it’s ridiculous to say dex specifically is irrelevant because really everyone is irrelevant in kotlc except sophie and keefe, and sometimes fitz

ways unraveled could be fixed:

alvar was lying the entire time

sophie gets rightfully mad at keefe in book 10

keefe Deals With Consequences in book 10

fitz gets to crashout in book 10

could also be renamed a list of things i wish would happen in book 10

Therapy speak is super annoying in characters and i think more authors should weaponize this by having a character use therapy speak to justify all their bad life choices including but not limited to bullying, arson, and war crimes to really drive home just how obnoxious it is

i know it really isn’t on fans necessarily to check shannon’s updates and keep up with her but i really wish they would so i could stop hearing people yell about how shannon doesn’t know what the great gulon incident actually is and how she’ll never tell us the details and how she’s going to keep it a secret until the end of time itself

actually i think it would be very silly if shannon released another book ten bonus chapter shortly after the first one. what if it became such a hit that she just kept going after that. what if by the time the actual book is released we’ve already read like half the book

a not-insignificant amount of people in her comments also seem to believe that the special edition unraveled and graphic novel part two are meant to be distractions so we won’t realize book ten isn’t coming out this year. and it’s like . . . guys shannon knows we aren’t stupid. we all knew we weren’t getting book ten all the way back in february when there was no cover announcement. these are just special editions, they aren’t supposed to replace book ten . . . if they weren’t releasing them this year then that would just mean we get nothing this year as opposed to special editions. you still would not have gotten book ten. would you rather just get nothing this year? genuine question . . . because personally a whole chapter of book ten is a lot more than i was expecting
