#i feel like I posted this already but I also can't find it in any recent posts so...#......he #cats #EVEN if I did post it.. why not poast himb again? it's he #I'm like halfway through actually editing aforementioned costumes and stuff and i WANT to work on sculptures again and I have video #s and that worldbuilding slideshow and all of these things so hopefully like.. more usual stuff soon maybe.. to be posted #for now though yeah.. just cats #The end of the year is also when I panic about the passage of time and how little I've gotten done and how I will never actually be a #sucessful game maker slash author slash cat cafe owner slash set designer slash costume designer slash psychologist #who lives in like Scotland or somehting and also owns my own candle company or something ghbjhb #and will probably just be a mentally ill hermit recluse all my life who dies early of mysterious health issues with 5000 projects left #undone and blah blah the crushing weight of chronic illness and capitalism and so on and so forth #So then I scramble to get projects done to try and meet some goals but usually that means I scatter between projects #so it takes longer to finish all of them. Like instead of dedicating 8 hours to one thing and finishing it one sitting. I'll do 2 hours on #this then 2 hours on that then 2 hours on another things. so they all get done slower even though I'm still technically making progress on #them all. This is also a very poo poo pee pee stink brain way to work and is not like. the most efficent thing but it's just how my brain #organizes tasks sometimes lol #***#(<ignore this its part of an OCD compulsion lol. anytime you see me type three asterisks I'm not bleeping out a curse word #it's just a Special Secret Foolish Thing I Have To Do At Specific Uncontrolable Times When Brain Says So gbjhhj)#ANYWAY... eeeee #Still haven't resolved my mystery chest injury though so being at te computer for too long is also kind of achey-inducing #Better get over it though because I have like 30+ hours of slideshow vidoe to edit hahaha hee hee hoo!!!!!

Some of you might be wondering what's been happening that I haven't said anything in the last few weeks (or last year if you're extra funny).

I'll just cut to the chase and say I've been going through some tough times, including a few depressive episodes and having to cut ties with someone I've known for years.

This is also the reason why most of my posts are gone, and the few that remain are devoid of any text or even tags. It was a dumb, panic-induced decision that I still regret having done.

There's a lot more I could say, but frankly, I'm tired of that. And I'm sure so are a lot of my followers and mutuals. I'll just say that I'm back, more resolved than ever after everything that's happened.

I know not everything has been fixed. That's for certain, but at the very least I don't want something like this to happen again.

On a more positive note, while I was away, I did manage to finish up a few things.

But let's just go one step at a time, and not dump everything at once.

I'm just going to post some of what I've been doing last month to fill the gap. But other than that, I'm back this time.

Tell me why I was attacked in my discussion board post for class??? I literally just picked some goals a library had listed in their strategic plan and talked about ways to meet those goals and people replied saying the goals were unrealistic for a ton of smaller libraries because they don’t have the resources and I’m like bitch I talked about one library and they made this goal for themselves what are you TALKING about

#my thoughts #I work in a public library I know makerspaces aren’t realistic for all libraries #my own branch does not have a makerspace!!#but the singular library I’m talking about made this a goal for themselves because they DO have the space and resources #I literally just said the library would need to survey the area to see what kind of makers are in the community and what equipment they nee #and I had three comments #Two of which seemed hostile that not all libraries could have a makerspace #I’m like that’s not what I was talking about and I know that?????#why am i seeing tumblr esque reading comprehension issues in my graduate discussions boards #time to write a polite but firm “you fucking idiot response

Upon thinking of how to integrate an RPG Maker game and a Doom WAD into each other, I think the easiest way would be to have both games go "please go to the other thing" at specific parts.

Like a character picks up a gun in the RPG Maker game and a text box shows up that goes "please start the WAD now" and you play through Map01. At the start of Map02, you're asked to save and quit out of Doom and return to the RPG for the next story bit

#the goal isn't to have a top-down RPG that's also an FPS because honestly you could do all that easier in Game Maker or Godot or something #Like you could just make a single program that's a top-down RPG that goes into an FPS for the dungeons #but the idea is specifically to use RPG Maker and Doom
