notes and everything. Argh.

So I’ve never mentioned this but I make decorative masks as I hobby? I’m not great at it yet but I thought the occasion warranted it, and by occasion I mean that I have 100 followers! Yes yes this is the 100 followers special, I’ve actually had 100 for a little bit but tumblr didn’t tell me because I’d technically already gotten to 100, but whenever bots follow me I remove them so I didn’t notice when it happened again but with real people! I’ve gotten to 100 and over on other platforms plenty of times, but this feels different, I’ve been putting a lot of my soul (pun intended) into this account and into Marzenie and it’s brought me so much joy, it isn’t just that I got to the big number but also just how many of those usernames I recognize, how many of them appear almost every day in my notifications and how many of them are people that I followed first because I thought they were cool

Can I Keep You possible spoilers

CIKY's Mc grew up completely covering herself up, head to toe, even in the comfort of her own house. Simply because she could not be discovered as a human lest she and her entire family be killed. So you can imagine that she's not exactly comfortable with having any exposed skin, and has rather bad anxiety about it.

And also, Black did all the shopping for her and Mutt. Sometimes they'd point out what they liked and Black got good at picking out things they would want to wear, but they most just wore what he got them with little fuss.

So Mc hasn't gotten to really explore her own style and all that. She's probably stunted in a lot of areas, not just fashion but I'm not talking about that right now. But yeah, I think one of the things I'm really going to explore is Mc finding her own style she likes to wear.

Right now I'm thinking a punk aesthetic, kind of inspired by the villain kids in the Descendants franchise. Mixing a bit of her covering up fully and letting loose some.

Along with exploring makeup and hair styling, since she didn't do that in the underground either. All helped by Lilac and Charmed, of course.

She's gonna have purple hair eventually.

Been thinking about this too hard lately regarding my special interests but I find it funny how mega man was something I can’t remember if I ever convinced anyone to play due to how difficult it was despite the fact series order didn’t matter-even if people pushed it, it’s not the end of the world if you play ZX before Zero or shit like that-yet I’ve been able to easily get people into getter and I know it’s cause it’s only 13 eps (not looking at toei) and watching a show a easier commitment then playing a game, but I realized more and more over time that “oh yeah getter is one of those fucking things where you actually need to read the manga before watching most of the anime’s to really understand wtf going on despite them being all different canons” and I’ve low key feel bad that my friends do not get to know the full context of things.

It’s a general thing to my understanding that old anime adaptations after the 70s but before current day while do their own thing and not properly follow the manga, still have wanted you to have read it prior to understand what’s going on despite the adaptation not being a sequel. I felt this was especially apparent with dynapro mecha, I read the jeeg manga before I watched shin jeeg and while it also heavily referenced toei jeeg it makes part of the story easier to understand even if shin does bother to explain who past characters are to the audience, mazinger plots are fairly simple and I know people say shin is a great start but Mazinkaiser throws you into things, none of the characters get proper introductions despite how episodic the plot gets later, but Getter? All of the OVAs took different parts of the manga and stitched them together in a weird way, and also most of the characters again do not get proper introductions so you’ll be like “who?” the entire time.

New is the only one where this isn’t a huge issue as it feels designed almost to be a entry series for newbies but there’s still problems with it being your first getter entry even if it’s more minor compared to arma or svn, but stuff like Musashibo being Benkei and Musashi merged into one so if you watch the other ovas without reading the manga you’ll be like “who?” to those two in say arma and the fact while it reveals the cosmic horror aspect better then the other ovas, the ending can still be seen as super vague. (If anything what new does best without needing manga knowledge is the fact it’s middle arc is just also using a different Ishikawa manga cause that thing did not get finished translating so most English fans will never know wtf is going on there LOL but new explained it fairly well)

Genuinely it sucks to say since I don’t like dictating what order people consume media in cause at the end of the day if they’re confused yet still get into the series it does not matter, but getter to be properly experienced cannot be done if your a anime only. You really do need to read the manga to understand most of the anime’s unless you stick to Toei stuff, but that’s so different that your still not getting the proper getter experience.

i think the moment i fully accepted that IW's story was. Definitely A Story was the moment ebina announced 'bleach japan'. like i think leading up to that point i was thinking to myself 'oh i hope i see X happen' or being like 'i wonder where this is going' and that sort but the proverbial bucket of ice was definitely that moment

a couple months ago I started writing an AU I was really excited about, but didn't get past the first chapter. my plan was to finish the whole thing before posting any of it because I know the way my brain works (see: all the unfinished multichaps currently up on my ao3 that I can't bring myself to complete) but. I really like what I've written so far and I feel kind of bad for putting up zero content lately. now I'm debating if I should put the first chapter up because like I actually really want to share it, but what if it becomes just another semi abandoned project on my ao3. hhhhhh

honestly I've finished Clavis's route already but I delayed posting screenshots so much that I managed to lose all of them by accident </3 but I had a few of them left bc I saved it for my reaction memes folder

things got complicated and more shenanigans involving Obsidian arrived, all thanks to Clavis for even more complex reasons! I can't never complain that the foreign faction type routes are boring or anything lol

and then I decided to take the ~Dramatic route~ this time (bc I wanted this Clavis card more than the romantic route). so here some best moments:

MC convincing the Obsidian rebels that Clavis is trustworthy to the cause and also summarizing his entire character

Chevalier having "haha your local relatable big brother energy" but it's hilariously tragic the more you think about all of this

and this AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA all the love to this card <333 it was worth all the suffering and they look amazing together!

I really don't understand why his dramatic route has the "romantic-ish" card while his actual romantic route has the "bedroom" card (or if he's isn't the only one) but it's a Clavis move right then and there I think lmao

Posted this one a little while ago, but does an abandoned fic even know time...? (Answer: clearly not.)

The premise of the fic is a what-if? canon-divergence idea where both Gandalf and Aragorn die in Moria, leaving the Fellowship to struggle on without either of their leaders.

And unfortunately, I did not leave any notes for my future-self when I started working on it originally, so every time I've tried to go back to it since my initial burst of work has run into the roadblock of my having no (middle-)earthly idea what was meant to HAPPEN?

I still don't know, but here's the immediate aftermath at least, while the Fellowship tries to pull themselves together in Lórien and figure out how to go on with the Quest without Aragorn or Gandalf there to guide them. We make it as far as the Anduin...

And there we leave them, to sink or swim as chance wills.

Yesterday's poll decided that The Adventurer should purchase some new shoes for himself while he's in the city...

It costs quite a bit of coin, but in the end he decides that having a new sturdy pair of boots will serve him well on his travels. After he's done in the shop, he rushes back to the local inn before nightfall, eventually settling into a somewhat restless sleep..

The next morning, he orders some cheap vegetable stew from a food stall, then lounges in a park as he has his breakfast, watching the squirrels weave through flowering trees and birds pecking about in the dewy grass.. When finished with his meal (and sufficiently recovered from the emotional turmoil of burning his tongue on the soup), he quickly sells his old pair of shoes to a sketchy pawn shop before finally getting back to his journey...

By his calculations, if he he walks all day, it should only be two more sleeps before he gets to his destination, so he sets out to travel as efficiently as possible. He doesn't have the money to rent a cart, or the skill to ride a borrowed horse, but, he does have some fancy new walking shoes and a renewed sense of purpose. No more meandering through fields looking for flowers, napping in the shade, or scanning the ground for cool rocks.. He's going to focus this time!

......After a few hours, he comes across a broken down carriage in the middle of the road, with few people surrounding it, seemingly stuck trying to repair a wheel or something. It's hard to discern from afar..

Maybe if he helps them, he could get a free ride.. or some coins.. or make a new lifelong friend! Who knows? Possibilities flood his mind, this is what adventuring is all about! Wandering into interesting situations and making the most out of them!! .. But, then he recalls his previous oath.. he's supposed to focus today and not allow himself to sidetracked.. And who says he has the skills to help anyway? It could always just be a waste of time... Hmm...

What should he do?
